  1. Yeah, Rousey is the biggest star in the company.
  2. The Dr. Keith show is my favorite, but I understand that not everyone likes it.
  3. I definitely do give him props for the July marathon. And he does know his stuff with the deeper southern territories. Last one I listened to was reading Hogan house show opponents, gates, etc.
  4. If those people actually do cancel will be the big question. Or they could be like the fans who do nothing but complain and keep hate-watching. If people actually did vote with their wallets, changes would be much more likely. My guess is they don't cancel.
  5. I think they knew they already had the hardcores. The real object is to create new hardcore fans of the current product, so you'll buy tix and merch, etc. It really has to be the goal, since the only way of monetizing the old stuff is to throw it up on the Network, and they're already giving away the PPV's. If they're not putting on compelling enough TV to make people buy the Network, they're fucked, regardless of whether a few people want to watch 1976 Stampede.
  6. To paraphrase it, they aren't adding enough stuff or promoting it enough.
  7. Classic Dave.

  9. I think there are valid reasons for wrestling fans to complain about The Network. If the most important thing to you is watching current WWE, then no you probably don't have much to bitch about outside of maybe the fact that they don't do immediate replays of Raw & Smackdown. But if you really just want to see old wrestling they have in their library like Mid-South, AWA, Florida, St. Louis, you can certainly complain that it looks rather unlikely any of that stuff will be seen in the near future. I'm already spending money on stuff that I am actually seeking out to watch so I don't want to also spend money on something that I barely remember i have and when I do bother to watch end up getting annoyed at the fact that the player stops working once you skip around so many times. Which is only made worse by the fact that very little of the stuff has bookmarks, or bookmarks that work on my PC. Oh, absolutely, but it's also still in it's infancy. It's quite unrealistic to expect all of that stuff to be available already, if ever. I'd love to see weekly AWA and Mid-South, but they never told me that I'd get that when they started the Network, either. Unless I missed something. And those of us who do care about that stuff are a niche of a niche, so I understand their lack of action on it. I like current WWE and feel like I more than get my money's worth even if all I watch in a month is the PPV, so I doubt I'll ever cancel when it's so cheap. The technical bugginess and whatnot does suck, but again, this is still early in something that is a long-term thing. It's not like the Network is going anywhere.
  10. Court's got some great overbearing buzzwords, though.
  11. If they're not uploading everything, especially the B shows and other territories, then I don't think the people behind the Network know what they're doing. I wouldn't go that far. It's time consuming for something with next to zero impact on the bottom line of the Network. Sometimes I wonder if the Network is a social experiment by WWE to determine if wrestling fans will, in fact, bitch about everything.
  12. I feel the same. Can't they both be awesome, or is that too easy/not fun to complain about?
  13. Roman Reigns.
  14. I really wasn't expecting the B shows at all, anyhow. Just Raw and Nitro were what I figured we'd get.
  15. Gino is a guy I'd love to hear more about, too. Where there ever Texas set podcasts done?
  16. Got excited at first that we were getting yet ANOTHER episode.
  17. I'd love to read that post.
  18. Gives me a reason to watch the ECW PPV's. Been a long time.
  19. Agreed 100% with this. I am on the F4W board quite often, and it's about the same as ever when it comes to who is considered "good" and the reasoning that is used to arrive at that conclusion. There was a "who are your top 10?" thread recently with appearances by Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, etc. It's also commonly held opinion in some places that a guy like Sheamus is bad at wrestling, or that Cena can't wrestle. In short, same as it ever was.
  20. Exactly. Ambrose was born to be in the internet darling mid-card role where he has interesting storylines and cuts great promos while Bryan Alvarez bitches about him being buried. The backlash here started right away, before Reigns' push even began in earnest. Now it's time for confirmation bias to kick in and make it the narrative that Reigns sucks and Ambrose is Steve Austin. That's not to say I don't love Ambrose, because he's probably my favorite guy, just that Ambrose being pushed and Reigns being pushed are not mutually exclusive things. I loved the Shield, so I hope they all do great, though the only one I think won't is Rollins. The turn sucked, his music sucks, and his new look sucks, in my opinion. He's fine as a worker, and I think the Ambrose match/feud will be excellent. After that is when I think he fades out.
  21. I tried back when I first subbed to the site, but now usually only listen if the description piques my interest. Lots of times it doesn't, especially if it's action figure talk or things like that.
  22. This is still in the pipeline. That week was so overblown with Warrior footage that I held off and I am going to release it at the 6 month mark of his death. Also, talked to Loss the other day... WWTP will be back. Tremendous all around!
  23. Any new eps in the pipeline? Seem to recall Naylor talking about recording a Warrior show with Will/Lars.
  24. Much love to Alan4L for cleaning up the audio for the guys. Sounds awesome now.
