The Adonis-Orton match was on that wrestling gold collection, with Meltzer and Cornette alternate commentary.

Any sign of this becoming a regular feature? Does anyone think flair's commentary would add anything to his matches? Just asking, really not sure either way.

It doesn't get a lot of attention here. What's the deal? From very limited viewing, and hearing Shoe and Dylan mention it in various podcasts, I get the impression that its very highspot orientated, throughout the card, with little sense of progression as an entire show. Any PWG fans here? Any standout matches/shows that you'd recommend for a newcomer?

This reminds me of a funny bit from Meltzer, some time during the '92 steriod scandal. Can't remember all the details, but the point was that a not very physically impressive indy worker cut a promo saying he would show the crowd 'what a real man is supposed to look like'.

But what good can come of pointing that out? It's johnnys opinion, he's entitled to it.

This is something that's puzzled me a bit for years. The decisions to allocate wrestlers music, and when seems quite arbitary. Warrior had his tune by WM 4, yet DiBiase came out to silence until 1990 (I think). By 1991 it seems every featured star has a tune, but why was it so patchy until then?

Really? I should watch it again. Previous viewings have always left me with the impression it was really rushed (for tv time, presumably).

Looking at TNA's second quarter of last year, Aries v Angle (aired on 10th June) really stood out. Angle also had a three match series with Young. I enjoyed the stretcher and Bully Ray-refereed ones. The Magnus-Storm streetfight at Slammiversary was enjoyable but went into overkill.

Lots of great stuff in there. Seems like you've spent your limited time wisely. You've requested opinions. Just a couple that I find out of place in a Top 100 - Rock/Mankind at Rumble, Awesome/Tanaka (One Night Stand), Undertaker/Mankind (KotR 98), Windham and Luger v Horsemen (Clash 1 - a little too short for classic status to me) and HHH/Michaels (Hell in a Cell).
