  1. TNT sends Kerry Brown and Duke Myers to Florida. To fill their spots, TNT picks up Tio and Tapu
  2. Gino continues to make waves as he takes Mosca Jr. away from his dad. That Gino is a very shrewd business man. Rocky Kernodle has issues with the Russians but makes it clear he wont be tagging with his brother. White says he has his partner's back and Weaver is more than ready to defend both titles. LOL, Valiant and Cash are some good comic relief. Very chilling promo from Sullivan! Oh man, House of Humperdink vs. Paul Jones Army! I can just see the money. Dusty defeats Kelly but House of Humperdink is always lurking. Boomer Lynch wins the TV title from Purple Haze! Morgan proves to be a worthy partner for Dory as they beat the Briscos!
  3. LOL, Cornette starts the show with a hilarious promo. The laughs stop when Watts shows up and announces the tag title match later on. I like the direction you're taking with Eddie Hogan. He gets a shady win over Kendall to advance then has a funny segment with the champ Hulk Hogan. Speaking of Hulk, the Moondogs put a beating on him. I really like what you're doing here. Both the Moondogs and Islanders will get a great rub by being in the ring with Hogan at Star Wars. Shultz gives another priceless promo as he builds up his match with JYD. JYD comes back with a fired up promo as well. This match will be explosive. Barry defeats DJ, thanks to Hercules. Looking forward to that Herc/DJ TV title match. Well, like Bock said, the Midnight Express did what they had to do and retain. They get some bad news as Watts informs them they'll be facing the Road Warriors at Star Wars! Star Wars is absolutely loaded!
  4. The Saddledome card arrives and brother it delivers! Landel starts the night by taking Leduc to school. Anvil beats Sarge but Sarge turns on him!!! I think Slaughter will draw mega heat as a heel in Canada. Dynamite and Armstrong win the cage match and leave the High Flyers a bloody mess. Martel and Hennig put on a classic. In the end Heenan's actions backfire and Martel scores the win. Well, I think we all knew this was going to happen. Gilbert just couldn't stay focused and in the end the distractions were just to much as Nikita wins with the Sickle! Can Nikita be stopped??? WOW! Anvil beats all odds and wins the Stampede title. Landel was finally caught cheating LOL. Will Landel be gone? Looks like Anvil has a ready made challenge in Slaughter. Road Warriors retain in a wild and hard hitting 3 way match! Sheiks are gone (maybe LOL) and Williams/Fernandez will fight another day. Savage and Hart go at it until Blackwell and Patera come in and put a beating on Savage! Heenan may be a brain after all. Man, they put a hurting on Savage! The long awaited Hogan/Brown match is here! What a match! Brown tries everything but the power of Hulkamania prevails! Once again Patera and Blackwell head to ring but are stopped by Bret Hart!!!!! Hart and Hogan stand tall and leave the fans more than happy. Great job and really appreciate all the hard work you put into this show and it's build.

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Roanne Fieldhouse, Memphis TN 6-28-84 Lance Russell: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of TNT Wrestling here on the USA Network. Tonight's main event will be the self proclaimed real king of wrestling Carl Fergie taking on the Dream Machine. In a rematch from 2 weeks ago, Gino Brito Jr. collides with Richard Charland. Also Johnny Valiant's Blonde Bombers will take on the Stampede Rush. Plus Decimation, Austin Idol, Real Deal makes their tag team debut. Also, Ivan Putski and Tito Santana. Let's get to the ring. 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol vs. Kent Jenkins The fans seem to be cheering Idol. Amazing how much a banter with Tully Blanchard can win over the fans. Idol puts Jenkins down with a back elbow smash. Idol follows with a Shin Breaker then clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock to get the win! The fans cheer as Idol gives them a wink and bicep flex. Idol heads to the podium. Winner- Austin Idol Lance: Ok Idol, it's you and Blanchard for the TV title at Summer Blast 84. Idol: You know Lance baby, Tully came out last week and said I wasn't worthy of a shot. Listen up real good Tully. Come Summer Blast, the Universal Heartthrob is going to put you down daddy and then the TV title comes home with me brother! Commercial Break Real Deal (Scott McGhee/Ricky Vaughn) vs. Sean and Sam Smith Real Deal makes their debut as they come out wearing black vests, black trunks, black knee pads and boots. They make quick tags and use high octane offense as they work the Smith brothers over. The finish comes when Vaughn hits a missile dropkick then tags in McGhee. McGhee executes a German Suplex to get the pin! The fans applaud as Real Deal holds up their fists then head to the podium. Winners- The Real Deal Lance: Very impressive debut for the Real Deal. Boys come on over. Welcome to TNT. How did you come up with the name Real Deal. Vaughn: Thank you Lance. I got to talking with Scott and we both had the same goals in mind. We didn't want a manager talking for us. We didn't want to wear colorful outfits. We wanted to focus on wrestling. McGhee: That's right. We both felt we have been overlooked in our singles careers and knew we each had the desire and focus to be successful in this industry. We feel our talent is there and it's the Real Deal. We just ask the fans to give us a chance and we'll prove it. The fans seem to like it and give them a pop. Commercial Break Highlights are shown from 2 weeks ago when Gino Brito and Richard Charland battled to a double countout. Charland then grabbed Brito by the hair and rammed him into the steel post. Gino Brito Jr. vs. Richard Charland Brito starts off with some fire as he unloads on Charland. Brito body slams Charland, puts his knee on his chest, grabs his hair and just punches away. The Ref counts to 5 and Brito wont stop punching. The Ref has no choice but to signal for the bell and DQ Brito. The Ref finally gets Brito off. A dazed Charland rolls out of the ring and staggers away. Winner by DQ- Richard Charland Lance: Wow! Obviously this situation is not over between Brito and Charland. Speaking of volatile situations. Here's what happened last week after Cocoa Samoa's match. Footage shows the Cuban Assassins attacking Cocoa Samoa and holding him as Ratamyus came to the ring with a chain and hit Cocoa, busting him open, then proceeded to choke him with the chain until the Guerreros came in to stop it. More footage is shown from a house show at the Jackson Coliseum as the Cuban Assassins took on the Guerreros in a wild brawl. In the end, the Ref took a bump, Ratamyus threw his chain to the Cuban Assassins. They hit Mando with a chain double clothesline, then did the same to Hector. The Ref recovered to make the 3 count. Lance: I understand the Guerreros have left TNT following that brutal match. Here's some pre recorded comments from Cocoa Samoa. Cocoa: Ratamyus! I thought I was done with you but NO! You want to bring a chain into this? Fine! I challenge you to a chain match! Believe me brother, next time it will be your blood spilled and next time I'll make sure to finish the job! Commercial Break 'Polish Power' Ivan Putski vs. Gary Williams Putski simply overpowers Williams then swings him to the ropes and finishes him off with the Polish Hammer! The fans cheer as Putski heads to the podium. Winner- Ivan Putski Lance: Impressive win for Ivan Putski. Well Ivan, I've just been informed that you have signed a match for Summer Blast and your opponent will be George the Animal Steele! Ivan: Lance, Steele and I are no strangers to each other. I heard he specifically called me out. That's ok by me because at Summer Blast, Steele will go down courtesy of the Polish Hammer! Commercial Break Pre recorded comments from the AWA World Tag Team Champs, the Road Warriors. Paul Ellering is holding his folded Wall Street Journal by his mouth. Animal: All we've been hearing is Stan Stasiak shooting his big mouth off about his so called tough team Decimation and how they're going to take these titles from us! That's never going to happen! Tell em Hawk! Hawk: Weeeellllll! It seems that every team across the AWA wants a crack at us. All this means for Decimation is that they're the next victims! Decimation w/Stan Stasiak vs. Todd Rooney and Mark Jeffers Decimation toss their opponents all over the ring as Stasiak applauds. Colley swings Jeffers to the ropes and hits a powerslam then tags in Shaw. Shaw swings off the ropes and hits a body splash for the pin! Rooney runs in but Decimation beat him down and hurl him through the ropes. The fans boo as Stasiak raises his men's arms in victory. Winners- Decimation Stasiak cuts a promo and says the Road Warriors can talk tough all they want but he knows they're running scared because they've never met a team with the power of Decimation! Commercial Break Stampede Rush vs. The Blonde Bombers w/Johnny Valiant This one goes back to when Valiant fired Brown and replaced him with Goldie Rogers. After Brown scored a pin on Rogers, he was attacked by Mr. Electricity Steve Regal. Valiant calls Regal and Rogers the Blonde Bombers. Well, Brown called in his old partner Duke Myers to settle this. After some TV brawls here we are. The bell rings and everybody is brawling while Valiant runs out of the ring. Myers is pounding on Regal in one corner while Brown punches on Rogers in the other. They whip the Blondes into each other and follow with forearm blasts. The Ref finally gets control. Brown swings Rogers to the corner and follows with a knee to the mid section. Brown hits several more knees then hip tosses Rogers over. Brown tags in Myers. They swing Rogers to the ropes and put him down with a double back elbow smash. Myers covers 1..2..Regal runs in with a stomp. Brown runs in and punches Regal to the corner. As the Ref is guiding Brown back, Valiant puts a foreign object in Regal's hand. Regal runs over and nails Myers on the back of the head. Rogers puts his arm over Myers. The Ref turns around and counts 1..2..3! Brown runs in but Regal nails him with the foreign object. Regal puts the object in his trunks then helps Rogers out of the ring as Valiant celebrates. Winners- The Blonde Bombers Commercial Break Lance: The tag team competition here in TNT is at an all time high. We all know the Fabulous Ones are the current AWA Southern Tag Champs. I've been asked by Commissioner Larry Hennig to make this special announcement. TNT will be introducing the TNT Tag Team Titles. There will be an 8 team tournament to crown the new TNT champions. More on that in the weeks to come. Right now, please welcome out one of the teams who will be in that tournament, the Kansas Jayhawks. The fans cheer as Dutch and Jaggers come out wearing cowboy hats. The Jayhawks are in the middle of their promo when there's a commotion as Bob Orton and Killer Brooks come out! Lance: Wait a minute, just hold on, we don't want any trouble out here. Brooks: Guess what? Trouble is here! Orton: That's right! We're coming off a hellacious tag title run up in the Pacific and we're going to continue that here in TNT! I'm staring at two wannabe cowboys. If this is the best TNT has to offer then Larry Hennig mine as well hand over the titles to us right now. Orton and Brooks have a good laugh. Bobby and Dutch calmly walk Lance Russell to the side and unload on Brooks and Orton! Fists are flying as a dozen prelim wrestlers come out to break it up. Commercial Break Tito Santana vs. Vic Dutro Tito fires up the crowd as he works Dutro over with hip tosses and dropkicks. Tito puts Dutro away with the flying forearm to get the pin! The fans cheer as Tito heads to the podium. Winner- Tito Santana Lance: Tito, at Summer Blast, it's you and Funk for the TNT title. What do you make of Funk's recent comments? Tito: Lance, I have no idea what Terry Funk is talking about. I've never tried to manipulate anything. I simply helped him out a couple times. I want to make one thing clear. I earned this title shot and at Summer Blast, Terry Funk is going to realize just why. Ariba! Commercial Break Another video is shown of Hercules Ayala with taped fists punching away on a heavy bag hung up on a tree. Ayala stops. Ayala: Atlas! The time is ticking! Your days are numbered! Ayala goes back to punching the bag. Lance: A very intense Hercules Ayala. That taped fist match with Tony Atlas should be a brutal affair. Speaking of brutal, I have to admit my next guests make me a bit nervous. Ratamyus (swinging his chain) and the Cuban Assassins storm the podium as Lance gets out of there. Ratamyus: Cocoa Samoa! You challenge me to a chain match? HAHAHAHA I accept! But you better have eyes in the back of your head because you might not make it to that match. My Cuban Assassins ran those yellow Guerreros out of town and you have no friends left! We are going to brutalize and beat you down until there's nothing left of you! Nothing! Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our main event, next week's show will feature Jumbo Tsuruta, TV Champ Tully Blanchard, Cuban Assassins, Tony Atlas. Big 6 man tag as the AWA Southern Tag Champs The Fabulous Ones team with Denny Brown to take on Mr. Wrestling 2/3 and Steve O. Ok, time for our main event. The Dream Machine vs. 'King' Carl Fergie w/Jimmy Hart Fergie gets a lot of heat as he wears a King's Crown. Him and Hart taunt the fans as they enter the ring. Dream Machine hits the ring and the Ref signals for the bell. Hart bails as Dream unloads on Fergie, swings him to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Dream picks up Fergie and smashes his head on the turnbuckle several times as the fans count along. Dream body slams Fergie, hops up on the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop 1..2..Hart pulls Fergie's foot to the rope and yells at the Ref. The Ref taps Dream and shows him the foot. Dream warns Hart. Dream hoists Fergie up for a suplex but Hart reaches in and trips Dream. Fergie crashes down on top. Hart holds Dream's foot as the Ref counts 1..2..3! Winner- Carl Fergie Hart is jumping up and down then enters the ring and helps Fergie up then raises his arm. WHAM! Dream nails Fergie from behind! Hart's eyes are bulging with fear as Dream grabs him. Thundering boos as George Wells and Honkytonk Man hit the ring! They punch away on Dream then stomp on him. Fergie staggers up and joins in on the 3 on 1 attack. Massive cheers as Jerry Lawler hits the ring (wearing a neckbrace from last week's assault by the Hart Family) Lawler punches away as the fans cheer but the odds are to much. Fergie, Wells and HTM get the upper hand. Dream starts to rise when all of a sudden there's a HUGE ROAR as SUPERSTAR BILL DUNDEE hits the ring!!!! Dundee unloads on HTM and Fergie. Dream runs over and takes Wells down. Lawler staggers up and pounds away on Fergie. Lawler punches Fergie through the ropes, Dream clotheslines Wells over the top rope. Dundee winds up and punches HTM over the top rope! Hart is shocked and cant believe this. The fans are blowing the roof off the place as Lawler, Dream Machine and Superstar Bill Dundee stand tall! Commercial Break The fans are still cheering. Lance: Unbelievable! Superstar Bill Dundee has arrived and is standing here with the Dream Machine and Jerry Lawler. I still cant believe it. Dundee: Jerry, I'm sorry I let the cat out of the bag but I just couldn't stand by anymore and watch the despicable actions of the Hart and his 3 stooges. Jerry: (smiling) Bill, it's quite alright. Ladies and Gentlemen our mystery partner for Summer Blast, Superstar Bill Dundee! The show ends as the fans are still up and cheering! 6. Man, so much going on in Pacific! Boyd is in for himself as he pulls one over on Adonis and the Cowboys and ends up helping the Brigade send them packing. Spoiler gets a big win over Gibson, proving him and Texas Red are serious threats to the tag titles. LOL, gotta love Chicky Starr. Just when you think he's done, he weasels his way to a shady win. Garvin takes advantage of the mishap and gains himself a TV title shot as he defeats Flowers. Trouble brewing between Flowers and Embry. Huge main event that ends with a shock as Slater returns and Borne helps him! They do a brutal number on Billy Jack and Rose loves every minute.
  7. Really liked the tag tournament match ups. Samoans and Rougeaus look to be the favorites but I like the Quinn/Robinson duo. Johnson finishes off Graham with the sleeper as he continues to shine as TV champ. Khan is being built up nicely and gets a big battle royal win. This really adds intrigue to when Andre comes back. Backlund gets the new title belt but Snuka says this feud ISNT over!!! WOW! Magnum and Steele have a brutal match with Magnum coming out on top and sending Steele packing. This win establishes Magnum as a top dog.
  8. Harts make a strong showing. RnR down the Cowboys but it loos like Spoiler and Texas Red are next in line...YES! OH MAN! The Assassins come to town and target the Vachons. This is going to be one wild feud! Adonis takes down Zenk and seems to have a new ally in Boyd. Hickerson gets a little payback on Rose as Billy Jack scores the fall. Cant wait for the Billy Jack/Rose one on one title match. Kev is right, your tag division is stacked!
  9. I agree, Midnight Express and the Von Erichs would get me to the arena. Shultz looked strong defeating Mulligan on the loop. Moondogs and Islanders are becoming title contenders. Love the big 8 man tags as the faces beat the heels to send the fans home happy.
  10. The Mega Powers/Allen-Hart tag match was a great set up for their Saddledome matches. All hell is going to break loose! LOL, love the dissention between Rude and Gilbert over Baby Doll's attention. I agree with Edger, Rude and Baby Doll just fit so well together. I have a feeling all of these distractions will be to much for Gilbert as he faces Nikita. Road Warriors, Fernandez/Williams and the Sheiks have a wild brawl as they get ready to meet in a triple threat match. Ox and Koko look strong as they head into their match with unfinished business. LOL, I could just imagine Martel throwing Heenan all around the ring. Of course this was all a set up but it looks like Martel has some friends of his own willing to help. The Saddledome card has been built up really well. Cant wait!
  11. TNT drops Rick McGraw and picks up Chavo Guerrero. TNT trades Hector, Mando and Chavo Guerrero to Pacific for Adrian Adonis, Bob Orton and Killer Brooks.
  12. TNT puts the Guerreros on the trade block.
  13. A very heated show with some fired up and emotional promos. SECW sure knows how to draw fans to the arenas. Big things on the horizon as new titles will be introduced. LOL, Madril in a wheelchair is classic stuff. The team of Slinker and Rose seem to be gelling well. Oh man, Flair better watch his back with a pissed off Gordy coming after him. Caged Warfare delivers a great night of action. Slinker/Rose/Tojo get some payback. Loving the Hamilton/Rogers/Armstrong/Patterson feud. Tonight the heels win a battle. Only a matter of time before Madril hopped out of his wheelchair. Bass retains but I wonder what Thatcher will say about this. Rat Patrol and Nightmares have been going round and round in awesome gimmick matches. Tonight Rat Patrol take the straps to them. Olympia puts Jones down with the brainbuster! Things get heated between Armstrong and Street as they battle for the LH title. All ends well with a handshake. Freebirds get a strong win over the Jones Army to get back on the winning side of things. Gordy gets the fall and looks to be the next title challenger. Flair regains the title!!!! Even in a cage, Jones still manages to interfere. Flair never lasts long without a title around his waist. I was looking forward to the main event. Road Warriors end things with Kabuki and Kendo with a big cage victory to send the fans home happy. Awesome job!
  14. Great way to bring in Bock! Cant wait to see what you have in store for him. Amazing job with Tiger Conway and the movement. They are quickly becoming top heels. Saito spoils the debut of Adias and advances. Kerry is next to advance with a fun win over Bart. Islanders are in tag title contention. Good grief! The Midnight Express solidify themselves as champs with a brutal victory over the Blackjacks. Of all people to come to the rescue it's Bart and Bass! Cant wait for that match up. Star Wars is shaping up to be the event of the Summer!
  15. This is hilarious!
  16. High Flyers continue to get massive heat but now have to face Dynamite and Armstrong in the cage! LOL, I have to admit, I'm rooting for Landel. I love his character here. Anvil advances over Volkoff as Gilbert and Nikita have a wild brawl. Sarge gets the win over a distracted Rude. Gilbert gets some payback here but better watch out for Rude during his upcoming match with Nikita. Next week's semi finals will be very interesting. Landel vs. a red hot Leduc and Anvil takes on his partner Slaughter!

All roads head to the Liberty Bowl on July 16th as TNT presents Summer Blast 84! Last week Tito Santana defeated Bob Roop to get a TNT title shot at Summer Blast. Tonight, the TNT champ Terry Funk will be in action. Also tonight, Jerry Lawler takes on Hart Family member George Wells. AWA Southern tag champs, the Fabulous Ones will be in the ring. As well as TV champ Tully Blanchard. Austin Idol returns and the 3rd and final match of the Denny Brown/Steve O series. One of those men will face AWA Light heavyweight Champ Brad Armstrong at Summer Blast. Let's get to the ring. The Guerreros vs. Todd Rooney and Dave Wilkins The fans cheer as the Guerreros are back in action as a team. They look sharp tonight as they dominate their opponents with high offensive moves. The end comes when the Guerreros hit a double dropkick for the win! The Guerreros cut a promo at the podium and say they're very happy to be back together and the goal is to win the titles! Commercial Break TV Champ Tully Blanchard vs. Gary Williams Tully looks arrogant as ever and just toys with Williams while taunting the fans. Tully turns it up with several elbow drops before hoisting Williams up and hitting the Sling Shot Suplex for the win! The fans boo as Tully holds the TV title high with a smirk. Stack: Another win for the TV champ. On that note, please welcome out commissioner Larry Hennig. Larry I understand you have an announcement regarding the TV title and Summer Blast. Larry: Thank you Steve and yes I do. At Summer Blast, Tully Blanchard will defend the TV title against this man. Austin Idol walks out as Joan Jett blares on the speakers and heads to the podium. Some boos as the last time we saw Idol, he was heeling it up. Stack: Ok, Austin Idol is back and gets a shot at the TV title. Must feel pretty good. Idol: Sure does Steve. You know, I've been gone awhile and I cant tell you how much I missed that ring baby. Boos as Tully Blanchard comes out. Tully: Once again, I'm totally disrespected! Not only was I not scheduled for an interview but I find out I have to defend my title against this joke. What the hell is going on here? Why does Idol deserve a shot? The last time we saw him, Hulk Hogan put him through the mat. Then he disappears. While all that is happening, yours truly was beating every opponent put in front of him. You're not in my league Idol and don't deserve this shot! Hennig: Tully, you've been an outstanding champ and have had a tremendous reign. I felt with Idol's history here, he deserves the shot. Tully: Then listen up Hennig. I want something out of this! When I beat Idol at Summer Blast, I want a shot at the TNT title! Why? Because I deserve it. Idol: Slow down brother. When you beat me? Let's get something straight, the Universal Heartthrob is back daddy and I plan on taking that title! Tully and Idol get closer but Hennig prevents an altercation. Commercial Break Winner gets AWA LH Title Shot at Summer Blast 'Downtown' Denny Brown vs. Steve O The series is tied 1-1 and this match determines who gets the shot. Steve O offers his hand. After what happened last week, Denny is reluctant but eventually shakes it. The first few minutes is fast paced and back and forth. Both men go all out but keep it clean. Steve gets control and almost gets a pin with a cross body block. Steve body slams Denny, swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Steve goes for a suplex but Denny blocks it and suplexes Steve! Denny regroups. Denny hits a gut wrench suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Denny swings Steve to the ropes and back drops him. Steve staggers up and Denny cradles him 1..2..Kick Out. The fans boo as Mr. Wrestling 2 walks around the ring. Denny is distracted by this. Denny swings Steve into the turnbuckles and charges in but Steve moves. Both men are trying to regroup. The Ref is looking down at Steve. Denny staggers up and swings off the ropes but Wrestling 2 trips him. Denny staggers forward and is nailed by a knee lift from Steve 1..2..3! Massive boos as Steve jumps up and down celebrating. Wrestling 2 enters the ring and raises his arm which elevates the boos. Steve O gets the title shot. Stack: Wrestling 2, Steve O just a minute, what's going on here? Wrestling 2: It's very simple Stack. This man Steve O is a winner. He just needed someone to guide him in the right direction. These idiot fans out here were holding this man back. I can get him on track and I can get him a championship. Ask Mr. Wrestling 3 Jessie Barr. We're going to win the tag titles at Summer Blast and now the One and Only Steve O is going to win the AWA LH title! Steve O: The One and Only! HA, I love it! I've gotten more attention in the last 5 minutes than I have in 2 years and it's because of Mr. Wrestling 2. Thank you. Wrestling 2 and Steve hug as the crowd boos. Stack: Unbelievable Commercial Break Denny Brown is at the podium and Stack says he must be disappointed. Denny: Damn right I am! I came here for a shot at the title and tonight it was taken away. Steve O! You proved you couldn't get the job done and needed help. Wrestling 2! Steve O! This isn't over by a long shot! Stack: An understandably upset Denny Brown. Let's go to the ring. AWA Southern Tag Team Champs The Fabulous Ones vs. The Travis Twins The champs get a huge pop tonight and lot's of love as they walk down the aisle. The champs are on fire tonight and finish off their opponents with a double suplex for the win! The Fabs cut a promo and say They cant wait to defend the gold against Mr. Wrestling 2/3 at Summer Blast. They say Wrestling 2 needs an attitude adjustment and they'll be happy to give it to him. Commercial Break Jumbo Tsuruta w/Stan Stasiak vs. Tim Oliver Stasiak has his man ready for his big AWA World title shot at Summer Blast. Jumbo chops away on Oliver then executes an overhead belly to belly suplex. Jumbo then finishes him off with the Powerbomb 1..2..3! Stasiak yells something at Jumbo. Jumbo nods, grabs Oliver by his hair and hurls him over the top rope! They head to the podium. Stack: Summer Blast 84, Jumbo Tsuruta gets the AWA World title shot against Hulk Hogan. Stasiak: Shut up Stack! The countdown is on. Summer Blast will be a historic night for my men. Decimation are going to destroy those paint face muscle headed freaks to become AWA world tag team champions. This man here, Jumbo Tsuruta is the most devastating wrestler in the world. Hogan has never been in the ring with someone like him. Tsuruta can over power him and out wrestle him. You people are looking at the next AWA world champ! Commercial Break Cocoa Samoa vs. Hank Richards Cocoa is back after that brutal victory over Ratamyus in a Lights Out Match. Cocoa looks good as he drop kicks Richards down. Cocoa body slams Richards, hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a headbutt for the win! Cocoa is celebrating when WHAM! he's nailed from behind by the Cuban Assassins! The Assassins stomp away then hold him as Ratamyus (wearing face paint) enters the ring with a chain! Ratamyus hits Cocoa with the chain, busting him open. Ratamyus starts choking Cocoa with the chain as the fans boo heavily. The fans roar as the Guerreros hit the ring and clean house! The Guerreros check on Cocoa and signal for help. Commercial Break Stack: My goodness. Cocoa was in bad shape. I thought that feud was over but... Ratamyus and the Cuban Assassins (Fidel and Angel) hit the podium. Ratamyus has the chain. Ratamyus: Cocoa Samoa! Did you think this was over? It's over when I say it's over. It felt good to spill your blood once again. Guerreros! You just made a grave mistake! They storm off before Stack can ask any questions. Stack: Obviously this war is going to continue. I know Cocoa is being looked at in the back. We have another video sent in by Hercules Ayala. Video shows Ayala pulling a car uphill! He stops and looks at the camera. Ayala: Atlas! I don't want a wrestling match with you. I want a fight! I want to hurt and punish you! I want a taped fist fight! Do you have the guts? Ayala goes back to pulling the car as the video ends. 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas vs. Clint Curtis Atlas works over Curtis with thrusts followed by a jumping headbutt. Atlas hits the Gorilla Pres Slam followed by a body splash for the pin! The fans cheer as Atlas heads to the podium. Stack asks him about the Ayala video. Atlas: Ayala wants a fight? Boy! You got one! Commercial Break TNT Champ Terry Funk vs. Stu Jersky Funk is aggressive tonight as he works over Jersky with some punches and open hand slaps. Funk hits a Russian Legsweep and follows with a reverse neckbreaker to get the easy pin! Funk holds up his title then heads to the podium. Stack mentions his issues with upcoming challenger Tito Santana. Funk: I told you people over and over again, Tito Santana is not who you think he is. Tito is a sneaky manipulator. And now Tito gets what he wants but be careful Tito because I'm the one you have to beat for this title and like I've said, I'm holding onto this title by any means necessary! Commercial Break Stack runs down next week's show. Austin Idol, Kansas Jayhawks, Decimation and Ivan Putski will be in action. Also, the debut of a new tag team Ricky Vaughn and Scott McGhee known as The Real Deal. The Blonde Bombers will face The Stampede Rush and the Dream Machine will take on King Carl Fergie. Let's go to our main event. Jerry 'The King' Lawler vs. 'Master G' George Wells w/Jimmy Hart Last week we heard the big announcement for Summer Blast as the Hart Family (Fergie, HTM and Wells) will take on Lawler, Dream Machine and a mystery partner in a steel cage match! The bell rings but of course Jimmy Hart stays in the ring yelling at Lawler through his megaphone. Lawler has enough and grabs Hart but Wells nails Lawler and punches away as Hart bails through the ropes. Wells stomps away then chokes Lawler with his boot and rakes it across his face. Wells picks up Lawler and slams him on the top rope. Wells chokes Lawler on the ropes then hoists him up and suplexes him. Wells and Hart are laughing and having a good time. Wells climbs to the top rope but spends to much time yelling at the fans. Lawler gets up and the crowd explodes as he slams Wells off the top rope! Hart gets on the apron. Lawler picks up Wells and swings him into Hart. Well's head hits the megaphone. Lawler rolls Wells up 1..2..3! An exhausted Lawler staggers up and raises his arm in victory. Massive boos as Fergie and the Honkytonk Man hit the ring and put the boots to Lawler. They stomp away. Wells staggers up and joins in. Cheers as Dream Machine hits the ring with fists flying! Hart is still staggering on the outside. Dream fights but 3 on 1 is to much. They hurl Dream out of the ring. HTM lifts Lawler up and puts him down with the swinging neckbreaker. HTM holds a limp Lawler up as Wells leaps off the top rope with a flying shoulder tackle! Fergie then hoists Lawler up and piledrives him down! Jimmy Hart crawls back in the ring and is helped up. The show ends with Hart, HTM, Wells and Fergie standing over an unconscious Lawler holding their arms high and smiling as the fans boo. 18. Good promos from the Sheiks, Manny and Williams for the upcoming triple threat tag title match. OH SNAP! The Mega Powers vs. Hart and Allen will be a mega draw in St. Paul. Robley is confident him and his boys will take out the tough legendary vets. HMMMM, Heenan defiantly has something up his sleeve. He seems way to confident. Rude is in Hot Stuff Inc. Gilbert doesn't like it but they seem to gel well until the end. Nikita-Russian Sickle-Game Over. Gilbert better stay focused on Nikita or he could get it even worse in the Saddledome.
  19. House of Humperdink was causing some havoc until King Kong Bundy showed up! Bundy wins it all! Awesome angle here with the battle royals. Upset of the week has got to go to Lane over Brisco. In the middle of all this, Weaver beats Kernodle for the Atlantic Coast title! Jake the Snake comes to town and DDT's Cash on the outside! Always something happening in Florida!
  20. Lot's of great action going down in the WWF! That Magnum/Steele Lights out match will be epic! Beefcake is out and Black Bart is in. Beefcake might turn into a top face after this. Ventura costs Johnson his match with Superstar. Cant wait for the next Johnson/Ventura match! I can just see Johnson unloading his lightning jabs on Ventura. It took 4 monsters to do it but they break Andre's ankle. They better watch out when the angry Giant comes back! Backlund wins the title!!! After a wild cage match, Backlund barely escapes and walks away the winner. Really loved this chase.
  21. Islanders are on a roll. The Midnight's and Windham's put on some great matches. OH MAN! Talk about a blockbuster main event! Fans got their money's worth on that match.
  22. SECW keeps the June Jam momentum going! Things are going to another level with Cooley and Madril. Madril pulls a big stunt to barely escape with his title. The mystery of the masked Thunderbolt is solved! Paterson taking off his mask was a great TV moment. LOL, Hamilton is revealed at the house show after Scott regains the Jr. Championship. All around great angle. Super Ninja is revealed as Ron Slinker. Slinker is fired up now. Nightmares get revenge on the Rat Pack in a tar and feather match but as we saw at Tag War, this feud is far from over. Mike Jackson had a pretty good week. Kendo and Kabuki are becoming more and more dangerous which really sets up their cage match with the Road Warriors as something huge. Jones Army seems to have gotten the best of the Freebirds this week but I know the Birds will be back with a vengeance. Bullet Bob finds a great replacement for Brad in Mr. Olympia as they put down Stomper and Humungous.
  23. Oh man, I know Fuji wasn't happy with Super Ninja taking the fall and he shows it after the match. Classic Southern mixed person 6 man tag with the faces prevailing. I'm really liking the Cooley/Madril feud and looks like we're going to get more. LOL! I can just picture the Nightmares new look. That's a fun booking angle. Freebirds and Jones Army continue their heated feud. It's always strange seeing Flair without a title. WOW! Bullet Bob gets a BIG win over Humungous to retain.
  24. Cant wait for the next Herc/Peterson match! Talk about hard hitting. Nice qualifying matches as Jay Youngblood looks good over the Nightmare and Jimmy Jam defeats Houston. Jimmy Jam and Precious are back home. JYD and Dr. D at Star Wars! YES! That will draw nothing but money. LOL, Cornette has a fit as it's announced the Blackjacks get another shot, this time in a tornado match. Those Blackjacks do pretty well in those types of matches. HUGE UPSET! Little brother Kendall comes in and defeats Murdoch on TV! Needless to say, Kendall just got over quick with the fans.
  25. Solid opening round matches on TV. Love Landel! Rude advances but Heenan seems to be more focused on Bad News and his upcoming match with Hogan. Big Jim impresses with a win over Ox. Neidhart advances with a hard hitting win over Sweetan. High Flyers continue to get massive heat and gets involved in the big LH title rematch. Would love to see Brad and Dynamite take on the High Flyers.
