  1. These house shows must be bringing in some serious cash. Really like the Pride/Sullivan feud. Good idea! Good to see the South Pacific Connection together again and gelling well. Whatley's playing with fire. Looks like Embry has a challenge ahead with Steve Doll. OMG is getting one heck of a push. Well deserved. Karachi Vice might be in title contention after that big win over the Fort Bragg Brotherhood. The fans get a wild conclusion with 2 multi tag matches. Tribal Nation takes the Dungeon of Doom to a chaotic no contest. Funks sure found one tough ally in Slater. Can't wait for the JJF/Chicky showdown. Dirty Dutch and Jumbo is going to be one of those classic contrast of styles matches that just work out so well.
  2. Nice to see Brickhouse back on track. Victory with a victory. With those 4 men brawling, I don't blame the Ref for getting out of there. It's not often Orton's superplex gets countered but Pillman does it. Great visual. Hart Foundation are on a roll. Heat filled main event as Bigelow literally knocks Adams off the apron for the C.O. win.
  3. Velvet going against Medusa's monster stable is getting good. Velvet better get some back up. Every week we can count on a competitive tag match. Really enjoyed this week's match. Wow, I thought Apache was going to pull off the upset but Moretti capitalizes and gets the win. Well earned victory for the dual champ.
  4. I can already tell this is going to be a fun territory. You've done a great job establishing your stars right away. Harts, Nightmares, Moondogs, Sheepherders and Von Erichs. The tag division is stacked. Any one of these teams can walk away with the gold. After being one of the most hated heels in the game, Madril is now looking to be the top baby face here. On the flip side, Mongolian Stomper is establishing himself as the top heel. That will be easy with Wright in his corner. Stomper vs. Welch will be a good draw. Nice to see Strongbow getting some love and paydays at the end of his career. I wonder who his partner will be??? Something I like about smaller territories is talented wrestlers such as SD Jones and Rip Rogers can really shine. Adrian Street and Miss Linda will be money. Rocco gets a big TV and sets himself up as a legit contender. Summer Blast is going to be a must see event! Great job! Smokey Mountain is off and running. Keep up the good work.
  5. The Soul Man has arrived! He's so much fun to write for. A lot of good promos tonight. Embry is going to get a ton of heat next week. I was trying to figure out who the Rebel is and thanks to the clues I think I finally figured it out LOL. I can't say this enough, Ladd is nothing but gold on the mic. I figured Ladd would mess with Precious and he does. Him and Bad News have a new enemy in Jimmy Jam. Adnan's newest member must be on heck of a talent if he's going to pay him one million dollars. Another wild 6 man tag to end the show. NOOOOOOO, time expires but luckily us readers saw what went down. The fans in attendance get some great matches after TV, Roop makes it known he's a heel. Patriots win one for America. Nothing solved between Strong and Blackwell. I'm enjoying this feud. LOL, I know Adnan was fuming when he had to give up a half a million to Harley. Blockbuster main event and a huge win for Nikita. Even though Ivan caused a distraction, that must of been some visual of Brody going down to the Sickle. Great week and I think a lot of questions will be answered soon.
  6. Love the team of Sugar and Savannah but tonight the Highwaymen were to much to handle. After working as a face for awhile, I'm sure the Spoiler is happy to be reverting back to his heel ways. Speaking of Spoiler, he helps Mr. Electricity win the Jr. title. I've always been a Regal fan so I'm happy to see him wearing some gold. Great night for Dark Journey. Taylor and Zenk are getting over quick especially with that win over the Dirty White Boys. International House of Humperdink make a strong statement as Horner suffers. Cooley and Bass tear it up as they battle for the whip. Bass wins it but Cooley gets in some shots as well. Defiantly more to come. The odds were against Olympia and I thought for sure Magnum had it. And then the Russians get involved. Just wait until Magnum gets a hold of them in the cage. No better way to end the night than the Fullers and Armstrongs going at it in an unsanctioned match. Who are these Interns??? I'm sure the Armstrongs are going to find out. I like that you gave us the fans reaction. Very realistic. I know they were pissed watching Bullet get stretchered out. Can't wait for next week's show!
  7. Nice to see Freight Train getting some respect during his twilight years. SIVA and Cocoa together again! YES! Kendo gets the win but Perez gets some satisfaction. Big win for OMG over Mantell. OMG is looking unstoppable. Super D's found out the hard way you can't outsmart the Funks. The fans get a treat with that Dutch/Abby match. The whip gets the better of the fork LOL. The surprises get better as DICK SLATER arrives to take on Jumbo. I think Slater earned himself a future title shot by taking the champ to the limit. This card was a blast!
  8. The Haitian Sensation, love that moniker. Makes his debut and is thrusted into a program with Sullivan. With the voodoo comment, this could get really interesting. OMG takes out 3 men! True meaning of devastation. Moondogs go crazy tonight! I can just imagine what that scene looked like. They even take out a fan! Love the heat they're getting. Cocoa is on a roll. After that win over Abby, he defiantly deserves that TV title shot. Another great night of action set for the Sports Arena. Whatley's off and running with his TV title reign. Slick helps him get the tainted win over Irwin. It's going to be hard to beat this duo. Once again, great use of the talent here.
  9. AWA releases Les Thornton and Carl Fergie AWA picks up Spike Huber
  10. After what happened, I sure hope we get a Velvet/Medusa match. Awesome post match brawl. Looks like Lady Apache is getting a push and Devine is tired of being pushed around. Richter makes it know she's still at the top. Your intriguing storylines must be pulling in some nice ratings. Good job!
  11. AWA @ The Rupp Arena (Lexington KY) 7-17-86 The Fabulous Ones defeat Two Local talents- Massive heat for the Fabs and even more when they win the match with a double dropkick. "Rugged" Ron Garvin defeated Rene Goulet with a knockout punch Mr. Ito w/Curtis Iaukea defeated Steve O with a nerve hold. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers defeated Tony Garea with a piledriver The Bruise Brothers defeated Matt Borne and Rip Oliver w/Paul Jones- All 4 men end up in a pier six brawl. Cash hits a jumping headbutt on Oliver. Oliver staggers into a scoop powerslam by Snowman for the win. Afterwards a disgusted Paul Jones walked out on his team. Nick Bockwinkle defeated "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers- These guys gave the fans a hard fought 15 minute match. The finish came when Jaggers swung Bock into the corner and charged in but Bock moved and rolled up Jaggers for the pin. El Canek defeated Soldat Ustinov- Canek impressed the fans with a gorilla press drop to get the win. Jerry "The King" Lawler and The Golden Boys vs. AWA National Champ Austin Idol and AWA World tag champs The Awesome Twosome- Everybody had their working boots on as they give the fans a 45 minute main event. In the end, Lawler sent Idol over the top rope with a clothesline while the Golden Boys double clotheslined Hennig over the top rope. Lawler went to the top turnbuckle. Golden Boys double suplex Adias and Lawler hit the flying fist drop for the crowd pleasing pin.
  12. WHOA! Tommy piledriving his mom is the most heel act I've ever seen in this game! The Rich's are stripped of the titles and it looks like more punishment is on the way. I can't imagine what's next for the Rich's. Magnum is back on track and has Olympia's continental title on his mind. Highwaymen fit in so well here. International House of Humperdink. You're onto something Gene. This can get over. Bass made a big mistake messing with the Wildcat. Bring Buddy Back!!!! I'm writing my letter now. LOL, the video was paid for by Buddy supporters. Olympia's going to go crazy. This is going to be awesome! Armstrong's and Fullers! I'll never get tired of this family feud. Welcome back Larry Hamilton. Him and Regal could have a gem of a program. That Huntsville card is loaded! Ross gives the fans some exciting moments but in the end goes down to the Russian sickle. Magnum makes good on his promise and gives the Koloff's some nice chair shots. Magnum better watch out for them during his upcoming match with Olympia.
  13. AWA sends Siva Afi to WSW
  14. AWA adds Matt Borne and Rip Oliver to the block.
  15. Sweet finish by Badd Co. Easy Ed and Finlay not only get the win but put Wright out on the stretcher. That was brutal. Gator and the Mega Man are on a roll as they get a huge win over the Guerreros. Candido and Jarrett give the fans an exciting match with Candido retaining. Well it looks like the Avenger only has one thing on his mind and that's Big Bubba. Smothers gets the tainted win thanks to his buddies. I'm sure Owen has some friends he can bring out next time. Fun main event to close out the show. Duggan looks strong as he heads into an inevitable showdown with Rose.
  16. Doesn't get any better than Reed vs. Allen to kick things off. Reed is going to have to find a counter to Ladd. Sheik Adnan is set on ruling Mid South. He's making his presence known as Jos LeDuc helps the Masked Superstars win the titles! Dusty and Mulligan wont take this lightly. Action packed battle royal! Brody looks like a beast and wins it. Nikita vs. Brody! OH YEA!!!! To Power Pro, It didn't take long for the Red Assassins and Patriots to get something going. The hype is on for the big upcoming world title match. Ivan better be on high alert because Brody found a friend in US Steel. Can't argue with Ladd's points. He's so gold on the mic. The Mighty Yankee is getting heat down south. I hope he knows what he's gotten himself into messing with Blackwell. Garvin vs. Bad News will be very interesting. I can just see Ladd messing with Precious. Love the chaotic southern endings. Race/LeDuc part 2, Dibiase/Duggan-Superstars, Jake/Reed. Things are getting real. Great week Kev!
  17. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 7-16-86 Lance Russell: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Tremendous show lined up as you will see the Bruise Brothers go up against Priceless. Newcomer Jerry Allen goes one on one with Art Crews. Jerry Lawler, Carlos Colon, TV Champ Scott Casey, AWA world tag team champs the Awesome Twosome will all be here. Billy Jack Haynes will be in action. Billy will be wrestling Ricky Steamboat for the world title in 2 weeks at the Auditorium in Milwaukee. All this and much more. Before we get started I want to bring out Jerry Jarrett who has a special announcement. Jarrett: Thank you Lance. We all saw what happened last week when Ox Baker's Beasts of Burden attacked the National tag champs Cabin Fever. Now, I heard Ox's protest of the match at WrestleRock when his team lost the titles to Cabin Fever. He might have a point, however that attack was uncalled for. I have spoken to Cabin Fever and I have decided that next week at the Cook Convention Center, Cabin Fever will defend the National tag titles against the Beasts inside a steel cage! Lance: Oh my, that's big news indeed. Jerry, I know you want this resolved and a cage should do just that. Jarrett: Exactly. No interference and no excuses. Lance: Sounds like a plan to me. Fans, you wont want to miss that one. Let's go to the ring. Brad Rheingans vs. Trent Watkins Rheingans puts his wrestling skills to work tonight before winning the match with a gut wrench suplex. Resnick: Brad, another tremendous win. You've been on a roll here in the AWA and I understand your bodyguard Crusher has left the area. Rheingans: Crusher did me a huge favor by watching my back. You saw us shake hands at WrestleRock as his services came to a very satisfying conclusion. Crusher, thanks again buddy. Now it's time to get focused on winning a championship. Commercial Break TV Champ Scott Casey w/Sunshine vs. Sam Smith The fans cheer as Casey gives Smith a big back drop. Casey picks up Smith and swings him hard into the turnbuckles. Smith hits hard and staggers forward as Casey nails him with a bulldog for the 1..2..3! Resnick: Scott Casey and Sunshine come on over. Scott you have been a fighting champ and have taken on all comers. I understand you have an announcement for us. Casey: Last week you heard Greg Gagne out here asking his Dad to pull some strings and get him a TV title shot for next week. Greg said if he doesn't win the title he'll leave the AWA. Well, Verne had a long talk with me and said I wasn't obligated to defend this title against Greg and he said he would leave it up to me. Sunshine, why don't you tell everybody our answer. Sunshine: With pleasure. Scott Casey has never and will never back down form a challenge. Greg, we accept your challenge but be very careful what you wish for because after next week you'll be standing in the unemployment line. Don't ever call Scott a paper champ again! Cheers as Casey hold up the TV title while Sunshine holds up his other arm. Commercial Break "The Ace" Art Crews vs. Jerry "Alright" Allen During introductions, Allen is jumping up and down and gives a thumbs up and yells "Alright" Crews walks out wearing a vest with an Ace card on the back. He walks over to Resnick Crews: I know everybody is excited that the Ace is back in the game. I've been in Vegas and I've been cleaning house. Time to let it ride in the ring. Just watch me Resnick! Pretty good back and forth match. Allen excites the fans with some high octane moves and gung ho attitude. Crews stops his momentum with an eye rake and works over Allen with classic heel tactics. Crews almost puts Allen away with a reverse neckbreaker but Allen gets his foot on the ropes. Crews spends to much time arguing with the Ref as Allen regroups and goes to town on Crews. Allen is on the verge of winning when the 10 minutes expires and the bell rings signaling a draw. Just as Allen is about to exit, Crews dropkicks him from behind and sends Allen through the ropes. Crews goes out and slams Allen on the concrete. Crews walks over to Resnick. Crews: That idiot ruined everything! This was my night! Now he's got to pay the house. Crews picks up Allen and once again slams him on the concrete. Commercial Break Resnick: With me right now is Greg Gagne. Greg, your challenge has been accepted. Next week you get your TV title match with Scott Casey. Gagne: Was there any doubt? I'm a Gagne and the better Gagne. I'm the Great Gagne! My dad doesn't have any faith in me which is why I'm putting my AWA career on the line. I'm going to prove to him, all these idiots and that paper champ Scott Casey that I'm the most purest wrestler in the AWA. Oh an by the way, Sunshine, don't ever tell me what not to say. You better know your place and you better stay out of my way or else. As for you paper champ Casey, your TV title reign concludes next week. Plain and simple. Gagne exits. Resnick: Ok, should be an outstanding match up. Ok fans.....wait a minute, Larry Zbyszko,! What are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you until next week. Larry: Listen up Spudhead, I couldn't wait until next week. You know, I've been beating up Harley Race for the last 18 months and now it's time for a change of scenery. I'm here to make a lot of money and wear gold. Resnick: Well, I heard things with Harley went a bit differently then you say. Larry: Hey! Watch your mouth Resnick! Got it! Resnick: Ok, just relax. Next week you'll be in the ring going up against the internationally known Cobra. Are you prepared? Larry: Am I prepared? You really are a moron Resnick. I'm done wasting my time with you. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs The Awesome Twosome vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Nothing but arrogance as Hennig comes out wearing his neon orange singlet and Adias wears his neon orange wrestling pants. They enter the ring and hold their titles high to thundering boos. The champs show their opponents why they're wearing the gold as they simple out wrestle and out class them. The match ends when Adias executes the airplane spin on Dutro then tags in Hennig. Hennig hits the Fisherman's suplex 1..2..3! Resnick: Curt Hennig and Brian Adias, I must get your opinion on what went down at WrestleRock? Adias: What the hell are you talking about? Hennig: What went down is we successfully defended our world titles against the inferior Rock n Roll Express. Resnick: I'm talking about the Fabulous Ones interfering. Adias: We would of won the match anyways so that's a non issue. Jeez, Larry Z was right, you are a moron Resnick. Resnick: Fine. Ok, what about your upcoming title defense in 2 weeks at the Auditorium in Milwaukee against the Golden Boys? Hennig: The who? You mean those two big meat heads? Yea, like they have a chance. Ok, we're done here. Adias: Just remember, we're awesome and your not! Commercial Break Carlos Colon vs. Peter Noonan Colon comes out to a massive pop. He waits in the ring but his opponent doesn't come out. Thundering boos as Curtis Iaukea comes out and grabs the mic from Resnick. The Ref is holding Colon back and begging him not to go out there. Iaukea: Carlos Colon! I told you I will not go away and this will not be over until I fulfill my promise to Tiger Jeet Singh. Your misery is just beginning. WHAM! Carlos is hit from behind by MR. ITO! Ito hits and stomps away on Colon, then hurls him outside the ring. Ito picks up Colon and slams his head on the timekeeper's table. Ito grabs a cable and chokes Colon with it. Iaukea runs over and nails Colon with his kendo stick. Ito chokes away until Colon passes out. Security rushes out. Ito releases, then picks up Colon's head and slaps him across his face. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the glowing pink 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody! I'm so excited to be back in action. That was some show last week with my dear friend the Dream Machine. This week I'm looking to make some new friends. Please welcome out Gino Brito Jr. and the wrecking machine Richard Charland. Gino comes out and kisses Brenda's hand. Charland gives her a respectful nod. Britton: Gino, last week your man Richard Charland was so impressive and no wonder why you call him the wrecking machine. However, you were pretty disappointed in the competition. Gino: Utterly disappointed. So disappointed that my client will not set foot in an AWA ring until we find suitable competition. It's for the safety of all the wrestlers. You saw what this man is capable of. He destroys anything in his path. From what I've seen in the AWA, I think we might have to venture elsewhere. Major League of professional wrestling? I beg to differ. Cheers as Brad Rheingans comes out. Britton: Hey wait just a minute! How dare you. You weren't invited. Brad: Relax, I'm not going to cause any trouble. I just can't sit back and listen to this garbage anymore. You want some competition? I'll wrestle your client. Charland steps forward but Gino backs him off. Gino: (sizes Brad up) You? You want to wrestle the wrecking machine? Brad: Yea, I'll wrestle him. Gino: (smiles) Well, I guess a victory over you might mean something around here. Consider it done. Brad: Tell your client he better get his wrestling boots on. Rheingans exits as Charland is fuming. Britton: As always, it happens right here on the Beauty Shop. Gino, I can't wait to watch the wrecking machine shut that stupid Brad Rheingans up. Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break Billy Jack Haynes w/Ox Baker vs. Todd Rooney Billy Jack is ruthless as he tosses Rooney all around the ring. Billy finally puts Rooney out of his misery (well not really) with the full nelson to easily win the match. Resnick: Ox, a lot on your plate. Next week at the Cook Convention Center, the Beasts take on Cabin Fever for the National tag titles inside a steel cage. Then in 2 weeks at the auditorium in Milwaukee, Billy Jack Haynes takes on Ricky Steamboat for the AWA world title. Ox: It's all coming together! My Beasts will reclaim what's rightfully theirs as they will annihilate and destroy Cabin Fever inside the cage. A cage is home to the Beasts! Say your prayers Cabin Fever. Speaking of prayers, Steamboat better be saying his as well. In 2 short weeks Billy Jack Haynes will use all his strength and power to dethrone Steamboat and take his title. Billy: Steamboat! I know you can't handle what I've got! I'm gonna snap you and break you in half! I'm taking the title and there's nothing you can do about it! Commercial Break "El Jefe" Jose Estrada vs. Neil Jurgens Estrada oozes confidence as he walks to the ring with a cigar in his mouth. He's wearing a green vest with "El Jefe" written on the back. Green trunks and green knee pads. Huge gold chain and sunglasses. Estrada makes quick work of Jurgens and finishes him off with a high knee lift! Resnick: Estrada, I assume you're now flying solo again? Estrada takes a puff of his cigar and blows it in Resnick's face. While Resnick is coughing, Johnny Valiant comes out holding a box. Valiant: Mr. Estrada, obviously you're a man who knows his cigars. In this box, I have the best cigars money can buy. I offer this gift to you. Valiant hands Estrada the box. Estrada takes one out and sniffs it then smiles. Estrada: What can I do for you? Valiant: I just need a moment of your time. Can we go somewhere private and converse? Estrada: Lead the way They exit. Resnick: Not sure what that was about and not sure I want to know. Our main event when we come back Commercial Break The Bruise Brothers vs. Priceless Some bad history and unfinished business between these two teams. Priceless attacks at the bell but Bruise Brothers were ready. All 4 men are brawling as the Ref lets it go. Cash pounds away on Fergie in the corner while Snowman is all over Morrow in the opposite corner. Bruise Bros swing Priceless into each other. They bounce back. Cash grabs Fergie while Snowman grabs Morrow. They hit stereo jumping headbutts and Priceless go flying out of the ring. After Priceless regroups, the Ref gets control. Fergie is in there with Cash. Cash pounds away on Fergie, swings him to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Cash tags in Snowman. Snowman presses Fergie up and slams him down then follows with a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Morrow breaks it with a stomp to the head. Cash runs in but the Ref guides him back. This allows Morrow to execute a swinging neckbreaker on Snowman. Cash drags Fergie to the corner and tags himself in as the fans boo. Morrow picks up Snowman and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Morrow swings off the ropes and hits a knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Morrow drags Snowman to the ropes and chokes him on the bottom rope. Morrow tags in Fergie. Morrow holds Snowman while Fergie comes off the top rope with a knee to the back. Fergie slams Snowman and covers 1..2..Kick Out. Fergie swings Snowman to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Snowman swings back and clotheslines Fergie down then dives over and tags in Cash. Cash is all over Fergie. He punches away, swings him to the ropes and hits a crossbody/diving headbutt 1..2..Morrow breaks it with a leg drop. Snowman runs in and knocks Morrow through the ropes with a running forearm blast. Snowman picks up Fergie and twirls him around for a slam but one of Fergie's boots hits the Ref and the Ref goes down. Snowman drops Fergie and checks on the Ref. Cash gets up. Morrow sneaks in the ring and drags Fergie out. The Bruise Bros see this and head to the outside. Fergie picks up a chair. The Bruise Bros double clothesline Morrow down. They turn around as Fergie is ready to hit them with the chair. Fergie stops and is terrified. The Bruise Bros kick Fergie and double suplex him on the concrete. Snowman hoists Fergie up and executes a running powerslam on the concrete! The Bruise Bros hurl the lifeless Fergie back into the ring. The Ref slowly gets to his knees as Cash covers Fergie 1..2..3! Huge Pop! Commercial Break Lance: That was some match we just witnessed. Poor Carl Fergie had to be stretchered out of here. Fans, next week the Dream Machine will be in action. Larry Zbyszko takes on The Cobra. The Superflys return to action. Big TV title match as Scott Casey defends against Greg Gagne. AWA world champ Ricky Steamboat will be in action. Right now I want to bring out none other than Jerry The King Lawler. Huge ovation as Lawler (wearing his king's crown) holds his fist up and smiles. Lance: Jerry, I know you heard the news. In 2 weeks at the Auditorium, you get a National title shot at Austin Idol. Your thoughts? Lawler: Lance, now that I'm finished with Dundee, it's time to get a title. Idol's been shooting his mouth off and now its time to back up the talk. We're no strangers to each other and we've got another round to go. Idol! I want that title and in 2 weeks I'm coming to get it! Lance: Ok, the King wants some gold. Fans, I'll see you all next week.
  18. You've done an incredible job building up your roster. WSW is bringing in the money. Slick and Whatley are in sync. Cocoa going toe to toe with the Dungeon of Doom has really gotten him over. OMG shows his devastation with a 747 win over a red hot Perez. Hope to see more of Mantell and Brooks going at it. Tribal Nation prove their still title threats with that win over Karachi Vice. Heck of a main event and post match brawl! Chicky almost gets decapitated. Chicky vs. JJ is going to get crazy. Shoo Baby is defiantly over LOL. Funks and Zaibatsu are heading for an epic blow off.
  19. Good to see Bleh's creation, the Highwaymen are still going strong in the game. The Russians are having a hard time with Ranger Ross. USA! USA! USA! Got to have a wild southern multi man fight on a Continental card. That 6 man tag gives the fans their fix. Bodyguard Duker is paying off for Olympia and RPG.
  20. AWA sends Tony St. Clair to Pacific.
  21. Another wild night in Birmingham! Kazmaier is off to a strong start. Dang! Ranger Ross gets credibility right away with that win over Ivan. I know he got a major pop. Regal gets a win over rival Horner. These guys can go. Armstrong's earn their way to a title shot. Looking forward to the DWBs and Zenk/Taylor going at it again. So good to see Myers continuing employment as a bodyguard. Oh man RPG brings in Ron Bass! I always liked Bass when he was a ruthless heel using Miss Betsy. Cooley gets the DQ win but this one is far from over. HAHAHA! I'm liking the Mama's Boy story. Tonight brought more heat with that. Tommy Rich is going to snap. Olympia retains with a hard fought win over Iceman. I guess Landel heard RPG's comments. This is going to be very interesting.
  22. Loved the post Bash promos! Slick and Whatley are money and I hope Whatley has a long TV title run. BTW, Whatley had one of the best struts in wrestling LOL. I knew Embry would have a lot to say. Sommers explanation of what went down at the Bash made perfect sense to me LOL. Sullivan introduces Jason! I admit, I would be terrified to interview these guys. Dirty Dutch brings out his insurance policy Shoo Baby! Watch out WSW, Akbar is bringing in a new member. Wild main event as the Super Destroyers are up to their old tricks. To the Sports Arena, With a hockey mask and Axe, can Jason be stopped? Even though they get a bit of help from Radiance and a bike chain, still a big win for Devil's Duo. Nice win for Perez over Sullivan. Good thing Perez got out of there. Poor Sommers, takes the fall while his partner chases down his belt. Creative finish. WOW! Cocoa gets a major win over Abby! I think Cocoa deserves a title shot after that showing. OMG has arrived!!! Devastation indeed! Zaibatsu has been on a roll! Dutch better be on high alert when he takes on Jumbo. Great week!
  23. AWA releases The Spoiler, Crusher, Ricky Santana and (with great sadness) Vinnie Valentino aka The Vin Man. AWA sends Phil Hickerson and Bobby Duncum to Continental. AWA picks up George Wells, Jerry Oske, Timothy Flowers, Art Crews, Soldat Ustinov and Chris Markoff
  24. Velvet retains once again and may very well remain TV champ throughout the year. It's obvious Medusa's remarks rubbed Bennett the wrong way. Moretti's loss at the Bash has given her a real mean streak. I have to say, the Pardue/Mitchell feud is one of the game's best. Another outstanding 6 Woman match and we have new Trios champions to end the show! Don't worry about the schedule. Life first my friend. Hope everything works out.
  25. And just like that Gene is back in business! Ranger Ross debuts and already finds himself in a match with Uncle Ivan. USA vs. Russia was always money in the 80s. LOL, RPG in the hospital was classic TV. I bet Pedicino enjoyed this bit. Sounds like RPG has one heck of a lawyer. Olympia chasing Pedicino out of the room had me laughing. Dirty White Boys should do well here. Cooley looks sharp tonight and has become a main eventer in Continental. I wonder who his mystery opponent will be? Will Cooley's reign be a short one? I still can't believe the Rich's have more heat than ever. This has been one of the best stories in the game. Looking forward to some wild matches with the Armstrong's. Another stacked card coming to Birmingham. Zenk and Taylor should be an exciting young team to watch out for. The World's Strongest Man gets his gimmick going. I have to say, the Fullers had me cracking up with the Popeye and Carney comments. However, the Pedicino paying him Tuesday for a hamburger today was the line of the night. Even got a chuckle from Solie. Fullers get the tainted win over the Armstrong's and all hell breaks loose. Fitting Continental end. Great to have you back Gene!
