  1. Look at that, British Steel finally pulls off a win over the Hart Foundation. That's a big time confidence booster. Wild Bulls don't disappoint their Bullpen fans, with that decisive win over Zenk and Perez. Thundercats get back on the winning track. It was only a matter of time before the Bullpen and Wild Dogs crossed paths. Pacific better amp up security. Midnight's win this round over Badd Co. but these teams will fight another day. Taylor is racking up the wins. I know Orton and Rose gave the fans a solid match. DQ finish keeps the feud hot. My guys Iron and Steel drop one to Windham and Rotunda but they'll get a chance for payback at Aloha Spectacular. Muta ends the night with his innovating moonsault. LOL, Candido is going to have a breakdown. I would of bought a ticket for that Hansen/Bigelow match. Security is now on high alert every time the Dog Pound wrestles. Guerreros retain tonight, but they have those pesky Snowbirds at Aloha Spectacular. Simmons impresses by taking Orton to the limit. Simmons is a star in the making. Aloha Spectacular looks stacked. These feuds have been built up so well. I'm looking forward to the pay offs.
  2. Texas takes the baton and runs with it! Opening match gets the fans going as the Nightmares and Jayhawks tear into each other. Pringle's interference backfires and Nightmares keep the momentum going to gain the victory. Big win for the Nightmares and Continental. Pringle's temper gets the best of him as he slaps Jaggers. LOL big mistake! Jayhawks might of walked in as heels but defiantly got over with the fans on the way out. Fun way to start the show. One thing I like about tournaments is matches like the Technicians vs. Armstrongs. Great fast paced technical match up. Roop's experience comes into play and the Technicians advance. I like the little moment at the end when the Armstrongs took it as a lesson to learn from. Good sportsmanship. In the midst of all these chaotic brawls, this was a refreshing change of pace. LOL, on the USA network, we knew we would get a Luscious spot. I'm loving the suspense. Morrow, Fergie and Slick's entrance and ring gear was, well priceless. This didn't seem to faze Cooley and Armstrong as they come out swinging. Fantastic showing by Cooley and Armstrong until we get one of the all time best finishes. The champagne bottle comes into play but this time doesn't actually shatter. LOL what a great finish. Fergie should get an academy award for that selling. Happy fan favorites Good and Plenty go up against the violent Sheepherders. I was looking forward to this intriguing match up. They put on a very entertaining match. Boyd spoils everything with a flagpole shot on the Candyman. Good and Plenty stay strong while the Sheepherders advance. Other teams better be on the look out for Boyd. HAHAHA! YES! Here we go, the Fiesta Garden. I'm sure the USA network scored high in this segment. LOL, Al even gets Slinker to say "Hello Ron" Al takes advantage of the wider audience and tears into poor Brenda. That comes to a stop when Lancelot comes out. Lance gives Al a piece of his mind but we all know Al gets the last word. Al and Slinker do a number and handcuff and gag Lance. Al goes off and takes away all of Lance "Von Erich's" credibility. Man, that was a verbal assault. The license topped it all off. I couldn't stop laughing when Lance apologized and rushed out while still handcuffed. LOL nice touch! After this, I'm not sure if Brenda will want anymore of this. Unless she can get somebody like Greg Gagne to fight for her. Show couldn't of ended on a higher note as the Gunslingers upset the Funks to advance! Terry's antics had me rolling. The Gunslingers were already the top babyfaces but this win catapults them to a whole new level. They have to be considered favorites to win it now. I know Sunshine loved this. Oh man, how will this effect Terry in his upcoming title defense against Dusty???? Awesome first show Bleh. Can't wait for Gene's shows!

Winners of the match- John Tatum and Jack Victory Lance: Well I can't say it was a clean win but the Texas tag team champions John Tatum and Jack Victory will advance in the tournament. Fans, I think that match has set the tone for this tournament. This next match has a bit of history for our Texas fans. Should be a hard hitting contest. Opening round match The Cartel (Ricky Santana and Fidel Sierra) vs. The South Pacific Connection (Siva Afi and Cocoa Samoa) The feud between Cocoa Samoa and Jose Estrada is still fresh in the Texas fans minds. Thanks to the Cartel, Estrada was able to send Cocoa out of Texas. The tournament odds were with Cocoa as he gets a chance for some payback tonight. Siva and Cocoa are in the ring pacing back and forth. Boos as the Cartel stroll down the aisle. Fidel actually has a cigar. Santana is laughing and pointing up at Cocoa. Winners of the match- The South Pacific Connection Lance: Now I know that was a very satisfying win for Cocoa, and by that applause, these Texas fans feel the same way. The South Pacific Connection will advance. Fans, we're only two matches in and the action has been non stop. Ok, we're set for our next match. The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Highwaymen Duncum and Hickerson enter the ring wearing their long trench coats and cowboy hats. They look focused and mean. Cheers as the RPMs hit the ring wearing their trademark spandex attire. The RPMs don't look as confident tonight. Word has it that they really took that TV loss to the Rose Cousins pretty hard. As the match progresses, it's obvious the RPMs just don't have it together. On the flip side, the Highwaymen are on their A game. The opening moments is all Highwaymen. RPMs make a bit of a comeback and start to build some momentum. That comes to an abrupt halt when Hickerson blasts Lane with a clothesline to the back of the head. Duncum clotheslines Davis over the top rope. Hickerson hoists Lane up as Duncum hops on the middle ropes. They hit the Spike piledriver! 1..2..3! Winners of the Match- The Highwaymen Lance: My goodness! The Highwaymen made relatively short work of the RPMs. Very dominating performance as the Highwaymen advance in the tournament. I'll be keeping an eye on those two tough hombres, that's for sure. This next match should be another hard hitting affair. Let's go back to the ring. Central States Tag Team Champs The Bruise Brothers vs. The Moondogs w/Sir Oliver Humperdink Lance was right, this one's hard hitting. Even Humperdink keeps his distance. Winners of the Match- The Bruise Brothers Lance: Bruise Brothers advance with a hard fought victory over the Moondogs. However, Humperdink and the Moondogs get the last shot in. I see the Bruise Brothers getting up, so that's a good sign. I'm sure Sir Oliver is real pleased with himself and his Moondogs. What a poor sport. Fans, I see extra security is coming out for this next match and I'm sure I know why. Things could get ugly here in Texas. Opening Round Match Continental Tag Team Champs Tommy and Johnny Rich vs. The Tribal Nation (Mark and Chris Youngblood) THUNDERING BOOOOOOOS! The Rich's arrogantly walk down the aisle with huge smiles on their faces. You wouldn't know there was extra security with all the garbage being thrown at the Rich's. They enter the ring and the boos go to an all time high when the fans notice they're holding yellow roses. Security have to hold several fans back from running into the ring. It's a madhouse! More garbage and beer is thrown at the Rich's. Tommy grabs the mic. "Now hold on! My cousin Johnny and I came to this dump for some friendly competition. I should of known this would happen. You people should be bowing down to us. You know why? Because we represent family values, unlike the good ol Von Erich boys. Things are getting really tense. "We're here to fill that void. You know, the Von Erich void... Before Tommy can finish, the Tribal Nation hits the ring. The Ref quickly signals for the bell. The fans are going wild as the Tribal Nation are all over the Rich's. Winners of the Match- Tommy and Johnny Rich Lance: The Rich's advance but I think they're just lucky to get out of here alive. Oh wait a minute, hold on. I think you boys better get out of here while you can. Johnny: I don't know what's with these people? Like Tommy said, we're your family now. And this family won't abandon you. Things just got better around here. Place goes into full on riot mode when the Rich's start singing "The Yellow Rose of Texas" Mass Security escorts the Rich's out. Lance: I've never seen a place erupt like this. We're going to have to get things calmed down before we get to our final match. (Looking around at the intense scene) Well fans, it's been a night filled with action and chaos. I don't think that's going to change as we get ready for our next match, but first we better take a time out to let things cool down. Advertisement is shown for the USWA's next closed circuit event. Friday...April 2nd...Market Square Arena... USWA presents "The Happening" Lance: Ok fans, let's go to the ring. USWA Tag Team Champs The Karachi Vice vs. The Fabulous Ones Karachi Vice and The Fabs are in the ring when Gama grabs the mic. "Forget about all the previous hostility. That is not what the Karachi Vice Invitational is all about. It's about true tag team competition and nobody knows more about that than brother Makhan and myself. We've held these titles for 9 months and tonight we get to show the world why we are the best tag team in wresting. I want to extend our deepest condolences to these young men opposing us. I'm sorry your stay in our tournament will be a short one. In the meantime, let's show all these great fans what the Karachi Vice Invitational is all about. Shall we?" The Ref signals for the bell. Gama staggers up and Lane nails him with a superkick! Before Gama falls, Keirn grabs him and hits a German Suplex 1..2..3!!!!!! The fans are up and cheering!!!! Winners of the Match- The Fabulous Ones Lance: (laughing) Well how about that! The Fabulous Ones have advanced with a win over the current USWA tag team champions. I don't think the Karachi Vice were expecting this. Talk about a stunner. Listen to this crowd. Fans, what a tremendous first set of matches. The teams advancing are John Tatum and Jack Victory, The South Pacific Connection. The Highwaymen, The Bruise Brothers, The Rich's and now the Fabulous Ones. And this is only the beginning. Stay tuned as Marc Lowrance and Texas All-Star will bring you the next series of opening round matches. Then tomorrow, Charlie Platt and Ronnie P Gossett will host the second round matches. So far the David Von Erich Memorial Tag team tournament has been nothing short of exciting. I'll see you on Sunday.
  4. Hase shows his skills in a good showcase match. Big win for Taylor as he makes Mando submit. Blackman gets the win over Candido but this feud is far from over. Great promo by Adams as he heads into his big title match with Gilbert. I like Anvil getting his two cents in. No doubt with Big Bubba around, Cornette wont be afraid to shoot his mouth off. Rose and Easy Ed win a battle over the Crazy Gang but I have to wonder what's going on between Duggan and Rose. Things are heating up as Pacific heads into the Aloha Spectacular.
  5. USWA releases George Wells and adds Mongolian Stomper. USWA sends TNT to Continental. USWA adds Bruce Hart

USWA @ The Rupp Arena 2-6-86 USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice vs. 2 Local Talents Gama grabs the mic "We are fair men and just because the Karachi Vice Tag Team Invitational is in our honor does not mean we do not have to qualify. Tonight, the winners of this match will go on to compete in the Karachi Vice Invitational next weekend in Texas" Karachi Vice destroys their opponents as Mahkan hits a body splash to the back and Gama follows with the camel clutch. Boos as Karachi Vice hold up their titles and hug. The fans can hear them say "We earned this, we really did" "Bulldog" Mike George vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr These two continue their feud in another hard hitting encounter. George wins the match with a quick cradle. Afterwards, Barr has another meltdown as he flips over chairs and takes swings at the fans. Steel swings Kelly to the ropes and hits the bearhug slam! Vinnie hops on the apron and yells at Steel. Steel runs over and accidently knocks the Ref over. They set Kelly on top of him and exit. The Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! Booooo! Big Man Steel must leave town. The Fabulous Ones vs. Greg Gagne and Duke Myers (sub for Joe Savoldi) Gagne and Myers get in some offense but the Fabs are on fire tonight. They double dropkick Gagne out of the ring. Lane hits Myers with superkick that sends him into a back suplex by Keirn for the win! On the way out, Gagne gets hit by a hot dog while arguing with the fans. Billy Jack Strong vs. "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea Just a brawl as they battle to a double c.o. and keep on fighting up the aisle. Ghetto Street Fight! "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. George Wells Wells is in jeans and a football jersey while Morrow is wearing a suit. Wells is all over Morrow! Morrow is a bumping fool as Wells takes it to him. Wells dropkicks Morrow out of the ring. Wells goes out, rips Morrow's shirt off him and chokes him with it. Wells picks up Morrow and swings him into the steel post. Wells grabs a chair. Morrow is on his knees and Wells cracks him on the back with the chair. Wells goes to the timekeeper's table, grabs a can of beer, shakes it and sprays it in Morrow's face. From out of nowhere CARL FERGIE comes from behind and shatters a bottle of champagne over Wells head! Fergie lays Morrow's arm across Wells. The Ref has no choice but to count 1..2..3! Fergie apparently had set another bottle of champagne on the timekeeper's table. He opens it and feeds some to Morrow to revive him. Morrow staggers up. Him and Fergie exchange the bottle and take swigs. Morrow points down at Wells and smiles. Morrow picks up Wells and hits a falling DDT on the concrete while Fergie laughs. To the horror of the fans, Morrow picks up Wells again and hits another floating DDT on the concrete! Officials and Medics run out to attend to Wells. As Wells is stretchered out, Morrow and Fergie hold up the champagne bottle and gesture a toast as the fans are in complete shock. Carlos Colon vs. Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea The rulebook is pretty much thrown out as these guys tear into each other. Iaukea tries to get involved but Colon takes care of him. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and Mid America Champ "Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. USWA World Champ Terry Funk and Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll Funk is pissed after getting marked with his own branding iron by Dusty on TV yesterday. Tully is pissed from getting clocked by Slater yesterday. Tempers are already flaring. The Ref shows a lot of leniency at the start and just lets these guys fight. The fight is all over the place and the fans are loving every minute. Eventually we get something resembling a match. The match goes over 30 minutes with a lot of pier six brawls in between. Each man is on their A game and gets his chance to shine. Baby Doll even got a slap in on Slater. At around the 35 minute mark everybody is in the ring fighting. Funk is against the ropes. Dusty charges with a clothesline that sends them both over the top. The Ref is looking out at them. Baby Doll gets on the apron with her shoe in hand. Tully holds Slater and walks him over. 7. RPG opens up the first Continental show stating nothing but facts of what went down at Gulf Coast Clash. The Continental title is going to be a huge deal judging by all the talent coming in to compete for it. Fujinami throws his name in and has an impressive debut. Will be interesting watching the Japanese superstar in Continental. Bullet Bob is coming after Dory but right now is focused on the tournament. YES! I was hoping Chicky and Ayala would cross paths and it happened. These guys will be trouble. Poor Bruno just lost a big henchman. Dundee and Street tune up for the tournament. WOW! Dundee and Barnes in a street fight on TV! Oh yea! Slick and Fergie are lucky to be alive and lucky Bad News decided to cool down and not appear live tonight. It's scary when a guy like Bad News takes time out to think about what he's going to do next. And here we go. The most hated men in the game, the Rich's are back on TV. LOL they take shots at everybody and I mean everybody! I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they're in Texas. They're going to have every team gunning for them as well as the fans. It's going to be nuts! I really don't think they're going to make it out alive. I don't think the Rich's can ever be babyfaces again. Fergie knows how to invest and Dory Funk is a great investment. Bullet could be in serious trouble. Good thing his sons are around. I don't know why but the sight of Slick and Dory conversing just cracked me up. All hell breaks loose as Brody runs in to help Olympia from a Platinum Club beatdown. Even if I had 3 men by my side, I still wouldn't want to mess with Brody. AWWWW man bummer, thanks to that no good Barnes, the Iceman is gone. BOOOOOO! It looks like the Dynamite Duo/Sheepherders feud still rages on. At least they have Dundee to take care of Barnes. Now they just need somebody to counter Boyd. Great stuff Gene! Next stop, the tournament!
  8. It's simple things like Dusek meeting the Wild Bunch in front of the arena that capture this territory so well. A coin toss determines it will be Bass and Bart competing in the tournament. The Cartel look impressive as they tune up for the tournament. Even Marc Lowrance had to give them their due. Great job hyping up the tournament and reminding us who's representing Texas. Ok it's official, I think the Rich's are going to die in Texas! OMG they took some serious shots at the Von Erichs! I wonder if Kerry and Kevin caught wind of this up in NY? I have to say, I think the Rich's are the most hated team in the entire game. Damn that was some nuclear heat. It was one thing when they were doing this in Continental but now that the fans in Texas got to see this first hand, it could cause a full blown riot. The Texas teams will be out for some Rich blood. No doubt about it, the ratings will be way up during the Rich tournament matches LOL. Thank goodness the Gunslingers were up next. Very smart placement. Gunslingers are fired up and have to be considered favorites. Speaking of heat, it's now time for the Fiesta Garden. Well it was only a matter of time before Al got a bodyguard. He gets none other than 27x karate champ and former officer of the law, Ron Slinker! What a pair! HAHAHAHA Al and his shots at Brenda have become my favorite part of the Fiesta Garden. He cracks me up. But he better watch it because Brenda has a plan. Al almost gets in serious trouble as White Lightning Tim Horner has enough and challenges him on the spot! Awesome segment as Slinker earns his money and helps Al get the win. Al's the man! Luscious is coming in with some serious hype. I can't wait to find out what this is all about. The suspense is killing me LOL. Kansas Jayhawks take care of business and Pringle tells them they better not let him down. The managers must be feeling the pressure because Paul Jones said the same thing to the Devil's Duo. Awesome main event as we get closure to one of the best feuds in the game. Wild Bunch take "Killer's Gang" down and advance to the tournament. Meanwhile Miller doesn't seem to impressed with Brooks anymore. Great go home show to the DVE tournament. I'm looking forward to this epic event. So many great teams competing. It's going to be a wild 3 days!

The fans go crazy when Dusty picks up Funk's branding iron and holds it up. Dusty pushes the iron down on Funk's chest and leaves a mark! Funk is screaming in pain and rolling around frantically. Dusty throws the branding iron. The fans cheer as Dusty does the title motion around his waist. Dusty heads to the podium. Dusty: Terry Funk! Did you forget who you was mess'n with? Last week you said this was war. Brother, we declared war on each other a long time ago. Many many battles and a lot of blood spilled but the war continues to rage on. I won tonight's battle but the war will be won next week when I put you out to pasture and take that USWA world title away. That will be an American Dream ending. I'll see ya in Texas Funk! Commercial Break Lance: Wow, Dusty Rhodes just sent a message to the world champ Terry Funk. Their saga continues at the David Von Erich Memorial tag team tournament. Tonight, you will see many teams tuning up for the tournament. You will also see Gerry Morrow take on George Wells in a grudge match. Tony St. Clair defends his TV title against Big Man Steel. So let's keep things moving and go to the ring. The Stud Stable (Rob Fuller and Jimmy Golden) vs. Gary Williams and Neil Greenwood Stud Stable toy with and humiliate their opponents before finishing them off with a spiked piledriver. Ron Fuller joins them at the podium. Rob: Well now, everybody is talking about this big high dollar tournament coming up. Yes indeed. And everybody also knows that myself and cousin Jimmy are going to win that grand cash prize. Jimmy: That's right! And we heard those Fabulous Nones shooting off their mouths and saying they hope we cross paths in the tournament. Those boys love getting a good beating don't they. (laughs) Ron: I told you, the Stud Stable is running things around here. Rob and Jimmy are walking away with the trophy. Now, Dusty Rhodes is prancing around like he's king of the mountain. Dusty, don't get to comfortable because like I said, you and I have unfinished business boy. Commercial Break Carlos Colon vs. Peter Crowell Colon is on fire tonight and wins the match with a flying clothesline from the top rope! Colon heads to the podium. Lance: Carlos, tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena, it's you and Kamala one on one. Last week at the Roanne Fieldhouse, Iaukea, Lewin and Kamala attacked their own man TNT and did a number on him. This is one evil group. Are you mentally and physically prepared for Kamala? Colon: Iaukea and his goons have been on a path of destruction. Kamala has hurt me very badly but here I am, standing and ready to fight. Kamala! I bring the fight to you tomorrow night! Commercial Break The Devil's Duo w/Paul Jones vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Paul Jones is very vocal tonight and makes sure the Duo is focused. Vines executes a backbreaker on Dutro and holds him while Sword comes off the top rope with a stomp to the chest for the win. They head to the podium. Super Destroyer joins them. Jones: (looks at the Duo) I want you two to look at this man (looks at Super Destroyer) This man has a killer instinct and is going to put the Spoiler out of wrestling. I want the two of you to get your killer instinct back. You failed against those clowns the Bruise Brothers and last week you two bungled an opportunity for a TV title match. I will not be embarrassed at the DVE tag team tournament! You boys better only have winning the whole damn thing on your mind. Got it! Jones and Super Destroyer storm off. Vines and Sword look pissed then walk off. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. George Wells The fans boo as Morrow flaunts his Billionaire's title. Huge pop as Wells runs to the ring. He slides in but Morrow blasts him with his title! Morrow heads to the outside, grabs a bottle of cheap Thunderbird, then goes back in the ring. Morrow pours the bottle all over Wells. Morrow laughs and heads to the podium. Lance: Ok, alright, that was just despicable. Morrow: Oh I know why you're upset. You thought I wasted de good champagne on him. HAHAHA don't worry Lance, George is not worth de good stuff. I used the cheapest on him. Enough about George. De big news is I have a true partner and friend I can count on. Of course I'm referring to none other than Mr. Money Carl Fergie. Together we will win de tournament and we will become even richer together. If dat is even possible HAHAHA. Lance, you really should think about investing in our team. Good day. Commercial Break The South Pacific Connection (Siva and Cocoa) vs. Trent Watkins and Carl Kellerman Siva and Cocoa double back drop Watkins. Kellerman runs in and gets a double chop. Siva and Cocoa hop up on opposite turnbuckles and crash down with diving headbutts to get the win. Lance: Fantastic win for the South Pacific Connection as they head into the tournament with some steam. Boos as Greg Gagne comes out. Gagne: Oh yea everybody is happy and pumped up about this tournament. Well I'm not! Last week, those fools the Bruise Brothers beat up my partner Joe so bad he had to be stretchered out of the arena. Not only that but some fat slob fan poured a beer on my head! Joe's a tough kid and he will be at the tournament. But we're not going to take this abuse anymore! I'm serving notice to every team out there. High Fly'n Fever is coming after all of you! Lance: Ok, a very threatening Greg Gagne. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I have some great news. Curt Hennig is coming back to the USWA. Let's take a special look at Curt Hennig. "The Heat is on" by Glen Frey plays The video shows Curt Hennig swimming in the ocean, running on the beach, playing golf, driving a convertible and working out at the gym. "Curt Hennig is on his way" Lance: We certainly look forward to Curt Hennig's arrival. Let's go back to the ring. "The Real Thing" Rip Morgan vs. Arnie Goldstein Rip just tears his opponent up before finishing him off with a big boot to the head! Rip stomps and huffs around the ring. Commercial Break Lance: We're set for our next match but Rip Morgan is still stomping around the ring. Rip finally exits the ring. The participant for the next match comes out and it's Nord the Barbarian. Rip stomps and huffs then sees Nord stomping and huffing. Both men start stomping and huffing around each other. They start yelling at each other. Officials come out to escort Rip back. Rip finally leaves but continues yelling at Nord. Nord gets in the ring for his match. Nord the Barbarian vs. Todd Rooney Nord is very aggressive and finishes things off quick with a devastating clothesline! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans down to Brenda Britton Britton: I'm not happy and I have a lot to say. Just listen to this. So, a couple days ago I got this special package in the mail. It was so beautifully wrapped with heart decorations on it. I opened it and it was a tape that said 'watch me'. Needless to say I was excited. I watched it and it was that no good Alvin on his third rate show. You know what he said? He referred to me...(deep breath) he referred to me as a rat!!! A rat! (Fans laugh) Hey! That's not funny! I was so mad. I was in tears. Oh I was so upset. Well I'm not upset anymore because I have a plan. I'll get to that in a minute. Right now I want to bring out tonight's guest, Lance Von Erich. Cheers as Lance comes out. Britton: (smiles and slides her finger down his arm) Hi Lance, oh my you sure have big muscles. Lance: (smiles) Thank you Ms. Britton. Britton: (seductive smile) Oh please, call me Brenda. Now you heard what that Latin Loser Alvin called me right? Lance: Yes, I did. Britton: Well I was thinking. I need a knight in shinning armor to defend me. I need somebody to go down to Texas next weekend and put that Alvin in his place. Well, who better than a Von Erich. The Von Erich's are Texas toughest and a Von Erich should be at the big tournament. You're a true Von Erich right? Lance: Well... Britton: Wait a minute...Lance...Lancelot! Yes! You're my Lancelot! (starts stroking his hair) What do you say Lancelot? Will you defend my honor? Lance: (Smiles) Well I guess it wouldn't hurt if I went down and had a word with him. Brenda gives Lance a huge hug. She finally lets go. Britton: You're my hero Lancelot! Thank you, thank you so much! (looks at the camera) You're in big trouble now Alvin! I'll be back on the Beauty Shop in two weeks and guess what? My guess will be Lancelot, my hero. Until then tooooodles. Brenda gives Lance another hug and kisses him several times on the cheek as the segment ends. Commercial Break Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Ray Glader Kamala puts Glader down with a thrust shot, picks him up and slams him down. Kamala swings off the ropes and finishes things off with a body splash. As Iaukea leads Kamala to the podium, footage is shown of Kamala, Lewin and Iaukea brutally attacking TNT. Lance: I can't believe you would do that to one of your loyal men. Kamala is walking around slapping his belly while Mark Lewin joins them. Iaukea: TNT was a weak child! You know what you with a weak link? You cut it off! Soon there will be another man joining us. This man is a true assassin. This man is pure evil and this man will join our quest to destroy all who stand in our way. That means you Rocky Johnson! You Billy Jack Strong and most of all you Carlos Colon! You will feel the wrath of Kamala tomorrow night! Be prepared! Commercial Break Bodacious (Sommers and Donovan) w/The Vin Man vs. Sam Smith and William Hillman Vinnie is all smiles as Bodacious wins the match with a double hot shot on the top rope. On the way out, Vinnie looks in the camera and says "You're looking at the tournament winners, no doubt about it...yea!" Lance: Bodacious gets the win and look very confident as they head into the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team tournament. Fans, that all starts next Friday Night as this show will kick things off at the Will Rogers Coliseum. I... George Wells storms out with a bandaged up head. George: Lance, I'm getting real tired of wearing bandages on my head! Morrow! Tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena, it's gonna be me and you in a ghetto street fight! You're not the only one who can get down. Get ready cuz I'm gonna put a thump'n on your head! Lance: Ok, Wells and Morrow in a ghetto street fight tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena. I would hate to be Gerry Morrow right now. Commercial Break Lance: I'm here with the Mid America Champ Dick Slater. Dick, you'll be defending that title against Tully Blanchard at the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Slater: Lance, I'm a fighter and I'm a fighting champion. I'll be damned if I'm going to let Tully waltz in here and take this here title. That aint going to happen and if.... Boos as Tully and Baby Doll stroll out. Lance: Wait a minute, just hold on, I don't want any trouble out here. Tully: Relax, we're both civilized men. (looks at Slater and smirks) well at least I am. Just.... Slater decks Tully! Baby Doll screams at Slater while comforting Tully. Slater: (looking down at Tully) Boy, you talk to much. Lance: (Smiling) We'll be right back Commercial Break The Elvis version of Also Sprach Zarathustra plays A man with his back turned is wearing a king's crown and cape. "The real King of professional wrestling will appear on February 19th" Lance: Well it appears the self proclaimed King of wrestling will grace us with an appearance in 2 weeks. Fans, I can tell you Tully Blanchard was in an uproar. I'm not so sure he should of messed with Dick Slater. That match will take place next weekend along with Terry Funk defending the USWA world title against Dusty Rhodes. We all saw earlier as Dusty branded Terry with his own branding iron. Their match next weekend will be like they say, a war. All that, plus 32 teams vying for 100.000 dollars and the David Von Erich trophy. 3 nights of incredible action, all here on the USA network. It will be a historic event, one that I'm excited to be a part of. I've spoken to Marc Lowrance in Texas as well as Charlie Platt in Continental and they share the same excitement. Fans, our TV title main event when we come back. Commercial Break TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. Big Man Steel Last week Steel defeated Jeff Sword in the newly announced TV title contender's match to earn tonight's shot. Steel patiently waits as Thornton waves the UK flag in front of him. Tony smiles at Steel as he unstraps the title and holds it up in front of him. The bell rings but Thornton is still waving the flag and insulting Steel. Steel grabs Thornton by his throat, lifts him up and choke slams him down! Tony charges but Steel mows him over with a shoulder block. Thornton slowly rolls out of the ring and falls to the outside. It's all Steel as he works over Tony with power moves. Steel swings Tony to the corner and follows with a running clothesline that takes Tony off his feet. Steel swings him to the opposite corner and hits another running clothesline. Tony staggers forward and drops face first to the canvas. Steel picks up Tony and slams him down then follows with a big elbow drop 1..2..Les pulls Tony's foot under the rope and screams at the Ref. The Ref sees it and tells Steel. Steel gets up and goes to the ropes to give Les a warning. Tony staggers up but Steel turns around and scoop slams him down. Steel picks up Tony and swings him to the corner and charges in with an avalanche but Tony just collapses and Steel hits the turnbuckles hard. Tony rolls out of the ring to regroup. Les goes over to help. The Ref starts the count. Steel rolls out of the ring. Les runs away. Les gets on the apron and starts yelling at the Ref and pointing at Steel. The Ref goes over and starts arguing with Les. Boos as Kevin Kelly runs out, grabs Steel and rams him into the steel post! Kelly runs to the back. Les hops down. Tony picks up Steel and rolls him back in the ring. Tony swings off the ropes and finishes up with a showboating senton 1..2..3! Boooooos as Tony holds his TV title high while Les waves the UK flag behind him. Lance: What a shame. Big Man Steel was on the verge of winning the TV title until Kevin Kelly showed up and ruined everything. Steel comes over obviously still feeling the affects. Steel: Kelly! This place isn't big enough for both of us. Tomorrow night, Rupp arena, if you've got the guts. You and me, loser leaves town! This all ends, got it! Lance: Well I think I would have to agree. The Rupp Arena is shaping up to be a big night of USWA action. Well fans, I'll see you next week from the Will Rogers Coliseum as we kick off the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament.
  10. Doesn't get more hard hitting than a Simmons/Anvil match. Wild Bulls are quickly getting over especially with the Bullpen LOL. Iron & Steel pull off a huge win over Windham and Rotunda. Loving the Atlas/Cameron pairing. Burke and Black Gold win round 1 against the Hollywood Knights. Adams gets the fall in the 6 man match and now gets a shot at Gilbert's Pacific Title. I've been waiting for this huge match up. Can't wait for Aloha Spectacular. Scorpio and Hase defiantly got the fans warmed up. Nobody gets up from Stan's lariat! Stan could go all the way in Pacific. WOW! Badd Co. score another win over the Midnight Express. Badd Co has been built up so well here that I can't call it an upset. Candido gets some shine but Perez is really coming into his own and has a firm grip on the CA title. Damn good matches!
  11. Love the feud going on between Sheik and Adnan! This one's going to get bloody!
  12. With the addition of Hase, the Snowbirds are well represented around the globe. They score another win over the Guerreros. The Guerreros titles might be in serious jeopardy. British Steel gets a good rub tonight as Missy offers to help them out. Taylor will no doubt be a strong influence. Good back story here. Will they finally get that big win over the Hart Foundation? Black Gold debut and have their sights set on the Hollywood Knights. Speaking of Hollywood Knights, they give Zenk a lot of distractions which allow Smothers to get the win and an upcoming shot at Perez. That match might steal the show at the Aloha Spectacular. Duggan gets a big win over Boone and earns himself and Rose a tag title shot. I wonder why Rose and Easy Ed weren't to excited? We'll see how this plays out. With all the great feuds going, the Aloha Spectacular will be nothing less than spectacular.
  13. Gulf Coast Clash has arrived! Mr. Pro gets focused (and bends the rules) and defeats Ricky Gibson. Welcome to Pro Wrestling Jeff Jarrett. Man, Barnes gave the kid quite a beating until Dundee stops it with the towel. I will give Jarrett credit, he hung in there. Chicky turns heel and takes the title with one painful lowblow. It might take Armstrong a while to recuperate from that shot. Chicky was such a great heel in Puerto Rico and I cant wait to see the heat he draws here. Looks like a new feud is born between Parsons/Dynamite Duo and the Sheepherders and Boyd. Morrow comes to town and helps his new partner by blasting Taylor with a champagne bottle! With the money Fergie and Morrow have, buying more bottles isn't a problem LOL. I can't wait to see these guys in the tournament. Nightmares draw first blood but the Moondogs get payback quick. I hope we get another gimmick match. I'm enjoying this feud. Mulligan gets some big time revenge by pinning Khan and clamping the claw on Humperdink! All is well until the Moondogs hit the ring and leave Mulligan and son laying. Moondogs caused a lot of havoc tonight. LOL, Funk is so awesome! Only he would start a match with a promo. Funk and Bullet are putting on a show when DORY hits the ring and blasts Bob with the branding iron! Oh yea looks like we're going to get another round of a Funk/Armstrong family feud! The cage match lived up to my chaotic expectations and then some. Huge twist as Matt Borne turns out to be a traitor Olympia. Poor DJ must go. I do like the attention he's been getting in this game and I hope it continues wherever he ends up. The Platinum Club better be on high alert because Brody and Olympia coming after them! This was truly a fitting way to close out the Twin States name. Great job Gene!
  14. USWA releases Timothy Flowers and picks up Scott McGhee

    USWA

USWA @ The Roanne Fieldhouse 1-30-86 Powerage vs. Hard Knocks These teams have unfinish business since a double DQ eliminated them from the DVE tag tournament. The finish sees Bassarab dropkick Myers out of the ring, then climbs to the top rope. Doring hits a snap suplex on Flowers and Bassarab follows with a flying leg drop to get a satisfying win! Billy Jack Strong vs. TNT w/Curtis Iaukea After a hard hitting few minutes, Iaukea gets on the apron and holds Billy Jack. TNT charges but Billy moves and TNT hits Iaukea off the apron. Billy grabs TNT and hits a German suplex for the 1..2..3! "Bulldog" Mike George vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr George pins Barr with a quick roll up. After the match, Barr has a complete meltdown. He flips over chairs and even flips over the announcer's table. He almost starts a riot by wanting to fight several rowdy fans. Central States Tag Team Title Bout The Bruise Brothers (C) vs. High Fly'n Fever Gagne and Savoldi make the mistake of taking the fight outside the ring. Cash sends Gagne into the crowd with a jumping headbutt. A fan pours a beer on Gagne. Savoldi tries to hit Snowman with the ring bell but Snowman kicks Savoldi, snatches the ring bell and blasts him, then picks him up and executes a running powerslam on the concrete! The match ends in a double c.o. Savoldi is stretchered out while Gagne staggers along with him, holding his beer soaked head. Big Man Steel vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino w/"Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly Vinnie spends the first few minutes stalling and trying to stay away from Steel. Kelly distracts Steel. Vinnie goes to the top rope. Steel turns around and Vinnie hits a flying press 1..2..Steel throws Vinnie off him. Kelly gets on the apron but Steel gets up and sends him flying with a forearm blast. Vinnie tries to run but Steel catches him, swings him into the corner and hits an avalanche. Steel pushes Vinnie down and covers 1..2..3! Kelly runs in and nails Steel from behind. Kelly gets Steel up, barley clamps on the full nelson and slams him face first into the canvas. Kelly helps Vinnie to the back Carlos Colon and "Soulman" Rocky Johnson vs. Kamala and "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea This is a wild one! After 10 minutes of crazy fighting, the Ref takes a bump. Kamala and Johnson are fighting on the outside. Iaukea runs in the ring. Him and Lewin double team Colon. TNT runs in the ring. Lewin holds Colon. TNT executes a spin kick but Colon ducks and TNT nails Lewin! Billy Jack Strong hits the ring and hurls Iaukea out of there. Colon covers Lewin as the Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! Billy and Colon run outside and help Johnson fight off Kamala. The babyfaces finally exit. TNT helps Lewin up but Lewin pushes him away. Iaukea and Kamala get in the ring. Iaukea is berating TNT. Things get heated and Iaukea slaps TNT. TNT is livid and punches Iaukea. Lewin comes from behind and clamps the sleeper on TNT! Iaukea gets up and starts kicking TNT. Lewin throws TNT on the ground. Kamala swings off the ropes and hits a big splash! Iaukea yells for more. Lewin slams TNT and Kamala hits another splash! Cheers as Colon, Strong and Johnson come back to the ring to stop this madness. The Spoiler vs. Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones Chaos is the theme tonight. This one's a no contest as Spoiler and Super D fight all over the place before the match even starts. Jones manages a few shots but takes a few more. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes/Mid America Champ "Unpredictable" Dick Slater and The Fabulous Ones vs. Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll and The Stud Stable (The Fullers and Jimmy Golden) After a wild night of wrestling, the fans get an action packed main event. This match goes back and forth for 45 minutes. Of course it ends with all 8 men fighting. Dusty and Ron Fuller are brawling on the outside. Slater sends Tully over the top rope with a clothesline. The Fabs atomic drop Rob and Golden into each other, then put Golden down with a double dropkick 1..2..3!
  16. Historic day as Twin States morphs into Continental. With your roster, this totally makes sense. The best part is more people get to hear RPG. Always loved it when wrestlers did promos outside of the arena. Mulligan training with his son at the ranch just adds intensity to his match with Khan. I'm still wondering who put the bounty on Mulligan. Humperdink has Khan ready as he destroys 2 men. So many great tag teams here. Sheepherders and Armstrongs qualify for the DVE tournament. Who will take home the money? Speaking of money, Terry Taylor gets his shot at Mr. Money. I'm thinking Fergie has a plan. Another spot on promo by the Funker! "Mongoloid sons" LOL line of the night! I love how Funk is able to do a promo on Jarrett, the Von Erichs, Dusty, Bullet and Bad News all at once. The man sells tickets everywhere he goes. Gibson holds Mr. Pro to a draw. Mr. Pro better be more focused tomorrow night. The 6 man cage match is going to be off the charts. Throw Brody in the mix and it's going to be insanity at its best. Oh man I would hate to be Slick. I think Bad News might actually do some serious damage to him. In the end, we're going to get Funk vs. Bullet for the title! This main event sells out anywhere. I can't wait for Gulf Coast Clash! Great job building to this event.
  17. Pringle is back and Marc Lowrance is thrilled! Damn, as if Rip Oliver wasn't enough, Pringle also brings in the Kansas Jayhawks! Man, it's so good seeing Dutch and Bobby back together. This is one dangerous stable! I had a great time writing for Oliver as a tough babyface but he was such a great heel and I'm looking forward to seeing him in full heel mode with Pringle. Wild Bunch give us a wild match. They want in the tournament and they say ain't nobody can beat them! I'm glad their feud with Brooks and Miller isn't over. The Luscious hype has me very intrigued. I'm doing something similar with "The Real King of Wrestling" LOL The Highwaymen and Glamour Boys has been one of my favorite feuds. You've done a great job keeping the heat on this for a long time. This could be one of those long running feuds where they just keep coming back to each other. I hope they cross paths in the tournament. You know the tag teams are stacked if Brooks and Miller didn't get in. I know they aren't happy. Hmmmm, Miller looked a little annoyed at the "Killer's Gang" comment. OH YEA! Time for The Fiesta Garden! "For a stupid Gringo" HAHAHAHA Al has me laughing already. LOL I couldn't stop laughing when things were going like a standard interview until the Rich's are mentioned and Al's response changes the entire tone. OMG! Al actually referred to Brenda as a RAT!!! WOW! This might have Brenda in tears LOL. How on earth will she respond to that? Things take an unexpected turn as the Wild Bunch and Brooks/Miller get into a crazy brawl and destroy the set. Dusek has enough and we're going to get closure next week! Al shrugging his shoulders with a smile at the end was the topper. What a fantastic segment! Adias and Kendo put on an exciting TV title main event. The finish was great as Kendo accidently sprays Akbar and Adias hits his finisher! I wonder how Akbar will respond to all this? A ton of excitement as we approach the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Loved this show!

    USWA

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 1-29-86 Footage from Evansville is shown with the Technicians holding up the USWA tag team titles. Lance Russell: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Tremendous show lined up. Blockbuster main event as Dusty Rhodes teams with Mike George to take on Jesse Barr and the USWA World Champion Terry Funk. Also in action tonight will be Kamala, George Wells, the Super Destroyer and the Fabulous Ones. I have a big announcement regarding Dick Slater and Tully Blanchard. The RPMs will be tuning up for the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament as they will face the debuting Rose Cousins. All that and a lot more. Right now I want to bring in Jerry Jarrett. Jarrett comes to the podium. Lance: I understand you have an announcement regarding the USWA Tag Team titles. Jarrett: Yes I do Lance. Last week in Evansville, Karachi Vice defended the titles against the Technicians. The end was full of chaos and confusion as Roop had Gama pinned while Makhan had Rheingans pinned. Karachi Vice protested the result and after viewing the footage, it clearly shows the Ref made the count on the two illegal men. Unfortunately I had to overrule the Ref's decision and give the titles back to Karachi Vice. BOOOOOOOOOS! Jarrett: This is a one time deal. I want to make something clear. From now on, every decision by the Referee will be the final decision. Switching gears Lance, I just want to say how excited I am about the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Thirty Two teams Lance! Just think about that for a second. It's going to be three nights of incredible action as the best teams from the USWA, Twin States and Texas All-Star will compete for 100,000 Dollars and one impressive looking trophy. Boos as Karachi Vice come out flaunting their tag titles. Makhan: Get it straight Jarrett, it's the Karachi Vice Invitational. Normally I would be irritated with you but you actually did something right by giving us our titles back. Everybody knows we soundly defeated the Technicians. That Referee was just stupid and on the take. Gama: Brother Makhan speaks the truth. Everybody wants to see us loose these titles, even corrupt officials. However, at least you have some credibility Mr. Jarrett and saw the injustice. These titles are rightfully ours and will remain that way. Jarrett: Like I said, that was a one time deal because of the importance of the match. I have the upmost trust and respect for our officials. If I were you, I would be focused on the competition and the tournament. Gama: Who do you think you're talking to? We have never been more focused and we will prove that, if any team is brave enough to face us at the Karachi Vice Invitational! Lance: Wow that was a lot to process. I do feel bad for the Technicians and I'm sure they will be granted a rematch. Let's go to the ring. George Wells vs. Vic Dutro The fans cheer as Wells (bandage up head) back drops Dutro. Wells hops on the middle ropes. Dutro staggers up and Wells puts him down with a flying shoulder block for the win! Wells goes to the podium while Lance shows some footage. Footage is shown from Evansville of the Bodacious vs. Wells/Lance Von Erich tournament qualifying match. The finish sees Gerry Morrow shattering a bottle of champagne over Wells head, costing him and Lance the match. Wells: Morrow! You've gone way over the line this time and brother you have to pay! Next week, here on TV, it's you and me! I want the world to see what I'm about to do to ya! Lance: I don't blame him one bit. Next week it'll be Wells vs. Morrow right here. Talk about a grudge match. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I'm excited to announce a new TV title format that will begin this week. First, I would like to bring out the current TV champ, Tony St. Clair along with his manager, Les Thornton. Boos as St. Clair comes out in a UK themed robe, while Thornton waves the UK flag. Tony smiles as he opens his robe, revealing the TV title around his waist. Lance: Tony, I must say your TV title run has been nothing short of impressive. Thornton: Of course it's been impressive you dunce. The man is simply the best and you and all these American saps can't deny it. Now get on with it Lance. What's this format all about? Lance: (rolls his eyes) Ok, alright, so, starting tonight two randomly drawn wrestlers will wrestle. The winner will receive a TV title shot the following week. Which means, twice a month on TV, Tony St. Clair will be defending his title. Thornton: That's more than fine with us. All that means is Tony St. Clair will get to show all these lazy good for nothing Americans what a true champion is all about. Good day Lance. Lance: Ok well, the two names were drawn earlier and the match will take place right now. Big Man Steel vs. Jeff Sword w/Paul Jones and Doug Vines Steel spends a lot of the match not only fighting Sword but deals with distractions from both Jones and Vines. At one point, Jones distracts the Ref while Vines gets in the ring. The Duo swing Steel to the ropes but miss a double clothesline, Steel swings back and puts them both down with a clothesline! Steel picks up Sword and hits a scoop powerslam for the 1..2..3! The fans cheer. Steel gets a TV shot against St. Clair next week. Commercial Break Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Todd Rooney Kamala destroys Rooney with several thrusts and chops before putting him out of his misery with a big splash. Iaukea gets in the ring and instructs Kamala to inflict more pain. Kamala starts choking Rooney and wont let up. The Ref is yelling at Kamala to stop but the monster continues to choke the life out of Rooney. Huge pop as CARLOS COLON hits the ring and mows over Iaukea, then starts hammering away on Kamala! Boos as TNT and MARK LEWIN hit the ring. Followed by cheers as ROCKY JOHNSON and BILLY JACK STRONG run in! Its pandemonium! Fists are flying! The viewers get a good minute of fighting before a commercial ruins it. Commercial Break Lance: Oh my, things have finally settled down but this fight is a long way from over. My goodness. Right... Boos as Terry Funk and Jesse Barr storm the podium. Funk snatches the mic. Funk: A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of picking up that fat pig Dusty Rhodes and piledriving him right on (taps his title) this here title. I can't wait to whip that egg sucking dog at the David Von Erich tournament! And I don't have to because I get to do that tonight! Look at this kid (pointing to Barr) He reminds me of a Funk. He's raw and tough just like a Funk. We're going to have a fun time tonight whipp'n up on those two jack asses! Funk tosses the mic and him and Barr storm off. Lance is irritated as he picks up the mic. Lance: Let's go to the ring. The Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones vs. Royce Jenkins Destroyer dismantles his opponent before finishing him off with a Superplex! Jones leads him to the podium. Jones: Did you see that Spoiler? You're going to regret the day you embarrassed Number 1 Paul Jones! The Super Destroyer is going to humiliate you and tear you apart and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it! Lance: You seem more upset than usual. Is it because Big Man Steel got the better of your Devil's Duo tonight? Jones: Don't you start with me Lance! The Devil's Duo are a team and they will be back on track when they win the tournament and collect that money! Watch yourself Lance! Super Destroyer steps up to Lance and stares him down before leaving. Commercial Break The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Rose Cousins (Pat and Randy) RPMs look prime and ready for the DVE tournament as they control the match with quick tags, double team maneuvers and high octane offense. All four men end up in the ring. Randy lowblows Lane and hurls him out of the ring. Randy clotheslines Davis from behind. Randy hops on the middle ropes. Pat hoists Davis up in a vertical suplex position, then sets him up on Randy's shoulder. Randy has Davis in a powerslam position and crashes down on the canvas 1..2..3!! Lance: Wow! I think I would have to call that an upset. Lance waves the Rose Cousins over. The RPMs are still reeling and I'm not sure the loss has registered. Lance: Pat and Randy Rose. You guys just made your USWA debut and just upset a top ranked team that's heading into the DVE tag tournament. Randy: Hold on. Upset? If anybody is a top ranked team it's the Rose Cousins! We just put those Punks down with the Rose Bomb! And nobody gets up from that! Pat: This means we're in the tournament right? Lance: It's obvious you guys deserve to be in it but I'm afraid you've arrived just a bit to late. The 10 USWA teams have already been announced. However, I'm sure if you keep up those kinds of wins, a title shot will be in your future. Randy: That's a croc! We just proved our worth. We should be in and not those bleached blonde spandex wearing goofs. Pat: The Rose Cousins are here and we just got your attention! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign and pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the number one rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Now, before I get to my guests I have a few things to say. Somebody sent me a tape from Texas and on that tape was a man name Alvin saying some very false things about me. I assure you Alvin, everything about me is real and 100% natural, so if I were you I would choose your words more carefully. But enough about that Latin Loser and more about my show. Tonight's guests are the Central States tag team champions, the Bruise Brothers. "Boogie Fever" by the Sylvers plays as Porkchop Cash and the Snowman come out wearing matching blue wrestling pants, sparkling blue vests, gold chains, sunglasses and glitter blue bandanas. The titles are around their waists. Brenda: You guys have charisma, no doubt about it. I know you have a lot on your minds. You're the Central States Champs and you'll be in the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament in Texas. Texas, did you hear the comments that guy Alvin made about me? Snowman: Sorry Brenda, didn't catch them. The Bruise Brothers have been busy defending these here titles and getting ready to compete in the tournament. We're feeling great! Brenda: Well, he's a liar! Cash: (smiling and shaking his head) Ok Brenda, we believe ya baby. Brenda: Hey, don't make fun of me. You know something? I don't think you're going to be champions very much longer. I hear High Fly'n Fever is coming after you. Those are some really cool guys and make a great team so you're in trouble. Cash: Hey, we ain't ducking anybody! We took down the Devil's Duo and if High Fly'n Fever wants some. Snowman: Then they can come and get some! Cash: That's exactly right! Cash and Snowman high five before leaving. Brenda: I can tell they're scared. And Alvin, if you tell anymore lies about me, then you'll be running scared. I mean it! Until next week, tooooodles. The match ends when Lane superkicks Moore into a back suplex by Keirn for the pin! The fans cheer as the Fabs head to the podium. Stan and I will take down the entire family one by one! Hey Rob! Jimmy! We are hoping and praying we cross paths in the tournament! Lane: You boys are going down! Commercial Break The Elvis version of Also Sprach Zarathustra plays A man wearing a king's crown and cape has his back turned. "The real King of professional wrestling is coming soon" Lance: We keep hearing about the real King but I'm not sure if we'll ever see him. Let's go back to the ring. Lance Von Erich vs. Trent Watkins Lance body slams Watkins, then goes to the top ropes. Watkins staggers up and Lance hits a nice flying press for the win! Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our main event. I want to remind you next week, Tony St. Clair will defend the TV title against Big Man Steel. George Wells takes on Gerry Morrow in a grudge match. More tag team action as several teams tune up for the DVE tournament... Boos as The Vin Man strolls out. Vin: Don't forget Lance. Next week Bodacious will be in action. You know why? Because they're in the tournament! HA! I told you so! Vin Man was here, YEA! Lance: (pauses then looks at the camera) Our main event when we come back. Should be a barn burner. Commercial Break USWA World Champ Terry Funk and "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr vs. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "Bulldog" Mike George The bell rings and fists fly! The Ref shows a lot of leniency as these guys tear into each other. George pounds away on Barr in the corner as Dusty hammers away on Funk in the opposite corner. They swing Funk and Barr into each other. Barr staggers back as George clotheslines him down. Funk is spinning around then staggers into a bionic elbow from Dusty. The Ref finally gets control. Funk walks around, then starts flipping over chairs. Funk goes to the podium. Funk once again snatches the mic from Lance, then pushes him away. Funk: Rhodes! Rhodes! This means war! I'm going to break every bone in your putrid body! You hear me Rhodes! You will never get my title! Never! You're a dead man Rhodes! A dead man!
  19. The Snowbirds once again defeat the Guerreros. I'm sure the Guerreros are very frustrated right now. Looks like Candido has found a home with the Hollywood Knights. Man these guys are meant for each other. Missy's pretty smart as she enlists none other than Jerry Blackwell as her bodyguard! It pays off as Blackwell and Badd Co. upset the Midnight Express and Bubba. This feud is getting good. Orton and Duggan have a nice brawl where nothing is settled. Will Orton be able to hold off the challenge of Duggan much longer? Love Busick's spinebuster slam finisher. Thanks to the Dog Pound, the Thundercats are getting their enthusiasm back. This could be a fun sleeper feud. Hollywood Knights win a battle against the Brigade. I'm enjoying the Windham/Rotunda-Iron & Steel matches. Some good hard hitting action. Cabin Fever retain in a street fight over the Playboy Club. Will the Playboy Club want more? Solid house shows with something for everybody.
  20. "Cross my heart and hope you die" HAHAHAHA Landel is the greatest! I really do think Landel is going to drive Platt to drinking. "We got an angry message we thought was George Steele but it turned out to be Mike Von Erich" LOL! The Rich's and Landel on the same show is priceless! The Rich's heartfelt apology was to much, I couldn't stop laughing. They're going to get so much heat when they come back. Young Jeff Jarrett is in for a fight against Barnes. Good thing Jarrett has Dundee training him. I'm really liking this story. Oh man, Boyd brings in the Sheepherders! Twin States is the perfect place for them. Brad is fired up. When Cooley gets back, that first match with the Rich's is going to be a must see. Moondogs are wild and vicious but we all know the Nightmares can fight fire with fire. Mr. Pro gets back on track with another open challenge victory. Love the scientific heel amongst all the rowdiness in Twin States. The DVE tournament is going to be stacked! Just look at those teams. Can't wait for Gulf Coast Clash. The stipulations for the main event cage match are insane and to top it off BRUISER BRODY is going to be the enforcer! This one's going to be NUTS! LOL! Landel threatening Brody had me cracking up. Bullet Bob advances to the finals with a quick pin on Ayala. No harm done to Ayala. Bad News gets the tainted win over Taylor. I'm more than ok with this because now we get Bullet and Bad News in the finals. Man, I would love to see either of these guys wrestle Funk. Next week can't come soon enough. Another outstanding week Gene!
  21. Ron Simmons future looks bright. Pillman scores the big win over Hector. The Snowbirds have some serious momentum going as they chase the Golden State titles. Severn is not to be messed with. HAHAHA "Mr. Hollywood" Tracy Smothers. Great stuff. Watch out Pacific, the Hollywood Knights are expanding! It looks like the Dog Pound have lit a fire under the Thundercats. This is just what they needed. I wonder if some fights are going to break out in the crowd between the Bullpen and Wild Dogs? Pacific might need to amp up security. Candido turned down Burke but Douglas gladly accepts the help. Smart move. Looking forward to finding out who Burke has in mind to team with Douglas. Midnight's defeat Badd Co. in another thrilling match. Missy better find somebody to counter Big Bubba.
  22. Garea's title reign might be in trouble with Fatu coming after him. Good to see local guys Charland and Brito picking up wins. I would love to see Abdullah and Jumbo go at it. Baron's claw is as devastating as ever. Fans in New Liskeard get a treat as Pacific Champ Gilbert shows up and gets the win over Pogo.

    USWA

USWA @ The Evansville Coliseum 1-23-86 The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. High Fly'n Fever Fast paced match to kick off the night, but 10 minutes isn't enough time as they battle to a draw. "The Real Thing" Rip Morgan vs. Two local wrestlers Morgan annihilates both men before finishing things off with a big boot to the head! "Bulldog" Mike George vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr This one's a fight! After a few minutes, George is in control and Barr is bleeding. George goes nuts and starts choking Barr in the corner. As the Ref is trying to back George up, Barr lowblows George and pushes him forward with his feet on the turnbuckles for the 1..2..3! "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man vs. Big Man Steel The fight spills to the outside. Both of them are throwing some serious haymakers. The Ref's count is at 9 when Kelly slides into the ring as Vin Man holds onto Steel's boot. preventing him back in. Kelly gets the C.O. win. Steel is furious. He turns around and grabs Vin Man, then picks him up and slams him down on the floor! Kelly runs out but Steel puts him down with a clothesline. "Soul Man" Rocky Johnson vs. TNT w/Curtis Iaukea Iaukea gets in a lot of cheap shots. TNT is in control as he swings Johnson into the corner and charges in but Johnson sunset flips over him and gets the 1..2..3! TNT and Iaukea try an attack but Johnson rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. Iaukea and TNT decide not to attack. Winners will go to the DVE Memorial Tag Team Tournament Bodacious (Doug Sommers and Chick Donovan) w/The Vin Man vs. Lance Von Erich and George Wells Chick Donovan grabs the mic. " Tonight was to be the official debut of Bodacious but thanks to that Big Fat Slob, Vinnie is in the back getting medical treatment. I think it's only right that tonight's match be rescheduled until Vinnie is healthy" An official tells them "Not a chance" and instructs the Ref to start the match. It's all Wells and LVE as they have the unfocused Bodacious bumping all over the place. LVE nails Sommers with a dropkick then tags in Wells. Wells swings Sommers to the ropes and puts him down with a flying shoulder tackle 1..2..Chick breaks it. LVE runs in and pounds away on Chick. While the Ref is guiding LVE to the corner, GERRY MORROW hits the ring and shatters a bottle over Well's head!! Morrow exits as Sommers puts his arm over Wells. The Ref turns around and counts 1..2..3! LVE is a second to late. Chick helps Sommers out of the ring and raises his arm. Bodacious will go to the tournament. Where did Morrow come from??? Billy Jack Strong vs. Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea Strong gives Kamala a fight. Strong swings off the ropes and clotheslines Kamala. Kamala is reeling but doesn't go down. Strong swings off the ropes again but Iaukea trips him. Strong stumbles into a Savate kick! Kamala swings off the ropes and hits a big splash 1..2..3! Iaukea instructs Kamala to punish him. TNT hits the ring and picks up Strong but before they can do anything, Rocky Johnson hits the ring swinging a chair. That's enough to clear the ring. USWA Tag Team Title Bout Karachi Vice (C) vs. The Technicians Roop and Rheingans are on their A game tonight as they outwrestle the champs in the early moments. Karachi Vice control the next few minutes by breaking all the rules and executing some devastating double team maneuvers. Technicians come back and show off some devastating double team maneuvers themselves. It's a strong back and forth match that has the fans on the edge of their seats. All 4 men are in the ring now and going at it. It's chaos and the Ref looses control. Roop executes a running shoulder breaker on Gama while Makhan hits a scoop powerslam on Rheingans. It's a double pin and the Ref counts 1..2..3! Mass confusion going on. The Ref is talking with the announcer as Makhan helps Gama up, while Roop does the same with Rheingans. The bell rings. Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winners of this match and NEW USWA Tag Team Champions...The Technicians! The fans are up and cheering! Karachi Vice are furious and yelling at the Ref saying Makhan and Rheingans were the legal men! The Ref hands the Technicians the titles. More cheers as they hold the titles high. .
  24. I agree with Tatum and Victory, nothing like good star power to kick off the show. Tribal Nation give them a run but I loved that finish by the champs. Can't wait to find out who or what Luscious is all about. I really like the Texas Ranger gimmick and if there's one thing better than a Texas Ranger, it's two Texas Rangers. Solid debut and I'm looking forward to watching them in the DVE tournament. Akbar's new assassin Kendo has an impressive showing. LOL, love how they just bypass Lowrance and head into the Fiesta Garden. HAHAHAHAHAHA! "The REAL highest rated segment in wrestling no matter what a bottle of bleach and some silicone might have you believe" OUCH! What a shot! I hope Brenda didn't see that. Damn, that was harsh. LOL Akbar and Kendo have their sights set on Adias. Will he accept? Without Kerry around telling him what to do. WOW! Al was on a roll tonight! The tag teams are coming out and tuning up for the tournament. Good and Plenty, oh yea! I loved what you did with Candy in the WWF, so it's great to see the character back. Like the big man/little man dynamic. I loved writing for SBS, so I know this team will be a ton of fun. I knew we were in for a wild ride with Mantell and El Jefe going at it. Cartel cause the DQ but the post match beating is cut short by Casey. Man, Casey and Mantell go from the Funks to the Cartel. They defiantly aren't afraid of a fight. I think you have something going with this feud. I'll tell you, a Casey/Jefe feud over the title sounds like a lot of money. Great show as we get closer to the tournament spectacular!

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 1-22-86 Footage from the Louisville Gardens is shown as Dusty Rhodes defeats Ron Fuller to earn a USWA World Title shot at the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. USWA Champ Terry Funk attacks Dusty after the match and piledrives him on the USWA title! Lance Russell: Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Tremendous show lined up. Tonight's main event will be the Fabulous Ones taking on the Stud Stable, Robert Fuller and Jimmy Golden. The Spoiler will be in action as well as High Fly'n Fever, Mark Lewin, Billy Jack Strong, Kevin Kelly, the South Pacific Connection and the debut of Nord the Barbarian. Powerage will wrestle Hard Knocks and the winner will be invited to the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. That big extravaganza will take place on Feb. 12th, 13th and 14th, shown right here on the USA Network. We now know that Terry Funk will defend the USWA title against Dusty Rhodes at that event. We all saw what happened in Louisville and I understand next week's TV main event will tie into that. Switching gears, I want to show you footage from last week's show. Footage is shown of Tony St. Clair successfully defending his TV title in a hard fought match with Mike George. Afterwards, Jesse Barr hits the ring and attacks George. Lance: In a moment we'll see Jesse Barr in action. I was informed by Jerry Jarrett earlier this week that next week's TV main event will be Dusty Rhodes and Mike George taking on USWA Champ Terry Funk and Jesse Barr. Oh my, that should be a barn burner of a match. Let's get to the ring. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr vs. Clinton Stitch Barr swings Clinton to the corner and follows with a running knee to the mid section. Barr just unloads with kicks and punches. Barr rakes the eyes, then grinds Clinton's face across the top rope. Barr swings Clinton to the ropes and hits a belly to belly suplex for the win. Barr gives Clinton a few more stomps before heading to the podium. Lance: I don't know what your specific problem is with Mike George but... Barr: (interrupts) I don't like him! He's soft! Is that specific enough for you? Lance: Ah, um, ok, well, next week it's you and Terry Funk going up against George and The American Dream. Barr: Am I suppose to be scared? Why would I be scared when I have the one and only Terry Funk backing me up. I've already beaten that wimp George up multiple times and not even the so called American Dream can help him. Not with Terry Funk around. Mike George! I wont be satisfied until you can't walk anymore. That just might happen next week! Commercial Break Billy Jack Strong vs. Henry Jones Strong executes an overhead back suplex on Jones, then picks him up and delivers a brainbuster for the win. Footage from Louisville is shown as Kamala chokes Carlos Colon into unconsciousness. Then as Colon is being helped up, Kamala puts him back down with a kick to the head. Lance: I'm here with Billy Jack Strong. Billy, you have a monster task ahead tomorrow night when you meet Kamala at the Evansville Coliseum. You'll also have to be watching out for Curtis Iaukea. Strong: It's been my privilege fighting side by side with Carlos Colon and Rocky Johnson. The fight continues tomorrow night with you Kamala! Lance, I'm stronger than I've ever been (Double bicep pose) and I'm ready to take the monster down. Iaukea! Go ahead and interfere because I would love to put you down as well! Commercial Break Winners will go to the DVE Tag Tournament Powerage (Bassarab and Doring) vs. Hard Knock (Myers and Flowers) Flowers and Myers (wearing matching black singlets and now both men are wearing black forearm sleeves) look irritated and frustrated as they wait for their opponents. "Flick of the Switch" by ACDC plays as Powerage heads to the ring. Bassarab is wearing a 'RUSH' tank top while Doring is wearing a 'Motley Crue' tank top. Before the bell rings, Hard Knocks attack Powerage. Powerage fights back and we got a pier six brawl going on. The Ref is frantically trying to get order as fists are flying. The fight spills to the outside. After a couple minutes, the Ref throws up his hands. Bassarab and Flowers fight into the crowd as Doring and Myers fight towards the podium. Lance gets out of there as Myers and Doring fight into the podium and knock it over. The fight continues as a commercial hits. Commercial Break An advertisement is shown- Friday April 2nd...Market Square Arena...available on Closed Circuit TV... the USWA presents..."The Happening" Lance: Ok, wow, things have finally settled down. Please welcome out Jerry Jarret. Jerry, things are really heating up with the tag teams as we approach the DVE Tag Tournament. Jarrett: That's exactly right Lance. Due to what just happened between Hard Knocks and Powerage, the match was thrown out and neither team will go to the tournament. Right now I would like to name the 9 teams heading to Texas. USWA Tag Champs Karachi Vice, Central States Champs the Bruise Brothers, The Fabulous Ones, The Stud Stable, The Technicians, The Devil's Duo, The South Pacific Connection, High Fly'n Fever, and The RPMs. As far as the tenth team goes, tomorrow night at the Evansville Coliseum.. Boos as the Vin Man, Kevin Kelly and Bodacious arrive. Vin: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Hold on JJ! Bodacious is in! Why didn't you include them? Jarrett: They're not in. You just said they were. However, tomorrow night you will have your chance. Bodacious will wrestle the team of Lance Von Erich and George Wells. The winners will be the 10th team. Vin: Bodacious was in! Why are you doing this to them? It's not fair! Donovan and Sommers huddle up with Vinnie and Kevin. After a moment, they hug and smile. Vin: You know what? It wont matter. Bodacious is the best and they'll show Lance and Wells why tomorrow night. Those two don't stand a chance against these two cool and charismatic dudes. Vin smiles and looks at Bodacious. Vin: (snaps his fingers) Boys on 3. 1..2..3. All of them: (singing and bobbing their heads) We are fam-ily! Kevy, Dougy, Chicky and Vin-nie! Oh Yea! Let's go show them how it's done Kevin. Jarrett and Lance look at each other and shake their heads. Lance: Back to the ring. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly w/Vin Man and Bodacious vs. Vic Dutro Kelly finishes Dutro off with the full nelson. After the Ref signals for the bell, Kelly spins Dutro around and tosses him. Vin Man says something to Bodacious. Sommers and Donovan get in the ring, pick up Dutro and double hot shot him on the top rope. The fans boo as Vin Man's Crew have a group hug. Commercial Break The South Pacific Connection (Siva and Cocoa) vs. Sam Smith and Willie Lopez The fans are up and cheering as the Connection swings Lopez to the ropes and put him down with a double chop. Siva and Cocoa hop up on opposite turnbuckles and crash down with double diving headbutts for the win! They flash the fans the 'hang loose sign' and head to the podium. They cut an energetic promo on the DVE tag tournament and say they're coming to Texas to win and hold that trophy up high! Cocoa says it'll be good going back to Texas. Commercial Break The Spoiler vs. Gary Williams Not everyday you hear the Spoiler get cheered but after turning Paul Jones down and causing him a lot of problems at the house shows, the fans have taken quite a liking to him. Spoiler works Williams over before finishing him off with the dreaded claw! Spoiler holds up his claw as the fans cheer. WHAM!!!! Spoiler is attacked from behind by a masked man and Paul Jones! The masked man and Jones do a number on Spoiler. The masked man hoists Spoiler up on the turnbuckles and executes a SUPERPLEX! The masked man lifts Spoiler's head as Jones slaps him. Jones leads his man to the podium. Lance: Alright, just what was the meaning of that? Come on, a 2 on 1 attack from behind? Jones: Shut up Lance! I told you, nobody embarrasses me! Nobody! Please allow me to introduce the newest member of the Paul Jones Army, the greatest masked wrestler ever, the Super Destroyer! That's right! And he's coming for you Spoiler! What he just did was just a taste. I want to see you suffer and suffer you will, at the hands of the Super Destroyer! Lance: I can see they're going to be trouble. Commercial Break Footage from Louisville is shown of the Technicians defeating High Fly'n Fever to earn a USWA Tag Title shot. The Technicians vs. Carl Kellerman and Dave Dougherty Roop executes a shoulder breaker on Kellerman, then tags in Rheingans. Roop holds Kellerman in armbar as Rheingans comes of the top rope with a knee to the shoulder for the win. Technicians head to the podium. Lance: Big opportunity for you guys in Evansville tomorrow night as you face Karachi Vice for the tag team titles. Roop: Lance, you're looking at a pure wrestling team. We're a well oiled machine and as you just saw, more than ready for Karachi Vice. Rheingans: Karachi Vice have been coming out here and disrespecting all the great teams as well as the David Von Erich Memorial tournament. We've got news for you Karachi Vice. You're not going into the tournament as champs. Boos as Karachi Vice come out. Makhan: Hey, wait a minute, I don't remember us sending you chumps an invitation to the Karachi Vice tag team invitational. So you two mutts just keep your mouths shut and listen to the wise and great Gama. Gama: Thank you brother Makhan. No, we did not send these two weaklings an invitation. They do not have what it takes to compete in our invitational. But somehow, the corrupt people in charge think they deserve a title shot. I do not understand this. You call yourselves a top team but yet here we are as the champions. These belts say we're not only a top team but we are the very best and there's no way an inferior team like you stands a chance against champions like us! Roop: You two love to talk a great game but trust us, tomorrow night you both are in for the wrestling lessons of a lifetime. Rheingans: Talking isn't really what we're about. We'll just have to show you tomorrow night. The Technicians each tap the titles before leaving. This infuriates Karachi Vice. Gama: You trust me, a message to every team will be sent tomorrow night at their expense. After that, nobody will want to come to the Karachi Vice Invitational. Commercial Break "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Ray Glader Lewin just destroys his opponent before finishing him off with the sleeper. The bell rings but Lewin's eyes are rolled up as he continues to wrench away. Iaukea runs in and kicks Glader while Lewin continues to wrench away. Cheers as Billy Jack Strong hits the ring! Strong nails Iaukea. Lewin picks up Glader and throws him at Strong. Lewin wants Strong but Iaukea holds him back and says "Not yet" They exit as Strong attends to Glader. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Now, last week was the best show I've ever done. I mean come on, Gerry Morrow and Carl Fergie on my show along with champagne. That was so cool. Well, that's a tough act to follow and even though my guest tonight is a champion, I really don't think he will come close to last week's fun. Please welcome out the Mid America Champion, Dick Slater. Huge pop as Slater comes out with the title on his shoulder. Britton: Well Dicky Boy. You mind if I call you that? I got that from my good friend Doctor Dream Machine. Slater: Oh yea, whatever happened to that guy? Oh that's right, I ran him out of town! Britton: You watch it! You have a lot of wrestlers who want a shot at that title and I don't think you'll be holding it much longer. Slater: Brenda, I've beaten the best and..... Britton: Oh my! This is truly a shocking surprise! Big time boos as Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll come out. I mean big time boos. Baby Doll circles Slater and strokes his title, then steps back and shakes Britton's hand. Tully holds Brenda's hand and smiles as he shakes it. Tully's wearing a suit and sunglasses. He takes off his glasses. Tully: You know Brenda. Your show is the talk of the wrestling world. I told my perfect 10 Baby Doll that we just had to make an appearance. I see you have the Mid America champ on here. Slater, why don't you take a walk because the real NWA World Champion is here. Brenda I'm all yours. Slater: Hold on Tully, did you say real NWA champ? Last I heard, you said I Quit to Magnum TA and lost that title. Huge cheers. Tully is livid. Tully: Listen up Slater! I never said those words! I QUIT! I QUIT! I never said it! That big doofus Bill Watts had it out for me and paid off the Ref. That's what happened, so you better watch yourself! Slater: Don't you threaten me boy! Britton: Ok, stop causing trouble Dicky Boy. There are beautiful ladies present. Tully: Tell you what Slater. Since I'm a champion and since I once ruled this place, a shot at your title shouldn't be a problem for you...should it? Another title would look good around my waist. You got the guts? Slater: Just say when! But know one thing. I won't stop beating on you if you happen to say I Quit! Slater leaves as the fans cheer. Tully takes off his suit jacket and throws it down. Baby Doll calms him down. Britton: Don't let him bother you. He's classless. As for me, having a true champion like you along with the lovely Baby Doll made me forget all about Dicky Boy. Wow! It's great to have you two out here on my show, Tully: (calms himself) Brenda, it was our pleasure. I'll tell you what, when I take that Mid America Title from Slater, I will celebrate on this very show. Britton: Did you hear that everybody? I told you, this is the show where everything happens. Until next week, tooooodles. Commercial Break Another special message is shown. Elvis Presley's version of Also Sprach Zarathustra plays A Man with his back turned is wearing a king's crown and cape. "The Real King of Professional Wrestling is coming" Lance: We keep hearing about this King coming. We'll see what this is all about. I can't believe Tully Blanchard is on the scene. I had no idea he was coming here. He's already in hot water messing with Dick Slater. Well fans, we're set for another debut. Should be a wild one. Nord the Barbarian vs. Keith Rowe Nord storms around the ring, stomping and huffing. The bell rings and he just squashes poor Keith Rowe. Nord swings him to the ropes and nearly decapitates him with a clothesline to get the easy win. Nord stomps his way to the podium. Lance: (A bit nervous) Tremendous debut. Nord tell us about yourself. Nord: I'm a loud person Lance! I yell as loud as I want! I beat people up and get paid to do it! That's what I'm all about! Loud and big! And aint nobody gonna do anything about it! Nord leaves. Lance: Ok, the man is straight to the point. Well, everybody should be talking about High Fly'n Fever. Savoldi: That's right! Tell em Greg. Gagne: All you nerds, that includes you Lance, are looking at the winners. That's a fact! Something else we're going to get is the Central States Tag titles. Savoldi: (Laughs) That won't be a problem. Gagne: No, it really wont. Those two dancing clowns won't know what to do when they face our arsenal. We're High Fly'n Fever and you better catch it! Lance: (Rolls his eyes) Our main event when we come back. Ron gets up and slides a chair into the ring. Rob grabs it and blasts Keirn from behind! The Ref staggers to his knees and sees Rob covering Keirn. He crawls over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOO! Lance: What a miscarriage of justice. I don't even think the legal men were involved in the outcome. The poor Ref took a big hit and i can't blame him for being groggy. But I do blame Ron Fuller for... The Fullers and Golden come to the podium. Ron: Lance, the Stud Stable is here to run things. I hope everybody received our message loud and clear. My bother Rob and cousin Jimmy have their sights set on winning the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament and nobody better get in their way, that includes those teenie bopp'n boys the Fabulous Zeros. And I want Dusty Rhodes to hear this. Dusty, we're not done boy. Not by a long shot. Stud Stable exits Lance: The Fullers and Golden certainly made a statement but I know The Fabulous Ones will want another go at them. Fans, I'll see you next week as Dusty Rhodes and Mike George will take on USWA Champ Terry Funk and Jesse Barr. Should be a wild one and don't forget about our big night of action in Evansville tomorrow night. I'll see you next week.
