One thing that stuck out from this week - Arn really undersells his own talent and match quality. Someone should direct him here to see just how revered he is.

He's not too popular around here these days but Brian Last does terrific interviews. I'd love to see him get the opportunities that Conrad does.

I really enjoyed that one too, Parv. Whatever flaws the the show has, it’s refreshing to hear Ross go off on management. He clearly doesn’t give a fuck anymore.

I remember Conrad doing a watchalong of Rumble 1990 with Schiavone. He moaned about the Valentine-Garvin match. He said if he'd paid for the ppv and these two non stars appeared he'd be pissed. He's a fucking moron.

Plus, addressing criticisms from twitter on the show (that have nothing to do with the discussion) is annoying.

It might be time for Conrad to edit down these shows - JR’s going off on a lot of irrelevant tangents. I forgot the episode I listened to earlier was ostensibly about the Canadian Stampede.

There's audio available of the interview with all the ads taken out - reduces the length from 1 hr 43 mins to 1 hr 7 mins. Wade's brutal with the ads.

I agree, Loss. But extending that to its logical conclusion would remove all celebrity from the world.

Just finished watching, 3.55 in afternoon here. Really enjoyed first half, and Hhh Batista wasn't bad, and the main was good but poor ending. Took a day off to do this and I'm exhausted too!

I'm too old to sit up watching anything. I've booked the Monday off work - all I need to do is send the wife and children off to work/school and then I can watch whatever I want from the show. I'll be reading through the thread here as I go.

I’m in the process of catching up with a lot of the podcasts from last year. One thing I really appreciate is that bischoff has a great deal more credibility when he’s taking meltzers writing to pieces than Pichard. Specifically, I’m listening to the bash at the beach 94 episode now. Bischoff is completely dismantling Meltzer’s reporting on business matters. I’d love to hear a civilised conversation between the two of them to see who comes off better.

I don't think I'd enjoy it if it happened every week, but Cornette's thorough reviews of Raw have been interesting. He really concentrates on how bewildering and confusing it all seems for a casual viewer/newcomer.

I like the sound of this. Seconded.

Cornette did a rundown of cards in early February 1986 on a recent Experience. It was an hour into the show. I always skip around to find the relevant bits on that show.
