    I'd go more than solid. Slaughter/Blackwell, the tag titles, Piper/Orton vs. Nord/Cactus AND a nice technical match between Mando and Daryl Peterson. Really good card for San Fran/Supercards.

    Flair busts out my favorite Flair-ism to finish, but with the strangest delivery possible. I'd agree that this isn't on par with the post-Rumble promo or some of his work in the weeks before the Rumble.

    Fuchi is so great here. Kawada's reaction after Fuchi hits him on the apron is perfect. He's got momentum coming off of the Jumbo bout and he's using it. The FIP on Misawa is the highlight, with Fuchi again the star of the show. Misawa's one elbow comeback and clearing of the ring after being tagged back in are great. Finishing run is really hot and Kobashi gets to look like a beast for surviving what he does. All of that and this is only an above average six man from this time frame.

    Great opener, and I'm loving Simmons and Black Irish teaming. Baba and Fujiwara squaring off a second time seems like it would be better than the first. Great setup for Bigelow/Tenryu. Very Tall Machine impresses in the main. Once again you have something for everyone across all of the matches, but nothing feels out of place.

    There is a lot of good stuff here. My problem is the lack of time given the match and how it basically robbed the match of any chance to be more than just good. But if you're trying to build to Rude/Steamboat it works. Plus, loads of fun stuff from 4 guys who know how to work. I did like Jesse n commentary calling out both of the major babyface cheating spots. The finish was really stupid. Why would any ref count that?

    I don't know what to say here. It is like one of those movies that are so bad they become entertaining that are the best ones to watch on MST3K. It's a complete trainwreck, but looking away is somehow not an option.

    Way ahead of it's time and Mick is seriously bonkers for some of that stuff. Missy taking a swim seemed to perturb JR a bit and it should have. Fun match with some nonsensical extracurricular stuff going on.

    Gordi hit my main ones here, but I'll expand on the last. Bock finally turning heel and intimidating Larry Z was absolutely incredible. Perez destroying Somers and Pillman vs. Zenk were really good too.

    I thought Sting came across as a bigger deal than he has since 1990 started. He was certainly happy to be there and that never hurts. Jesse showing up makes you think things are moving the right direction.

    As Steiner Brothers matches go, this is...just there I guess. They didn't sell a ton more for these two than they did for Muta, Chono or Hase, but it was enough to not completely take me out of the match and enjoy the big bombs.

    I thought that sequence of teamwork between Pillman and Buff was incredible for how green Bagwell was here. Good tag with a lot of energy and it seems like we're using these 3 to get Bagwell over.

    Great use of all the PR guys in the 10 man. Perfect roles for everybody to play. The whole match was great and Funk's turn shouldn't surprise anyone who has been watching Texas. I like how you start the card off with a wild brawl and go to the intense British technical work, then the Southern tag. All big matches, but very different in structure to keep the crowd from getting burnt out.

    Easily my favorite of the Jumbo/Kawada matches. Kawada looks like a real threat to Jumbo in ways he hasn't before and the crowd buying into it is something else. Kawada delivers on a lot of the promise he has shown in the lastr year in spades here and Jumbo is more than willing to make him look great for it.

    Spaldoni hit on almost all of my reactions. Nikita being dominant here is great as well and he is on a HUGE roll. Can we see Studd and Nikita in a (obviously shitty no-finish, but still) battle of the bulls?

    Really good TV that builds to the Omni. Savannah got a great look at the midcard with some very different presentation match to match. Main event would have been lots of fun and you sent the fans home happy.

    Davey early on gets time to shine and does. Michaels and Piper too. Bossman's elimination was easily the most memorable moment. Flair is why you watch and he tops all of that by keeping busy the whole time he's in , which is forever. Great Rumble with an all-time performance from both Flair and Heenan.

    The celebration was definitely the highlight here as Jacques never gets much of anything going. I like Piper finally getting a title win and he seems like he's really enjoying the reaction he gets.

    I would agree that Kid looked like the worst of the bunch as far as consistently hitting his shit. But everyone comes off well in the end due to the sheer amount of cutting edge spots being thrown around. Not a ton of selling going on throughout, but that's not really what this match was about. Caras vs. Wagner carried this I thought. There were a noticeable amount of places where the match stalled because of a lack of communication, but it doesn't hurt this match a ton.

    Wow, this was awesome! To make a point as to how into this match I was, I paused my lunch to finish and review it rather than miss a key transition or forget a detail that I liked.
