  1. Whick Kubrick ones?
  2. Just getting to finish this up now. Pete - really, REALLY appreciated you going so high on Windham. I'm in exactly the same boat - there's loads of holes you can punch in his argument but ultimately i'm like 'Fuck off, it's Barry Windham!' Tim, having Dick Murdoch so high was a surprise, but a damn pleasant one at that. I've enjoyed everything I've seen from him - especially (gasp!) v Windham in Mid South, and hope to dig much deeper on him soon. Also, the little interludes away from the lists were fun. Pete speaking on changes from 2006 to now was very interesting.
  3. Holy shit! Looking forward to FINALLY hearing you two!!!!
  4. Interesting. Please elaborate. I like what you're saying, I just don't quite see the links.
  5. Any word from the reaction show boys yet? Rumour has it* they trashed their room in protest late last night. *started here and now
  6. Even if moments of greatness come out of nowhere, surely someone that is still watching will alert us to them? Basically, can't someone else do it?
  7. And we're Charlton Heston, thumping the sand at the end of Planet of the Apes.
  8. Oh, didn't see it mentioned here but Kelsey Grammer voiced the opening video. Classy stuff.
  9. Best post ever.
  10. Was the 1991 Boston Garden card as poorly received as this? If I'd paid a trillion dollars to get to mania, last thing I'd want is these jokers trying to stage manage me.
  11. Alvarez was talking about words for chants being put up on the big screen during some of the matches, mentioning New Day and Women's three way specifically. Sounds absolutely horrid. Looking forward to hearing more about this from the Reaction show.
  12. I've watched the show this morning. Wouldn't have gotten through it without the fast forward option and you guys. Johnny's vacuuming, Matt D wanting to leave home, everyone hallucinating during the main event - great stuff. Cheers.
  13. I'm not saying it's controversial. I will say that I wouldn't ask a question like that.
  14. BTW I've just woke up. Get my boy off to school, then Wrestlemania beckons. Looking forward to the 35 page thread afterwards....
  15. I dunno Parv. Maybe your attitude to the board is different to others? While you see it as a bunch of friends hanging out chatting, there are others (myself included) that wouldn't feel that level of comfort expressing any and all views on here. Great for you that you feel that way, but maybe bear in mind that not everyone else does.
  16. Bingo! Thanks for that.
  17. Your mother sounds cool.
  18. Ok, maybe this will help - I think you talked about printing out a mountAin of results listed in the thread from your school printer. Does thAt bring any bells?
  19. Yeah, now that you mention it, didn't you once get into it with jdw about Vince's expansion? What thread was that - bound to be something useful in there.
  20. Great news! Looking forward to a no nonsense list from Pete and a 'what are these crazy kids listening to?!' selection from Tim.
  21. From Between the Sheets #33 thread. Me - 'Listened to the first 15 minutes or so and I've got to admit to be fascinated by the incredible travel schedule maintained in the mid-80s in WWF. When did it really ramp up and when did it settle into a more regular touring circuit?' Kris - 'It started ramping up hard in 1985....it didn't really settle down until late 1987 or so' Could we flesh this out a bit? How did it settle down? Better organisation? Less opposition to squash throughout the country? I'm interested too in how some maintained a better standard of work than others along the way, at least on televised footage we have.
  22. I'm zeroing in on the Top 10. Great energy from you both. Hell of a show guys.
  23. Things I like to see in a wrestler: - proper tights - proper boots - knee pads I dislike it if any of these three things are missing. Big Boss Man?

    NXT talk

I had a smug little chuckle when Balor was introduced as being from 'Bray county, Wicklow, Ireland'. As a tribute to Bix and Kriz, I'm not explaining that......

    Bret Hart

Don't want to derail, but isn't that a kick in the balls to his old friend undertaker too?
