(I haven't seen the match. I haven't listened to the WOR podcast. This is based simply on that clip. If there's more to it, feel free to call me out on it.) Someone pointed out that it's great that Dave can still find fun and be a fan after all these years and I agree. While there's probably plenty of guys on this board alone that have watched almost as much or as long as Dave has, the fact he can find enjoyment in something that helped contribute to a lot of people who he knew personally dying, developing crippling addictions, committing murder, suicide and various other things is almost bizarre. Everyone has biases and preferences and it's understandable he enjoys the more athletically inclined Japanese styles over the at times formulaic and plastic WWE product. That justification though...add a few "bros" in there and it would sound downright Russo-ian. Those were sub-level 'Shane McMahon beating up Randy Orton' strikes. I find it hard to imagine that if it weren't New Japan that he would bother defending it at all. Did he (hopefully) state "this isn't fake like everything else is" matches, even implied, are uniformly horrible and add nothing positive to the product being promoted?

Cena randomly adds new moves before he stops using them after a few months. It'll probably go the way of that goofy half-nelson neckbreaker, the Throwback, the top rope splash, the monkey flip etc. That or when he gets dropped on his head attempting to do it to Neville.

Since it seems like the office has given up on Rosa Mendes, is Summer Rae going to take her place as the diva that gets randomly paired up with wrestlers only to vanish for months at a time yet still remains "mysteriously" employed? She was probably the worst participant in that legendarily bad Divas match at Survivor Series and has been a non-entity until this Rusev angle (I have to assume they noticed how awful she was being the reasoning behind that.) I'm guessing this pairing lasts through the PPV before she gets banished to Superstars again.

Magnus is a weird case. Got pushed to the moon last year, randomly lost the world title to a mid-card comedy wrestler and and is now leaving a little over a year later.

I'm seriously done with caring. There is no reason why TNA should exist in any form and anyone associated with the company, be it talent, backstage workers or higher-ups, deserve whatever they get when it inevitably shits the bed. When they find themselves jobless and unemployable because they spent 10 years in the most inept wrestling company to exist, everyone should take out their metaphorical dicks and piss on them for wasting our time and their lives.

How much emphasis you place on money doesn't change what is art and what isn't. If I commission an illustrator to create a specific piece, does that make what they paint/draw not art? They're creating it solely for the fee I'm paying them.
