Hell of a bold project here. The Inoki mixed styles matches should be different than anything else in the project. Hell of a juniors division. Tenryu, Fujinami, Choshu and Flair all in the mix for main events should be all kinds of fun. Oh and Volk Freaking Han!! Love that guy.

Loved these 2 beating the shit out of each other. Jaggers really shines in matches like these. The cowbell was used in all kinds of hurty ways and both guys bleed buckets. What more can you ask for?

Pretty nothing match after the shine, I'd have to agree. Commentary didn't help.

You do understand Victator that really what kids want is to feel like their parents love them and want to spend time with them. The food and clothes mean nothing to them. Toys are great, but without parents who give loving attention the kids are going to be miserable. I can tell you this because I see it happening within my own family and we all do our best to make up for what the kid isn't getting from her mom.

Yeah the fire was incredible. That had to be a seriously hot environment to work in. Loved Colon getting his hair singed by the fire. Crazy bastard. The figure 4 by Colon after the bell was great, as was the crowd still throwing garbage at Ayala after he had been beaten. Ayala crawling over to try and get his hands on Colon one last time was pretty great too.

I liked this, but I felt like it needed more FIP time from Perez. The offense that Kroffat and Jaggers got was good, but there needed to be more, put some hope spots and cutoffs in there too. Perez's powerslam was really good as well.

Not much besides a brawl. It's not bad in any way, but it doesn't really stand out either.

Yeah that pre-match footage was all kinds of gruesome in a way only Puerto Rico can deliver. Chicky is attacked with a wooden axe handle and bleeding at the opening bell, which is a perfect way to start this. Both Invader 3 and Chicky play their roles perfectly. Chicky is so great at putting over how much a babyface is destroying him. I also love how his comebacks pretty much come off of dirty tactics right up until the last one. The camera work of Invader 3 punching Chicky on the outside is all kinds of awesome. You can see the blood smeared all over Invader 3's fist! I dug the finish, I really love how some of these finishes don't involve a finisher but make perfect sense. Invader definitely took a good shot to the back of his head and Chicky, with his one non-cheating comeback, takes advantage to get the pin and escape the wrath of Invader 3. When you think about it, Invader 3 losing due to hitting the back of his head really hard is an incredible finish in the meta for this match given the pre-match footage as well. Amazing stuff and I really love Chicky Starr. Invader 3 too, but Chicky makes this.

I love the idea of the characters being main event draws. Imagine the western perception of that as it happened.

The comedy match with the women taking turns beating up on the one man on the opposite team is a funny idea. Then if you look at some of the darker reasons for watching joshi it gets a little more twisted.... Anyway, having Super Porky in a match designed to get the doll characters over seems a little counterproductive. THAT guy can and will steal just about any show. Those first 3 you listed would all be incredible. One thing though, if you're in japan wouldn't you list the names from least prominence to most?

I liked the way Butch was working the crowd throughout. Really great stuff there. Battens play off of the Herders really well and both the shine and the heat were really good. Hot tag could have used a bit more heat from whichever Batten it was, but that's a small quibble for an otherwise very good tag match.

I like them putting over the cobra clutch as such a big deal. Santana slamming Pogo's head against the mat as a revenge spot was great.

I loved Starr using his arm to stop Colon from punching him in the headlock. Repeatedly. Then Colon puts the arm between his legs and I don't know what Starr did but it made Colon think twice about that. Nice detail work there. I also liked how Starr countered all of Colon's technical wrestling to cut off his offense (once he got going) with brawling. Good way to show that he's outclassed there and has to go to the strikes to even the playing field. I enjoy how these guys will actually bump on the baseball field. That can't possibly be as easy on you as bumping on the mat.

So much good stuff here. They start out basically just beating the shit out of each other and never stop. Colon grabbing two handfuls of hair to keep Starr from dropping off the top of the cage was amazing. I loved the cutoff spots as both were going for the door involving the ropes being used to do damage to the guy trying to escape. Brilliant stuff. How none of it made it's way into other matches I've seen I'll never know. Ending is basically a continuation of the match if you ask me. Brawling out the cage door and onto the field seems like a logical conclusion to what we just saw.. Starr takes a suplex on the baseball field, bet that felt good. Great, great stuff all around.

Yeah, Hogan seems like a guy who is always working if he knows there are cameras on.

Elliot covered most of it. Pogo is really, really good in PR. I've not once liked him in japan.

Yeah that is a great finish, very lucha tecnico-y. Very fun tag match with Pogo really doing some great stooging at the start. The babyface switching (since they are twins) really confuses the ref. Not sure I like babyface illegal partner switching before the heels do anything dastardly. Pogo and Nagasaki really do well with the heat though and the tag gets the crowd all kinds of riled up. One of the reasons I like tag wrestling is there are a few really good formulas that very rarely miss when done by competent wrestlers.

I don't need to make Carlos Colon a star. Watch any of his big matches in PR. I'd put him on a Hogan/Lawler level of the crowd living and dying through what he does. Some of his big comebacks the crowd response is ridiculous.

Yeah this heat was so well done. The cutoffs by Chicky were especially good. I also liked a small touch that Ron Starr added. Whichever twin wasn't in the ring wandered away from the corner to complain to the ref, so Ron bangs the FIP twins head into that turnbuckle just as an added fuck you. Great stuff.

That sharpshooter spot with Ayala was so awesome. The two kicks to the back of Chicky's head were brutal, props to both on those. I also loved the finish, with Ayala bouncing a seemingly unstoppable Carlos Colon's head off of Chicky's to set up a back suplex for the win. I'm sure there's a joke there somewhere. Great structure and the crowd was absolutely nuts for the Colon hot tag. I'd agree this is easily the best TNT has looked. Even detail stuff like really grinding on a headlock was done right.

This was 90% shine that went nowhere because Chicky hits a senton after some interference by Ron and got the three count. Were the Youngbloods well below Ron & Chicky at this point and that's why they got so much offense?

Jaggers seemed largely wasted here as he didn't really get to do much. Kroffat made a good showing though, as did both Castillo and Perez. I did like the teamwork from Castillo/Perez while it lasted.

And Houston, to be honest. I love everything I've seen so far. If you wanted to build to your supershow I can see doing that. My time is taken up with the PR stuff I do, so I did not join. But I look forward to seeing all of your efforts!

Abdullah Tamba will be in action, as will los Super Medicos. El Satanico will be taking part in a singles match after he and los Infernales join us at the desk. Hugo: That guy really knows how to throw a punch! Rickin: He's a very accomplished wrestler Hugo. He just tends to use a lot of tactics I don't like. Hugo: And I doubt he cares very much what you like! Rickin: As do I, Hugo. Dutch Mantell will be wrestling tonight. So will los Mercenarios, who will hopefully be less..aggressive following the match. Hugo: They did say they were sending a message. Maybe they still feel like they need to, maybe they don't! Rickin: True, it could go either way. Barrabas will be joining us at the desk. Ricky Santana will be visiting Chicky Starr's Sports Shop. Hugo: Maybe Chicky can talk some sense into him!! Rickin: We'll be visited by Al Madril as well, although I'm not sure I want to be anywhere near him after last week. Hugo: Al's not a bad guy! He just...went a little too far last week. Hugo: We don't see Carlitos wrestle on live TV very often!! Rickin: No we don't Hugo, it will be quite a treat for our fans. I can only hope that los Infernales don't feel the need to interrupt that match. Hugo: Or los Invaders!! Rickin: I would think they would only do that if Carlitos was outnumbered, Hugo. It looks like we are getting ready for our first match. Los Tejanos are in the ring and here come los Mercenarios. Hugo: They aren't rushing the ring this time! Rickin: No, they actually seem to be waiting for the-there they go. Hugo: I guess they haven't made their point yet! Los Tejanos vs. Los Mercenarios Mercenarios attack the Americans with clubbing blows, knees and punches. A short comeback is cut off by Mercenario 2 with a series of headbutts. Mercenario 1 hits the rib breaker and Mercenario 2 follows with the splash for a 3 count. Colon: We said, but we're going to take it much slower this time. He loves lucha libre too much to quit, but I'll say again that I don't think he'll ever be back to 100% of what he was. Rickin: Such a dastardly act by Al Madril, and not his last of the night. Colon: I'm going to leave that for Hercules Ayala to address. Rickin: Thank you, Carlitos. Rickin: He is a large man to fly around the way he does. Hugo: He sure is!! Poor Salgado in there is going to get flattened!! Rickin: I can't help but agree with that Hugo. We're ready to start. Armandito Salgado vs. Abdullah Tamba Tamba dominates again with throat thrusts and headbutts. A big avalanche in the corner crumples Salgado into the turnbuckle where he gets stomped by Tamba. Tamba with a big slam in the center of the ring and a splash off the top turnbuckle for 3. Abdullah Tamba by pinfall in 2:23 after a top rope splash Hugo: WOW!! Abdullah Tamba is unstoppable! Rickin: I don't know about that. Barrabas and all three of his charges were watching that match from the top of the ramp. Hugo: They are supposed to be joining us, right? Rickin: They are, but it looks like Bam Bam and Tamba are having a staredown as Tamba leaves the ringside area. Hugo: OH! Are you thinking what I am thinking Rickin?!? Rickin: I am, and we'll find out if we're right soon. Barrabas is on his way over here with all 3 of his men. Hugo: You're going to ask him, right?!? Rickin: I am. If I have the microphone, that is. I can't see a better way to send a message to Abdullah the Butcher! Rickin: Not many men would want to send a message like that to Abdullah the Butcher. Barrabas: Bam Bam outweighs Abdullah. He is younger, quicker and far more agile. Why would we worry about Abdullah the Butcher? Rickin: He is easily the most psychotic man we've ever seen in the WWC. And that is saying something. Barrabas: I will give you that, but I've dealt with Abdullah before. I can guide Bam Bam through that. There is also another matter to discuss. Huracan Castillo Jr. and Miguelito Perez accepted the match with Jonatahan Boyd and the Crusher. Rickin: I fully expected them to. Barrabas: I suppose you did. You probably expect them to win as well. They do not have a chance against these two men! The Crusher could handle both of them by himself! With Jonathan Boyd it is a foregone conclusion. Rickin: Those two young men are very skilled and courageous. I think you'll find they put up more fight than you expect. Barrabas: Now you know why I don't usually let you talk. This started out so well. You tell your little friends that they better be ready to suffer on December 23rd. Because Jonathan Boyd and the Crusher are both bigger, stronger and meaner! Chicky says you're off limits, but that doesn't mean we have to take this from you! I have held multiple titles in Mexico and deserve respect! Rickin: I respect your abilities. Rickin: So your goal as I understand it is to separate Chicky Starr's enemies from any title for six months. Morgan: That's only the beginning. What happens after that is...much worse. No wonder you seem to like him so much. I have friends who deal with that kind of stuff. Friends who enjoy seeing people like Hercules Ayala and Victor Jovica get hurt. I think you know who I mean. Hugo: I wonder why Hercules and Carlitos decided to come out first! Rickin: I think we both know very well why. Hugo: Smart move. Rickin: The crowd are blowing their horns for their favorites. Carlitos Colon has such an effect on the fans. Hugo: He does! Hercules Ayala has become a fan favorite as well. Rickin: So he has. And now we hear the boos as Madril and Chicky Starr come down to the ring. Hugo: The Latin Lover and Chicky Starr teaming! Dream Team!! Rickin: The fans don't agree and they are letting them know. Hugo: Chicky is getting upset and understandably so! These fans should appreciate his genius! Rickin: I don't think that is going to happen on the scale you want it to Hugo. Hugo: LOOK OUT!! Madril and Chicky are on the attack as they rush the ring! Rickin: But Ayala and Colon are ready for them. NWA WWC Caribbean Champion Al Madril & Chicky Starr vs. Hercules Ayala & NWA WWC Universal Champion Carlitos Colon The match is a wild brawl to start with things settling down after a few minutes. Madril and Starr look the worse for wear. Chicky goes out of his way to avoid Colon, even after taunting him on the apron. Ayala and Colon work Madril over for a while. Chicky pulls Colon's feet out form under him from outside and Madril starts putting the boots to Colon. Chicky introduces Colon to a chair and the ringpost outside, busting him open. Colon fires up after a time and busts Chicky open with headbutts. Chicky is quick to fall into his corner and tag out before bailing. Colon chases Chicky down and decimates him on the outside while Madril and Ayala brawl. Chcky with a low blow and Colon is counted out. Al Madril & Chicky Starr by countout in 16:38 Los Infernales charge the ringside area and start beating up both Ayala and Colon. Los Invaders are not far behind and it's a 5 on 5 melee with half of the participants bleeding after a few minutes. Hugo: WOW!! Another HUGE brawl! Is this what the main event on December 23rd will look like?!? Rickin: I'm almost certain it will be similar, just inside a large cage. Hugo: WOW!! Did you see that low blow Colon just gave Chicky?!? I'm told our main event will be Huracan Castillo Jr., Miguelito Perez and Abdullah Tamba against Barrabas entire stable of Jonathan Boyd, the Crusher and Bam Bam.
