  1. The download option isn't available on soundcloud.
  2. Well? I was thinking about this WWF narrative lately. Also, were there any WWF matches prior that topped Savage-Steamboat? And how long did Michaels-Razor stand atop the pole?
  3. Again, thorough stuff boys. Well done!
  4. Really odd bit on the q and a this week - Conrad asked something to the effect of when did Tony feel Crockett promotions was doing well and he replied 'never'. Also, his continuing defense of Russo makes no sense.
  5. I remember him writing a blog about the pressures inside WWE. He seemed quite intelligent in it (can't find it online at the minute).
  6. Not to speak ill of the dead, obviously.
  7. I was going to comment on the fact that I'm not sure how far back I trust my opinion on favourite/best matches, but the last comment above caught my attention too. Ricky, was it a conscious decision to avoid rewatching stuff? I agonize with myself over whether I should do less rewatching and more brand new to me stuff all the time...
  8. So....is it any good? I listened to the interviews with Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan so far, enjoyed both. What's the rest of the show like?
  9. A good show. Charles' point about Meltzer saying 2014 G1 was the greatest tournament in history without discussing other great tournaments or giving context was what I was getting at with the Cena match at Summerslam.
  10. I suppose it does. Would like to hear more from you on this. Do you have a Cena great matches list from the GWE days?
  11. Has he? I see Cena as having great years in 2006, 2007 and from 2013 onwards. Scattered highlights here and there in between.
  12. I'm not defending the match (I haven't watched the wretched thing btw).
  13. I'd like to think I put more thought into what I say. And I certainly would if I was on a podcast.
  14. It's more that there's no way he gave the subject enough thought to make such a declarative statement.
  15. Lightning quick, definite statement made with 19 seconds thought number 237 - cena v Corbin was in the bottom 10% of Cena PPV matches ever.
  16. I agree. And the idea of a full, albeit swift, overview of a whole career in one sitting is appealing to me.
  17. I wonder how different Schiavone found RF's 'ask questions flatly from a sheet with no follow up whatsoever' from Conrad's prepared, thorough grilling. I have my issues with Big Conrad at times but he puts an honest effort in, and to be fair he works better with Schiavone anyway.
  18. Really enjoyed the discussion on both episodes.
  19. Couldn't TNA's previous awfulness be commented upon here? Why close it?
  20. To be honest, it's a relief that the show isn't weekly anymore, and unless he has a new cohost I tend to skip the top 10, and I'm selective about which interviews I listen to BUT I still think there's enough worthwhile stuff most of the time to pick through.
  21. It's optional 😀
  22. Wanted to draw attention to the slaughtering a sacred cow feature. Quite enjoyable, and familiar ground to longtime PWO-ers.

  24. The Hog Wild episode is off to a really compelling start, with Conrad going hard at Heenan for working drunk and Schiavone questioning his own avoiding confrontation as a producer back then.
