LOL, I agree with Gene. I'm loving Gagne and his Goons heel run here. Even the Russians sided with them! Talk about nuclear heat. Very interested in watching where the Harts show up. I cant even imagine what will happen in the Nikita/Gilbert finals. Bad News continues to make threats. Where is Hogan? What will Verne say? Love this feud.

Card is stacked! Something for everybody. Cant wait!

Star Wars was one EPIC event! You really booked the card well and the writing was tremendous. DJ Peterson gets over quick with a battle royal win and taking Herc to a draw. Dynamite retains in a solid showcase against Brett Wayne. Islanders and Moondogs give the fans a wild brawl. This could be a great mid card feud. Houston frustrates Shultz but Shultz comes back with a vengeance to get the win. Duk and Saito establish themselves as serious threats with that huge win over the Youngbloods. Akbar's fireball backfires and JYD takes advantage to retain the title against Studd. A new story begins as an angry Studd puts Akbar down! Road Warriors come to the big event and walk away with another successful title defense over the Russians. Windham and Murdoch put on another classic but this time Murdoch comes out on top. Murdoch and Shultz could be great challengers for JYD. WOW! Blackjacks win the titles! Nice touch having Geigel come out and make it a No DQ tornado match. AWA World Champ Hulk Hogan retains against OMG as he hits him with the almighty leg drop! WHOOOO! What a main event! That match was full of drama and excitement! Von Erichs win the war and send the Freebirds packing. I wondered about Flair at the end but looks like he savored the moment with the Von Erichs and will come back to Texas another day. Great job!

Things are at an all time high as Pacific heads into the Seattle Showdown. Looks like the Young Guns, Rotunda, Zenk, Perez and Spivey have figured out that strength in numbers is the way to go here. Texas Red is defiantly the break out star in Pacific. Really like the feud going between the Japanese wrestlers. Adds something unique to the shows. Speaking of feuds, the Vachons/Zambuie feud has been a wild one and a loser leaves town match will put a cap on it. LOL, Larry Z's luck sure has changed with Nord around. Adding Chicky Starr to your roster was a brilliant move. Eventually, Chicky could give Rose some competition for the top heel spot. Haynes, Adams and Borne have the momentum going with that big win over the Rose Army but I have a feeling Rose and Co. have something planned for the Seattle Showdown.

Dirty White Boys officially become number 1 contenders! Going to be cool watching them match up with Fuller and Golden. Oh man, Rogers wins the US Jr. title as a mysterious (LOL) mask man hits Armstrong with a coke bottle! WOW! Fuji's men Kendo and Kabuki take things to another level with that beatdown. Cooley's streak continues as he puts down Garvin. Fuller and Golden send the Assassins packing. Awesome Light heavy match that steals the show. I think we're going to get a rematch after that slap. Wild 6 man main event. Bullet Bob might of earned himself another title shot after scoring the pin on Flair. Humungous and Haystacks are heading for a colossal showdown.
-
The promos once again set the tone for the show. These promos have really gotten the wrestlers over. Like the Yatsu/Backlund alliance. Yatsu could become something big here. WOW! Fleming and Horowitz prove they're not flukes as they get a huge win over the B's! Great story going here. Cool seeing SD Jones get a rub by teaming with Magnum and Patterson and getting the win. Johnson retains against the legendary Stevens, solidifying Johnson as a true champ. Backlund and Snuka's feud continues to elevate. This is going to be one money making headlining feud. Damn! The Samoans do a number on Bravo as he's stretchered out. Samoans will get tremendous heat from this.
-
Fuji's Super Ninja comes in and gets a big win over Brickhouse. Looks like the Nightmares/Rich-Armstrong will be fighting for that number 1 contenders spot. Dirty White Boy wins a battle against Street but I'm sure Street will come back for more. Wow! Fuji takes over control of Kabuki and Kendo. I think Tojo will have nothing but revenge on his mind. Wendell continues to roll as Mississippi champ. Fuller and Golden put the Assassins away. Paul Jones troubles continue as they drop a match to Armstrongs and Haystacks.
-
Very cool concept here. Gave the fans a lot of unique match ups (Shultz vs. Roberts, Von Erich vs. Windham). Always fun to shake things up.

Solid TV as things are set up for the big June 16th card. Fantastics put it all on the line for one last shot with the Long Riders. Will the Fantastics finally pull it off? Heel Muraco and babyface Taylor have impressive debuts. Both men will make an impact here. Afi has a new man in Saito. Afi is building up quite a stable. I've said this before but I love how you're utilizing Afi. Oh man, I wonder who Rich is bringing in? Reed continues to be one of my favorite champs in this game. What an ending! Sawyer and Ole don't want Rich to make it to that big tag match as they really do a number on him. OH NO! New National Champ! Right after I compliment Reed's reign LOL. Parsons might have some more explaining to do an that one. Looks like Sawyer and Rich will now be feuding over the National title. Liked that Brody/Hansen-Sheik/Koloff match. Also, good seeing Heaven's Angels get a win. Kiniski/Bassarab could be a breakout team in Georgia.
-
Stu says his boys will be back and now is slowly getting involved. Things are getting to a boiling point. LOL, Ox talking smack about the Road Warriors then backs down when they come out. I cracked up when Brown said all he saw was a blonde hair man running to his car. Bad News makes the demands as he challenges Hogan to a anything goes match! This is one of my favorite feuds in the game. Gagne and his AWA boys get some heat. Stu makes the cage match announcement and will be handcuffed to Rheingans! Cant wait to see what happens. Fantastic main event as the Bulldogs beat Koko and Sugar to earn themselves a shot at the Road Warriors. Bulldogs might give the Roadies a run for their money.
-
Great set up show for Star Wars! Brett Wayne gets a solid debut win as he tunes up for a shot at the Light Heavy title. Duk and Saito play huge spoilers as they beat up the Battens in their debut. Akbar's team seem more than ready for the Youngbloods. OMG continues his path of destruction and Hogan is the next obstacle. That will be one hard hitting contest. Percy and Herc are more than confident heading into Star Wars to face the winner of the battle royal. I really like the Blackjacks one more ride storyline. Can they beat Bass and Bart for the titles? Barry gets a win over the new Tiger Conway. I hope Tiger gets a bit of push. I like his new character here. And then we get probably the biggest surprise in WCCW's history as RIC FLAIR announces he's teaming with the Von Erich's!!!!!! Man, what a TV moment! Star Wars is going to be epic!!! Your build to the event has guaranteed an enormous crowd.
-
Rotunda shows up and looks impressive. Damn, that Adonis DDT on Morton was devastating. Haynes might be in serious trouble with Rose and others gunning for him. Chicky Starr makes an immediate impact as he helps his cousin get a shady win over Garvin. Texas Red continues to wreak havoc with his heart punch, this time sending Jacques out on the stretcher. Piper bringing out the Vachons was a huge WOW moment! Piper couldn't of picked better partners to battle Bundy and the Zambuie Express.

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Roanne Fieldhouse, Memphis TN, 5-24-84 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of TNT wrestling here on the USA network. Big show lined up as Jerry Lawler and the Dream Machine will take on Jimmy Hart's Honkytonk Man and George Wells in our main event. The AWA Southern tag team champs Tony Atlas and Hercules Ayala will be in action. We'll also hear from Nick Bockwinkel and Bob Roop and I have some questions for those gentleman regarding last week's match between Bockwinkle and Santana. I'll also be speaking to the TNT champ himself, Terry Funk. Let's get to the ring. Chavo Guerrero vs. Gary Williams The fans are 100% behind Chavo as he tunes up for his upcoming TV title match with Tully Blanchard on June 7th. Chavo hip tosses Williams and follows with a drop kick. Chavo executes a vertical suplex then goes to the top rope. Williams staggers up and Chavo hits a missile dropkick for the pin! The fans cheer as Chavo heads to the podium. Lance: Chavo, last week you lasted 10 minutes with Tully and now you have yourself a TV title match on June 7th. You must be feeling pretty good. Chavo: Lance, It feels great! I proved a ….. Boos as Tully comes out in a suit, holding the TV title. Tully: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Why is this guy getting all the attention? The fact is, he caught me a bit off guard and even though I wasn't at my best, this jerk still couldn't beat me. (Tully takes a swipe at Chavo's face) Look at me boy! Do you really think you can beat me for my title? Chavo: Yes I do! Chavo slaps Tully, then hurls him into the ring! Chavo swings Tully to the ropes and back drops him. Tully bounces out of the ring as the fans go wild! Commercial Break Mr. Wrestling 2/3 vs. Todd Rooney and Mike Sampson Last week, Wrestling 2 bestowed the title of Mr. Wrestling 3 and the mask to Jessie Barr. Wrestling 3 showcases his scientific wrestling as he just toys with Sampson. Sampson tags in Rooney as Wrestling 3 tags in 2. Wrestling 2 works over Rooney then body slams him. Rooney staggers up and Wrestling 2 nails him with the million dollar knee lift then tags in 3. Wrestling 3 executes a northern lights suplex for the pin! The fans boo as Wrestling 2/3 arrogantly raise their arms in victory. Lance: Wrestling 2 and 3 look impressive in their debut and look to rise the ranks of TNT's tag team division. I've just been informed that Wrestling 2 and 3 will face the Kansas Jayhawks on June 7th. Speaking of teams, the Fabulous Ones are set for a tag team title shot on June 7th. Gentleman, I have to ask, how does that loss to Decimation last week affect your momentum? Lane: Not one bit. Decimation needed a loaded towel to take us out because Stasiak knew his goons couldn't beat us fair. Keirn: Exactly right and that's something we wont have to worry about against the champs. Atlas and Ayala are respectable champions and the match will be fair all the way. The best team will win and we plan on walking out with the titles. Commercial Break Steve O vs. Thomas Tillman Steve body slams Tillman and follows with a knee drop. Steve swings Tillman to the ropes and hits a cross body press for the pin! The fans cheer as Steve heads to the podium. Lance: Steve, I have some great news for you. Commissioner Larry Hennig has confirmed that TNT is bringing in one of the top light heavyweights in the world, Denny Brown. Larry made it official, you and Denny will compete in a best 2 out of 3 series and the winner will get an AWA Light heavyweight title match at the big Summer Blast card in July. Steve: I couldn't be happier. I've been on a roll in TNT and if I have to get through Denny Brown to get that title shot then that's exactly what I'm going to do! Commercial Break 'The Real Blonde Bomber' Goldie Rogers w/Johnny Valiant vs. William Hillman Valiant and Rogers get some good heat as they taunt the fans. They're stalling and having a great time until WHAM! Kerry Brown nails Rogers from behind with a clothesline! Valiant is shocked and begs for mercy. Brown grabs Valiant by his shirt, winds up and drops him with a big right fist. Rogers staggers up but Brown grabs him, swings him to the ropes and sends him out of the ring with a high knee! The fans explode as Brown pumps his fists. Commercial Break Lance: WOW! Kerry Brown sends a strong message to Valiant and Rogers as they get ready to meet on June 7th in Louisville. Well speaking of Louisville, my guests will be apart of that card. Nick Bockwinkle will face the TNT champ Terry Funk and after what transpired last week, Bob Roop will go one on one with Tito Santana. Gentleman, just what is your alliance all about? Roop: It's about opportunity. Plain and simple. Bock: It is really that simple. On June 7th I will regain the TNT title and when I do, my first title defense will be against the well deserving Bob Roop. Roop: And Santana, don't think you're going to stand in my way boy. The fans cheer as Terry Funk comes out! Funk: Just who the hell do you stooges think you are? I'm Terry Funk! I'm the TNT champ! I'm not some afterthought. Bockwinkle! I beat you for this title when I piledrove you through a chair. I'm tough and I'm crazy and on June 7th all this craziness is going to be unleashed on you Bockwinkle! Roop sneaks behind Funk and nails him from behind! Bock and Roop put the boots to Funk. The crowd goes wild when Tito Santana storms out and unloads on Roop! Santana and Roop are trading blows as Bock goes to help Roop. Funk staggers up and nails Bock. All four men are brawling as the fans go nuts. Commercial Break Jumbo Tsuruta w/Stan Stasiak vs. Vic Dutro Jumbo is all over Dutro with a variety of suplexes. Jumbo pushes Dutro into the corner and chops him down as Stasiak yells encouragement. Jumbo hip tosses Dutro over and nails him with a knee strike. Jumbo picks up Dutro and drops him with a Powerbomb for the pin! Decimation joins Stasiak and Jumbo at the podium. Stasiak: Look at these monsters of mayhem! There's not a tag team in the entire AWA that can match up with Decimation and in July at SummerBlast, you people will watch them take out the so called most devastating team in wrestling. Road Warriors! You will be destroyed and the titles will be ours! Now as for the international wrestling superstar Jumbo Tsuruta. It's a crime how he's been overlooked here in TNT. The man is undefeated! So we're going straight to the top. Listen up Verne Gagne. Jumbo wants a AWA world title match! And what we want, we take! Commercial Break AWA Southern Tag Champs Tony Atlas and Hercules Ayala vs. Chip Stevens and Royce Randal Champs look sharp as they swing Stevens to the ropes and put him down with a double back elbow smash. Atlas presses Stevens over his head and slams him down then tags in Ayala. Ayala picks him up and clamps on the bear hug then rams Stevens into the turnbuckles and belly to belly suplexes him over for the pin! The champs cut a promo and say they respect the Fabulous Ones but on June 7th in Louisville, they're the ones walking out with the titles! Commercial Break 'Quick Draw' Rick McGraw vs. Paul Casper McGraw is aggressive tonight as he rakes Casper's eyes, kicks him in the mid section and gut wrench suplexes him over. McGraw hits a backbreaker then rolls Casper over and clamps on the Boston Crab to get the submission win! McGraw keeps wrenching away then releases the hold and gives Casper a couple more stomps before exiting the ring and going towards the podium. Lance: Rick, you take on your former partner Ivan Putski on June 7th. He had some choice words for you last week. McGraw: Just stand back and keep your mouth shut Lance. First of all, I couldn't even understand a word that buffoon said last week. The language barrier was a big problem when we were teaming. After all these years here, you would think he could speak better English. Putski! I cant wait to put you to pasture. I should be wrestling for a shot at the Light heavyweight title but instead I'm wasting my time with a washed up loser. Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our main event, I want to show you this video piece that was put together highlighting the Cocoa Samoa/Ratamyus feud. A montage is shown of Ratamyus brutally attacking Cocoa and getting suspended. Cocoa is shown defeating Sheik Ali Hassan and then is attacked again by Ratamyus. Cocoa issues the challenge. On June 7th, they will meet in a Non Sanctioned Lights Out Match! Commercial Break Jerry 'The King' Lawler and The Dream Machine vs. The Honkytonk Man and 'Master G' George Wells w/Jimmy Hart The bell rings and Jimmy Hart hightails it out of the ring as Lawler and Dream attack HTM and Wells! Lawler hammers away on HTM in the corner while Dream punches away on Wells in the opposite corner. They swing Wells and HTM into each other. Wells and HTM stagger and spin around and Lawler and Dream put them down with big punches. The Ref gets order as Hart is having a meltdown on the outside and yelling into his megaphone. Dream swings Wells to the ropes and hits a back elbow smash then swings off the ropes and drops an elbow 1..2..HTM breaks it. Lawler runs in and sends HTM flying into the turnbuckles with a right punch. Dream body slams Wells and tags in Lawler. Lawler swings Wells to the ropes and back drops him. Lawler body slams Wells, hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a fist drop 1..2..HTM stomps on Lawler to break it. Dream runs in and clotheslines HTM. Lawler tags in Dream. Dream swings Wells to the ropes and clotheslines him, then swings off the ropes but HTM knees him in the back. Wells staggers up and puts Dream down with a running shoulder block then tags in HTM. HTM stomps away on Dream then pushes him into the corner. Wells chokes Dream while HTM puts the boots to him as Hart cheers them on through his megaphone. HTM grabs Dream and executes a Russian Legsweep 1..2..Lawler with the save. Wells runs in and him and Lawler have a furious exchange. The Ref gets control. HTM swings Dream to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Dream kicks him then dives over and tags in Lawler. The fans go wild as Lawler grabs HTM by his hair and punches away. Wells runs in but Lawler punches him, then grabs both of their heads and smashes them together. Wells rolls out of the ring. Lawler lowers the strap! Lawler punches away on HTM. Wells runs back in the ring but Dream tackles him and punches away. Lawler hoists HTM up for the piledriver but Jimmy Hart runs in and hits Lawler on the back of the head with his megaphone! The Ref sees this and signals for the bell and DQ. HTM staggers up. Dream is on top of Wells and punching away. HTM runs over and drops a knee on Dream. Wells regroups and climbs to the top rope and drops a knee on Dream. HTM lifts up Lawler and executes the swinging neckbreaker! Hart is jumping up and down celebrating. Commercial Break Commissioner Larry Hennig is with Lance. Hennig: Lance, I said wrestlers would handle their problems in the ring so I've decided to add a couple matches to the Louisville card on June 7th. George Wells will take on the Dream Machine and the Honkytonk Man will face Jerry Lawler. Oh yea, and Jimmy Hart will be banned from both matches! The show goes off the air as the fans cheer while Jimmy Hart runs out and throws a tantrum. TNT @ The Louisville Gardens, June 7th TNT Title Bout Terry Funk (C) vs. Nick Bockwinkle AWA Southern Tag Title Bout Tony Atlas and Hercules Ayala (C) vs. The Fabulous Ones TV Title Bout Tully Blanchard (C) vs. Chavo Guererro Jerry 'The King' Lawler vs. The Honkytonk Man Tito Santana vs. Bob Roop Dream Machine vs. 'Master G' George Wells Kerry Brown vs. 'The Real Blonde Bomber' Goldie Rogers w/Johnny Valiant 'Polish Power' Ivan Putski vs. 'Quick Draw' Rick McGraw Kansas Jayhawks vs. Mr. Wrestling 2/3 NON SANCTIONED LIGHTS OUT MATCH Cocoa Samoa vs. Ratamyus

I like this territory split. Verne and Stu are playing nice right now but for how long? The Young Lions tournament is winding down and it looks like we might get a Nikita/Gilbert final. That match will be very interesting. Gibson gets a debut win over Crazy Luke but Luke has aligned himself with Robley and Bass as they beat down Gibson. LOL, I like this trio. What an ending! Heenan tries to pull some tricks but Williams and Fernandez stop the Sheiks. Savage puts Heenan down! I'm all for more Savage/Hart matches.
-
Superstar makes a challenge to Dibiase! That cage match is going to be MONEY! Great seeing Harley here. He seems rejuvenated and wants back in the title picture. Really like Scott Hall's build here. Man, the Andersons and Sawyer are going to be hard to contend with. Looking forward to watching Bassarab and Kiniski working together. OH SNAP!!!! Hansen and Brody are together! Watch out! Reed continues his awesome title reign on the loop. That Rich/Sawyer 40 minute cage match would of been awesome.
-
The mystery continues to unfold as the Briscos admit their involvement. Man I cant wait to find out who's behind all this. I like the Boomer/Rufus storyline. Looks like Rufus was set up. Kevin Kelly better be careful now that he's getting involved in the House of Humperdink's business. Solid TV main event as Dusty puts "The best" down with the bionic elbow. WOW! A couple of title changes as Purple Haze wins the TV title and Gino wastes no time and wins the Florida championship! Also, how about Mike Davis with that huge upset over Dory Funk. Cuban Assassin is on a roll in Florida.

SECW continues to stay red hot! The big news-The return of Bullet Bob!!! So surreal seeing Bob tag with Hogan. It's things like this that make this game so much fun. Dirty White Boy and The Exotic One will be a fun feud. Not to be overshadowed by Bullet Bob's return but out of nowhere comes Mr. Fuji as he helps Kabuki and Kendo beat the Midnight Express! A weekend full of returns as Brad Armstrong saves Mr. Olympia from what could of been a brutal beating from Jake. Fuller and Golden continue to roll with a win over Garvin and Rogers. I would love to see the Road Warriors come to town and defend against Fuller and Golden. Wild ending to the SE title match as Brad, Steve and Johnny Rich go toe to toe with the Paul Jones Army. Cant wait for a Flair/Bullet rematch. Hogan puts down Loch Ness! Paul Jones is going to need his army now that he angered the monster. Always something happening in SECW!
-
Once again love the format as the promos really set the tone of the show. LOL, that Backlund promo was priceless. Fleming and Horowitz are quietly stacking up some wins. Andre in a battle royal always guarantees a huge crowd. The first WWF house show I ever went to was Andre winning a battle royal. Good times. Johnson and Magnum prove to have some great chemistry. What a moment with Andre and Hogan. Absolutely love the seeds planted here. Hogan with a vintage title defense over the Animal. The Backlund/Snuka feud kicks up a notch as Yoshi and Two Eagles are added to the equation. Great way to get these guys over. Poor Rougeaus. The Samoans beat them down just before they have to wrestle the most devastating team in wrestling. Hopefully we get a rematch down the road. Great job!
-
WOW! What a wild show! That might of been the best opening to a show I've ever read. Freebirds absolutely destroy Madril! This is exactly what the Birds needed to reestablish themselves as the top heels. Glamour Boys look good in their TV debut. Liked that explanation for Yoshi's departure. Russians issue a challenge to the Road Warriors. That will be one hard hitting match up. It's official JYD vs. Studd! YES! Shultz is GOLD! Awesome promo and then follows it up with an attack on the debuting Houston. Just a great segment. Oh man the Blackjacks are back for one last ride! Fantastic job!
-
Nice set of matches. I like how you keep Cooley hot. He looks good in losses to Flair and also stays strong with his Mississippi title defenses. Midnight Express show how brutal they can be by sending Pogo out on a stretcher. Giant Haystacks has some serious momentum going as he heads into his match with Hogan with a win over Stomper. Star studded main event as Fuller and Golden get the DQ win over Flair and Snake.
-
Great to see Zenk pop up. I really liked what you did with him in the 83 Project so I'm looking forward to watching this build. Awesome seeing the Vachons wrecking havoc. Al Perez makes a solid debut. Rose and Hickerson polish off McGhee and leave him hurting. LOL, Larry Z actually gets the best of his opponents (with help from Nord) and sends Jim and Valiant packing. Still loving the Borne/Slater matches You've done another amazing job of building a young star, this time with Texas Red. RnR continue their strong reign with a great win over the East West Connection. Piper has things going his way with Bundy until the Zambuie Express show up. Good grief, Bundy teaming with the Zambuie Express! Piper better bring in some big guns! Luck runs out for the Rose Army as Billy Jack puts Rose down and looks to be the next title challenger.

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Junction, San Antonio TX 5-17-84 Stack: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of TNT Wrestling right here on the USA network. Huge show lined up as Nick Bockwinkel will wrestle Tito Santana for a shot at the TNT title on June 7th in Louisville. Also, Chavo Guerrero will take on TV champ Tully Blanchard. If Chavo lasts 10 minutes he will get a title shot on June 7th. Also tonight, Decimation will take on the Fabulous Ones. And the TNT champ himself, Terry Funk will be in action. I want to bring out Jerry Jarrett. Last week we saw Ratamyus return and brutally attack Cocoa Samoa then proceeded to put his hands on you, Jerry. Jerry, I know you were shaken up and I'm glad to see you're doing well. Jarrett: Thank you Steve. It was a terrifying moment and I want to make it clear, Ratamyus was in fact suspended again. We will hear some pre recorded comments from Cocoa Samoa a little later. This week I was doing a lot of thinking and I've decided to appoint a commissioner here in TNT. This man will call the shots. Please welcome the new commissioner, Larry 'The Axe' Hennig! The fans cheer as Larry walks out and lifts his fist to them. Jarrett: I feel I couldn't of made a better pick. The time is yours Larry. Larry: Thank you Jerry. It's no secret my in ring career was coming to an end but I still want to be a part of this great business so when Jerry made this offer, well I just couldn't resist. Now, I'm not here to hamstring the wrestlers. If they have issues and scores to settle, I assure you, they will be settled in the ring. Stack: Ok, big news as Larry Hennig is the acting commissioner of TNT. Fans, lets go to the ring as the champ is ready for action. TNT Champ Terry Funk vs. Clint Walker Funk chops away on Walker in the corner then hits a Russian Leg Sweep. Funk follows with a Piledriver to get the easy pin. The fans cheer as Funk holds the title high then heads to the podium. Stack: Well Terry, on June 7th you will be defending your title against either Santana or Bockwinkel. Funk: Steve Stack, I've told you a thousand times, I don't care which egg sucking dog wins the match cuz it don't matter. Neither one of them is going to take this title away from me. You got that! Commercial Break Bob Roop vs. Todd Rooney Roop made his debut last week and he's ready for more action tonight as he hammers away on Rooney. Roop puts Rooney in a hammer lock then rams his shoulder on the turnbuckle. Roop hoists Rooney up and hits a Shoulder Breaker for the pin! The fans boo as Roop heads to the podium. Roop: I made it clear last week that I want a title match and.... The fans boo as Nick Bockwinkel walks out. Roop stares at him. Bock whispers something to him. Roop and Bock then walk away, leaving Steve Stack puzzled. Commercial Break TV Champ Tully Blanchard vs. Chavo Guerrero- If Chavo lasts 10 minutes, he gets a title shot Tully struts around the ring with an arrogant smirk. They lock up and Tully pushes Chavo into the ropes. At the break, Tully slaps Chavo. An irate Chavo charges but Tully backpedals and slides to the outside. Tully spends a lot of time bantering with the fans. Tully gets on the apron and Chavo charges and pounds away then suplexes Tully back into the ring 1..2..Kick Out. Chavo is all over Tully with hip tosses, drop kicks and back drops. Chavo swings Tully to the corner and charges in but Tully lifts his knees as Chavo nails them head on. Tully regroups and takes charge. Tully body slams Chavo and drops several consecutive elbows 1..2..Kick Out. It's announced 7 minutes has gone by. Tully swings off the ropes and lands with a delayed knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Tully hops up on the middle ropes and hits a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Tully totally berates the Ref. Tully grabs the top rope and drops several knees, follows with a gut wrench suplex 1..2..Kick Out! The fans are cheering Chavo on as Tully throws a tantrum. Tully goes for the Sling Shot Suplex but Chavo blocks it and hits a jaw breaker! Both men are down and trying to regroup. Tully wobbles up, grabs Chavo and swings him to the ropes. Tully bends down for a back drop but Chavo sunset flips over him 1..2..Kick Out. Chavo body slams Tully then hops up on the middle ropes. Tully staggers up and Chavo nails him with a flying dropkick, ding, ding, ding. The 10 minutes has expired! Chavo lasted the time! The fans roar as Chavo realizes he did it. Chavo pumps his fists and jumps up and down as Tully rolls out of the ring. Tully tries to stand by stumbles back down. Commercial Break Stack: What a moment! Chavo Guerrero has earned himself a TV title shot on June 7th. Fans, my guests at this time are Johnny Valiant and the Blonde Bomber Kerry Brown. Johnny, I understand you have a few things to say. Valiant: That's right so just sit back and let me do the talking! (Looks at Kerry) Kerry, you not only embarrassed me once but twice! You let that big dope Dan Spivey beat you not once but twice! There's no room here for losers. You my friend do not deserve the Blonde Bomber name anymore! Kerry: Whoa, hold on, what the hell are you talking about? Those loses are nothing I cant bounce back from. Valiant: Nope, sorry, it's to late. I've found another man who's a lot more worthy to carry the blonde bomber name. Let me introduce to you, Goldie Rogers! Goldie comes out and levels Kerry from behind with a clothesline! Goldie puts his foot on Kerry's back, smiles and poses as Valiant applauds. Commercial Break The show comes back and Bobby Jaggers is at the podium. Jaggers: You know Steve, my good buddy called me up a couple of weeks ago and asked me about getting together for another round. I told him HELL YES! That good buddy is none other than Dutch Mantel! Dutch comes out as the fans cheer. Dutch: That's right! The Kansas Jayhawks are back in action and brother we're going for some gold! Kansas Jayhawks vs. Vic Dutro and Gary Williams Jayhawks are decked out in full cowboy gear. Jaggers has his bull rope and Dutch has his whip. Jayhawks are all over their opponents. They finish off Williams with a double clothesline for the pin! Dutch grabs his whip and snaps it while Jaggers swings his bull rope. Commercial Break Man Mountain Link vs. Neil Casper On commentary, Steve puts over this monster as he makes his TNT debut. Link slams Casper down hard, swings off the ropes and hits a big splash 1..2..Link lifts Casper's head up as the fans. Link hoists Casper up and hits a running powerslam 1..2..3! The fans boo as Link hoists Casper up again and executes another powerslam! Stack: Wow! Man Mountain Link comes to TNT and right off the bat makes a dangerous impact. Fans, I want to bring in a true wrestling great who's arrived in TNT. Please welcome Mr. Wrestling 2! The fans cheer as Wrestling 2 walks out wearing his mask and suit. He's also carrying a mask. Wrestling 2: Steve, I wish I could say it was a pleasure to be here but I just cant. The state of affairs in the AWA and wrestling in general has me sick to my stomach. I've decided to do something about it. This mask I'm holding is reserved for a very special individual, somebody worthy enough to carry on the Wrestling tradition. Let me introduce to you, Jessie Barr! Barr walks out in a suit as the fans boo. Wrestling 2: Jessie, this mask is now yours and it is my honor to bestow upon you the name Mr. Wrestling 3! Barr: It will be an honor and privilege to uphold the Wrestling name. It's time this poor excuse for a wrestling territory actually had some quality wrestling. Jessie Barr puts on the mask. Wrestling 2 holds up his arm as the fans boo. Commercial Break The Fabulous Ones vs. Decimation w/Stan Stasiak On commentary, Steve reminds the fans that the Fabs will get a AWA Southern Tag Title match on June 7th while Decimation will receive an AWA World Tag Title match in July at the big Summer Blast Spectacular. This match stems from Decimation beating down the Fabs after their number one contender's match. The match starts with a brawl! The Fabs send Shaw out of the ring with a double drop kick then send Colley over the top rope with a double clothesline! Stasiak runs over to regroup his team. Fabs control the early portion with quick tags and double team maneuvers. The tide turns when Shaw hits Lane with a forearm to the back of the head from the apron. The re debut of Stampede arrives! The Hogan/Bad News feud is red hot. Mutoh and Gilbert pull out wins in the Young Lions tournament as it's announced the finals will be on Canada Day. The biggest surprise for me was the AWA guys Rheinghans and the High Flyers attacking the Harts. WOW! Did not see that coming. Looks like we might be heading into a territory war. Only a matter of time before both Verne and Stu explode.

The Graham/Valentine saga continues. This has been full of intrigue and I cant wait until the mystery is solved. House of Humperdink goes from one maniac to another. Konga and Link will be a war. I wonder what Boomer Lynch is up to? Dusty and Kernodle take a beating from Kabuki and Haze! Things in Florida are at an all time level of chaos. I love it! On the loop, Sullivan beats Valentine with the Spike and Graham doesn't DQ him! More intrigue. Valentine comes back the next night and enlists Dory. Him and Dory take out Orndorff and Rhodes. Mike Davis gets some shine winning that battle royal. Oh man Elizabeth takes a fireball! Link will be on a revenge rampage!

With tensions rising between Verne and Stu, the big Canada Day card should be on epic event! Very interested in watching the Bad News/Hogan/Verne title hostage storyline play out. Love the addition of the Stampede title and alternating shows. It will be interesting watching certain pushes in certain territories.
