  1. Tis the season. Santa Slam time! Nice added touch by having Mr. Pro use a handful of tights to beat Iceman is a "pure" wrestling match. I'm telling you, you're onto something with Kiniski. Hamilton is injured but Norvell finds himself a great replacement in Brickhouse! They win the match but what happens next is another story. After taking the wrestling world by storm, the Fabulous Blonds are no more. I should of known Embry couldn't play peacemaker for very long. I have to say it, the Fabulous Blonds had a fabulous run in this game. Nice bonus as Armstrong and Chicky give the fans an exciting 15 minutes of action. Rumor is, somebody from the USWA is ready to make a challenge to Armstrong's Jr. title. I think Karachi Vice should call the Moondogs and thank them LOL. Oh man, Killer Khan gives Brisco a brutal beating and sends him out on the stretcher. Is this the end of Jerry? I can't wait til Mulligan comes back. That's going to be a main event type feud with Khan. Dundee couldn't of found a better partner as Adrian Street has arrived! This wild team gets the win but Barnes gets the last laugh with that coke bottle shot. I'm sure this will be the end of glass bottles at wrestling events, especially in Twin States LOL. Mr. Money's insurance policy pays off as Bad News made sure he walked out with his title. Could we be getting a Bullet/Bad News feud? Oh man I hope so. As if the Rich's weren't already hated enough. Not only did they leave Cooley and Armstrong laid out but they stole their titles! That's some serious heat. This feud is going to get nasty. Olympia and Landel give the fans one heck of a main event! Santa had a very busy week in wrestling. This is a heel Santa and he helps Landel win the title. Not satisfied. Landel even unmasks Olympia! I don't know who got more heat tonight, the Rich's or Landel. I should throw Embry in that mix as well. I know we're going to get some classic Landel promos from this. Santa Slam delivered. Outstanding as always Gene.
  2. LA is a special place for Pacific. The fans here always get some pretty spectacular cards and tonight was no different. As much as Smothers has become a hated heel, it's Kabuki that pulls out some nasty heel tactics on the Ref, even getting himself suspended. I cracked up when Smothers thought this whole thing was laughable. Clever way in keeping Smothers heat. Yea I would call Busick and Bigelow's win over the Pacific Warlords impressive. These powerhouses will be the team to watch in 86. I thought Adams might be getting in over his head but he's taking advantage of all the chaos and is getting the better of British Steel. Guerreros and Badd Co. give us another classic. I love these encounters. Badd Co. are making a great chase. Will they have the Guerreros number one night? Oh man Brigade pull off a big win over the Freebirds and send them packing. This is a pretty huge deal and gives the Brigade massive credibility as a unit. I will say, Gordy's title run was one of my favorites in the game. Gilbert has proven to be a fighting champion by taking on all comers. Tonight he faces the monster Boone. Boone gave Gilbert a scare but Gilbert manages to pull out the c.o. win. After this showing, I would think Boone will get a rematch down the road.
  3. Smothers is quickly establishing himself as a serious threat. Tonight he sends Beefcake packing. Beefcake really found himself in Pacific. Cameron is living up to his "Lethal" name. With his new attitude, he's going to be hard to stop. Thundercats are rolling but I'm very curious on who this new mystery team is coming in to face them. I don't think Adams should be messing with British Steel while he's preparing for a title shot with Gilbert. However, he does have the Hart Foundation watching his back. Just when you think Rose is on his last legs, he issues a challenge with a mystery partner in mind. Crazy Gang better not take this lightly.

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 12-24-85 Special 2 hour Christmas Eve Special Lance Russell: Hello everybody and a very Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. As a gift to you great fans, tonight's special 2 hour program will include 3 title matches. Also Lance Von Erich will go one on one with Jessie Barr. We'll hear from USWA world champ Terry Funk about his upcoming title defense against Carlos Colon right here next week. Jerry Lawler will be in the arena tonight. Should be...oh, well, would you look who we have coming out (laughing) none other than Santa Claus. Santa goes to the podium and hands Lance a gift, then goes around the ring and hands out gifts to the front row fans. Lance: Well it wouldn't be Christmas Eve without Santa. Fans let's get to the ring in what should be a tremendous match up. Lance Von Erich vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jessie Barr The bell rings but Barr is storming around on the outside and yelling at the fans. He even has some harsh words for Santa Claus. Barr gets in the ring and charges Lance but Lance hip tosses him over. Barr gets up but Lance sends him through the ropes with a dropkick. Barr staggers around then flips over a chair. Barr gets up on the apron and starts pointing and yelling at Lance. Lance goes over, Barr takes a swing but Lance ducks, grabs Barr and back suplexes him back in the ring. Lance continues his onslaught until he swings Barr to the corner and rushes in but Barr bumps the Ref and Lance collides with him. Both Lance and the Ref go down. Lance slowly rises but Barr nails him with a lowblow. Barr rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair then starts to get back in the ring, but wait. The fans go wild as Santa Claus nails Barr from behind with his bag of gifts!! Santa starts nailing Barr with forearm blasts then body slams him on the concrete. Santa takes off his beard and hat. It's MIKE GEORGE! The fans are cheering. George picks up Barr, rams him into the steel post then rolls him back in the ring. Lance Von Erich has no idea what just happened. He gets up, then drops an elbow on Barr. The Ref slowly crawls over and counts 1..2..3!! Lance: I knew Mike wasn't cleared to wrestle for the TV title tonight but Santa Mike gets a measure of revenge on Jessie Barr. After what Barr did to Mike George a few weeks ago, it looked like he was on the naughty list. (laughing) we'll be right back with our first title bout. Commercial Break Central States Tag Team Title Bout The Bruise Brothers (C) vs. The Devil's Duo w/Goldie Rogers This one's hard hitting and goes back and forth. After a few minutes chaos ensues as all 4 men are in the ring brawling. Goldie gets on the apron just as the Bruise Brothers hit stereo back drops on the Duo. Bruise Brothers run over and send Goldie flying off the apron with a double punch. Duo gets up and attacks. Everybody keeps fighting and the Ref finally signals for the DOUBLE DQ. The bell's ringing but the fists keep flying. Lance: My goodness, they're fighting all the way to the back. I'm sure those two teams will meet again. Fans, the tag team division here in the USWA is at an all time high as far as competitiveness goes. I'm sure a lot of teams want a shot at the Central States titles. Boos as the USWA Tag Team Champs, Karachi Vice comes out. Gama: Why are you talking about the Central States tag champions when you should be talking about us, the USWA world tag team champions. Makhan: That's right! We've held these titles since June and nobody has come close to beating us. Nobody! Lance: Fair enough but next week right here on TV, you will defend those titles against the Nightmares from Twin States. Gama: Who cares! We told you. It doesn't matter who Jerry Jarrett sends in. The result will always be the same. These belts will be around our waists for a very long time. I promise you that Lance Russell! A highlight package courtesy of Twin States shows the Nightmares in action. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, you're about to see the debut of a phenomenal young athlete. Let's check him out. "The Mega Man" Tom Magee vs. Vic Dutro The fans take a quick liking to this muscle specimen as stands on the top rope then flips himself into the ring! Magee dominates the match with power moves. He presses Dutro over his head then slams him down. He picks up Dutro, swings him hard into the turnbuckles, grabs his waist and hits a German Suplex for the win! Lance: My goodness, Mega Man come on over. Welcome to the USWA. I've heard about all your strongman records and it's quite obvious just looking at you. Magee: Thank you very much Lance. I've set many strongman records and I'm very proud of those accomplishments. And now I want to make the same impact in the wrestling business. I started about a year ago and have worked in Japan and Canada gaining some valuable experience. I'm so pumped up to be in the USWA! I'm excited Lance! Lance: Ok, the Mega Man is here. I'm looking forward to watching this young powerhouse. We'll be back. Another Video of the Fabulous Ones is shown to the Busboys "Boys are back in town" Commercial Break "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino vs. Willie Lopez Vinnie is in full Vin Man mode as he brings out his lady entourage. He gives each lady a peck then gets in the ring. Vinnie works at a fast pace before winning the match with an impressive flying body press from the top rope. Of course Vinnie escorts his entourage to the podium and is joined by his friend Kevin Kelly. Lance: You looked good tonight Vinnie. Better than I thought especially after that beating you took from the Grapplers at Wrestlestorm. Kelly: Shut up Lance! Vinnie: Yea, shut up Lance and listen up. First off, the Grapplers are dead men walking because they have the Road Warriors to worry about. Now I told you that 1986 will be the year of the Vin Man and it will be. Because the Vin Man is getting his crew back together. As you see Mr. Magnificent is here. He's the real deal, not like that phony Magee. Kelly smiles and does a double bicep pose. Kelly: This is what a chiseled body looks like. Little man Magee simply doesn't compare. Vinnie: (laughs) You got that right Kev! Now a crew wouldn't be a crew without a tag team. And Lance in a matter of weeks you're going to see the greatest tag team ever. You want to know their name? Lance: I'm sure you're going to tell me either way. Kelly: I thought I told you to shut up! Lance: Alright, just relax. Go ahead and tell me their name. Vinnie: Are you ready? (Dramatic pause and air drum roll) BODACIOUS! Man I love that name! Don't you? Lance: (smirking) One of the best I've heard Vinnie: Kev's right. Just shut up! Commercial Break Footage is shown of Duke Myers defeating Siva Afi (with help of Timothy Flowers and a loaded arm sleeve) to earn a Mid America title shot Mid America Title Bout "Unpredictable" Dick Slater (C) vs. "Master of Disaster" Duke Myers Myers attacks at the bell and takes it to Slater. Myers punches Slater down then stomps away. Myers grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Slater then chokes him on the bottom rope. Myers picks up Slater and slams his head on the turnbuckles, then body slams him and follows with an elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Myers picks up Slater and swings him into the corner and charges in but Slater lifts his knees and Myers crashes into them. Slater starts firing himself up then fires away on Myers with punches. Slater hops in the middle ropes and crashes down with a double axehandle. Boos as Timothy Flowers comes out and starts yelling up at Slater. Slater goes over and yells back. Myers staggers up and nails Slater with a forearm blast to the back of then head. Flowers laughs and cheers his partner on. Cheers as Siva Afi runs out and blasts Flowers! Siva hammers away. Myers sees this and heads to the ropes. Slater gets up and nails Myers with a flying knee to the back. Slater grabs Myers and hits a swinging neckbreaker 1..2..3!!! HUGE POP! Slater retains! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink neon 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: (wearing an Elf cap) Hi everybody and Merry Christmas. I know I've been a good girl this year just because of the guest I have tonight. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's my privilege to have such an incredible wrestler out here on my show. Please welcome out the Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller! Fuller comes out smiling and kisses Brenda's hand. Britton: Oh my, I sure know why they call you Stud. That you are. Fuller: Thank you Brenda. You know, the only way I was going to come back to the USWA, was if I got to be a guest on your star studded show. I'm a big fan you know. Britton: Such a compliment coming from a Stud like you. Now, your sights are high because next week on TV, you are going to face none other than the King himself, Jerry Lawler. Personally I don't think a King stands a chance against a real Stud like you. Fuller: You say all the right things Brenda. The only thing I have my sights set on is the USWA World Title. I'm not going to waste any time. I'm going to beat Lawler next week and that should be enough for a title shot. Lawler, you're just a stepping stone that's in my way boy. I'm going to beat you on TV in your own backyard. Once that's done, it's on to the world title. Brenda this has been a thrill. Fuller once again kisses her hand before exiting. Brenda: Well that was exciting! He defiantly is world title material. Lawler, you're in big trouble. Until next week, toooooodles. Commercial Break The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. William Hillman and Todd Rooney RPMs are in synch tonight as they take it to their opponents. They finish things off with the Spandex Split! RPMS cut a promo and say they've been near the top of the USWA all year but in 1986 they promise to win some gold. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I'm here with Carlos Colon. Carlos, you get a much deserved world title shot against Terry Funk next week on our New Year's Eve special. Before we hear from you, let's hear some comments sent in by the champ Terry Funk. Funk is sitting by his fireplace with his world title up on his mantel. Funk takes a swig from his beer bottle. Funk: All I wanted for Christmas was the world title and I got it a little early. So now I'm here in Amarillo celebrating my title win and Christmas with my family. I just got done giving Johnny Mantell a beating he'll never in his life forget. And now I get to end the year by giving that banana eating savage Carlos Colon a beating he'll never forget. If Carlos Colon thinks he has a prayer of taking this title from me then he better think again and pray harder. He better pray that I show him a little holiday mercy. But you know what? I'm not going to show him any damn mercy. He doesn't deserve it. I told you people 1986 will be the year of the Funker and (points up at his title) that title proves it! Now get out of here because I want to enjoy the holiday cheer. Funk finishes his beer and throws it in the fireplace. The bottle shatters. Funk opens another beer and drinks it while the scene fades. Lance: Tough task ahead Carlos. I have to ask, any distractions from what happened last week with Curtis Iaukea and TNT? And something about a monster coming? Not sure what to make of all that but it has to be a bit distracting. Colon: Lance, I've worked hard all year and was involved in some bloody ring wars. My shot is finally here and I can't let Curtis Iaukea be a distraction. I will warn him and say if he gets involved in any way, I will make him pay dearly. As for you Terry Funk, we've met before and you do not intimidate me in any way. I want that title and next week (pumps his fists) I will win it! Lance: Ok, huge world title bout right here next week. Fans, our open challenge TV title bout when we return. Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as Les Thrornton issues an open challenge on behalf of a less enthused Tony St. Clair. Thornton and St. Clair are in the ring exchanging some words as they await the challenger. Les is telling Tony to just relax. Lance: Ok, the challenger is set to come out. Oh my! Here comes the Texas Ranger from Texas All-Star Wrestling! Fans, you're in for a real treat. This man has impressed a lot of people, myself included. He's an extremely talented and outstanding competitor. Let's get to the ring. TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. The Texas Ranger The bell rings and Tony looks very confused and doesn't know what to make of the Ranger. Les looks a little worried as well. He pats Tony on the back and exits the ring. They lock up and Ranger arm drags him over. Another lock up and another arm drag by Ranger. Tony gets up and charges but Ranger hip tosses him over. Tony gets up and charges again and another hip toss by Ranger. Tony slides out of the ring and shows some rare frustration. Les goes over to calm him down. Tony slowly gets back in the ring. Tony applies a headlock. Ranger pushes him to the ropes and puts him down with a shoulder block. Ranger swings off the ropes. Tony staggers up and Ranger dropkicks him down. Once again Tony rolls out of the ring as the fans boo. Him and Les have words. Tony gets on the apron and yells at Ranger. Ranger nails Tony with a forearm blast then vertical suplexes him back in the ring. Ranger hops on the middle ropes and drops an elbow 1..2..Kick Out. Ranger picks up Tony and atomic drops him. Tony is wobbling on his feet. Ranger swings off the ropes and clotheslines him down 1..2..Tony barley gets his shoulder up. Les is having a panic attack. Ranger picks up Tony but Tony desperately rakes his eyes the swings him towards the corner but Ranger jumps up on the middle ropes and comes back with a flying press 1..2..Les reaches in and pulls Ranger's boots. Both Ranger and the Ref get up and yell down at a denying Thornton. Tony staggers up and charges at Ranger but Ranger turns around and unloads on Tony. He fires away, swings him to the ropes and hits a big back drop. Les gets on the apron and Ranger dropkicks him off. Tony staggers up and Ranger scoop slams him down. The fans are going wild as Ranger hoists Tony up on the turnbuckles. Ranger hops up and is going for the superplex. Ranger has Tony up but Les gets up and holds Ranger's foot. Ranger falls down with Tony on top 1..2..(Les still holding the foot)..3!!! Lance: What a travesty! The Texas Ranger was in total control of that match and was on the verge of winning the TV title. What a shame! Oh great, here they come. Tony, how can you be pleased with that win? Tony: Les, for the past few weeks we have not seen eye to eye on things. I'm a champion and should conduct myself as such. All I have left to say is...Thank You! HAHAHAHA! What? Did you inferior Americans think there was trouble between us? The only thing that matters is this TV title and me retaining it for UK glory! Oh what because I shook Sweet Brown Sugar's hand at Wrestlestorm, you peasants thought I was having a change in attitude? I will admit, Sugar was a true competitor and I love competition but just like all you Americans, he came up short just like that masked baffoon in there. Lance: I really did think you were changing for the better. Boy, was I fooled. Les: Yes you were. We represent the United Kingdom. Nothing else matters. We came here to prove UK's wrestling superiority and we have achieved that. Tony St. Clair defeated the great Rick Martel 7 months ago to win this title and Tony has more than proven why he is in fact simply the best! Good day Lance, and it will be a very happy new year for us indeed. Lance: (disgusted look) We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, next week on our New Year's Eve special, Karachi Vice will defend the USWA tag titles against the Nightmares. Terry Funk defends the USWA World title against Carlos Colon. And Ron Fuller will wrestle my guest at this time Jerry The King Lawler. Huge pop as Lawler comes out. Lance: Great to have you back King. You heard Fuller earlier. Your thoughts? Lawler: It's really great to be back here on TV Lance. As you know, my only goal is to win back that USWA world title. Well, it appears Ron Fuller has the same goal. But let me tell you something Fuller. I'm nobody's stepping stone and if you think I am, well you're in for a rude awakening next week. I went through some down time after I lost the title at Wrestlestorm but I want all my fans to know, I'm back on track and I will get through Fuller next week and I will get the World title back and bring it home! Lance: Ok, there you have it. Fans, Merry Christmas and I'll see you on New Year's.
  5. Nice series of house shows as we head into Santa Slam. I like the push Mr. Pro is getting. I've mentioned this already but I think you're going to get this guy over big time. Poor Donovan took a lot of falls. I'm sure the Platinum Club noticed. Dundee and Barnes are going at it. Rich's scored a big win over the Nightmares. We got a taste of Bullet/Fergie and Landel/Olympia in some hot tag matches. I liked Bullet's and Olympia's final words on the mic. The fans are going to be rock'n in Huntsville tomorrow night!
  6. Busick and Bam Bam score a HUGE win over the Freebirds! The champs better be watching out for this powerhouse team. Nice to see Burke pick up a solid win over Leaping Lanny. British Steel put in another valiant effort but the Hart Foundation just have that experience factor going for them. Thundercats find a surprise partner in Jerry Blackwell. It pays off as they get a big win over the Guerreros. I wonder where Cameron was? Orton retains again, this time over the popular Beefcake. The New Year's Show sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Great way to finish off 85 and kick off 86. I really like the direction Pacific is heading.
  7. Smothers wins the battle of the Southern Boys and sends Armstrong packing. This feud has elevated Smothers and he could be a serious contender for the CA title. Cameron is on an impressive streak. Randy Rose becomes another victim of the Heart Punch and does the stretcher job. Then we find out Red is leaving! What a classy and strong way to exit. Because of you, Texas Red is going to be a big player in this game. I see quite the future for this young big man. And British Steel gets a nice rub. Playboy Club still has some fight left as Cabin Fever found out. Never count Buddy Rose out as I'm sure he'll regroup and be ready for 1986. After causing a lot of havoc in Pacific, Jake is gone! Brigade took a lot of beatings from Jake and co. but in the end they come out the winners. Can the Brigade ride this momentum into the new year? I would bet on it. YES! We get a taste of Gilbert vs. Adams and judging by the result, it looks like we're going to be in for a wild ride. This has the potential to be one of those talked about feuds for years to come.
  8. Olympia and Landel one on one with no distractions. For some reason I think Landel is already plotting. Nightmares tune up for their big USWA tag title shot but get hammered by the Moondogs. I'm sure Karachi Vice appreciated this. Chicky Starr has arrived and has his sights set on the Jr. Title. The Rich's vs. Armstrong and Cooley is going to be an awesome feud. Nice job reminding the fans about the history between Johnny and Cooley. I really enjoyed writing that feud and I'm excited to see it continue. Trouble between the Blondes? Say it ain't so! Oh man the parking lots are the most unsafe places to be these days. Garvin is out and Dundee is bringing in a mystery partner. Can't wait to see who he gets. Khan and Brisco get in some nice TV time as they get ready to face each other. Humperdink says Khan is going to retire Jerry but never count a Brisco out. Ayala is coming!!!!! HAHAHA! Fergie is the best! He's got to come to Memphis and hang out with Gerald LOL. Bullet Bob better be ready because Fergie has quite the insurance policy with Bad News. Mr. Pro is here! I like the pure wrestling heel gimmick. I really think this gimmick will get over surrounded by all the crazy brawling. I'm going to keep an eye on Kiniski. We'll see who steps up to challenge him at Santa Slam. Speaking of Santa Slam, the card is freak'n stacked!!! What a way to cap off the year. WOW! Scott Armstrong regains the Jr. title! Even after his loss, Embry keeps the peace. What a guy. I'm so glad Twin States came on the scene this year and the USWA made the right decision to partner up.
  9. Hart and Missy are really going at each other. Pacific might not be big enough for both of them. The Dog Pound are gaining a lot of experience but Busick and Bam Bam are in synch and might even be unstoppable. The Brigade is back on track! Zenk wants Snake bad and could end up sending him packing. Blackwell gets in a nice win over Starr. It's now only a matter of time before Gilbert and Adams go one on one for the title.
  10. Damn Bleh what a pay off! Gaylord gets the night off to a crowd pleasing start as he puts down Sharpe. I enjoyed this fun program and this win elevates Gaylord. Ok here we go! Cowboys vs. Bikers in a bunkhouse brawl! This fight was everything I thought it would be and more. These guys took the fight everywhere. Nice touch by ending this the way it all began with Brooks and Bart. Bart gets the sweet satisfying win. I wonder what's next for both sides? After an action packed tournament, we're down to Deaton and Adias. These guys delivered a solid match that could of gone either way. Nice finish as Adias avoids the bulldog and executes the Russian Leg Sweep for the win! I always thought the Leg Sweep was an exciting finish. Adias is a perfect choice to hold the TV title. LOL, when Terry Funk comes to town with the USWA title, he calls the shots. Funk immediately gets nuclear heat by tearing into Sunshine. Only Terry Funk LOL. After all that I died laughing when he wanted a handshake and scientific match. Mantell was on his A game and took it to the champ. Funk bumps are the best in the business. I agree with the DQ finish. Keeps Mantell strong and sets up a money making rematch. Great match. Following a world title match isn't easy but Spoiler and Jones pull it off. If this is the last match of Jones's career then he went out with a bang and even gets respect by Spoiler. However, Spoiler's firing of Akbar came back on him as Kendo shows up with the always deadly green mist. Apparently Akbar is satisfied. The top teams go at it with high stakes. Right off the bat the Tribal Nation is eliminated. That was a surprise but defiantly sets the tone for more surprises ahead. Tatum and Victory pull one over on the Highwaymen to stay in the match. Of course somehow Dark Journey had to get involved as she helps her boys win the titles! Tatum and Victory have done it! Texas wont be the same. The promos alone will be must see TV. The entrances said it all for the anticipated El Jefe/Cocoa match. The scene where Cocoa was doing his war dance with a painted face while Jefe smoked his cigar had me rolling. Man did these guys fight! I loved this match. It was built up so well and the hatred was so believable. Jefe even brought a wrench into this, good grief! Cocoa had things going his way until Fidel and Santana show up and finish him off for Jefe. What a fight! I'm happy that Fidel is back with you. I liked what you did with him in the WWF. This blow off was incredible and El Jefe might end up running Texas. After a wild night of Texas wrestling we get a pretty dang good wrestling match between Casey and Dory. We had an outstanding technical match going but when a Ref goes down things are going to get crazy. And nobody is crazier than Terry Funk LOL. Things backfire as Sunshine and Mantell get involved. The branding iron comes into play and Casey retains! This could lead to something huge in Texas. Funks vs. Casey/Mantell will be money! This is because Casey and Mantell have been built up so well. Awesome show and amazing writing! Props to all the hard work you put into this show. I'm sure your Texas roster appreciates the holiday break they're getting. A lot of these guys are going to need the rest. 1986 here we come!
  11. I really like the format and look of this promotion. Good choice with Richter being the franchise. She defiantly has a lot of challenges ahead. It's great to see Leilani Kai immediately making a splash. Keep up the great work!

    USWA

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 12-18-85 Lance Russell: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Right now I want to talk about two big TV specials coming up. First, on Christmas Eve, you will see Dick Slater defend the Mid America Title against Duke Myers. The Bruise Brothers will defend the Central States tag titles against The Devil's Duo. I'll have news regarding the TV title bout a little bit later. Next up, on New Years Eve, you will see Jerry Lawler go up against Ron Fuller. Karachi Vice will defend the USWA tag titles against the Nightmares from Twin States. And listen to this, Terry Funk will defend the USWA World Title against Carlos Colon. Speaking of Colon, I understand he was challenged to a match tonight and has accepted. I'm not sure.... All of a sudden, a man storms out. Lance: Curtis Iaukea! What on earth are you doing here? Curtis: Many years ago I had a vicious rivalry with a vicious enemy! A lot of these scars on my forehead are from him. We spilled a lot of blood in the midst of all our wars in the ring! That enemy's name is Tiger Jeet Singh! After 15 long years Singh contacted me. He told me I was the only one on this planet more evil than him. He said if there was one man who could destroy Carlos Colon it would be me! Singh offered me a lot of money and I accepted! It starts tonight when Colon faces this man...a man who knows Colon, a man who despises Colon and a man who wants to destroy Colon. His name is TNT. TNT comes out and does a martial arts demonstration then folds his arms. Curtis: Colon! If you thought dealing with Singh was dangerous, you are in for the awakening of your life! Curtis and TNT head out. Lance: That was unnerving. I still don't think Colon should get into this until after his upcoming title shot but we all know Colon will never duck a challenge. Colon takes on TNT later tonight. Commercial Break Technicians vs. Willie Lopez and Vic Dutro Technicians just pick their opponents a part. Roop executes a shoulder breaker on Dutro then tags in Rheingans. Roop holds Dutro in an armbar as Rheingans comes off the top rope with a knee to the shoulder for the pin! Technicians cut a promo and say they're back together and on the path to the titles! Commercial Break "The Real Thing" Rip Morgan vs. Sam Smith Rip storms the ring and just destroys his opponent before finishing him off with a big boot to the head! Rip huffs and stomps around the ring then heads to the podium. Lance: (A little nervous) Rip, at Wrestlestorm, Leilani Kai said you were now unleashed. I notice you don't have your chain with you. Rip: I am unchained and unleashed! That means I can inflict as much pain as I want on anybody I want, anytime I want! Hercules Ayala felt my wrath and he's nowhere to be found! Anybody who gets in my way (Slaps his hand) will get hurt very badly! Rip huffs and stomps around before leaving. Lance: I really wish Leilani Kai was around to keep that madman on a chain. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, listen to this. At WrestleStorm, Ben Bassarab and Scott Doring battled it out to a draw. Well tonight they will compete as a team. They've even got a name. Let's check out Powerage. Powerage vs. Carl Kellerman and William Hillman "Flick of the Switch" by ACDC plays as Powerage enters the ring. Bassarab is wearing a RUSH tank top and Doring is wearing a Motley Crue tank top. The fans like what they see as Powerage is in total domination. Doring swings Hillman to the ropes and hits a big powerslam then tags in Bassarab. Bassarab goes to the top and hits a flying leg drop for the pin! Bassarab tells the fans that after the match at Wrestlestorm, him and Doring had a long talk. They discovered they had a lot in common and the same goals, so why not team up and go for it. Powerage is ready to rock in 86! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody! Did you miss me? Don't worry because the number one segment in wrestling is back. This is a follow up from Wrestlestorm because I still have questions. My guests tonight are the Grapplers. The Grapplers come out. Britton: We've got a lot to talk about boys so let's get right to it. At Mid Atlantic's huge super show Starrcade, you boys made quite the surprise appearance by putting down the Road Warriors and even hurt their manager Paul Ellering with a nasty spike piledriver. Apparently, the Crockett's were so upset that they called Jerry Jarrett and demanded that no footage of that be shown on USWA TV. What do you boys have to say about that? Grappler 1: I say to bad! Hey, they started all of this by destroying the USWA set. Nobody wanted to do anything about it. The wrestlers didn't want to get involved and that spineless so called owner Jarrett wanted to play nice. Well, we did do something about it! Grappler 2: And it felt so good to get payback on their biggest stage! The Road Warriors are done! Grappler 1: But if they're stupid enough to want more. well we would love to finish them off just like we did their pathetic manager! We're done Brenda! Grapplers storm off. Britton: I don't think this is over. The important thing is that the Beauty Shop is back and as you just saw, I get all the hottest scoops. Until next week, toooooodles. Commercial Break Lance: I can tell you right now, the Grapplers and Road Warriors are heading for an explosive showdown. With me right now is Greg Gagne. Greg, I heard that Arnold Skaaland, Bruce Hart and David Sammartino have all left the area. Greg: You're so observant Lance. Yea, thanks to all the corruption around here, Arnold and the Elite are no longer around but Greg Gagne is. Greg Gagne is a winner and Greg Gagne doesn't sit around and cry about things. That's what all these idiot fans would do. Now, Lance I've always considered myself a pretty cool guy. So you know what I did? Lance: I can't imagine. Greg: I went out and found the coolest tag team partner I could find. Please welcome out Jump'n Joe Savoldi. Joe comes out smiling. Lance: Oh come on Joe. What's going on here? Joe: Hey, I want to win. Greg wants to win. So in my book that makes us winners. Greg: That's exactly right. Lance, you and all these idiots remember that I was one half of the legendary High Flyers. You're looking at an upgrade. You can call us High Fly'n Fever and Lance you better catch it! Oh and Technicians, I didn't forget what you did to Arnold at Wrestlestorm. Get ready because we're coming after you first. Now watch us in action and take notes. High Fly'n Fever vs. Todd Rooney and Roy Glader Gagne puts Rooney down with a high dropkick then tags in Savoldi. Gagne picks up Rooney and holds him while Savoldi nails him with a missile dropkick for the win! Commercial Break Lance: With me now is the TV champ Tony St. Clair and his manager Les Thornton. Tony, you were scheduled to defend the TV title against Mike George next week but thanks to Jessie Barr, Mike wont be able to compete. Les: Tremendous shame but it wouldn't of mattered one bit because the result would of been the same. Tony with his hand held up in victory. Lance: I understand there will be... Les: (interrupts) I just want to say I have so much confidence in my champ that as a Christmas present to all our fans, Tony St. Clair will put the TV title on the line next week in an open challenge match to any wrestler in the world. Tony: Hold on Les, I'm not sure that's a good idea. I've been training for Mike George and maybe we should wait until he's healthy. After all, he does deserve his shot. Les: Nonsense. You're the greatest TV champion in USWA history. There's nobody that can beat us. Next week you will defend the title in an open challenge match and will prove once again that you are simply the best. Les walks off. Tony ponders things and doesn't look happy as he walks out. Lance: Ok, an open challenge match for the TV title next week. I don't think the champ was to keen on that idea. Back to the ring. The Devil's Duo w/Goldie Rogers vs. Neil Jones and Peter Moore Duo come out in full biker gear as Goldie escorts them to the ring. Total squash as the Duo just pummels their opponents. Sword hits a backbreaker on Moore and holds him while Vines comes off the top rope with a knee to the mid section for the easy win. Boos as they head to the podium. Goldie: Listen up Jack! The Bruise Brothers reign comes to an abrupt end next week when my Devils Duo beats them up and takes the Central States tag titles! Afterwards they're going to put those titles on their shoulders and ride their Harley's all over town for a Christmas celebration. Commercial Break "The Master of Disaster" Duke Myers w/"Diamond' Timothy Flowers vs. Clinton Stitch Myers is in total control. Just for kicks, Flowers trips Clinton. Clinton stumbles into a loaded clothesline from Myers 1..2..3! Massive boos as they head to the podium. Myers: Dick Slater! That clothesline had your name written all over it. Kiss your title goodbye boy! Lance: Flowers, what was the point of you interfering? Flowers: Duke and I are Hard Knocks baby. You mess with one of us, you mess with both of us. You hear that Dopey Slater? Your title is coming to Hard Knocks. Merry Christmas Lance HAHAHA! Special Challenge Match Carlos Colon vs. TNT w/Curtis Iaukea As soon as Carlos hits the ring, TNT attacks. TNT is all over Colon with martial arts chops. TNT swings Carlos to the ropes and puts him down with a spin kick 1..2..Kick Out. TNT continues to work over Colon. TNT chokes Colon on the bottom rope. The Ref threatens TNT with a DQ. While TNT argues with the Ref, Curtis chokes Colon on the bottom rope. Colon finally staggers up and TNT clamps on the cobra clutch! Colon is fighting as TNT wrenches away. Colon uses all his strength to hop up and push himself back off the turnbuckles. Both men fall backwards with Colon on top 1..2..3! TNT releases the hold thinking he won. The Ref raises Colon's arm as Colon staggers up. Curtis runs in the ring. TNT reapplies the Cobra Clutch. Curtis charges but Colon lifts his knees and nails Curtis with a double kick. Colon runs backwards and slams TNT into the turnbuckles. Both men fall forward. Colon rolls out of the ring and pumps his fist to the cheering fans before exiting. Lance: Smart move by Colon. Hopefully now he can focus on his upcoming USWA world title shot on New Year's Eve. Curtis and TNT storm the podium. Curtis: Colon! This is only the beginning! I will not be satisfied until you are destroyed! The Monster is coming! (maniacal laugh) The monster is coming! YES! The monster is coming! Curtis and TNT exit. Lance: (long pause) I don't know what to say. Curtis Iaukea is one diabolical individual. Fans, next week will be a great night of TV. Three title bouts as a Christmas gift to you. I'll see you next week.
  13. Heel Smothers defiantly has the upper hand on former friend Armstrong. Cats vs. Dogs! LOL, how did I not see this coming? British Steel is getting some good buzz. No shame in losing to the more experienced Hart Foundation. Perez is proving to be a credible champ by defeating some tough challengers. Big win over Snuka. The Guerreros and Badd Co. tear the house down in a thrilling 2 out of 3 falls match. Badd Co. deserved this shot but the Guerreros have a pretty firm grip on the titles right now. But who knows, Badd Co. could have their number one of these nights.
  14. HAHAHA! Exactly! Can't go wrong with a name like that.
  15. USWA releases Shunji Takano USWA picks up Fred Ottman and Tom Magee
  16. I'm all for Adams going at it with Gilbert for the title. Adams has been on a roll and him and Hot Stuff will tear the houses down. Great interview with Bam Bam. I thought for sure he was going to the dark side but NO WAY! The Snake is in big trouble. After a fun feud with the Dog Pound, Badd Co. score their biggest win over the Freebirds. If they continue at this pace, they'll be wearing gold in no time. Oh man, Jake took a beating from the Three Man Army! If this keeps up, the Army might end up running Jake out of town. Texas Red is back and gets some payback on the Vice. British Steel get a very satisfying win. Gary Hart is getting the better of Hyatt Inc. After a solid run in Pacific, Barry sends Taylor packing. Great continuity here as Taylor pays for his previous sins. And Barry is now way over with the Pacific fans. Oh man Sommers does the stretcher job! Could this be the beginning of the end for the Playboy Club? Hot Stuff faces his toughest challenge to date by taking on former dominating champ Gordy. Great match and Gilbert solidifies himself as a true champ with a huge clean win! Great stuff, I like the direction Pacific is going.
  17. Landel not being on TV this week is a big time bummer but we do get a taped promo. New Twin States Tag champs Cooley and Armstrong vow payback on the Rich's but first must go another round with the (not on good terms) Violent Gentlemen. The Iceman has arrived! He always brings excitement. Santa Slam is building up. Mulligan will be back but in the meantime, Jerry Brisco will fill in. I hope Jerry knows what he's dealing with. Love that Mulligan comment about spitting Redman in Khan's eyes. Humperdink brings in the Moondogs! Great addition to the stacked Twin States tag roster. Mr. Electricity gets the win over Norvell to add some heat to their upcoming tag match. Wait! Landel is here! Not only does he give Olympia a beatdown but he issues a challenge for the title. In wrestling there's always a couple guys that can't seem to get away from each other and these guys are a perfect example. I hope they feud all over this game forever LOL. Thanks for showing highlights of Wrestlestorm. Terry Funk is going to have his hands full as a traveling champion. Looking forward to the upcoming tournament to see who gets first crack. Fergie and Slick's interactions are becoming a highlight every week. Slick promises a bodyguard worth a lot of money. Slick was right! Bad News Allen is worth every penny! However, Fergie better watch how he talks to Allen and not get on his bad side. What a final segment! Dundee a "No Show" Boyd takes his spot. A beaten up Dundee appears and gets another beating. Then the Rich's show up! WOW! That was chaos at its best. The Rich's vs. Cooley and Armstrong is going to be a hot feud heading into 86. Another outstanding week in Twin States.
  18. What a show as we head into Season's Beatings! Texas Ranger has become one of my favorite characters. He made a great showing in the tournament but it comes to an end at the hands of Deaton (and a cowbell). If there was anybody I wanted to see advance over Ranger, well it would be Deaton LOL. Both Deaton and Adias would be solid choices to win the title. Wow, Spoiler fires Akbar! I don't think Akbar will just walk away from this. El Jefe better be ready because a vengeful Cocoa is coming after him! I've mentioned this before but you've really turned this into a must see match. Dark Journey is great! Glamour Boys take the bait and the priceless team of Tatum and Victory have arrived. Hollywood and the Heartthrob get the big win and might have changed the course to Season's Beatings. Mantell looks great as he tunes up for his life changing world title opportunity. Terry Funk is the man! Awesome promo! I could hear every word in his voice and totally see all his facial expressions. The horse analogy was pure gold. 1986 will be the year of the Funker! Mantell responds with passion. These promos are going to bring the fans in. Highwaymen and Tribal Nation put on a dandy of a main event. Highwaymen get the c.o. win but aren't satisfied. The man who always has a plan Frank Dusek comes out and makes it a triangle match. One thing about Dusek is, he listens. Tatum brings up a great point and now we got a 4 corners match! This shows how competitive the tag team division in Texas is. The show isn't over! A parking lot brawl with pick up trucks, fallen bikes, fists flying! What more can you ask for? How about Ron Bass! Bass and Bart are reunited! The arena wont be big enough when those Cowboys and Bikers square off in what could be the biggest fight of the year! Only one more week! Can't wait.

Speaking of that great event, I would like to ask that the new Central States Champ Dick Slater come on out here. Cheers as Slater comes out. Jarrett: Dick, congratulations on your title victory. 1986 is going to be an amazing year for the USWA. We already announced that the USWA title has been recognized as a world title. As for the Central States title, that will now be known as the Mid America Title. So Dick Slater, I would like to present to you this here Mid America title belt. Jarrett opens the case, pulls out the championship belt and hands it to Slater. Slater: Thank you Mr. Jarrett. Right now I want to let all my fans know that I'll proudly defend this title against anyone at anytime. Dick Slater loves to fight and Dick Slater will be a fighting champ! (holds up the title and a fist) Alright! Lance: Ok, Dick Slater now the Mid America Champ. Fans, our first match when we come back. Commercial Break Lance Von Erich vs. "Jumping" Joe Savoldi Both of these guys were recent fan favorites in Texas and have now ventured into Tennessee. The bell rings and both men shake hands. Their fast paced styles are very similar and they give the fans a solid back and forth match. Both men use drop kicks, arm drags, hip tosses, sunset flips, back drops, leapfrogs, and headscissors. At the 8 minute mark, Savoldi rolls up Lance off the ropes but Lance carries the momentum over and rolls Savoldi up 1..2..3! Both men get up. Lance offers his hand but the disappointed Savoldi just walks out of the ring. Lance: Congratulations Lance Von Erich and welcome to the USWA. What a way to debut. That match could of went either way but you came out on top. LVE: It's so great to be here Lance and I'm really excited to take on the competition here. I have some pretty big goals for 1986 and I look forward to achieving them right here! Commercial Break USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice vs. Gary Williams and Todd Rooney Total squash. Makhan swings Rooney into the corner and hits a running splash then tags in Gama. Gama hits a backbreaker and clamps on the camel clutch for the victory. Boos as they head to the podium. Lance: At WrestleStorm, the Gunslingers appeared to have the titles won but ended up getting disqualified. Gama: Stop right there! Appeared to have the titles won? They were never close to winning our titles! Makhan: That's right! They cheated and got DQed, Sorry but they broke the rules and we rightfully won the match. Pull your head out of the gutter Lance! Lance: Ok, alright. Well right here on our New Years Eve program, you will be defending those titles against the Nightmares from Twin States. They won a tough battle royal to earn this shot. Gama: I don't care what they won, they will not defeat us! Nobody can! USWA, Texas, Twin States, it doesn't matter who we face, we will defeat them all! Makhan: Because we're the best tag team on the planet! Commercial Break "The Lone Wolf" Jessie Barr vs. Sam Smith Barr is a bit unhinged as he punches Smith down, stomps away then gives him a boot rake. Barr picks up Smith and drops him on the top rope then drops several knees on Smith's leg. Barr finishes Smith off with a spinning toe hold. The bell rings but Barr wont release the hold. The Ref threatens to reverse the decision and Barr finally releases. Commercial Break Jessie Barr is still pacing around the ring and yelling. Lance: Jessie Barr is defiantly off. Right now I want to bring out Mike George. Mike, you have been undefeated since coming back. Your latest being a victory over Greg Gagne at Wrestlestorm. I know you're feeling good about taking care of the Elite. You now have been given a TV title shot on Christmas Eve. How's that sound? Mike: Great news indeed! I've worked hard and... WHAM!!! Jessie Barr clotheslines Mike from behind! Barr stomps on Mike then hurls him in the ring. Barr drags Mike to the corner then rolls out of the ring, grabs Mike's leg and slams it on the steel post! Barr does this a few more times then gets back in the ring and applies the figure four leglock! Officials storm the ring. Lance: What's wrong with Jessie Barr? He's clearly out of his mind! Commercial Break Lance: Mike George was stretchered out of here and Jessie Barr was escorted out of the building. I'll keep you posted on the condition of Mike George. Let's go back to the ring. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly vs. Carl Kellerman Kelly clamps on the full nelson and it's all over. Kelly swings his opponent around and tosses him. Boos as Kelly does some arrogant posing before heading to the podium. Lance: I've got to ask. Why were you out there at Wrestlestorm during the Morrow/DJ Peterson match? Kelly: (laughs) Two reasons. I was paid and I simply don't like DJ Peterson. Never have, never will. And now I don't have to see his stupid face around here, all thanks to Gerry Morrow. Oh and by the way, my good buddy Vinnie Valentino is doing well after that unprovoked attack by those dirty Grapplers. Thanks for asking Lance. I'm outta here. Lance: (rolls his eyes) we'll be back Commercial Break A music video is shown of the FABULOUS ONES to the Busboys "Boys are back in town" Fabulous Ones are coming to the USWA! Central States Tag Team Champs The Bruise Brothers vs. Willie Lopez and Vic Dutro The fans are on their feet as The Bruise Brothers enter the ring wearing sparkling blue vests, blue wrestling pants, blue beanies and of course their newly won titles around their waists. Cash nails Dutro with a crossbody diving headbutt and tags in Snowman. Snowman finishes things off with his running powerslam! Cheers as "We are family" plays and the Bruise Brothers hold up their central states tag titles. Lance: (Smiling) Our central states champions, the Bruise Brothers! I'm expecting big things from that team in 1986. Boos as Gerry Morrow strolls out in a nice white suit, fedora, sunglasses, a bottle of champagne and his Billionaire's Title on his shoulder. Morrow: HAHAHAHA! Today is de day Lance. You will join me in a toast. A toast to my successful Billionaire's Title defense at de Wrestlestorm. Lance: Oh come on, that is not a recognize title in the USWA Morrow: Just for dat comment, I will not waste dis expensive champagne on you. Dis is a recognized championship because I say it is. And as everybody knows de golden rule, he who has de gold, makes de rules. (Laughs) As for de Billionaire's title, I will defend dis title with honor and pride. Now if you will excuse me, I will go find somebody worthy to toast with. Good Day. Lance: Yea, maybe Kevin Kelly is still around. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our next match, Duke Myers and Timothy Flowers are with me. Don't you two have matches to prepare for? Flowers: Oh yea, I'm taking on yet another injun. I ran Sunny Whinny Cloud out of town and now I have Billy Jack Weak here to avenge him. What a joke. I'm going to send him home crying and then my main man Duke is going to do the same to Siva Afi. Tell em Duke. Lance: If I may, but how long are you going to wear that sleeve on your arm and use it for foreign objects? Duke: Shut up Lance! This is a legit injury and at the hands of that savage Siva Afi. I'm the victim here and tonight Afi will pay! Flowers: You're looking at Hard Knocks brother! You like that Lance? You can call us that from now on. Got it! Lance: Back to the ring. My goodness. Billy Jack Strong vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers Cheers as The Ref tells Duke Myers to head to the back. The bell rings but Flowers is still throwing a tantrum at the Ref. Strong turns Flowers around and unloads. Strong swings him to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Strong picks up Flowers and sends him flying with an overhead back suplex! Strong picks up Flowers and once again sends him flying with an overhead back suplex! Flowers bounces and rolls under the ropes then staggers around and falls down. Flowers gets back up and staggers to the back which results in a count out. Lance: Maybe Flowers should of been more prepared. Billy Jack Strong, come on over. Welcome to the USWA. Strong: Lance, I'm pumped up and ready brother! Flowers just found out what I'm all about and I hope everyone else took notice. I'm here to face the best and win some gold. This is the place to be and I'm going to turn heads in 1986! Strong gives a double bicep pose as the fans cheer Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I've been told the Beauty Shop returns next week and Brenda promises a big announcement. I'll be conducting a special interview with the Grapplers. TV champ Tony St. Clair and Les Thornton will be here. On that note, I've been told Mike George is at a nearby hospital and I'm not sure if he'll be able to compete for the TV title on Christmas Eve. Well fans, I'm going to take you to the new USWA World Champion Terry Funk, at his home in Amarillo. Funk: (bandage on forehead and over his eye) I told you people what I was going to do and I sure as hell did it! (Holds up the USWA title) I beat your hero Lawler in his home town! How does that feel Lawler? Look at my eye! That pig Lawler tried to permanently blind me but here I am holding the USWA World Title! Now that I'm done with that jackass Lawler, it's time to move on and defend this title. My title! This message is for you Johnny Mantell. In two weeks you're going to get a beating at Season's Beatings. I saw your sit down interview and your 'Golly Gee, I'm just thankful for the opportunity' attitude and I wanted to puke! Listen to me closely boy. You have no chance in hell of taking this here title from me. Terry Funk is a Texas legend and there's no way I'm coming to Texas and losing this title to a wannabe cowboy like you. My brother Dory is going to win the Texas Title and I'm going to retain my title and it's going to be a wonderful Christmas at the Funk's house this year. Commercial Break Winner gets a Mid America Title shot on Christmas Eve "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. "Master of Disaster" Duke Myers The bell rings and these guys have a furious exchange. Myers gets the upper hand with an eye rake and kick to the gut followed by a gut wrench suplex 1..2.Kick Out. Myers stomps away then drops an elbow 1..2..Kick Out. Myers swings Afi to the corner and charges but Afi moves and Myers hits hard. Both men stagger up. Afi nails Myers with a jumping headbutt then swings him to the corner and follows with a running clothesline. Afi hops on the turnbuckles and the fans count along as he punches Myers 10 times then Monkey Flips him over. Afii swings off the ropes and hits a body splash 1..2..Wait a minute! Flowers from out of nowhere pulls Afi's legs. The Ref gets up and threatens Flowers. Flowers denies everything. Cheers as Billy Jack Strong runs out and chases Flowers to the back. While all this is going on. Myers loads up his sleeve. Afi picks Myers up and Myers rakes his eyes and clotheslines him down 1..2..3!! Lance: What a robbery. Siva Afi had the match in total control until Flowers came out. And to top it off, Myers once again loaded that dang sleeve. Just terrible. Well I guess Dick Slater will defend the Mid America Title against Duke Myers on Christmas Eve. Well fans before we go, I want to take you to Jerry Lawler. I'll see you next week. Lawler: (bandaged up forehead) First off, I want to apologize to all my fans especially the ones in attendance in Memphis. That was the most heartbreaking loss of my career. I just can't sit around and feel sorry for myself. I want to get right back in the thick of things. Which is why I've signed to wrestle the Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller on the New Year's Eve program. Ron is one of the best and he's the type of competitor I need to get back in the ring with. The King will come back better than ever. That's a promise!
  20. USWA sends David Sammartino to the WWF. USWA releases Joe Lightfoot USWA picks up Curtis Iaukea and Jerry Grey
  21. USWA sends George Takano (Cobra) to New Japan.
  22. The new Pacific era is off and running. Heel Tracy Smothers will be fun to watch. The tension between Busick and Bigelow has reached its peak. When these two go at it, it's going to be one hard hitting encounter. A lightbulb went off in Rotunda's head. Can't wait to find out who's coming in to help in the fight against the Snakepit. Looks like the beginning of a British Steel/Vice feud. Love the Gilbert/Snuka match up. Gilbert defiantly has a variety of challengers to work with. Vice Squad win round 1 against British Steel. Adams and Kabuki continue their solid feud. Adams seems to have the edge. OH YEA! Rotunda couldn't of picked a better partner than BARRY WINDHAM! Awesome debut as Barry gets the big pin on Jake! Barry is going to thrive here. Cabin Fever's title reign is off and running. Big c.o. win over the Playboy Club. Gilbert is off to a great start as champ by taking down both Snuka and Muraco in some hard fought title defenses. Smothers and Armstrong go at it. Advantage Smothers. I guess things aren't finished between Badd Co. and the Dog Pound. These teams have been giving the fans some good matches. Scorpio is rolling as LHW champ. I'm looking forward to Orton's TV title reign. He's a type that can adapt to all sorts of styles.
  23. Welcome back Edger and welcome to our game Superkix!
  24. USWA sends Killer Khan, Hercules Ayala, Nick Kiniski, Kelly Kiniski and Matt Borne to Twin States in exchange for Kamala, Roy Lee Welch, TNT, Pat Rose and Steve Strong
  25. "There's no VICTORY without JACK" HAHAHAHAHA it's great that we're seeing these T-Shirts pop up in Twin States and Texas. The opening segment was hilarious. Poor Otis oh I mean Platt didn't have a chance LOL. I like the new event center. With everything happening in the USWA world, we need something like this. I'm all for a Dynamite Duo/Blondes contenders feud. It will be cool seeing 2 very charismatic teams going at it in the ring and we're going to get some fantastic promos. Boyd has arrived and will tell people his intentions when he's good and ready! Bullet Bob gets a fired up win and Moffat gets fired. I'm liking the bounty story and cant wait to find out who is behind all this. Humperdink sure wants his money but I don't think they finished the job on Mulligan just yet. Khan is looking like a monster as he sends poor Lancaster out on the stretcher. Can't wait for the inevitable Khan/Mulligan match. OH WOW! Fergie and Slick together! Only in our world LOL. What a conversation. Another Movement?!?!? Things just got real. I'm interested in seeing what Ron Garvin does here. Twin States seems like the ideal place for a tough as nails guy like Garvin. Appreciate the WrestleStorm commercial. And speaking of WrestleStorm, Landel almost changed the entire landscape! That was a close one LOL. I can't wait to hear RPG's explanation on this next week. Looking forward to the USWA champ making another trip to Twin States. Such a fun read every week!
