USWA TV @ The Civic Center Knoxville TN 6-5-85 Lance Russell: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Paul Orndorff makes his in ring debut tonight. The exciting Rock n Roll RPM's will be in action. Also a man with an extensive wrestling background, I'm talking about Bob Roop. Wendell Cooley will be in action and a lot more. We also have the debut of Brenda Britton's Beauty Shop. And our feature match will see Dick Slater taking on Buzz Tyler. Ok tomorrow night at the Hammond Center, there will be two huge title matches. The Grapplers will defend the USWA tag titles against Karachi Vice. And Tully Blanchard will defend the USWA title against my guest at this time, Jerry "The King" Lawler. Huge ovation as Lawler comes out. Lance: Ok Jerry, now that you put an end to your long feud with Adrian Adonis, you get a title opportunity tomorrow night against Tully Blanchard. Lawler: The USWA title picture has been pretty crazy the past couple of weeks. I have to give respect to Kerry Von Erich and that incredible win over Nick Bockwinkel at Parade of Champions. I was really looking forward to facing Kerry at some point but then Tully Blanchard changed everything. Tully, I know there is no footage of what went down the night you defeated Kerry but word is spreading fast and I have to say I'm not surprised how things turned out. Well let me tell you something, I'm done with personal feuds and it's time to get the USWA title back around my waist. Boos as Tully and Baby Doll stroll out. Tully takes the belt off his shoulder, smiles at it, then hands it to Baby Doll. Tully: Well here we are at long last. You know Lawler, this is pretty funny. The night I won this title from what's his name, I knew I would be defending it against you right away. You see I knew Jerry Jarrett would immediately send in his puppet. So I'm more than prepared to put you down at the Hammond Center and show Jarrett, these idiot fans and most of all you, just who really runs this place. This title means I'm number one around here and Lawler, you better get used to it. Lawler: Your arrogance never seizes to amaze me. First of all, I'm nobody's puppet. The last guy that called me that was put down and sent packing, so you better watch your mouth. I've held that title and I plan on doing it again. That will happen tomorrow night. And Tully, there isn't anything you can do about it! Lawler heads out as the fans cheer. Tully: (Smirking) Lawler, Jarrett, all these morons out here and you Lance Russell are all going to be so disappointed because next week I'll be standing here with this title over my shoulder. Come on Baby Doll let's go. Lance: Ok, it all happens at the Hammond Center tomorrow night. Let's go to the ring. Master G's vs. Vic Dutro and Francis Malloy George Wells and Gerry Morrow have been racking up the wins of late and tonight is no different as they swing Malloy to the ropes and put him down with a double running shoulder tackle! Master G's cut a promo and say they're ready for a title shot. Commercial Break Bob Roop vs. Trent Watkins Roop makes his return to the USWA and takes pleasure in punishing his opponent. After working the shoulder, Roop hoists up Watkins, rams him shoulder first into the turnbuckles and executes a shoulder breaker for the win. The fans boo as Roop gives Watkins a couple stomps to the shoulder before heading to the podium. Lance: Good win tonight Mr. Roop, I know you have something to say. Roop: Yes I do! I was watching the program last week and got sick to my stomach when that Yatsu guy talked about bringing honor to the ring. I got even sicker when these fans cheered him. You people disgust me! I wrestled for the United States Army and you boo me? But you cheer a guy from Japan? Everybody saw what he did to Ron Slinker at Parade of Champions. That was despicable! I'm challenging you Yatsu! And believe me, I'm going to give you a lesson in honor and wrestling. Commercial Break "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley vs. Gary Williams The fans are up and cheering as Cooley dropkicks Williams down. Williams staggers up, Cooley swings off the ropes and hits the Bulldog for the win! The fans cheer as Cooley pumps his fists and heads to the podium. Lance: Ok Wendell, you looked impressive tonight. I know you're feeling pretty good after sending both Johnny Rich and Carl Fergie out of the USWA. Cooley: Lance, it was pretty satisfying especially after all that grief they both caused me. Now that that's over I have my sights set on the TV title. The fans start cheering as somebody comes out. Lance: I don't believe this, Tommy Wildfire Rich is here! Tommy: (shakes Lance's hand) Great to see you again Lance! Wendell, I'm really sorry to interrupt you like this but I felt I needed to get something off my chest. We both know Johnny Rich is my cousin. Now I don't know what got into him and why he started listening to Carl Fergie. Believe me, I called him several times and tried to talk sense into him but he wouldn't listen. Trust me, Johnny just wasn't himself. I think you sending him packing was the best thing for him. So I wanted to come out and thank you for knocking some sense into him. Rich extends his hand. Wendell shakes it. Wendell: Tommy, I know Johnny went off the tracks and I'm sorry it ended this way. And I do hope he finds some peace. Tommy: You're a class act Wendell. Wendell smiles and nods at Tommy then walks away. Lance: What the... WHAM!!!! Tommy nails Wendell from behind! Tommy punches Wendell down then stomps on him. Tommy picks up Wendell and runs him into the steel post! Wendell is busted open. Tommy kicks Wendell a few more times than body slams him on the concrete. Officials run out. The fans are booing as Tommy goes back to the podium. Tommy: Did somebody say something about fired up! Did Wendell Cooley really think I was going to let this slide? Hell no I wasn't! Johnny is family and I'm here to finish family business! Lance: I don't know what to say. We'll be right back. Commercial Break The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. Ken Jenkins and Willie Lopez The fans desperately need something to cheer about and the RPMs give them just that. They come out wearing bright colored tights and hanging bandanas. RPM's are in total sync and put on a tag team demonstration. The finish sees Davis hoist Jenkins up in a powerbomb position and drop him as Lane hits a neckbreaker (They call this the Spandex Split) for the easy pin! The fans cheer this devastating finisher. Lance: Wow! What a debut for the RPMs! Fans, the debut of the Brenda Britton's Beauty Shop is next. Commercial Break There's a generic set with a pink sign in the back that says "Beauty Shop" Brenda: Hello and welcome to the beauty shop, I'm of course your host Brenda Britton. Now, I was told that the USWA was in dire need of some beauty and elegance so here I am. It's going to be your pleasure to watch me every week as I interview all the top talent the USWA has to offer. Now when I say top talent, I'm starting things off with a bang. My guests tonight is a team that should be wearing some gold, I'm referring to Steve Regal and Chick Donovan, the Fabulous Blondes. Boos as the Blondes strut out. Brenda: My oh my, it's nice to have a couple of real men out here for my debut show. I'm so glad it's you guys and not some losers like the RPM's. I mean did you just see those guys? Pathetic. Regal: (Smiling) Brenda, it's such a privilege to be standing here with someone as lovely as you. Chick: You're simply stunning. Regal: I couldn't agree more about the RPMs. I mean it's obvious they're total rip offs. Those wannabes couldn't even lace up our boots. Chick: That's right! You people are looking at the real deal and it's an atrocity that we haven't been given any title opportunities. RPMs, don't think for one second you can stroll in here and get what you want. Regal: We're the team to beat and if those wannabe RPMs want to step into the ring with a real team than bring it on boys! Brenda: And there you have it. I know I'm looking forward to watching more of these guys in the ring. Until next week, toooooodles. Commercial Break Another Vinnie Valentino Vignette This one shows Vinnie in a restaurant wearing his best Miami Vice suit seated with a dozen women. Vinnie: Hey there, the Vin Man coming at you. As you can see I live the life baby. I love to party and I get the job done in the ring. The USWA needs to lighten up and have some fun. I told you there's to many outdated squares like Gino Brito running around. This is the 80s baby and it's time for the USWA to get with it. I'm coming to town real soon and I'm going to get rid of all those downers like Brito. Ok ladies enough about that, lets have a good time. Gino Brito Jr. vs. Todd Rooney Brito just outclasses his opponent and finishes him off with the figure four leglock. The fans cheer as Brito heads to the podium. Lance: Good win tonight Gino. Well I'm not sure why but it appears Vinnie Valentino has some kind of issue with you. Brito: Lance, I'm not sure what's with this younger generation. Valentino better screw his head on right and get down to business. If he wants to step foot in the ring with me, I'm ok with that. That kid better realize it's not all fun and games in the squared circle. Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our next match, I wanted to give everybody an update on the Central States tag team titles. Jerry Jarrett has decided to retire the belts for now. The good news is Jerry has decided to create the Central States 6 man titles. I understand there will be a match in the near future to decide our first champions. I think that will be an exciting addition. American Made vs. Roy Glader and Steven Forrest Kirchner hits a fall away slam and tags in Kernodle, who finishes things off with a fireman's carry slam. The fans cheer as American Made wave their flags. Lance: Another win for American Made. Ok joining me now is the Club (Mike George and Steve O). Boys I know you were suppose to wrestle Arnold Skaaland's new team the Elite tonight but apparently that's not going to happen. Boos as Skaaland walks out with his towel on his shoulder. Skaaland: I know everybody is upset. Don't worry, you see my two guys are so good at what they do that they still have booking obligations to finish up. I mean they're in high demand. On that note, they felt like the fans should have to pay to see their debut so next weekend in Jackson, they have agreed to face you guys. And hey don't worry because at least you wont get a loss on national TV. George: Keep talking Arnold because you're so good at that. Steve: Sounds to us like you and your boys are a little hesitant. Skaaland: No I'm afraid that's not it but keep telling yourselves that. I'll tell you what. I'll introduce my boys on TV next week. I'm a reasonable man and I'll give you a chance to back out after seeing who they are. George: We don't care who they are. Do whatever you want but rest assured we'll be ready for action in Jackson. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, last week we promised you footage from Japan as our Central States Champ Carlos Colon traveled over there to take on the dangerous Tiger Jeet Singh. Let's take a look. Highlights are shown of Singh's wild entrance as he runs down the aisle swinging his sword at the fans like a madman. The match is joined in progress. Both men are bleeding. Singh executes a back suplex and the Ref counts 1..2..(Colon lifts his shoulder) 3! Singh thinks he won. The Ref raises Colon's arm and Singh goes crazy and attacks Colon. They end up brawling all over the place! Lance: Oh my things got out of control. I'm looking forward to talking with Carlos when he returns. Fans, my guest at this time is the manager of the TV champ Tony St. Clair, Les Thornton. Les I understand you have an announcement to make. Les: First of all his name is Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair. And he'll be defending his TV title right here next week. Now as you know I took Tony straight to the top and I said to myself why stop there? Why not venture into the tag team scene? So I had my eyes on one team in particular. They have all the talent and skills in the world, they just need opportunity and I can give that to them. Please stand up and bow to Sir Mark and Sir Brad, the Royal Battens! Lance: Oh come on will you. What is this? BOOOOOOOOOOS! The Battens come out wearing Union Jack vests. Les: After speaking with them and showing them the truth they understood that United Kingdom wrestling is in fact superior to all wrestling. They wanted to represent the best and now they will. Lance: I don't believe this. We'll be back for a feature match up. I just don't believe this. Commercial Break "Dirty" Dick Slater vs. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler Pretty fun hard hitting TV match. Slater has things going his way for a bit but Tyler fires up and makes a comeback. Tyler clotheslines Slater down. Slater wobbles up and Tyler scoop slams him back down. Tyler swings Slater to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Tyler picks up Slater and swings him into the corner. Tyler charges in but Slater moves. Tyler hits hard and falls back. Slater swings off the ropes and drops a big elbow, then hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a forearm drop 1..2..3! Lance: Very big win for Dick Sla.... Slater interrupts. Slater: Colon! I'm coming for you! You cant hide in Japan forever. Your title is mine! Lance: Ok, Slater has his sights set on the Central States title. The debut of Paul Orndorff when we return. Commercial Break "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff vs. Sam Smith Orndorff looks like a million bucks as he takes off his robe. The fans cheer Orndorff on all throughout the match. Orndorff slams Smith, hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a knee drop. Orndorff picks up Smith and puts him down with a short arm clothesline. The fans go wild as Orndorff gives the signal. He hoists Smith up and delivers the piledriver! 1..2..3! Lance: What a debut for Mr. Wonderful. While he makes his way over I want to tell you we have a blockbuster TV main event next week as the Syndicate will take on Brad and Scott Armstrong! I understand Ron Fuller will be in the Syndicate's corner. Lot's of bad blood there as Fuller and the Syndicate put Bob and Steve Armstrong in the hospital. I'm hoping to have an update on Wendell Cooley after that shocking attack by Tommy Rich. Ok come on over Paul. Welcome to the USWA. Orndorff: Thank you Lance. Mr. Wonderful is here and ready to go! Tully Blanchard! Big John Studd! Dick Slater! Ron Fuller! I don't care who it is I'm ready for the competition and I want a title! Mr. Wonderful has arrived! The fans cheer as Orndorff gives them a double bicep pose to end the show. Tomorrow Night at the Hammond Center USWA Title Bout Tully Blanchard (C) w/Baby Doll vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler USWA Tag Team Title Bout The Grapplers (C) vs. Karachi Vice Plus more exciting bouts.

I couldn't wait for Seattle Showdown and man did it deliver! First I want to tell you how impressive your match write ups are. I like how you throw in the history along with the match description. Very well done. Gilbert and Beefcake have become a pretty solid team and it's proven tonight with a good win over the Royal Family. Wow! Thanks to Gary Hart's stable beating up Angel on the outside, the Freebirds get a huge win. I'm sure Angel's buddies Adams, Billy Jack and Burke will avenge him. As for the Freebirds, I think Hyatt's boys want a shot at them. Smothers and Starr has been one of my favorite feuds and their blow off was insane. Good Grief that finish by Smothers was literally jaw dropping. Smothers is going places. The epic final showdown between Steamboat and Muraco was a classic. Steamboat finally finishes his business with Muraco. Muraco still comes out strong from this feud. Looking forward to seeing what's next for these two. Zenk had a tremendous run as CA. Champ but all good things must end. Orton prevails and takes home the title. I like Orton in this role. Poor Angel is taken out of his TV title shot. The fans get a great moment as Texas Red subs and puts Taylor down quick! Texas Red's stock just sky rocketed. Leaping Lanny wins the LHW Title! Even as a heel he still impresses the fans with his high flying offense. You have done a great job elevating Poffo into something special. Oh man didnt see that coming as Cameron and Dundee end up with the tag titles! I'm sure Rose and Sommers will want a rematch asap. The Vice Squad are also still in the mix. The tag division is very competitive right now. The main event between the 2 Bam Bams was a hard hitting one. Bigelow really took it to Gordy but the champ's experience comes into play and he gets the decisive win. I'm still wondering who can take Gordy down??? Awesome card! Lot's of title changes as Pacific starts a new chapter.

Rage in the Cage! Title changes, feuds, twists and turns. WOW!!!! The Movement is back and at full strength. What a shocking way to start the show. The AWA is in trouble. Killer Bees move up with a solid win over the Blond Bombers. Olympia and HTM go the limit. Hopefully we get a rematch. These two could work a fun program. Piper and the Mulligans get a satisfying win over Long Riders and Idol. It appears Pringle and Idol have cut things off with the Long Riders. LOL Piper purposely costs Mega Stars their match. Chaos follows as the Sheepherders attack RnR! Cool seeing Fergie get a job as the flag bearer. Sheepherders and RnR will get bloody. I was really looking forward to the Richter/Sherri dream match. Richter wins the title! I don't think Sherri will walk away from this quietly. Savage gets the win over Link in a wild match. This moves Savage up a notch. Hogan puts Jumbo down with the legdrop! Great display of sportsmanship as Hogan and Jumbo stand side by side waving the flags. Jumbo solidifies his face turn by chopping Fuji down. Piper's antics come back to haunt him in a big way. The Battle of the Nature Boys! LOL Landel is soooooo good. He had me rolling. Things take a turn for the worse as OMG arrives and destroys Flair! That Tylenol works miracles as Landel recovers to get the win over Flair. The epic Nature Boys saga continues and I love it. After a great chase, Hall and Hennig capture the gold from the Russians. Another big surprise as Bockwinkel shows up and issues a challenge to the winner. Bock's just gotta have a title. The main event is a wild one as Hansen and Nikita take it to each other. Brody, the Russians and Jones have a wild melee on the outside. Nikita takes advantage and gets the win. Jones and the Russians better be ready because Hansen and Brody will be coming after them. No doubt Nikita can fight with the best of them but Bock is a new ballgame. That's going to be an interesting match. Rage in the Cage was a tremendous success! Great job Gene.

Always great to see what's going on at Pacific's house shows. Orton picks up a strong win to show he's still a top contender. Badd Co. gets a good win over Hito and Fuchi in what looked like a gem of a match. Blackwell/Nord and the Untouchables, yea a No Contest seems about right. That poor Ref. WOW! What a match between Zenk and Snuka! Zenk squeaks out the win but is feeling the affects. Are Zenk's days as champ numbered? My guys the Playboy Club know how to get the job done. Bam Bam gets the fall in the 6 man. He's sure got momentum going as he heads for his big time match against Gordy. Flamboyance continues to shine. Perez has been racking the wins up. The Guerreros are one cohesive unit but right now the Vice Squad is to much to handle. Billy Jack looked strong as he pulls out the full nelson win over the always dangerous Kendo. Rude and Fernandez might be in line for a title shot soon. Loved that 6 man fan favorites tag match. Nice to do something different now and again. The match defiantly delivered. I would say after that match with Boone, Steamboat is ready for Muraco. Seattle Showdown is almost here!

Good grief Rage in the Cage is stacked!!!! Nobody intimidates like Hansen and Brody. Things could get crazy. RnR get some mic time and have strong words for Los Mega Stars. This match might steal the show. LOL Landel is even funny in commercials. Long Riders and Idol look ready for Piper and the Mulligans. This will be a good ol fashion 6 man brawl. Hard to argue with what Landel was saying. The man can back up his claims. Will Flair win his first AWA title? I don't know, Landel seems to be on his A game. Big surprise as Slick and the King show up in the AWA and target Koko. I liked the banter and history involved. Nice addition to Rage. Well if Blackburn wanted to get Savage upset he succeeded. Crazy stipulation added and I cant blame Savage for getting weirded out by it. The Axe has Hall and Hennig focused and ready for the Russians. Another big surprise as Rick Martel arrives and wins the TV title! Props to Martel as he quickly rebounds from losing the USWA TV title to win the AWA TV title. I admit, I really popped for this. Awesome! Tatum is out and Timbs is in. Nice replacement as Timbs plays the Blond bomber part really well. Good move by Johnny V. The Russians are ready. LOL, "Loser Lody" Nikita was pretty good here. Like I said, things are going to get crazy in the cage. WOW! What a way to end the show! Tsuruta and Fuji get mega heat as they leave Hogan and Albano laid out. More heat as they walk away waving the Japanese flag. Their match at Rage has been built up well. Classic 80s stuff. Only one day until Rage in the Cage! I have my ticket.

Man I cant say it enough. The commentators are such a great part of the show. You have them down word for word. I cant imagine how furious Bruno is right now. One has to wonder what this will mentally do to young David. Giant Machine makes a strong debut as he's on a collision course with Andre. Jimmy Hart's client Mr. Magnificent looks good and has called out DJ Peterson. This will be an intriguing match between two rising stars. Oh man I wonder what's on the Superstar's mind??? Things get real as Shultz gives Tito quite a beating. I know Tito is going to be coming back with fire. Ariba! This could really be a top notch feud. Islanders are in full heel mode now and pick up a devastating win. Watch out Backlund. You have a fired up Morales coming after you. Or maybe Morales should watch out LOL. WrestleMania is heating up! Like the slight jab at the other territories LOL. Great promo by the Candyman. It's official, Patera vs. Valentine! That's going to be a good one. Another fun match will be the Islanders and Fantastics. Good heat there. Great job building up this epic event. I wonder if the celebrities are coming out? Cant wait to hear what the Superstar has to say next week. Good stuff as always.

USWA TV @ The Civic Auditorium Knoxville TN 5-30-85 Highlights of the Parade of Champions and all the results are shown to Quiet Riot's Metal Health. Lance Russell: Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Parade of Champions is in the books and what a tremendous success it was. So much to talk about. You all saw Kerry Von Erich's incredible win over Nick Bockwinkel to win the USWA title but unfortunately it was short lived. I want to bring out Jerry Jarrett for further details. Jarrett: Thank you very much Lance. Parade of Champions was an amazing night and I know you'll be talking about that throughout the show. Kerry Von Erich defeated Bockwinkel in an unbelievable match to capture the title but like you said it was short lived. Kerry suffered a leg injury during that match. He was scheduled to defend the title on Wednesday night against Tully Blanchard in Louisville. Kerry was not medically cleared to wrestle. I was going to give him a couple weeks off for further evaluation. There is no footage of what happened that night but my understanding is Tully and Baby Doll goaded Kerry into a match and Kerry being the fighter he is decided to defend... Thundering Boos as Baby Doll escorts a cocky Tully to the podium. Tully arrogantly struts around the podium with the title. Tully puts the title on his shoulder and soaks in the moment. Tully: Well, well, well here we are after Parade of Champions and look who's standing out here with the title. (BOOS) Oh Jerry, your nightmare is happening isn't it? You tried so hard to keep me from this title but yet here I am! So typical that you and Lance are out here crying about poor Kerry Von Erich when instead you should of congratulated me from the start. Jarrett: Tully you are the champion and that decision stands but I understand there was a lot of controversy that night in Louisville. Unfortunately there is no footage. Tully: There was no controversy whatsoever! It was simple. Kerry's win over Bockwinkel was a fluke and I proved Bockwinkel right when he said Kerry was undeserving of being a champion. Where's Kerry now? I sent him home with his tail between his legs. Enough about that. You're looking at a real man, a real champion. I deserve this and there's nothing you can say or do about it. Jarrett: You're right. You now represent the USWA and you are now our champion. So Tully, congratulations. Jarrett sticks out his hand and Tully slaps it away. Jarrett: Ok that's fine. Let me take this time to announce that the number one contender for your title is Jerry Lawler and you will defend that title against Lawler next Saturday night at the Hammond Civic Center. Massive cheers Tully: Wow big surprise. Your golden boy Lawler is the number one contender. Let me tell you something and that second rate jester Lawler something. This title is going to stay with me for a very long time. I hope you're in attendance that night and watch as I humiliate and put your golden boy down. Tully Blanchard is taking the USWA to heights you never dreamed of. Something Kerry Von Erich or Jerry Lawler aren't capable of doing. Let's go Baby Doll, we have more celebrating to do. Lance: Ok, that was a lot to take in. Next week at the Hammond Civic Center, Tully defends the USWA title against Jerry Lawler. We'll hear from Lawler later from his home. Fans I'll let you soak all that in while we go to a commercial break. Commercial Break "Sweet" Norvell Austin vs. Gary Williams Norvell makes his debut tonight as he comes to the ring wearing long purple wrestling pants, and a fedora hat. The fans are into his charisma. Norvell swings Williams to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash then swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop. Norvell hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a flying leg drop to get the win. Norvell makes his way to the podium as the fans cheer. Norvell: Oh Lance I'm feeling oh so good tonight baby! I'm here in the USWA to make some green baby and to get some gold! Get ready because Sweetness is here and I'm ready to go! Lance: HA HA ok, Norvell Austin has arrived. Speaking of arrivals, tonight we'll be seeing a man who made quite an impact at the Parade of Champions Battle Royal. I'm talking about Big John Studd. He's coming up next. Commercial Break Big John Studd vs. Trent Watkins Studd is all over Trent as he just throws him all over the place. Studd finally puts him out of his misery with a Double Armed DDT! The fans boo as Studd casually walks over the top rope and heads to the podium. Lance: We all saw what you did to Siva Afi after he won the battle royal. My goodness you smashed the trophy over his back. Just what was that all about? Studd: None of those men belonged in that battle royal! That island boy didn't win anything because he didn't have to face a giant like me. I'm the true giant in wrestling and now everybody in the USWA knows that! That boy should go back home and eat a banana. Lance: Alright, that's enough. I know Siva Afi will be back and he's going to be gunning for you. Studd: Is that suppose to intimidate me? If he's stupid enough to come back then I'll be sure to send him back to the islands for good! Studd exits to boos. Lance: Ok switching gears. Jerry Lawler is at home recovering from a concussion he suffered at Parade of Champions. Lawler ended his long and brutal feud with Adrian Adonis as he put him down in a wild street fight. Let's hear Lawler's thoughts on his upcoming title match with Tully Blanchard. Lawler is sitting on a couch at his home. Lawler (bandage on his forehead) Well you can say I literally got my bell rung at Parade of Champions but in the end the King prevailed. I'll be back on TV next week. Now I was informed by Jerry Jarrett that I was named the number one contender. Just yesterday I found out I will be facing Tully Blanchard. Tully I heard the controversy and brother I believe every word. I know you think you're riding high but I'm going to bring you back down to reality when I beat you and take that title! It's time for a King's reign. Commercial Break Lance: Fans we all saw the despicable actions of Ron Bass at Parade of Champions and what he did to our official. I understand Bass has been suspended from the USWA. Speaking of Parade of Champions, my next guess has a lot of explaining to do. Big time boos as Ron Fuller and the Syndicate (Adias and Young) come out. Lance: I hope all of you are proud. You put Bob Armstrong and his son Steve in the hospital. Ron Fuller, why would you do that cowardly act? Bob just fought a brutal match with Tully Blanchard in the cage and you attack him with a chair. Fuller: Let me stop you right there Lance. I want to be real clear. Bob Armstrong and I have unfinished business. Parade of Champions was just a ploy to get me in the door. I knew that would be my night and Bob Armstrong was going to be reminded of what a Fuller is capable of. Come on Bob, did you really think we would co exist here? I always knew you were dumb. This goes way back and I'm here to end this feud for good. Now, Bob has his brat sons running around so I needed a stable. Well it seemed the Syndicate had just lost their manager Carl Fergie. I saw opportunity and I capitalized on it. And now little Stevie is out of commission. That's a shame. Bob, if you and any other of your brat sons want some more than you know where to find us. Lance: Well it just so happens that they do and here's what I'm talking about. Brad Armstrong is standing in a hospital hallway. Brad: Ron Fuller! I guess this just wont end. You opened up old wounds and now you and your goons are going to pay. My father will be back in no time, trust me. I talked with my brother Scott and we're coming and we're coming for you! Get ready for some Armstrong payback! Lance: Ok, Brad and Scott are on their way and you're the targets. I'm sure Bob wont be far behind. Fuller: (laughs) Those hotheads will never get to me, not with the Syndicate standing in their way. As for Father Bob. Every moment you're in that hospital bed healing, you think of me boy. Commercial Break Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Vic Dutro Yatsu puts on a awesome display of suplexes before finishing Dutro off with a sitout powerbomb! The fans and Lance are excited when American Made comes out and meets Yatsu at the podium. Kernodle: At Parade of Champions, this man Yoshiaki Yatsu showed us what class is all about. Kirchner: That's right. That slime Slinker thought he got the last laugh but it was obvious he didn't. Yoshiaki Yatsu has earned our full respect and if there's anything we can ever do for you just let us know. Kernodle and Kirchner shake Yatsu's hand and Yatsu bows to them. Yatsu bows to Lance and says "I want to bring honor to the ring" Commercial Break TV Champ Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair w/Les Thornton vs. William Hillman Thornton relishes every moment as he holds up the TV title. St. Clair simply outclasses his opponent before finishing him off with a floating butterfly suplex! Boos as Thornton leads St. Clair to the podium. Lance: Well Rick Martel's long and successful run as TV champ came to end end at Parade of Champions. Tony, congratulations. Les: We don't need that from you. We did what we said we were going to do. Tony St. Clair proved with out a shadow of a doubt that he is the greatest wrestler in the world. He soundly defeated the great Rick Martel and here he is representing USWA television. You see what this man does in the ring. He's a pure technician. There's nobody that can go toe to toe with him. Nobody can match his style and technique. It all comes down to this, Tony St. Clair is simply the best. St. Clair: Thank you for the flattering words Les. You came to me with a plan and we did it. I showed Rick Martel and the world that United Kingdom wrestling is superior to any other wrestling on the face of the earth. So to all the so called contenders out there, take a shot because after I'm done with you you wont want another. Commercial Break The Club (Mike George and his new partner Steve O) vs. Willie Lopez and Curtis Jackson George and Steve come out with matching shiny yellow boxing style robes with 'The Club' written in black letters on the back. George hits a running shoulder breaker on Lopez then tags in Steve. Steve gets on the top rope as George holds Lopez in an armbar. Steve comes down with a knee to the shoulder to get the pin! Lance: Come on over boys. Very nice win. So Mike, what's going on here with your new partner Steve Olsonoski? Mike: Well Lance, after Art Crews and myself lost at Parade of Champions, everybody saw our manager Arnold Skaaland throw his towel at us and walk out. Art was pretty distraught about the whole thing and told me he needed some time away. I completely understand and Art, best wishes buddy, get things together. Now I've been in this business a long time and every wrestler goes through a slump. I want to get back on track so I called my old friend Steve O and he was more than excited to come here and join me. Steve, welcome to the Club. Steve: Thank you Mike and it feels good to be teaming up and taking care of business in the ring. We have some gr.... Boos as Arnold Skaaland walks out. Arnold: Oh Mike, Mike, Mike Mike. Here you go again. You just don't know when to quit do you? It's time to cut your losses and head out. You're a pretty good wrestler but its obvious your best days are behind you. Steve, be smart and just walk away before your career disappears. Mike: Be careful Arnold. What's done is done and we can part ways but just watch yourself. Arnold: Relax, I actually like this fire you're showing. It's about damn time. I'll tell you what. I have been talking with a couple of extremely talented wrestlers and they are the real deal. Matter of fact I'm calling them the Elite. Why don't we have a little match next week, here on TV. My new team needs a little tune up and why not against you two? Steve: Mike, I've got your back. Arnold, You want a match against us? Set it up! Arnold smirks at them and puts his towel on his shoulder then walks away. Commercial Break USWA and Central States Tag Team Champs The Grapplers vs. Larry Jones and Todd Rooney Grapplers destroy their opponents and of course the finish sees Grappler 1 hoist Rooney up as Grappler 2 nails him with a flying clothesline from the middle ropes! It's a cool visual to see the Grapplers hold up both sets of titles. Lance: Ok Grapplers come on over. You now hold both sets of titles and have ridded the USWA of Sonny King and The Movement. Grappler 1: A big thank you to Bruiser Brody. The look on Sonny King's face at Parade of Champions was priceless. Grappler 2: And it feels so good to have both sets of titles! It proves what we already know, we're the best! Boos as Karachi Vice comes out. Gama: You come out here and make false claims. You make us sick! You can not claim to be the best when you have not faced the Karachi Vice! You saw what we did to the Harts. That is nothing compared to what we do to you! Makhan: We are demanding a shot! You don't stand a chance! Grappler 1: Anytime anyplace! Karachi Vice have some evil smiles as they leave. Lance: Ok, looks like we just saw the Grapplers next opponents. Colon looks great as he wins the match with a flying body press. Lance: Well Carlos, you and Ayala had another war and in the end he shocked everybody and myself included when he shook your hand. Colon: Yes I was taken off guard as well. I commend him on that act of sportsmanship. When it's all said and done we are both fierce competitors. Lance: I understand you're heading for a 2 week tour of Japan. Next week we will have some footage as you will take on the very dangerous Tiger Jeet Singh. Colon: Yes, I'm very much looking forward to my trip to Japan and to compete against Tiger Jeet Singh. He's a very dangerous man but after my battles with Ayala, I'm ready. Commercial Break A vignette is shown. Smugglers Blues is playing as a Ferrari drives up to a club. Out steps a man wearing white pants, a red Hawaii shirt with a couple buttons unbuttoned showing off his gold chains. He takes off his sunglasses, smiles and looks in the camera. "Vinnie Valentino is the name but you can call me the Vin Man. I hear the USWA is in need of some style and charisma. Well look no more because the Vin Man is coming. I'm not some square like Gino Brito. To many of those types running around. No sir, the Vin Man is young, energetic and full of pizazz. Get ready because the Vin Man is on his way!" Lightfoot doesn't see it and slams Huber down then swings off the ropes and comes down with a flying chop. Lightfoot covers then sees the Ref is down. Lightfoot goes to check on the Ref. Huber rolls out of the ring and grabs his sledgehammer. Huber sneaks back in the ring and drops it down on Lightfoot's back. Huber tosses the hammer and wakes up the Ref then covers as the fans boo 1..2..3! Lance: That was terrible. I expected better from Spike Huber. Spike why did you do that? Huber holds up the sledgehammer as the fans boo. Huber: Because I'm the foreman which means I'm the boss and I get things done by any means necessary! Lance: That's disappointing. Fans I'll see you next week. Here's a video of Paul Orndorff to end the show. USWA Breaking News Tully Blanchard defeated Kerry Von Erich to win the USWA Title!!!!! The match took place on Wednesday night at the Louisville Convention Center. Apparently there is no footage of the match but there was a reporter for Pro Wrestling Illustrated at ringside and this was his account. "The champ Kerry Von Erich came out on crutches before the opening bout and was extremely apologetic that due to a leg injury suffered at Parade of Champions he was not medically cleared to defend his title tonight against Tully Blanchard. That announcement brought out Tully (with a bandage on his forehead from P.O.C.) and Baby Doll. Tully took the mic and berated Kerry. Baby Doll said Kerry is no man. Kerry stepped forward on his crutches and Tully kicked one of the crutches out from under him and gave him a few stomps, then hit Kerry's leg several times with the crutch before officials ran in to break it up. After a couple matches it was announced that Kerry would defend his title tonight against Doctor's orders." "As for the match. Kerry basically fought on one leg and put up a fight until Baby Doll distracted him and Tully clipped him behind the leg. Tully slammed Kerry's leg against the steel post then Baby Doll distracted the Ref while Tully grabbed a chair and hit it on Kerry's leg. Tully hung the leg on the rope and came down with several knee drops on the leg. Tully applied the figure four. Kerry fought valiantly but ended up passing out. The fans almost started a riot as Baby Doll handed the title to Tully and Tully held it high with an arrogant smirk on his face." Stay tuned for more details of this shocking event on the next TV episode.

The stage is set for Rage in the cage! The Killer Bees are born and kick things off with a win. Great job hyping Tsuruta/Hogan. This is the 80s at its best. The flag stipulation really adds some good heat to this match. Lot's of intrigue as another champion will be at ringside for the Nikita/Hansen match. Flair gets the mic this week and has some strong words for Landel. I cant wait for the long awaited Battle of the Nature Boys inside the cage. Sawyer gets the lucky draw but Olympia retains. This is becoming one of my favorite segments. Wild main event as Piper and RnR get the win but Los Mega Stars get the last word with some baseball bats. Rage in the Cage is almost here!!!

Things are heating up for Seattle Showdown. Vice Squad take on a new demeanor. Watch out Pacific. Gilbert and Beefcake have gotten themselves in hot water with Jake and the Freebirds as Burke takes advantage and pulls out a quick win. Nice tag match as Manny and Rude get a good win over Badd Co. Dundee's experience combined with Cameron's power makes a solid unit. Playboy Club better not underestimate them. Taylor escapes with his title but things might be different at Showdown when he faces the White Angel in a NO DQ or C.O. match. Seattle Showdown is stacked!

USWA releases Carl Fergie, Keith Hart, Mike Miller, Ron Slinker, Sonny King, Super Strong Machine and Steve Armstrong USWA picks up Tiger Jeet Singh, Timothy Flowers, Spike Huber, Norvell Austin, Vinnie Valentino, and the RPMs (Mike Davis and Tommy Lane) USWA trades Ron Bass to Mid Atlantic for Bob Roop Thanks Kev

Good to see Perez get back on the winning track. I like the way he's developing here. Bam Bam is looking strong heading into his show down with Gordy. I'll say it again, Jake with the Freebirds is pretty damn cool. Say what you want about them but the Playboy Club is one cohesive unit. Steamboat and Muraco continue to tear it up. Yamada continues his successful LH Champ reign. Speaking of successful reigns, Gordy has taken on all comers. This time he gets the win over a game Adams. I like what you've done with Flamboyance. They keep moving up the ladder. That Billy Jack/Kabuki match would of been a wild one to watch. Thundercats win the rematch and prove their title win wasn't a fluke. Zenk retains in a draw with Orton. This might be Zenk's toughest challenge. It will be fun watching Orton chase him for the title.

USWA sends Pez Whatley, Tiger Conway and a wrestler to be named later to the WWF for Paul Orndorff, David Sammartino and Jose Luis Rivera.

As always, great job. The Gentleman's Club is pure genius! Fuller is so damn good. His first guest Sunshine drops a bombshell as she introduces her new clients, the Islanders! This works well as she will be a solid mouthpiece for them. I hope to see a lot more of the Gentleman's Club. LOL, Sheik's promo was spot on. Sheik and Slaughter could be the feud of the summer. Again, the commentators add so much to the show. Oh yea! Bundy vs. Candyman at Mania! Looks like Andre and Giant Machine are heading for a colossal showdown. WOW! Backlund gives young David a beating he'll never forget! David does the stretcher job. Very well done segment. Vince and Alfred sold this well. Bruno being filled with hate and concern summed it all up. I know Bruno is going to want a piece of Backlund. It's personal now. Patera doesn't get long to celebrate as Heenan demands he defends against his man Valentine. We have our first IC title program. Things are setting up nicely for WrestleMaina. It's going to be an epic 4th of July!

Another outstanding TV show! Really like this feud going between Savage and Link. Savage threatening him and Link acting baffled was good stuff. This is going to get crazy. I look forward to Landel every week and once again he's gold. I cant wait for him and Flair in the cage. Olympia is the first TV champ. Great choice! I'm looking forward to this concept. Fiesta Garden returns with Roddy Piper as the guest! I'm sure this will be nice and cordial LOL. After a battle of words, Piper destroys the set with a bat. Awesome TV! This could be an epic feud. Wow! Nikita destroys Gagne and almost kills him. Hansen comes out but the Russians numbers are to much until BRODY hits the ring! Man this was freak'n great! Brody and Hansen together could rule the AWA. On to the house shows. Olympia carries his TV title momentum with a big win over Slater. RnR get the DQ win over Los Mega Stars. The rematch at Rage in the Cage will be a good one. Chaos as Savage and Link battle to a double c.o. I'm sure more chaos is on the way. Hogan and Johnson are one charismatic team as they take down Tsuruta and Kabuki. We'll see how Hogan does against Tsuruta at Rage. Nikita continues his dominance getting a strong win over the strongman Bravo. The poor sport Embry gives Doll a vicious post match beating. This could be a fun undercard feud. Big win for HTM over Wahoo. I wonder what happened to Brad Armstrong? Rich takes Sawyer down in a bloody dog collar match! This defiantly took a toll on both men. I loved this feud IRL and it was just as intense here in the AWA. Man, Brody and Hansen send the Russians running. Mega main event as the faces send the fans home happy. Good job making Flair's figure four a strong finisher. Awesome job as always Gene.

Strong is out and Boone is in. Talk about a monster team. Things get crazy as 3 teams end up fighting. YES! A 3 way for the titles at Seattle Showdown. Right on, I'm all for a Freebirds/Hot Stuff feud. Orton looks good against Perez. Zenk's title reign might be in trouble with a focused Orton coming after him. WOW! New champs! The Thundercats pull it off in a exciting TV match. This title change felt huge. Nice job. Cant wait for Seattle Showdown!
-
Wow, Boone comes to town and gets a big submission win over Hector. The Flamboyance-Yamada/Smothers feud has been a gem undercard feud. Snuka racks up another win, this time over the tough Leo Burke. Zenk has been on fire since winning the Ca. title. Nord gets the fall over the other Barbarian. The Steamboat/Muraco feud continues. The fans got their money's worth on that main event. Man what a classic tag match. After that performance I'm hoping for a rematch.

USWA Parade of Champions Preview w/Jerry Jarrett Jarrett: The Parade of Champions comes to you next Saturday from the Texas Stadium and will be broadcasted on closed circuit TV. Here's a rundown of the matches and how they came to be. The Club (Mike George and Art Crews) w/Arnold Skaaland vs. The Fabulous Blondes (Chick Donovan and "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal) George sought out Crews and thought they had something. They struggled a bit until Skaaland came to town and offered his expertise. They accepted and started winning. The Blondes defeated them a few times. Skaaland became frustrated with his boys and told them they needed to stay focused. Skaaland got them a rematch and The Club promised him a different outcome. The Blondes laughed at this and are looking past them and want a title shot. Battle Royal- Winner will receive 50,000 Dollars and the Parade of Champions Trophy Siva Afi, Bulldog Brown, Gino Brito Jr., Ted Arcidi, Buzz Tyler, Dale Veasey, Joe Lightfoot and coming out of retirement Carl Fergie The USWA wanted this to be something special and the win to mean something. Jarrett thinks this will be more intense with only 8 participants. American Made vs. The Japanese Furies w/Ron Slinker This all started when Sgt. Slaughter destroyed Slinker at Scores to Settle. The next couple of weeks Slinker came out on TV and bad mouthed Slaughter and said he ran him out of town. Slaughter's old friend Don Kernodle showed up and challenged Slinker. Kernodle won but Boris Zhukov ran in. Kernodle was prepared as Corporal Kirchner came out to fight with him. Over the next couple months American Made defeated Slinker and a variety of partners. A fed up Slinker went to Japan and enlisted the Japanese Furies (Yoshiaki Yatsu and Junji Hirata). Slinker made a threatening challenge and American Made gladly accepted. "The Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller vs. "Outlaw" Ron Bass Bass was originally set to face Carlos Colon in a number one contender's match. Things changed when Colon defeated Hercules Ayala for the Central States title. An irate Bass called everyone cowards and said everybody was afraid to wrestle him. A week later Fuller arrived and said he would step up and take him on. The Master G's (George Wells and Gerry Morrow) vs. The Syndicate (Brian Adias and Gary Young) w/Carl Fergie Wells and Adias were known as the Naturals and eventually won the Central States Tag Titles. They lost the titles a couple weeks later and a frustrated Adias blamed Wells and attacked him after the match. Carl Fergie talked with Adias and formed the Syndicate with Gary Young (also a former Central State tag champ). Wells came back with Morrow as his partner and these teams have been going at it since. "Crippler" Rip Oliver vs. Mean Mike Miller Miller has made quite a bit of money as a hired henchmen during his stint in the USWA. Carl Fergie interfered in a match with Oliver and Oliver put a beating on him. Fergie hired Miller and Miller did a number on Oliver. It wasn't long before Oliver demanded a one on one with Miller. Karachi Vice vs. Bruce and Keith Hart The Great Gama came to the USWA and quickly got in the ear of Mike Shaw. Shaw changed his name to Makhan Singh and credited Gama for finally being able to find his true self. Gama had a motive and that was to restart an old feud with Bruce Hart. John Quinn came in to help Hart but Karachi Vice put Quinn out of action. In came brother Keith. Karachi Vice have vowed to take the Harts out. The Harts say they're going to show the Karachi Vice what the Hart blood is all about. Tornado Match Scott and Steve Armstrong vs. Southern Justice (The Batten Twins) These teams have been a strong supporting cast in the Tully/Bullet feud. They have traded wins, battled to double DQs and double c.o.'s Jarrett hopes this match will finally put an end to this feud. Loser Leaves Town Match- Manager Carl Fergie included "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley vs. "The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich w/Cool Carl Fergie These guys engaged in a wild feud a few months ago and things seemed to settle down. It picked back up again after Cooley defeated Rich in a match to earn a TV title shot. Rich attacked Cooley after Cooley's match with TV champ Martel and things picked up right where they left off. Fergie wanted to up the ante in this match by making it a loser leaves town match. Cooley accepted on the condition that if he won, Fergie would have to pack his bags as well. TV Title Bout Rick Martel (C) vs. Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair w/Les Thornton Martel has been a fighting TV champ for almost 6 months and has defended against both heels and fan favorites. Les Thornton brought over UK wrestling sensation Tony St. Clair to show that UK wrestling is far more superior than American wrestling. For awhile St. Clair even refused to wrestle on TV saying the competition was not worth his time and the fans would have to pay to watch a man of his talent. St. Clair has picked up numerous wins and earned himself a title shot. Thornton has said that they will win the title and Martel will then bow to show his proper respects. Martel says he's studied all of St. Clair's matches and has been training hard and is more than prepared. Central States Taped Fist Title Match Carlos Colon (C) vs. Hercules Ayala w/Sonny King Both of these men are former brass knuckles champs and feuded over that title last year. The feud reignited this year over the Central States title and Colon defeated Ayala for it. A furious Ayala challenged Colon to this taped fist rematch. Just like old times. STEEL CAGE MATCH! "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs. Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll This has been a brutal and heated feud every since Bob came in under a mask to fill in for Mr. Olympia and defeat Tully These guys have gone at it and have beaten each other up on several occasions. Tully and Southern Justice even put Bob out of action for awhile. Outside interference has been a common problem so Jarrett decided to put them in a cage and let them fight it out. 6-Man Tag- Both the USWA and Central States titles will be on the line USWA Tag Champs The Grapplers and ??? vs. Central States Tag Champs The Movement and Sonny King Sonny felt the Movement should of represented the USWA in the Crockett Cup and not the Grapplers. Things got crazy during a match on TV when Sonny interfered with a chair. Jarrett said since Sonny wanted to get involved then he will. The Grapplers were able to pick a partner and they said they have one coming in for one night only and Texas will love it. Recently on TV, Sonny issued the challenge for all titles to be on the line. Grapplers accepted then Sonny and The Movement beat them down and Sonny cracked both Grapplers over the heads with their titles belts. This should be a wild one. ANYTHING GOES STREET FIGHT! Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Adrian Adonis Last year Jerry Jarrett bought out WCCW and formed the USWA. He signed a unification match between TNT champ Lawler and WCCW champ Nick Bockwinkel. The winner would be crowned the USWA champ. Adonis interfered and costed Lawler the match and said there was no way he could watch Jarrett's golden boy represent the USWA. This goes back to when Adonis and Dick Murdoch were tag champs and got fed up with Jarrett playing favorites. Adonis walked out with Murdoch but came back for some gratification. Adonis severely injured Lawler and bragged about it. Lawler came back to wrestle Adonis at Scores to Settle but Adonis threw some burning substance in Lawler's face to get the win. Lawler returned once again to face Adonis in the Mid South Coliseum. This time Lawler was DQed for piledriving Adonis on a chair. Adonis returned and they've been fighting non stop. Jarrett sanctioned this match believing it will be the only way to resolve this feud. This one's going to get bloody. USWA Heavyweight Title Bout Nick Bockwinkel (C) vs. Kerry Von Erich Every since becoming the USWA champ, Bock has defeated all challengers. During a special TV show at the Sportatorium, Bock bad mouthed the venue, the fans and Texas. That brought out the hero Kerry Von Erich. Kerry challenged Bock to a title match but Bock said he needed to earn it. Kerry said ok let's wrestle tonight and if I win I will get a shot. Well, Kerry won and got the shot. Even though Bock remained arrogant and confident, people sensed Bock was worried about the challenge. They might have been right because Bock attacked Kerry on TV and tried to hurt his leg and weaken him. This only motivated Kerry as he was in the gym that week working out the leg. Bock has continued to bad mouth Texas and says Kerry is undeserving of a title match and doesn't conduct himself as a champion. Bock says he's a class act champ. Kerry has vowed to take the title in his home state. Jarrett: Fans I'll see you next week in Texas for the historic Parade of Champions.

USWA places Ron Bass on the block.

Great follow up show from SNME as we get some new storylines going. I absolutely love the Southern Gentleman character. I can totally hear Fuller's southern drawl. LOL his promo from his plantation was priceless. The battle royal between his workers (at their own volition of course) had me rolling. Fidel wins the bodyguard role. This gimmick is going to be so much fun. A Bundy/Candyman program will be a good big man match draw. WOW! Didn't see that swerve coming as the Islanders give the Fantastics quite a beating. I always preferred the Islanders as heels so I'm looking forward to this. I like the little jabs Bruno is taking at Backlund. LOL speaking of Bruno, him playing the straight man to the overly excited Vince is good stuff. I've said this before but the commentating adds so much to your shows. Shultz makes some disparaging remarks towards Tito. Shultz is one crazy dude but Tito is full of fire. Ariba! President Tunney announces the huge main event for WrestleMania! The Superstar gets his rematch. He better watch out because the unhinged Backlund might get his hands on him before the big event. Andre closes the show but who is this monster of a man that confronted him? Man I cant wait to find out. As always great job!

The bell rings and the fight is on! It's a back and forth fight. Adias gets the upper hand and chokes Wells on the bottom rope. The Ref guides him back which allows Fergie and Young to get some shots in on Wells. Morrow runs over and double clotheslines them down. Adias runs to the ropes and is yelling down at Morrow. Wells staggers up. Adias turns around and Wells puts him down with a tackle 1..2..3!! Big POP! Morrow runs in and celebrates with Wells. Johnny Rich runs out and helps Fergie and Young up. Parade of Champions will be Slinker's revenge. Standing behind me are the most ruthless wrestlers Japan has to offer. Not only will they defeat American Made but they will make them suffer and then they will make them suffer some more. They will dismantle them body part by body part and I will relish every moment. Commercial Break Central States Champ Carlos Colon vs. Matt Franklin Right before the match starts, Hercules Ayala hits the ring with taped fists and knocks out Franklin. Colon runs over and the two start fighting! They trade fists until Ayala lowblows Colon. Ayala fires away with several taped fists on Colon's head. Officials run in. Ayala gets in a few more shots then leaves the bleeding Colon lying. Lance: My goodness. Colon is being helped out of here. We'll be right back Commercial Break Lance: Please welcome out the USWA Tag Team Champs the Grapplers. It will be you boys and a mystery partner taking on the Movement and Sonny King at Parade of Champions. Can you give any clues on your partner? Grappler 1: All I'm going to say is he's coming in for one night only and the fans in Texas are going to love it. Grappler 2: Yea and he loves beating people up just as much as we do. Movement and especially you Sonny King, we're looking to put the hurt on you! Boos as Sonny King and the Movement come out Lance: Wait a minute. Ayala already caused enough trouble, we don't need any more. King: Relax, if we wanted to waste these two masked idiots we would of already done it. Listen up! The powers that be so desperately want to get rid of the Movement that they put us in a ridiculous match. Well since the Grapplers are so scared and need a mystery partner, I have a challenge of my own. Why don't we also make this a title vs. title match? That's right, we want the USWA titles and we're going to get them. Grappler 1: That's fine by us! Now we get to beat you boys up and take away your straps! Also at the Parade of Champions Rick Martel defends the TV title against Tony St. Clair. Let's hear pre recorded from St. Clair and his manager Les Thronton. St. Clair is wearing a sparkling Union Jack colored robe while Thornton is in a sweat suit. Thornton: It's only a matter of time before Tony St. Clair shows the world what we already know and that he's simply the best. This man is a United Kingdom wrestling legend. His title reigns have lasted for years. Matter of fact he never lost the British Heavyweight Championship. He relinquished it to come over here and dominate American wrestling. Rick Martel, you're the first step in achieving greatness here. You've had a tremendous TV title run but that comes to an abrupt end at Parade of Champions. And then we may just have you bow down afterwards to show your proper respects. Lance: A very confident duo. Please welcome out the TV champion Rick Martel. Rick you just heard the comments. Your thoughts? Martel: For almost 6 months I've held this title and have defended against anyone and everyone. I want Mr. Thornton to know that I've been training hard for Tony St. Clair. I've watched tapes of all his matches and have him scouted well. I'm more than prepared and I plan on walking out of Texas Stadium with this title around my waist. Lance: That should be an outstanding match up. We'll be right back. They double team Scott on the outside. Tully picks up Steve and looks into the camera "This is for you Father Armstrong!" Tully then executes another Sling Shot Suplex! The fans roar as Bob Armstrong storms out with a chair! Southern Justice backs off as Tully and Baby Doll quickly exit. Lance: Tempers and tension is at an all time high tonight as we head into Parade of Champions. I cant imagine what our main event will be like. I guess we'll find out when we return. Buckle up fans. Man, with so many awesome factions I cant pick my favorite. Del Ray brings in some crafty vets in Golden and Rose and it pays off as they defeat the Playboy Club. Not a bad debut. Beefcake gets a huge win over Kabuki. Hanging with Missy and Gilbert has worked wonders for him. Orton calls a meeting and makes some big promises. Will he come through? Love the battle of the Barbarians match up. Of course it ends in chaos. Shocking ending as Jake aligns with the Freebirds! This is a very dangerous group. Watch out Pacific. Vice Squad rack up another win over the Guerreros. YES! Another falls count anywhere match! Smothers wins the battle but I don't think the war is over. Pretty impressive win for the Superfly as he hits the splash on a game Perez. Strong is gone! LOL Taylor once again finds a way to retain. Classic chicken heel move. Bam Bam continues to get the best of the Freebirds. Can he carry that momentum against the champ Gordy? Badd Co. gives the Playboy Club a run but the rule breaking champs pull it out. Lot's of good stuff this week. Great job!
