USWA @ The Hammond Center 11-26-85 Thanksgiving Tag Team Tournament The Winners will wrestle The Elite at WrestleStorm for the Central States Tag Team Titles Round 1 The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Super Samoans w/Leilani Kai RPMs are all over the Samoans in the opening minutes. Samoans come back and take it hard to the RPMs. It gets crazy as the RPMs send Sakalia flying through the ropes with a double dropkick, then nail Tui with the Spandex Split for the win! Kai is visibly upset with her team. The Technicians vs. The Devil's Duo w/Goldie Rogers Duo attacks at the bell and put the fists to the Technicians. Technicians take control and totally frustrate the Duo with a variety of wrestling maneuvers. Fleming executes a Northern Lights Suplex on Vines 1..2..Sword breaks it. Rheingans runs in and sends Sword flying with a running forearm blast. The Ref is trying to guide Rheingans to his corner when Goldie runs in the ring with a bag and levels Fleming over the head. The bag explodes and gold coins are everywhere! The Ref turns around as Vines covers Fleming 1..2..3! Rheingans is looking at all the coins and shows the Ref. The Ref is scolding Rogers but he officially didn't see it happen so the decision stands. The Bruise Brothers vs. The CEOs The CEOs look very unfocused which is probably due to the ongoing investigation of their company. Bruise Brothers on the other hand are in total synch. Cash tags in Snowman. Cash hits a jumping headbutt on Crews, then Snowman follows with a running powerslam for the win! The Red Dragons vs. The Magnificent Ones w/The Vin Man These teams have had quite the rivalry and as luck would have it they drew each other for this first round match up. Seesaw match as both teams are in high gear tonight. After a good 15 minute match, the end comes when Fuchi swings off the ropes but (from the outside) Vinnie trips him. Fuchi stumbles into a cradle by Kelly for the pin. Vinnie gets his guys out of there quick! Semi-Finals The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Devil's Duo w/Goldie Rogers Things get going quick when the Duo tries to ambush the RPMs but the RPMs were ready and took the fight to them. RPMs are in total control with quick tags and a lot of swift double team moves. Things change when Sword sends Lane through the ropes with a clothesline to the back of the head. Sword distracts the Ref while Vines holds Davis. Goldie climbs to the top rope and jumps down with a double axehandle but Davis moves and Goldie nails Vines! Davis punches Goldie then drops an elbow on Vines. On the outside, Lane reaches in and holds Sword's leg while the Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! The RPMs advance to the finals! The Bruise Brothers vs. The Magnificent Ones w/The Vin Man This one's 10 minutes of hard hitting action. All 4 men are in there fighting. Cash swings off the ropes and once again Vinnie interferes with a trip. Cash stumbles forward but before Kiniski can do anything, he's leveled from behind by Snowman! Cash regains his footing and drops a big elbow on Kiniski 1..2..3! Kelly tries to break it but Snowman puts him down with a tackle. Vinnie is up on the apron. The Bruise Brothers grab him and a double headbutt sends Vinnie flying! Bruise Brothers advance to the finals! Special Match Corporal Kirchner vs. "The Russian Brute" Chris Markoff This feud has really escalated and these men will be on opposing teams at WrestleStorm. The entrances couldn't of been more different as each man comes out waving their country's flag. The bell rings and the brawl is on. Within minutes both men are bleeding because this is just a fight. The fight of course goes to the outside and neither man is interested in beating the count as they continue throwing punches long after they've been counted out. Nothing resolved tonight. Tournament Finals The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Bruise Brothers Before the match, Arnold Skaaland leads his Elite (Sammartino and Hart) to the ring. Skaaland is wearing a cheap suit and holding his towel while the Elite are wearing 70s style track suits. Skaaland cuts a promo and says it doesn't matter who wins the tournament because The Elite are going to win the Central States Titles at WrestleStorm. Boos as Skaaland and The Elite sit down by the timekeepers table. Both teams receive roaring cheers as they head to the ring. Also, both teams exchange looks with the arrogant looking Elite. The bell rings and all 4 men shake hands. Both teams want the title opportunity so nobody holds anything back. 10 minutes in, Davis vertical suplexes Cash and Lane follows with a splash from the top rope 1..2..Cash barely gets his shoulder up. Lane swings Cash to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Cash kicks him then dives over and tags in Snowman. Bruise Brothers control the next segment. Snowman body slams Lane and Cash follows with a knee drop from the middle ropes 1..2..Davis respectfully breaks it. At the 20 minute mark, Lane eventually tags in Davis. RPMs regain control, double body slam Snowman and follow with a double elbow drop 1..2..Cash respectfully breaks it. Davis swings Snowman to the ropes but they both collide with shoulder blocks. Snowman stumbles back and tags in Cash. Davis staggers up as Cash swings off the ropes and nails him with a cross body diving headbutt 1..(Lane runs in but Snowman drills him with a clothesline)..2..3! The Bruise Brothers have won the tournament! Snowman goes over and helps Lane up. Cash helps Davis up. The RPMs regain their senses. The RPMs are clearly disappointed but grab the Bruise Brothers arms and raise them as the fans cheer. The Bruise Brothers shake the RPMs hands and raise their arms as well. Skaaland and the Elite stand up but before they leave, Skaaland throws his towel in the ring at the Bruise Brothers. The RPMs gracefully exit to let the Bruise Brothers enjoy their moment.

The road to Battleground was filled with a lot of intriguing storylines and tonight we get the thrilling conclusion. You know it's going to be a great night when the opening match is the Hart Foundation vs. Muta and Kabuki. It appears Muta has turned to the dark side. An evil Muta is scary. Sommers and Easy Ed get the win. I agree with Young, the Vice Squad might need some time to regroup. Dang! Jake's group sent a powerful message tonight! Jake is not one to mess with. Well it finally happened. Smothers put his partner down with the Jawbreaker and left him in the hands of the Freebirds. No coming back from this as I'm sure Armstrong will be out for blood. In a fun underrated feud, Badd Co. has put a stamp on their rivalry with the Dog Pound. This was one of those feuds that elevated both teams. British Steel is coming on strong. They didn't win the straps tonight but have solidified themselves as serious threats. On the flip side, I've been a big fan of the heel Guerreros title run. I agree, Perez is the real deal after this great showing against Hito. Perez is a man with all the tools. HUGE night for the Crazy Gang! It starts here as Orton ends Texas Red's dominant TV title reign. I guess it didn't take long for the Vice Squad to regroup as they set their sites on Red. IDK, this might of been a grave mistake. Cabin Fever has done it. They end the fun and odd championship run of Rose and Haynes. Not only that but they send Haynes out on a stretcher. If this happened in Portland, it might of caused a riot. Crazy Gang are now the top dogs in Pacific. Absolute classic title bout to end the night! Steamboat and Gilbert just have those styles that mesh so well. Great match and I have to admit I was stunned when Gilbert won the title. Stunned in a good way. The storytelling to Gilbert's chase was engaging and it delivered the ultimate payoff. Hot Stuff along with Missy brings in a new era in 1986. Like Steamboat, Gilbert will be a fun underdog fighting champion and will give the fans a lot of classics. Awesome job!
-
Lot's of intrigue heading into Battleground. Things are boiling between Armstrong and Smothers. Will Battleground be the night Cabin Fever takes home the gold? WOW! Gary Young comes in with a bang as the Vice Squad to a number on Texas Red. I'm sure Orton will take full advantage of this at Battleground. Steamboat puts down his old rival Muraco and has some serious momentum going in against Gilbert. Can't wait for Thanksgiving!
-
I wonder what's gotten into Smothers? I know Armstrong has had about enough. Zenk better be on high alert with Jake promising to make him pay. Hart's brass knuckles were no match for the green mist. Gary Hart knows all about that. I bet Gary is a little worried. Has Texas Red finally met his match with Grizzly Boone? I'm liking the Steamboat/Gilbert storyline. Good allies but also fierce competitors. We'll see how things go down in their upcoming title match. Muta and Kabuki have things going their way against the Hart Foundation. Gary better come up with a plan. Cameron looked strong with that win over Taylor. Speaking of strong wins, Crazy Gang got one on Rose/Haynes and Red. Good showing for Adams as he takes Steamboat to the limit. Steamboat has a lot of challengers gunning for him. Things are tense with Busick and Bigelow but they manage to pull off the win. Guerreros continue to have a firm grip on the Golden State titles. I've enjoyed their run here. My guys the Pacific Warlords get another crack at the titles but Rose and Haynes pull it out. This unlikely duo has shown some great chemistry. Texas Red had a tough week but ended it strong with a win over Manny. I really like all the factions and intertwining storylines going. Makes for an exciting read. So much happening as Pacific heads into Thanksgiving with a ton of momentum.

So much great stuff this week! Damn! The Sawyers really did a number on the Dynamite Duo! Great preview to what's in store for Thanksgiving. Bullet Bob is fired up and he can't wait to get his hands on Kamala. This feud has been built up so well and man I would do anything I could to be there on Thanksgiving. Wright better stay out of Bullet's way. Grunt The Wrestling movie! Wow that's a blast from the past. HAHAHAHA! The Fergie Penthouse segment was hilarious. The bottle of champagne sent in by Morrow was priceless! We have to get these guys together! They could rule the USWA. Lance Von Erich ventures out of Texas and picks up a nice TV win. Looks like Embry got himself a Jr. title shot by giving the Platinum Club a big win. So many great heel stables in Twin States. A lot of tag teams will be gunning for Karachi Vice. Just look at that list of teams in the upcoming battle royal. Champ Mr. Olympia is off to a great start by retaining over Humungous. I hope Olympia has a long reign. He will draw a lot of money with the variety of challengers here. I was wondering about the odd Garvin-Mulligan pairing but I honestly didn't see that swerve coming. Jimmy Jam wants the bounty money but Mulligan is going to be one pissed off dude. I think Jimmy might of made a big mistake. Awesome stuff Gene! Thanksgiving is going to be insane!

USWA places Greg Gagne, David Sammartino and Bruce Hart on the block.

Man these shows get better and better! The first match between El Jefe and Cocoa really set the show's tone. You've got a serious hate filled feud going. It just goes to show that no matter who you have on a roster, it's the storytelling that matters. This is one of my favorite feuds in the game. LOL, great job with Iron Mike. He really was a good heel and now he's been given some good TV time to really show off his talents. I know Gaylord won't let that slap slide. Mantell is back and better than ever. He gets the opportunity of a lifetime at Seasons Beatings. This is good timing for him because he's going to get either Lawler or Funk after their war in the cage. Mantell just might bring the USWA title to Texas. But he should be careful because Karachi Vice is still pissed about that TV loss LOL. Black Bart is back! And he was smart to bring help. Wild Bill and Black Bart can defiantly go toe to toe with Brooks and Miller. Things are going to explode in Texas. The slap comes back to cost Sharpe. Looking forward to these two powerhouses going at it. BTW, the Texas Ranger has really gotten over with me. It's nice to see a babyface masked man getting a push. Tribal Nation arrives and before we know it they're in the ring with the Highwaymen and the titles are on the line! Awesome match! I was on the edge as the time was ticking down. Great job adding in this effect. I thought for sure a draw but NO! The Tribal Nation win the titles with seconds to spare. What an ending! So much going on in Texas! I can't wait to see the blow offs at Seasons Beatings!

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 11-20-85 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome once again to USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Well all the matches have been signed for WrestleStorm 2 and we're just a mere two weeks away from that historic event. We'll once again hear from Terry Funk as well as the USWA Champ Jerry Lawler. As for tonight's action, listen to this main event. The Rich's will team with the Central States Champ Dr. Dream Machine to take on Matt Borne, Rip Oliver and Dick Slater! I hope everything is bolted down. You will see a lot of tag team action tonight as all the teams gear up for the big Thanksgiving Night Tournament to see who will face The Elite at Wrestlestorm for the Central States Tag Titles. So let's get to the ring. The Red Dragons vs. Trent Watkins and Darren Dalton Dragons are in total control tonight. Yatsu nails Dalton with a karate kick that sends him into a back suplex by Fuchi for the win! Lance: The Red Dragons look prime and ready for the tournament. The tournament will take place at the Hammond Center and the first round match ups will be drawn that night. Fans, get your tickets because it will be an outstanding night of USWA tag team action. Oh would you look at this, here comes Ken Timbs and Art Crews, the CEOS. How's the investigation going. Both men look nervous and uneasy. Crews: Nothing to worry about. Nothing at all. Timbs: That's right. We want all our investors to know that everything is fine and that the CEOs are totally focused and ready to win the tournament. Crews: Yea, everything is ok and we'll be the Central States champs very soon and then our stock will skyrocket. Lance: Hmmmm not sure I'm buying all that. Commercial Break The Devil's Duo w/Goldie Rogers vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez The Duo are on the attack and don't let up. Sword tags in Vines. Sword hits a backbreaker and holds him while Vines comes off the top rope with a knee to the chest for the pin! Boos as Goldie leads his team to the podium. Goldie: Alright listen up Jack! You're not only looking at the winners of the tournament but you're looking at the future Central States tag team champions! The Devil's Duo have arrived and people are going to get hurt! Commercial Break Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Marcus Jones The fans are up and cheering as Sugar executes a flying headscissors on Jones. Sugar quickly goes to the top rope. Jones staggers up and Sugar nails him with a missile dropkick for the pin! Lance: Ok, Sweet Brown Sugar come on over here. Huge opportunity for you at Wrestlestorm. It's you and Tony St. Clair for the TV title. I'm sure you've heard the comments made by Les Thornton. Sugar: Lance, I've heard everything Thornton has said and it sounds to me like both of them are underestimating me a bit. Hey that's fine and dandy because I've never been more prepared in my life. I'm coming to WrestleStorm to win that TV title... Boos as Les Thornton comes out. Thornton: Oh Mr. Sugar I certainly admire your spunk. This is precisely why I handpicked you for this match. I know you will give us a show but there is simply no way you can defeat Tony St. Clair. The man has been the most dominant champion in the USWA which is why he's simply the best. But you keep up that passion of yours because it will make Tony's victory all the more sweeter. Sugar: Now Mr. Thornton I do love your confidence and I'm extremely honored to have been chosen for this grand opportunity. You talk about sweetness but aint nothing sweeter than sugar and holding up that TV title will be the sweetest moment of my career. Once again Mr. Thornton, I'm coming to win. Cheers as Sugar pumps his fists to the fans and exits. Thornton: I really do admire his energy but facts are facts. There isn't any wrestler that can defeat Tony St. Clair and poor Mr. Sugar will find that out at WrestleStorm. Good day Lance. Commercial Break We come back to a scene in a trendy restaurant. The Vin Man is sitting at a table with the Magnificent Ones and Mr. Pro. All of them are dressed for a night out on the town. Vinnie: Hey there! It's the Vin Man yea! And would you look at this. That's right, the Vin Man has put together a crew. You people are looking at the Crew that's going to call all the shots very soon. The Magnificent Ones are going to win the tournament and then I'm going to go all out on a well deserved Thanksgiving feast. Then at WrestleStorm I'm going to escort Mr. Pro to that 8-Man tag match and watch him put that no good bum Morowski on the shelve. Vinnie's Crew is going to set the wrestling world on fire in 1986! All four men hold up their glasses as Vinnie toasts to 1986. Lance: (pauses) Those guys are really something else. Speaking of that 8-man tag. One of those participants is set for action. "The Master of Disaster" Duke Myers vs. Carl Kellerman Duke just pummels his opponent. Duke adjusts the black sleeve on his arm then picks up Kellerman and puts him down with a short arm clothesline for the easy win. Boos as Duke holds up his arm then heads to the podium. Duke: At Wrestlestorm I'm gunning for you Siva Afi and if any of your partners get in the way (pats his arm) I'm going to clothesline them down! Boos as Timothy Flowers comes out wearing Sunny's headdress. Flowers: Duke, you and I had quite a feud over the summer and we know how tough each other is. I want you to know how much I respect you and your change of attitude. A change for the better my new friend. I know we'll work well at Wrestlestorm. Duke: Timothy, I have to say, you taking that headdress from Whining Rain Cloud was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. It looks so much better on you my new friend. Boos as Duke and Flowers hug. Lance: Oh brother, we'll be back. (Shakes his head) Commercial Break The Bruise Brothers vs. Russ Crane and Gerald Ramsey The fans are up and dancing as the Bruise Brothers come out to "We are family" by Sister Sledge Cash swings Crane to the ropes and hits a diving crossbody headbutt then tags in Snowman. Snowman hoists Crane on his shoulder and hits a running powerslam for the win! Bruise Brothers cut a promo and say they're rock'n and ready for the tournament and nobody is going to stop their momentum! Lance: (Smiling) The Bruise Brothers! Fans coming over here now is another team that will be in the tournament, I'm talking about Brad Rheingans and Mark Fleming, The Technicians. Lot's of competition in the tournament boys. Rheingans: You got that right Lance but the Technicians are all about competition and we're looking to face the best the USWA has to offer. Fleming: We've had some ups and down in the ring but Brad kept me focused and now the chemistry is really working. Rheingans: We're clicking Lance and winning the tournament will solidify what the Technicians are all about. Commercial Break Lance: Fans it's time to take you to another Terry Funk segment. Funk is standing behind a caged fence. Funk: Look at this eye! Because of Jerry Lawler, I have permanent damage but I don't care! For the past few weeks this cage has been my home. (Funk grabs the cage and shakes it then hits his head against it) Now I want you people to listen. I'm going to fight that pig Lawler in a cage and then you will never see Jerry Lawler again! I'm going to hurt him so bad you will never see him again! If I have to, I'll break his leg. If he gets up and hops, I'll break his other leg. If he crawls, I'll kick him in the head. Jerry Lawler is going to pay dearly for what he did to me. Hey, my family loves me, my brother loves me but I have no respect for that pig Jerry Lawler. I have a hatred for the man and I'm going take that sickness out of my mind! Funk hits his head against the cage until he starts to bleed. Lance: (After a long pause) I just don't know what to say. The man has completely lost it. Let's go to the ring. The Super Samoans w/Leilani Kai and Ripper Morgan vs. Peter Simms and Lucas Moore During the match, Kai is constantly yanking Morgan back with her chain as Morgan stomps and huffs while yelling "Ayala!" Kai shouts at the Samoans throughout the match to inflict more punishment. The Samoans do just that before finally finishing things off as Sakalia vertical suplexes Simms and Tui follows with a splash from the top rope! Kai pulls Morgan into the ring then unhooks the chain! Morgan runs over and nails Moore with a big boot! Morgan grabs the chain and starts choking Moore. Once Kai is satisfied, she gets the chain and hooks it around Morgan's neck then pulls him out of the ring. Kai looks in the camera and yells "You're next Ayala!" Commercial Break The Rock n Roll RPMS vs. William Hillman and Todd Rooney RPMs are in total synch tonight and finish things off with the Spandex Splits (Back body drop/Neckbreaker combo) for the win! Lance: Another big win for the RPMs. I would have to say they have to be considered favorites to win the tournament. We'll find out on Thanksgiving night at the Hammond Center. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, last week Gerry Morrow requested a meeting with DJ Peterson regarding their upcoming match at Wrestlestorm. DJ is coming out now. Welcome DJ. Ok and here comes Morrow. Easy gentlemen, I don't want any trouble now. Morrow: AHHHH relax Lance. I will get right to de point. Dis man beat me on national TV by cheating. It is the only way he could of defeated me and he knows it. He embarrassed me and now I want to embarrass him at the grandest event of the year. I want him out of de area. (Morrow pulls up his briefcase and opens it revealing a lot of money) Everybody knows I have all de money in de world and in dis briefcase is filled with 20,000 dollarz. Now, just by looking at dis poor man I know he does not have dis kind of money. Dat is not a problem. Dis is a simple wager. I will put up dis money and if he wins he gets it all. But if I win dis man must leave de area once and for all. I don't want you around. I want you gone! What do you say? Do you have faith in your abilities? I have faith in mine HAHAHA. The fans cheer as DJ looks out to them. DJ ponders it as he looks at the money. DJ: It's a bet! Big Pop! Lance: Ok stakes are high in the Gerry Morrow/DJ Peterson match at WrestleStorm. We'll be back but first a special music video. "Metal Health" by Quiet Riot plays as highlights from the Carlos Colon/Tiger Jeet Singh feud is shown. They will meet in a Caribbean Death Match at WrestleStorm! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink Beauty Shop sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the most watched segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Last week was quite a thrill as the greatest Central States Champ of all time covered that dirty Dick Slater with molasses and feathers like the chicken he is. Well now speaking of champions, my guests tonight are the current USWA tag team champs Karachi Vice. Boos as the champs come out. They point to their titles and hold up the "number one" finger. Britton: Welcome gentlemen and I mean real true gentlemen. Just like Dream Machine I feel you guys are the greatest USWA tag champs of all time. Nobody can beat you guys. The fans start chanting Gun-sling-ers! Gun-sling-ers! Gama and Makhan are livid and are yelling at the fans. Britton: You people shut up and show respect! Don't listen to these idiots. Gama: Last week was the biggest fluke in wrestling! We were looking for a good clean wrestling bout and those scoundrels cheated! Makhan: And now they will feel the wrath of Karachi Vice! Those wimps are going down! Gama: At Wrestlestorm we will show them and the entire world why we are the best! Next time it will be us on the attack! Next time we show no mercy! Next time they will be destroyed! More Gun-slinger-ers chants as Karachi Vice holds up their titles Britton: Those wannabe cowboys are in big big trouble! And the next time you all will see me is at Wrestlestorm with very special guests the Grapplers. I'll find out where they've been and what they're up to because I get all the scoops first. Tooooodles! Commercial Break The Elite (Hart, Sammartino) w/Arnold Skaaland vs. Roy Glader and Dave Welby Lot's of boos as the Elite dominate the match. The Elite win the match with a double rib breaker. More boos as Greg Gagne joins them at the podium. Skaaland: It seems to me this show has been all about showcasing teams for the tournament. Lance. what do they really win? The winners will face my boys Bruce Hart and David Sammartino for the newly restored Central States Tag Titles at WrestleStorm. They are going to win nothing but a lesson in tag team wrestling. My boys are walking out of Wrestlestorm with the titles, plain and simple! Speaking of Wrestlestorm, my other guy Greg Gagne has some words for that washed up loser Mike Georgie. Gagne: AWWW poor Mike George. What happened to your mentor Bob Brown? The Elite all laugh. Gagne: Oh and now Bob has given his moniker to Mike. How touching. They all laugh again. Gagne: Well let me tell you something Puppy Dog. You're getting into the ring with the Great Greg Gagne. This is going to be a walk in the park for me. I'm looking pass you and onto bigger things like a long overdue title shot. Mike George, you're a waste of my time and it's time to put you down puppy dog. Skaaland: Oh and don't think we forgot about his threat of bringing back up at Wrestlestorm. The baby had to go to Jarrett and get help. Well he's going to need it. Hey Mike, I'll be bringing this towel here to the match and I'll be more than happy to give it to your so called back up so they can throw it in to save you. More laughs as the Elite walk away. Lance: Those guys better be careful. Speaking of being careful, our main event when we come back. Commercial Break Dick Slater, Matt Borne and Rip Oliver vs. The Rich's and Central States Champ Dr. Dream Machine How else could this go? Once Slater sees Dream Machine he tackles him on the outside and starts pounding away. The Rich's/Borne and Oliver are brawling all over the ring! The match hasn't started and the Ref has given up on getting control. It's a No Contest but they give the fans a fight anyways. Slater picks up Dream and rams him into the steel post. Dream staggers back and Slater back suplexes him on the concrete! Wrestlers and Officials run out to back Slater off him. Inside the ring, Johnny and Rip are brawling in the corner while Tommy and Matt fight through the ropes. Wrestlers are breaking them up. Rip fires away on Johnny and punches him over the top rope then goes out after him but more wrestlers come out to break them up. It's a chaotic scene! Commercial Break A highlight package courtesy of Twin States Wrestling is shown of the Violent Gentlemen/Brad Armstrong and Wendell Cooley. That tag team title match will happen at WrestleStorm! Lance: My goodness, I believe things have calmed down but there's going to be a lot more fighting at WrestleStorm. Wow! (Deep breath). Ok, you just saw a video sent from Twin States. I know Jerry Jarrett is very excited for that match up and I think it will be a tremendous encounter as well. Now, here we go, please welcome out the USWA Champion, Jerry "The King" Lawler. Thundering ovation as Lawler comes out wearing a nice T-Shirt with the title on his shoulder. Lance: King, you saw the Terry Funk footage and I think the man's lost his mind. Lawler: I've said this before and I'll say it again. Funk is real tough slamming his own head against the cage and beating up poor young rookies. I would like to see him do that to me. Terry Funk, you and I have fought wars in the ring and I think it comes down to this. It kills you that when it's all said and done I have always come out on top. Wrestlestorm will be no different. I can get just as crazy in a cage. I was in there at last year's Wrestlestorm and I'm looking forward to doing it again. And just like last year, my hand is getting raised along with this title. Terry Funk, you don't have a chance in hell of beating me! Cheers as Lawler holds up his title and walks out. Lance: It all goes down at WrestleStorm. Fans, this Thanksgiving will be the big tag team tournament and then I'll see you next week for our WrestleStorm special preview show. We'll find out the winners of the tournament and I'll get Jerry Lawler's final thoughts on Wrestlestorm. See you soon. Thanksgiving is going to be one awesome night of Supercards! Pacific has just added in a stacked one. Steamboat and Gilbert have put on some classics so it's only fitting they go out with a no time limit match. Texas Red has had a firm grip on the TV title. Will Cowboy Bob finally be the one to dethrone him? Badd Co. and The Dog Pound have been going at it on the undercards and a street fight on a supercard shows me that the bookers have been impressed. I'll be watching Smothers in that 6 man tag. Like Kev said, the Hart Foundation vs. Kabuki/Muta is the type of match that could steal the show. The fans in San Diego are in for a wild night of action!
-
Ok with me.

Oh man Gene, you're on a roll! You know it's going to be a great show when it kicks off with a battle royal for a shot at the Gulf Coast Title. The Texas Ranger really stood out. In the end, Kamala gets the shot. Things take a crazy turn as Mr. Money buys the title shot! This is some great TV! YES!!! The Fabulous Blondes have arrived! Johnny V, the Blondes and Eric Embry...The Platinum Club! This is going to be hilarious stuff. Sawyers vs. Dynamite Duo is a loser leaves town dog collar match! Yea I'm buying a ticket for Thanksgiving Thunder. Nightmares make it known they're still around and want a title shot. Olympia vows to be a fighting champ. He's got some upcoming fights with some bad monsters. Common enemies make for some strange alliances. Does it get stranger than Jimmy Jam and Mulligan? LOL. Big TV match next week with Fuller and Golden. HAHAHAHAHA! I love Bullet Bob, but I have to say, Fergie with this gimmick and now the Gulf Coast title is freakn priceless! Fergie's segments are going to be so awesome. All that and this adds even more heat to the Kamala/Bullet feud. You struck gold with Mr. Money. Fergie might get a bottle of champagne sent to him LOL. I can't wait until the USWA champ comes to town. So many top contenders in Twin States.

USWA @ The Cook Convention Center 11-14-85 The Bruise Brothers vs. Two Local Talents Cash hits a jumping headbutt and Snowman follows with a running powerslam for the win. Sweet Brown Sugar vs. David Sammartino (No Arnold Skaaland) Sammartino works Sugar over for awhile then clamps on a bearhug. Sugar claps the ears to escape and mounts a comeback. Sammartino regains control, swings Sugar to the ropes but misses a clothesline and Sugar comes back with a flying body press 1..2..3! The Red Dragons vs. The Magnificent Ones Another back and forth match between these feuding teams. Tempers flare and chaos ensues which leads to a DOUBLE DQ. Moose Morowski vs. Mr. Pro w/The Vin Man Hard hitting match as these guys just club away at each other. Morowski has Pro up for a suplex but Vinnie reaches in and trips Morowski. Pro lands on top 1..2..3! While Pro and Vinnie are celebrating, Morowski nails Pro from behind then grabs Vinnie and a punch sends him through the ropes. The Technicians vs. The Super Samoans w/Leilani Kai Samoans control a majority of the match. They hammer away on Fleming in the corner. Sakalia holds Fleming while Tui jumps off the top rope with a double axehandle but Fleming moves and Tui nails Sakalia. Fleming dropkicks Tui then dives over and tags in Rheingans. Rheingans grabs Sakalia and hits a German Suplex 1..2..3! Kai is visible upset. Sunny War Cloud vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers Once Sunny saw Flowers dancing up the aisle wearing his headdress the fight was on! After knocking Flowers down, Sunny retrieved his headdress. Sunny looks it over and the fans cheer as he puts it on. WHAM! Flowers hits Sunny from behind with a chair! Flowers snatches the headdress and goes to the back. NO CONTEST. The RPMS and "The Wrecking Ball" DJ Peterson vs. Central States Champ Dream Machine, "Champagne" Gerry Morrow and "The Surge" Scott Doring These guys give the fans a solid 30 minute bout. All 6 men end up fighting. Morrow and DJ fight through the ropes and around the ring. The Ref turns his attention to the outside. Doring and Lane are fighting in the corner. Davis back drops Dream Machine then goes to help his partner. Dream pulls out a foreign object and puts it in his mask then runs over and headbutts Davis from behind, then rolls him up as the Ref turns around 1..2..3! USWA Title Bout Jerry "The King" Lawler (C) vs. "The Master of Disaster" Duke Myers Lawler is pumped up and on fire during the opening moments. Myers changes things with a lowblow. Myers controls with some heeling. Choking, eye gouges and lots of closed fists. Myers slams Lawler then goes to the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop 1..2..Kick out. The two men have an exchange. Lawler comes back with his Memphis punches and the strap goes down. Lawler pounds away on Myers, swings him into the corner and charges in but Myers raises his boot and Lawler meets it head on. While the Ref is checking on Lawler, Myers adjusts the black sleeve on his arm. Myers swings Lawler to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Lawler swings back and punches Myers down. Lawler vertical suplexes Myers and follows with a jumping knee drop. Lawler goes to the middle ropes and crashes down with the diving fist drop 1..2..3! Lawler retains!

Things kick off with a bang as Adias gets a big win over Smirnoff to advance in the TV title tournament. I've always been a big fan of the TV title and I'm glad to see it in Texas. Always adds excitement. LOL! I liked Akbar's spin on what went down between Spoiler and Casey. After hearing this he might have a point with the Board. Looks like we've seen the beginning of a hard hitting feud between Spoiler and Mr. Ebony. The classic wrestlers bumping into each other is always a good start. Hollywood John Tatum gets the debut of a lifetime! Big things are coming his way and I'm sure Dark Journey is going to help with that. This gimmick is heel gold in Texas. Awesome main event! El Jefe cracks me up right off the bat with his thrust at Sunshine. Action packed all the way through. During the Ref bump I actually thought Jefe was going to win the title. Cocoa puts a stop to that but while he's got Jefe occupied, Dory Funk does some real damage to Casey. But wait! There's more as Gunslinger Johnny Mantell returns to save his partner! This match was so well done and kept me on the edge of my seat. Texas chaos at its best. I think the Gunslingers momentum from this carried them to that big win over Karachi Vice LOL. After what happened to Casey no wonder they wanted to end things quick with Karachi Vice. Great stuff Bleh!

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 11-13-85 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA here on the USA Network. Huge show lined up. The main event will be the USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice taking on a team from Texas All-Star Wrestling. Also Chris Markoff will clash with Siva Afi. Leilani Kai's stable will be in 6 Man action. Tommy and Johnny Rich will be in the ring. Terry Funk will bring us another special segment. And I'll be talking with the USWA Champ Jerry Lawler. All that and so much more. Right now please welcome out the USWA owner, Jerry Jarrett. Jerry, I understand you have some big news regarding WrestleStorm 2. Jarrett: Thank you Lance and yes I do. With our proud partnership with Twin States and Texas All-Star as an affiliate, the USWA is really thriving right now. Later you will see an outstanding team from Texas take on the USWA champs. I'm not going to let the cat out of the bag but trust me fans you wont want to miss that match up. Now as far as Wrestlestorm goes, I'm pleased to announce that on that night you will see the Twin States tag team champs Bill Dundee and George Barnes known as the Violent Gentlemen defend their titles against Brad Armstrong and Wendell Cooley. Lance, I've recently watched these teams go at it and I can assure you it's going to be a wild one. Also, I will rundown the entire Wrestlestorm card at the end of tonight's show. Lance: Big news indeed. If you fans remember, Bill Dundee was involved in last year's Wrestlestorm main event. Should be an outstanding match up as Twin States will certainly be represented well at Wrestlestorm. Let's go to the ring. The Technicians (Brad Rheingans and Mark Fleming) vs. Neil Coats and Sal Ramsey Technicians have a good tune up match as they prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving Tag Team Tournament. Technicians swing Coats to the ropes and double hip toss him over. Fleming hits a Northern Lights Suplex and it's all over. Lance: Big win for the Technicians. They will be one of the 8 teams involved in the Thanksgiving Tournament where the winners will wrestle The Elite at Wrestlestorm for the Central States Tag Team Titles. With the tag team competition at an all time high, I'm happy to see those titles coming.... Boos as Goldie Rogers comes to the podium. Goldie: Listen up Jack! For the past few weeks all I've heard is a bunch of losers talking about winning the tournament and then the Central States Titles. None of those teams will get the job done because let me introduce to you the future Central States tag team champs, I'm talking about Doug Vines and Jeff Sword, the Devil's Duo! The fans are in awe as the Duo rides out on Harleys and circles the ring. Both men have long hair and beards and are in full biker gear. Goldie: Get ready Jack! Commercial Break "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Sam Smith The fans are up and cheering as Bassarab sends Smith up and over with a big back body drop. Bassarab body slams Smith, then goes to the top ropes and crashes down with a flying leg drop for the pin! Bassarab pumps his fists then heads to the podium. Lance asks him about his upcoming match with Scott Doring at Wrestlestorm. Bassarab: Lance, I've been really finding my groove lately and I'm ready to show the world at Wrestlestorm what I'm capable of. Scott Doring has been mowing over the competition and will be a tough opponent but I'm going to carry my momentum and I'm coming to win! Commercial Break "The Real Deal" Ripper Morgan and The Super Samoans w/Leilani Kai vs. Carl Kellerman, Harold Banister and Quinton Stalls Devastating squash! Sakalia vertical suplexes Stalls and Tui follows with a flying elbow drop off the top rope for the pin! Bannister comes in but Morgan sends him over the top rope with a big boot. Kellerman tries his luck but Morgan swings him to the ropes and puts him down with a big boot! Kai gives Morgan his chain and Morgan starts choking Kellerman with it. The Samoans hurl Stalls over the top rope. The fans go crazy when HERCULES AYALA hits the ring swinging his chain! The Samoans get out of there in a hurry. Ayala nails Morgan with his chain! Morgan's chain fly's out of the ring. Ayala swings Morgan to the ropes and puts him down with a chain thrust! Morgan rolls out of the ring as Kai tends to him. Morgan staggers up and starts to stagger towards the ring but Kai hooks the chain around his neck and yanks him back. Ayala is in the ring swinging his chain as the fans cheer. Commercial Break Lance: Wow! Fans, at Wrestlestorm I'm not sure if Hercules Ayala or Ripper Morgan will ever be the same after their chain match. Another match that might have serious consequences will be the Caribbean Death Match between Carlos Colon and Tiger Jeet Singh. Let's here from both men in some very unique surroundings. Tiger Jeet Singh is standing in Desert holding his sword. Singh: It is 120 degrees out here and I love it! This is sanctuary to me. Carlos Colon! You can't handle and withstand what I can! Singh swings his sword and cuts a cacti in half. Singh grabs a piece of cacti and slowly cuts his cheek. Singh wipes his cheek and puts his bloody hand up. Singh: I'm going to make you bleed Colon! Carlos Colon is standing in the middle of a ring of fire. Colon: Singh, we have hurt each other bad and you and I know there is only one way this ends. I've never been more sure of this inevitable outcome. At WrestleStorm I will walk away but you will not! Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as The Elite put Bulldog Bob Brown out of commission. "True Grit" Mike George vs. Todd Rooney George is aggressive tonight. George atomic drops Rooney into the turnbuckles then grabs him and hits a Russian Leg Sweep for the pin. Lance: Mike, I'm really sorry about what happened to your mentor Bob Brown. How's he doing and what does this do to your mind frame in regards to your WrestleStorm match with Greg Gagne? George: Lance, I'm going to try hard to stay calm but it's going to be tough. Gagne! You and your band of cowards crossed the line. I talked with Bob and although he wont be in my corner he gave me the only thing he had left to give me. He gave me his name. That's right! Bulldog Mike George is coming after you and at WrestleStorm you're going down! Oh and Arnold Skaaland, I know for a fact your goons will not get involved because Jerry Jarrett talked with me and he's allowed me to have two wrestlers watch my back during the match. Oh and just wait until you see who they are. So come on Gagne! Let's just see how tough you really are. Lance: Ok, Bulldog Mike George is ready and he's bringing back up. I wish I could see Skaaland's face right now. Commercial Break "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. "The Russian Brute" Chris Markoff Markoff attacks at the bell and clubs away on Siva. Siva fights back and a jumping headbutt sends Markoff through the ropes. Siva is pumping his fists but WHAM! He's nailed from behind by DUKE MYERS! Duke hammers away on Siva. Markoff gets back in the ring and it's 2 on 1! But wait here comes CORPORAL KIRCHNER! The fans go wild as Kirchner unloads on Markoff! Myers tries to get involved but Siva gets up and nails him from behind. All 4 men fight to the commercial. Commercial Break Footage is show from last week as Dick Slater returns and slams Dream Machine's head through the Beauty Shop sign. The camera zooms in on the new pink Beauty Shop sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everyone and welcome to the most watched segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Before I get to my guest and yes he can wait. I want to announce that my guests for my special WrestleStorm Beauty Shop will be none other than the Grapplers. That will be a must see. Now I'm not thrilled about my guest tonight because he's the one responsible for what happened to my sign last week. Anyways, my guest is Dick Slater. Huge roar as Slater comes out. Britton: I don't know what these people see in you. Moving on, at Wrestlestorm, you're going to face the greatest Central States Champion of all time, Dr. Dream Machine. To be perfectly honest, I don't think you have a chance at winning the title. Slater: That's your opinion Brenda and you're entitled to it but I've got a scoop for you. At WrestleStorm I'm going to beat that mask off Dream's head and then I'm going to take that title off him! That's not a prediction but that's a cold hard fact! WHAM!!! Brenda runs away as Dream Machine clotheslines Slater from behind! Dream stomps on Slater, picks him up and body slams him down. Dream clamps on the Sleeper and Slater is out. Dream grabs a can and pours molasses all over Slater. Dream grabs a bag and proceeds to dump feathers all over Slater. Thundering boos as Dream grabs the mic. Dream: Look at him! Chicken Dicky Boy Slater! You hear me! Yea, he's nothing but a gutless chicken! You're nothing Slater! Nothing but a chicken! Dream hands Brenda the mic on his way out. Brenda: I....I...toooooodles. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, we've seen a lot tonight but I'm truly sickened by what just happened. Dick Slater was helped out of there and all I can say is I wouldn't want to be Dream Machine come WrestleStorm. Let's go to the ring, oh wait what's that? Fans, I've been told that next week Gerry Morrow has requested a meeting with DJ Peterson in regards to their upcoming match at WrestleStorm. I'm sure that will be interesting. "The Surge" Scott Doring vs. Ray Glader Doring swings Glader to the corner and follows with a charging shoulder thrust. Doring hits several thrusts then swings Glader to the ropes and powerslams him over for the pin! Lance: Ok, I believe I'm finally going to get a word with Scott Doring. On the way to the podium, Doring rips a sign away from a fan. Lance: Scott, you have been destroying the competition here and at WrestleStorm you have a tough task ahead with Ben Bassarab. Doring holds up the sign in front of the camera that says "Bassarab #1" Doring tears the sign up then storms off. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I'm going to take you to another Terry Funk segment but I must warn you it gets pretty violent. Once again Funk is in an empty arena standing inside a steel cage. A wrestler walks towards the cage. By the look on his face I'm sure he would rather be anywhere else than here. Funk: Come in here Son. Don't worry this is just an exhibition. You were already paid so everything's fine. I just want to talk. Come on. Don't be scared. The man with obvious second thoughts slowly enters the cage. Funk: That ah boy. Funk gently puts his hand on the man's shoulder then kicks him low! Funk stomps away then picks him up and slams him head first into the cage! Funk grinds the man's face against the cage. Funk just starts hitting the man's eye! Funk: Eye for an eye Lawler! Eye for an eye! Say I quit! say it! The man is barley able to say I quit. Funk: You gutless pig! Funk picks up the man and piledrives him down! Funk: Lawler! Lawler! Lawler! Lawler! Lawler! Fades black. Commercial Break Lance: (Shaking his head) Fans, I do believe Terry Funk has lost his mind. At WrestleStorm inside the steel cage for the USWA title it will be Funk challenging this man, the USWA champ Jerry The King Lawler. Huge eruption as Lawler comes out. Lance: Jerry, what is going through your mind after what we just saw? Lawler: Lance, Terry Funk is really tough when it comes to beating up poor young guys like that. Does he really think he's going to do that to me? Funk! You don't intimidate me whatsoever. This isn't my first cage match brother and to tell you the truth I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to beating you up and shutting that big mouth of yours. Where better than Memphis? This is going to be a fight and the better man is going to come out on top and that man is me! It's time Terry, it's time to put you down and out to pasture. Lance: It all goes down at WrestleStorm. Commercial Break Tommy "Wildfire" Rich and "The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Johnny tags in Tommy. Johnny swings Dutro to the ropes and Tommy hits the Thesz Press for the pin. The fans boo as the Rich's smile and antagonize them. Boos turns to a roaring cheer as MATT BORNE and RIP OLIVER hit the ring with axe handles! They clothesline Tommy over the top rope with their axe handles. Rip hits Johnny in the gut with his axe handle then Matt nails Johnny on the back with his axe handle! Johnny rolls out of the ring and falls to the ground. Tommy is still laid out. The fans cheer as Oliver and Borne hold up their axe handles. Lance: This has been one crazy show. Oliver and Borne sure got some payback from last week. Those 4 will meet in a tornado street fight at WrestleStorm. My goodness we'll be right back. Commercial Break Mr. Pro w/ The Vin Man vs. William Hillman Vinnie is all smiles as Mr. Pro takes Hillman apart. Mr. Pro executes a back suplex and gets the pin. Lance: Impressive win for Mr. Pro. I know Moose Morowski still has issues with them. Switching gears, at WrestleStorm, Tony St. Clair will defend the TV title against Sweet Brown Sugar. My guests right now are Tony St. Clair along with Les Thornton. Les: That's Tony Simply the Best St. Clair to you. He's more than earned that name. Lance: Ok, now Les you hand picked Sweet Brown Sugar for this title defense. Recently Sugar scored a pin on the champ in a recent tag team match. Are you having second thoughts? Les: Oh Lance, you're kidding me right? Mr. Sugar scored a fluke pin during a tag match. That's completely different than doing that in a TV title match. There was a lot of confusion and chaos and quite frankly Mr. Sugar got lucky. He will not do that at WrestleStorm. On the USWA's grandest stage, Tony St. Clair will show why he's the greatest champion in wrestling today. He will simply outwrestle, outclass and soundly defeat Sweet Brown Sugar. This will be a tremendous victory. Tony: (smiles and taps his TV title) Once again Les, I concur. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, it's now time for our big main event. Karachi Vice is in the ring holding up their titles. They look over at Lance and ask where their so called Texas opponents are. Lance: Well here they come! I don't believe it! It's the Texas State Champ Scott Casey and Johnny Mantell, The Gunslingers! The fans here are familiar with them because they're up and cheering. USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice vs. The Gunslingers Karachi Vice is so busy arguing with the Ref that they don't hear the bell ring. Gama and Makhan are sandwiching the Ref and saying they don't like this. The Ref backs out and tells them they have to wrestle. Karachi Vice turn around and the Gunslingers are all over them! Casey hammers Makhan into the corner while Johnny pounds Gama into the opposite corner. They signal each other and swing Karachi Vice into each other. Gama and Makhan hit each other and stumble back. The Gunslingers drop kick them back into each other. Gama and Makhan fly back and stagger to their knees. Casey uses Makhan's back as a springboard and nails Gama with a flying bulldog 1..2..3!!!!!!! The fans go freakn nuts as they jump up and down! Lance: Oh my how about that! The Gunslingers have just defeated the USWA tag team champions. I have to get a word with these guys. Gunslingers come on over here. The Gunslingers are elated, They hug and high five each other. Lance: You boys did it. You now get a USWA tag team title match at WrestleStorm. How do you feel? Casey: Unbelievable Lance! I couldn't have a better partner than Johnny and we're looking forward to that golden opportunity at Wrestlestorm! Boos as Karachi Vice come over still reeling from what just happened. Gama: That was a sham! What a disgrace! You deserve nothing! Makhan: Yea big men, jump us from behind! Cheaters! Lance: Wait a minute, the bell rang and you guys wanted to argue. Bottom line is the Gunslingers have earned the title match and you must defend against them. Gama: This isn't over! Makhan, let's go! Lance: What a way to end the show. Gunslingers, congratulations and you bet I'll see you at WrestleStorm. Gunslingers give the fans a thumbs up to end the show. After a busy week at work combined with the draft, I'm finally able to get caught up. I liked how Steiner got the pin on Tanaka but at the following house show, Tanaka was ready for it and this time he got the pin. Great storytelling. I wonder what's going on with Smothers? I would say Cameron is back on track after that impressive win over Buddy Jack. Haynes and Rose are walking out with the titles but Cabin Fever isn't making it easy. Orton is making a serious comeback since his title loss. After a big title loss it's sometimes hard to keep the guy's heat but you have mastered this. Orton and Gordy are perfect examples. Move of the night has to be Busick hitting the spinebuster on Nord, outside the ring! Perez gets a big clean win over Hito. These have been some good competitive matches for the CA title. Steamboat had some tough challenges this week. Taylor gives him a fight and then he battles Gilbert to a classic 60 min draw. Your LA cards always gives us an epic Pacific Title bout. Busick and Bigelow were really in sync this week until that sneaky Jake caused Bigelow to think Busick left him hanging. I hope Bigelow finds out what really happened. Waylon looked pretty devastating with that win over Sommers. Adams has been picking up a lot of wins with his superkick. YES! My guys the Pacific Warlords finally got their title shot! Rose and Haynes retain but I was happy to see the Warlords get a shot LOL. Heel Guerreros continue to be one of my favorite trios. Yea, I would call the Brigade's win over the Freebirds a bit of an upset. I think the Brigade is going to have to walk down Bad Street again.

USWS will pick up the Cobra and Shunji Takano. USWA will now withdraw from the draft.

USWA @ The Rupp Arena 11-7-85 The Technicians vs. Two Local Talents Rheingans hits a gut wrench suplex and Fleming follows with a Northern Lights Suplex for the win. Moose Morowski vs. Mr. Pro w/The Vin Man Morowski gave Vinnie quite a beating a couple weeks ago. Nick Kiniski offered Vinnie a solution and that solution is his brother Kelly now known as Mr. Pro. Nothing pretty but these two big guys take it to each other. Vinnie hops on the apron to distract Moose which allows Mr. Pro to nail Moose from behind and hit a back suplex for the win. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers vs. Sunny War Cloud These guys continue their heated feud and just tear into each other. Sunny sends Flowers through the ropes with a big chop. Flowers staggers up, gets Sunny's headdress and runs out of there. Sunny gets the c.o. win but the fans see the rage in his eyes as he's yet to get his headdress back. The Red Dragons vs. The Magnificent Ones Another hot back and forth match between these current rivals. Red Dragons are in control until Vinnie Valentino comes to ringside and ends up tripping Fuchi. Fuchi stumbles into a cradle by Kevin Kelly 1..2..3. Vinnie starts to strut back up the aisle but Moose Morowski comes running down the aisle and levels him with a clothesline. Mr. Pro comes out and him and Moose exchange punches while the Red Dragons and Magnificent Ones start back up inside the ring. "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. "The Master of Disaster" Duke Myers Siva makes his return after being clotheslined by Myers and his arm cast. Myers no longer wears the cast but has a black sleeve on his arm. It's all Siva as he unloads on Myers. Siva sends Myers through the ropes with a diving headbutt. On the outside a dazed Myers reaches in his tights and puts a foreign object in his sleeve. Myers finally gets on the apron. Siva charges him but Myers nails him with the loaded arm. Myers goes through the ropes and drops down on Siva 1..2..3! Hercules Ayala and The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. "The Real Deal" Ripper Morgan and The Super Samoans w/Leilani Kai This one's a barn burner and both sides go all out. Of course chaos ensues and the Ref takes a bump. Kai throws Morgan his chain but Ayala had already grabbed his. Morgan turns around and Ayala clotheslines him over the top rope with his chain. Ayala turns around and puts Tui down with his chain. The Ref rises as the RPMs double dropkick Sakalia while Ayala covers Tui 1..2..3! Corporal Kirchner vs. "The Russian Brute" Chris Markoff These guys have been battling all over the loop with most matches ending in Double DQ's or Double C.O.'s This one is a brawl and Kirchner is bleeding bad. Markoff swings Kirchner into the corner and charges in with a clothesline but Kirchner moves and rolls up Markoff 1..2..3! The celebration doesn't last long because Markoff clotheslines Kirchner from behind and puts the boots to him. Markoff gets the Russian Flag and hits Kirchner several times with it. The fans boo and throw trash as Markoff waves his flag over the fallen Kirchner. Central States Champ Dr. Dream Machine and TV Champ Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair w/Les Thornton vs. ""Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater and Sweet Brown Sugar This match gives the fans a bit of everything. Dream and Slater do the brawling. St. Clair puts on a technical showcase while Sugar does the high flying action. They give the fans a solid 45 minute match. Slater and Dream are brawling all over the outside. St. Clair is in control in the ring. He swings Sugar into the corner but Sugar hops on the turnbuckles and comes back with a flying press 1..2..3! Huge Pop! Slater and Dream continue to fight while Les Thornton looks up at Sugar with a concerned look.

Another exciting week in Twin States! Kamala continues to destroy everything in his path. Sawyers are still pretty pissed about losing to the Nightmares and have now targeted the Dynamite Duo. Twin States is really helping the USWA get to the national scale. I like the idea of doing TVs in different arenas each week. It's such a great idea, Jarrett might have to do the same for USWA TVs LOL. I also like that Jarrett is really making his presence known here. It shows he really believes in this. The Violent Gentlemen accept Cooley and Brad's challenge. They may think this sounds great but Cooley and Brad are pretty damn furious, so they're going to be hard to beat. Scott Armstrong is representing the USWA well. I need to bring him in for some title defenses asap. HAHAHAHAHA! Fergie wins the lottery! Oh man this was one of the best things I've read. Fergie has a new theme song, a new look, a bodyguard and butler. This is pure gold! I always liked writing for Fergie. There's just something about the guy that can pull off a gimmick like this. Genius idea Gene! I'm still sensing a lot of tension between Golden and Jimmy Jam. Looks like it's going to take a lot more bounty money to get the job done on Blackjack. Nothing like a good bounty angle. To the Farm Center, Once again, HAHAHA! Fergie opens up the show with some great stuff and gets the win with "The payoff", the prefect name for his new finisher. You just made Carl Fergie a can't miss segment. Youngblood's just can't seem to find their footing here. Scott with another solid title defense. Dynamite Duo get a huge win over the Sawyers but of course there was no way the Sawyers were going to just walk away. LOL, poor Johnny V suffers the consequences of Golden and Jimmy's issues. What a moment! I know the fans in the Farm Center blew the roof off the place when Bullet Bob took the mask off. The Bullet is back and he's bad to the bone! I figured Cooley and Armstrong would use their anger to their advantage and they did. They got to beat up the Violent Gentlemen and now get a title shot. The action and surprises continue as MR. OLYMPIA returns and takes down Stomper! Talk about sending the fans home happy...Huge moment! Olympia fits in so well here and deserves a run with the title. Awesome stuff Gene!

LOL, Frank Dusek knows how to spoil the Gold Dust Trio's moods. Glamour Boys get a crowd popping win over the Blondes. Glamour Boys have some series momentum as they head into a rematch with the Highwaymen. Halloween Spooktacular is in the books but Season's Beatings is upon us. Looking forward to who gets the big USWA title shot. Texas Ranger is on the right track and might be a favorite to win the TV title. Big segment as Mike Miller explains his actions. Memo to self, never trust a guy with the "Mean" moniker. Brooks and Miller are going to wreak havoc in Texas...until Bart returns. But Bart better have back up. Dory is back in Texas and is already a serious threat. Casey proves to have the heart of a true champion as he stands up to Dory. We got a real Texas showdown coming. Busy night for Casey as he gets in the face of El Jefe. Big time TV match for next week! I did laugh at Jefe's "Now he's a loser with one eye" comment. This guy is a heat magnet. Gaylord gets robbed as the Blondes help Victory get the tainted win to advance. OH man, Dusek has enough and fires the Blondes! I'm sad to see the Blondes go but man this was pretty hilarious. Texas just keeps on rolling. The USWA champs better be on high alert.

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 11-6-85 Footage from Johnson City is shown. Tiger Jeet Singh returns and sends Carlos Colon out on a stretcher! Ripper Morgan clotheslines Hercules Ayala with his chain. Sunny War Cloud gets his headdress back but Timothy Flowers throws salt in his eyes and takes it back. Chris Markoff and Corporal Kirchner brawl to a double c.o. Video message from Carlos Colon Colon: (Laying on his couch, speaking with a whisper) I can't talk to loud because of what Singh did to me. I will make this short. Tiger Jeet Singh, I'm challenging you to a Caribbean Death match at Wrestlestorm. The rules are simple, the last man standing is the winner. Singh, I assure you, that will be me. Colon clenches his fist. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another extended edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. We're on the road to Wrestlestorm 2 and Jerry Jarrett will give us another update tonight. You just heard the big challenge from Carlos Colon. Will Tiger Jeet Singh accept? Big matches lined up as Gerry Morrow goes one on one with DJ Peterson. I'm sure DJ wants some payback after what Morrow did to him last week. Big main event as Tommy Rich takes on Rip Oliver. A lot of hatred there. I'll be speaking with the USWA tag champs Karachi Vice. USWA champ Jerry Lawler will be in action tonight. And we'll be going to an empty arena where Terry Funk is preparing for his upcoming title match with Lawler at Wrestlestorm. Well let's get right to the ring. Tiger Jeet Singh vs. Christopher Collins Fans in the front row run for cover as Singh comes out swinging his sword like a madman. Singh gets massive boos throughout the match as he just tortures his opponent. Singh finally puts Collins out of his misery with the camel clutch! Singh grabs his sword and rushes to the podium. Lance is nervously dodging the swings. Singh just snatches the mic and warns Lance with his sword. Lance backs away. Singh: If you want something done right, then you have to do it yourself! Colon! You escaped all the men who tried to collect my bounty but you failed to escape me! Everybody cries for you but nobody cried for me when you broke my leg! Blood for blood and I put you down! And now you make this ridiculous challenge. Of course I accept! I grew up in fights like this. Colon, you will not walk away from this match. I am going to finish you off once and for all. I am going to punish you and make you bleed and then you will beg for mercy but I will give you none! You're finished! For good! Singh throws the mic and swings his sword around. Commercial Break The Rock N Roll RPMS vs. Sam Smith and Willie Lopez RPMs control the match with quick tags and cohesive teamwork. They hit the Spandex Splits (back body drop/neckbreaker combo) and it's all over! RPMS cut a promo and say they've been on a roll in the USWA and intend on winning the Thanksgiving Tournament and then winning the Central States Tag Team titles at WrestleStorm! Commercial Break Lance: You just heard the RPMs talking about the open invitational Thanksgiving tournament that will take place at the Hammond Civic Center. The winners will face the Elite at Wrestlestorm for the Central States Tag Team Titles. On that note, please welcome out Porkchop Cash. Porkchop, great to see you. Cash: So great to be here Lance. Now, Porkchop Cash is look'n for some gold and I'm talk'n about the Central States tag team titles! I've been look'n for a partner and the search is over. Let me introduce you to Eddie Crawford but you can call him Snowman and you can call us the Bruise Brothers! Snowman: When Porkchop told me his plan, well he didn't have to ask twice. The Bruise Brothers are here and ready for action! Come on Porkchop, let's show em what we can do! The Bruise Brothers vs. Trent Watkins and Carl Kellerman The Bruise Brothers come to the ring wearing matching blue pants and sparkling blue vests. Each one is wearing a gold chain and man do they look cool. Great showcase and they're in sync tonight. Cash swings Watkins to the ropes and nails him with a cross body diving headbutt then tags in Snowman. Snowman hoists Watkins up on his shoulder, runs around the ring and powerslams him down for the decisive 3 count! Commercial Break "The Great" Greg Gagne w/Arnold Skaaland vs. Marcus Robins Gagne gets really annoyed with the fans as he gets booed throughout the match. Gagne swings Robins to the ropes and finishes him off with a high flying dropkick for the win. Skaaland wipes the sweat off Gagne's forehead with his towel as the fans continue to boo. Lance: I'm here with Bulldog Bob Brown. Bob, the man you just saw in the ring issued a challenge to your guy Mike George at Wrestlestorm. Some unfinished business there. Bob: First off, of course Mike accepts. Mike is taking this very seriously and is training as we speak. We'll be there and if Arnold tries anything.... Gagne and Skaaland come to the podium. Skaaland: Don't threaten me puppy dog. Mike George isn't training. He knew Greg would be here so he stayed home. You got something to say puppy dog? You're not so brave now are you? Skaaland pushes Bob. Bob runs forward and levels Skaaland! Skaaland fly's back and is down. Gagne attacks Bob. Bob tries to fight back but Bruce Hart and David Sammartino run out and it's 3 on 1. The Elite stomp Bob down then pick him up and triple slam him on the concrete! Hart and Sammartino pick Bob up and hold him while Gagne dropkicks him right there in front of the podium. Gagne slaps Bob and tells his cohorts to pick him up. They laugh and hold him up while Gagne dropkicks him down again! Gagne grabs Bob's head and grinds it on the concrete. Lance: Come on! That's enough. Gagne: I'll say when it's enough! Hart and Sammartino pick a lifeless Bob Brown up again and hold him. Gagne gets a chair and blasts it over Bob's head! Gagne tosses the chair. The Elite smile and give satisfaction nods to each other. They help Skaaland up and exit. Lance: That was deplorable. We need some help out here. Lance bends down to check on Bob. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. "The Wrecking Ball" DJ Peterson DJ (bandage on his head from last week's bottle smash) is all over Morrow! DJ punches away, swings Morrow to the ropes and puts him down with a clothesline. DJ stomps on Morrow, picks him up and slams him down. Picks him up again and slams him down then follows with a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Morrow tries to roll out of the ring but DJ grabs him and chokes him on the middle ropes. Morrow is hanging there as DJ swings back off the ropes and hits a body guillotine. DJ picks up Morrow, swings him to the corner and charges in but Morrow moves and DJ crashes into the turnbuckles. Morrow spends a lot of time clearing the cobwebs. Morrow grabs DJ in a front facelock and wrenches away then executes a falling DDT 1..2..DJ gets his shoulder up. Morrow hits a gutwrench suplex then follows with a backbreaker 1..2..Kick Out. Morrow picks up DJ and a jumping headbutt puts him down 1..2..Kick Out. A frustrated Morrow hurls DJ out of the ring. Commercial Break Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Clinton Stitch Sugar excites the fans with his action packed offense and finishes things off with a missile dropkick! Lance: Sweet Brown Sugar, come on over. Outstanding win tonight. Boos as Les Thornton strolls out. Lance: Alright, hold on, I don't want anymore trouble tonight. Les: There will be no trouble. I am here to offer Sweet Brown Sugar an opportunity of a lifetime. Lance, a few weeks ago you asked me why I was scouting certain matches. Well, I was looking for the right challenger for Tony St. Clair and his TV title. Not just any challenger but a challenger for Wrestlestorm. Mr. Sugar you impressed me the most and I would like to offer you a shot at the TV title on the biggest USWA platform, Wrestlestorm. Just picture this, Simply the Best versus Sweet Brown Sugar. That has money written all over it. Do you accept? Sugar: Mr. Thornton, this is everything I've been working for. I would be a fool to say no. Dang right, I accept! Big cheers Les: Splendid! This most certainly will be a tremendous victory for Tony St. Clair on the biggest stage no doubt. Sugar: Whoa Whoa Whoa! Hold on. I'm not just some guy to make Tony St. Clair look good. Trust me Mr. Thornton, I'm coming to win the TV title at Wrestlestorm. Les: (Laughs) I was right to handpick you. You keep up that fighting spirit my friend. Les pats Sugar on the shoulder and exits. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everyone and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Wrestlestorm 2 is coming and boy do I have a big time guest tonight. Please welcome out in my opinion, the greatest Central States Champion of all time, Dr. Dream Machine! Thundering boos as Dream comes out and holds up his title. He shows it to Brenda and she smiles while she touches it. Britton: It's such an honor to have a true champion, an educated man and class act on my show. Dream: Brenda babay, the pleasure is all mine girl. Britton: At Wrestlestorm, you will be defending the title against that dirty Dick Slater. Personally I don't think he deserves it. I mean is he even going to show? Dream: (Laughs) That's a fantastic question Brenda. The last time we met, I not only took this title away from Dicky Boy but I gave him such a beating nobody has heard from him since. I've been defending this title night after night while that coward has been hiding. He's running scared! He's shaking in his boots and to answer your question Brenda, there's no way in hell that chicken is going to show, The fans go wild as Dick Slater calmly walks out and stands behind Dream Machine. Brenda is in shock and is trying to tell Dream to turn around. Dream: I think I will declare myself the winner because that gutless Dicky Boy won't ever show his face here again. Slater taps Dream on the shoulder. Dream turns around and Slater decks him! Brenda screams and runs off. Slater jumps down and just pounds on Dream's face. Slater picks up Dream, runs with him and slams his head into the Beauty Shop sign! The sign breaks and Dream is laid out. Slater picks up the Central States title and holds it up while the fans go nuts! Brenda grabs the mic. "Tooooodles" Brenda throws the mic and runs away. Commercial Break Lance: How about that, Dick Slater is back and the Dream Machine just got a wake up call. Unbelievable. Ok, joining me now are the reigning USWA tag team champions. Karachi Vice. Well champs, I just got word that next week will be your non title match up with a team from Texas. Doesn't it worry you a bit that you don't know which team you will be facing? Makhan: Do we look worried? You see these titles four eyes? These titles say we're the best and there's no way a team from Texas of all places are going to come in here and beat the champs. (Hysterical laugh) No way! Gama: We said we didn't care who we faced from Texas and we don't! We've beaten all the top teams and now we're going to show the boys in Texas why we are the champions and best tag team in the world. Lance: Now, don't forget, you said if they beat you, they will get a title shot. Gama: Yes, as a matter of fact if they can pull off a miracle and defeat us, we will not only give them a title shot but they can have it at Wrestlestorm! However, Lance, you, Makhan and myself know that will never happen. We'll see you next week. Makhan: Next week will be nothing but a Karachi Vice exhibition! Lance: The champs are very confident. I'm looking forward to finding out who will represent Texas. Back to the ring. Moose Morowski vs. Cliff James Moose just mauls his opponent and actually finishes him off with a knock out punch for the win. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, right now I want to take you to an empty arena and what took place there with Terry Funk earlier this week. I must warn you it gets pretty graphic. Empty Arena Terry Funk is standing in a ring surrounded by a steel cage. He's holding a mic. Funk: Jackass Lawler. I want you to watch this very closely. This is just a taste of what's in store for you at Wrestlestorm. Bring him out! A man in generic wrestling gear nervously walks towards the cage. Funk: Don't worry son, this is just a little demonstration. Don't be afraid. Come in here. The man slowly walks in the cage. Funk: What's your name? The man gets ready to answer but Funk nails him with the mic! Funk: You Pig! Funk stomps on the man then picks him up and hurls him head first into the cage. The man is busted open. Funk picks him up and grinds his face into the cage. Funk grabs the man and smashes his head several times into the cage. Funk grabs the man, hoists him up and piledrives him down! Funk picks up the mic. Funk: Lawler! Lawler! That's you! Funk walks over and smashes his head several times against the cage. Funk: What are you going to do Lawler? What are you going to do when you're locked inside of a steel cage with me? Every second that goes by all I think about is what I'm going to do to you in this cage! (points up at his eye patch) Eye for an eye! Segment ends as Funk gives a deranged look into the camera. Commercial Break Lance: I'm sure Terry Funk has gone completely mad. Oh ok, looks like I have company. Vinnie Valentino (rolls his eyes) what a pleasure. Vinnie: Don't get wise and it's Vin Man to you. Not even you can sour my mood Lancey. Last week I was hang'n out with the Magnificent Ones. Oh by the way, those guys are going to win the Thanksgiving Tag team Tournament, I just know it. Now, Nick Kiniski thought he could help me out with the problem I have with that Neanderthal Moose Morowski. Nick is one awesome dude. His idea was brilliant. He set up a meeting and after talking with this man, all I can say is Moose Morowski's days are numbered. I have acquired the services of Nick's older brother Kelly Kiniski, a real pro. Matter of fact, you can call him Mr. Pro because the man is a consummate professional. So please welcome out Mr. Pro! Mr. Pro: Hey Moose, you like to punch people around? Let's you and I have a match and I'd like to see you punch me around! Vin: Moose is going to regret the day he sucker punched me. Commercial Break Tommy "Wildfire" Rich vs. "Crippler" Rip Oliver Lot's of hard hitting action as these guys just lay into each other for the first 5 minutes. Oliver gets the momentum as he puts Rich down with a back elbow smash. Oliver goes to the top rope and crashes down with a forearm drop but Rich moves. Rich regroups, grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Oliver. Rich snapmares Oliver over and gives him an elbow on top of the head. Rich swings Oliver to the ropes and hits a Thesz Press but Oliver holds him up, falls back and hotshots him on the top rope. Both men are down. Johnny Rich comes running out but Matt Borne is right behind him and tackles him down. Borne wails away on Johnny. Tommy rolls out of the ring and staggers towards Borne but Oliver jumps off the apron and nails Rich with a double axehandle. Oliver hurls Rich back in the ring. Johnny lowblows Borne then grabs Oliver's leg. Oliver stomps on Johnny. Oliver gets on the apron. Johnny jumps up and pushes Oliver through the ropes, then gets in the ring and the Rich's double team Oliver. The Ref calls for the DQ. The Rich's swing Oliver to the ropes and double clothesline him down. Borne still reeling, gets on the apron but the Rich's grab him and double suplex him back in the ring. Johnny goes out and gets a wooden chair. Tommy holds up Borne while Johnny comes off the top rope and shatters the chair over Borne's head! Oliver staggers up but Tommy grabs a piece of the chair and punches Oliver down with it. The fans boo as the Rich's stand tall over Borne and Oliver. Lance: My goodness things have gotten way out of control tonight. We'll be back. Commercial Break USWA Champ Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Vic Dutro The fans needed a reason to cheer and Lawler is defiantly the man to do it. Lawler is pumped up tonight as he slams Dutro down then hoists him up and hits a piledriver. Lawler goes to the middle ropes and crashes down with the flying fist drop 1..2..3! Big Pop! Lawler holds up his title and heads to the podium. Lance: King, you look to be in great shape. How's the neck? After what we saw earlier, are you ready for the diabolical Terry Funk in the cage? Lawler: Lance, the neck is close to 100% and even if it wasn't, nothing would stop me from getting my hands on Terry Funk in the cage. Last year at Wrestlestorm, I was successful in the cage and this year will be no different. Terry Funk! You and I have gone round and round and we both know there's only one way for this to end. December 5th, Mid South Coliseum, Wrestlestorm 2, you and I walk in that cage and I'm walking out with the title. I'm not coming to defeat you Terry Funk. No! I'm coming to beat you and beat you bad! This ends at Wrestlestorm! Lance: Fans, things are really heating up for Wrestlestorm 2. Jerry Jarrett is going to take us home with a Wrestlestorm update. Depending on how the draft works out, I was looking at picking up Jerry Grey.

I really like what's going on with your tag team division. A lot of intriguing storylines. HMMMM, I wonder what's going on with Smothers? The Hart Foundation vs. Muta and Kabuki could turn into an epic feud. Orton has been gaining a lot of momentum lately and has his boys focused on taking the titles. Looks like Texas Red finally put Tatum down for good. Hart Foundation win round one against Kabuki and Muta. Orton's momentum continues with a good win over Sommers. Rose and Haynes retain by DQ but Cabin Fever is coming after them hard. Absolute classic between Steamboat and Gilbert. They really gave the fans their money's worth and I think we're in for a lot more. Thanks to Jake, the Warlords rack up another win. Brutus has really hit his stride. I doubt Smothers tried taking the Freebirds down by himself. I did notice Armstrong took the fall. Busick gets some payback on Jake. I know Busick put all his power into that spinebuster. British Steel comes up short but are gaining a lot of respect by going toe to toe with the Guerreros.

LOL, hilarious opening with Platt and RPG bantering in Halloween costumes. Looks like Ash has a new weapon to try and win the Jr. title with. The Dynamite Duo is one charismatic team. The USWA is excited to send in the champs for some title defenses. We'll see if they make it out of Twin States with the titles intact Stomper has a strong grip on the title and let's everybody know that tonight. On to Helloween, Looks like Ash didn't get a chance to use his new hold as Armstrong puts him down with the superkick, I'll have to start building up some Jr. contenders. We have a new feud building as the Dynamite Duo, Strong and AOD go at it in a wild brawl. The Candyman is having some good runs in this game and had a fun one in Twin States but Bubba put an end to that tonight. I guess Jimmy Jam didn't forget about that comment Golden made about Precious. I mentioned this in my NWA comments, I think it's time for Jimmy and Precious to reconcile. It's obvious they need each other. I knew it just couldn't last LOL, as the Violent Gentlemen pull an ambush on Cooley and Brad. I can't wait to see these teams go at it again with some good ol fashion heat. Oh man! Kamala does a number on Bullet with 3 splashes! Damn! Bullet's one tough dude by refusing the stretcher. Kamala is an absolute beast. Awesome match to end the night! Nightmares give the fans a happy Halloween as they take the Sawyers down. The Nightmares were already up there but this win elevates them to an even higher level. As always, great stuff Gene!
