Thought I'd bump this in light of the PWO appreciation going on now - my very first post. The original question posed - if you could only watch wrestling from before or after 31st December 1996, which would you choose? Pre 1996 was the overwhelming favourite when I first asked - always interested to see how things stand now.

What a wonderful thread. I've lurked here since early 2013, finally signed up in spring 2014. I doubt I've gone three days without checking in during that time. It's been a huge part of my life for a long time. It's nice to stop and take stock of that.

I enjoyed the second episode on Cena. Nothing jumped out as wildly inaccurate, although I got the impression his make or break moments were heightened for dramatic purposes (he got a lot of chances to succeed on Smackdown in 2002-04). Does anyone have a list of titles on future episodes? I'm curious if there's a Lesnar one in the pipeline, although I can't imagine Brock sitting down to spew revisionist history.

I'd put it down to Conrad being a very busy man these days. I get the impression he's pushing Bischoff and especially Ross along in recent episodes, hoping to finish up asap.

This weeks podcast provided one unforseen laugh for me. Jr had been spouting cliches and generalities as replies for a while, then Conrad asked why Daniel puder never took off. Jr thought he was asking about other tough enough contestants Miz and Ryback and launched into an answer. Unusually for Conrad (with jr, anyway) he testily stopped him in his tracks and clarified the question. Just seemed like Conrad had had all Jr's bullshit he could handle for 1 day.

Ok Bix I owe you an apology. I'm not the most competant computer user out there, but my brother tells me there's probably a setting somewhere on my computer that's saving mp3s without their extension. He's shown me a workaround for that. Again, sorry.

One thing that stuck out from this week - Arn really undersells his own talent and match quality. Someone should direct him here to see just how revered he is.

He's not too popular around here these days but Brian Last does terrific interviews. I'd love to see him get the opportunities that Conrad does.

I really enjoyed that one too, Parv. Whatever flaws the the show has, it’s refreshing to hear Ross go off on management. He clearly doesn’t give a fuck anymore.

I remember Conrad doing a watchalong of Rumble 1990 with Schiavone. He moaned about the Valentine-Garvin match. He said if he'd paid for the ppv and these two non stars appeared he'd be pissed. He's a fucking moron.

Plus, addressing criticisms from twitter on the show (that have nothing to do with the discussion) is annoying.

It might be time for Conrad to edit down these shows - JR’s going off on a lot of irrelevant tangents. I forgot the episode I listened to earlier was ostensibly about the Canadian Stampede.
