    Gordy is on a huge roll of late. King Tonga being pushed as big as he is makes me happy. Leduc vs. Tully would have been a blast.

    I just want to point out that I am too sexy for this match. That aside, this is really a showcase for Kikuchi and Kobashi to prove they can hang with the big 2 on the other side. They do really well with it and the opening minutes were great. I agree that it looked like a mistake when Kikuchi tagged so quickly (relatively, he had to be hurting) on the first heat. It still ended up being a great match with Taue being in way more trouble than you expect when you see the teams.

    Steiners/Long Riders in a cage next week is going to be huge. I like getting all the young guys involved in tag feuds. They don't have to go it out there one on one and struggle to keep things moving.

    Easy to read format. Great new tag team in Barb/Doc. They should go far. I liked Jarrett getting tarred and feathered and fully expect Jerry Jarrett to mete out some justice before Jeff can. The Nation is in trouble and I hope some of the babyfaces smell the blood in the water. Great setup for the World title match, but for me Wahoo putting the dress on Slater was the big highlight.

    Really fun TV match with Arn being a giant asshole any time he was on offense. Post-match gives the babyfaces back some heat and Barry a nice way to come back. Well-executed for what it was supposed to be.

    The final entrant for the WWC will be Ricky Santana. Bam Bam Bigelow (despite his manger Barrabas not being pleased about it) is looking for a worthy challenger at the event.

    The battle royal itself was good, but I'd say the Moondogs stuff blows it away. The man on woman violence was going a bit far, but I guess CJ was indeed not a lady. Embry's promo was in his top half looking at 91, but he's done better.

    This was amazing. Neighbors and Morrell trying to stop the match seemed ridiculous given how it was an anything goes match. They got what they deserved if you ask me. Lawler's fireball on Lee was great and I need more of this feud.

    I still don't get what wrestling in the WWF will do to achieve the goals of any of the characters referenced in this thread. DIdn't Nash at one point start asking why everyone in the WWF had to have some sort of defining profession instead of just being wrestlers?

    I'm gonna give you the same match I gave Pete. Sawa, Ishikawa& Otsuka vs. Super Tiger 2, Usuda & Ikeda Battlarts 7/26/2008 http://www.dailymoti...m/video/x60ml9p It's elimination style and goes 40 minutes but never drags. Also, the best example I have ever seen of using a man advantage to it's fullest.

    I'd go more than solid. Slaughter/Blackwell, the tag titles, Piper/Orton vs. Nord/Cactus AND a nice technical match between Mando and Daryl Peterson. Really good card for San Fran/Supercards.

    Flair busts out my favorite Flair-ism to finish, but with the strangest delivery possible. I'd agree that this isn't on par with the post-Rumble promo or some of his work in the weeks before the Rumble.

    Fuchi is so great here. Kawada's reaction after Fuchi hits him on the apron is perfect. He's got momentum coming off of the Jumbo bout and he's using it. The FIP on Misawa is the highlight, with Fuchi again the star of the show. Misawa's one elbow comeback and clearing of the ring after being tagged back in are great. Finishing run is really hot and Kobashi gets to look like a beast for surviving what he does. All of that and this is only an above average six man from this time frame.

    Great opener, and I'm loving Simmons and Black Irish teaming. Baba and Fujiwara squaring off a second time seems like it would be better than the first. Great setup for Bigelow/Tenryu. Very Tall Machine impresses in the main. Once again you have something for everyone across all of the matches, but nothing feels out of place.

    There is a lot of good stuff here. My problem is the lack of time given the match and how it basically robbed the match of any chance to be more than just good. But if you're trying to build to Rude/Steamboat it works. Plus, loads of fun stuff from 4 guys who know how to work. I did like Jesse n commentary calling out both of the major babyface cheating spots. The finish was really stupid. Why would any ref count that?

    I don't know what to say here. It is like one of those movies that are so bad they become entertaining that are the best ones to watch on MST3K. It's a complete trainwreck, but looking away is somehow not an option.

    Way ahead of it's time and Mick is seriously bonkers for some of that stuff. Missy taking a swim seemed to perturb JR a bit and it should have. Fun match with some nonsensical extracurricular stuff going on.

    Gordi hit my main ones here, but I'll expand on the last. Bock finally turning heel and intimidating Larry Z was absolutely incredible. Perez destroying Somers and Pillman vs. Zenk were really good too.

    I thought Sting came across as a bigger deal than he has since 1990 started. He was certainly happy to be there and that never hurts. Jesse showing up makes you think things are moving the right direction.

    As Steiner Brothers matches go, this is...just there I guess. They didn't sell a ton more for these two than they did for Muta, Chono or Hase, but it was enough to not completely take me out of the match and enjoy the big bombs.

    I thought that sequence of teamwork between Pillman and Buff was incredible for how green Bagwell was here. Good tag with a lot of energy and it seems like we're using these 3 to get Bagwell over.

    Great use of all the PR guys in the 10 man. Perfect roles for everybody to play. The whole match was great and Funk's turn shouldn't surprise anyone who has been watching Texas. I like how you start the card off with a wild brawl and go to the intense British technical work, then the Southern tag. All big matches, but very different in structure to keep the crowd from getting burnt out.

    Easily my favorite of the Jumbo/Kawada matches. Kawada looks like a real threat to Jumbo in ways he hasn't before and the crowd buying into it is something else. Kawada delivers on a lot of the promise he has shown in the lastr year in spades here and Jumbo is more than willing to make him look great for it.
