  1. Poor Nick Bockwinkle seems to be taking some abuse in his early days in Lutte. Getting attacked by a rookie now! Steve Strong might be in some trouble
  2. I say it each time I read a show from Lutte but it is so true. You have some of the best names in the business and they all seem to be in the right spot. Now we throw in Terry Funk and give him a belt for everyone to chase is great, I would love watch your tag teams battle it out from supremacy because you are also stacked there. There are still many names that I am not very familiar with in Lutte but you I am getting the hang of it and starting to find out who was big in Montreal and who wasn't.
  3. Nice card in the Boston Garden. Your main event on your TV show reminded me of the old WWF TV shows where they gave that one match where you hoped the mid-card babyface team would beat the Top heels aka every now and then SD Jones would pull that upset. You do a wonderful job of representing WWF 1985!
  4. I enjoy seeing your rookies rise to power as the AWA is in great hands moving forward. I also seem to like the fact that some of your biggest names are title-less. Watching Ricky Steamboat feud with your biggest heels and go after a title at the same time is a great read.
  5. THE MID-SOUTH COLISEUM MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE 2/28/1985: WTBS “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA Wrestling and MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE. We are coming to you live on WTBS from the world famous Mid-South Coliseum. I am Jim Ross along with Ernie Ladd. Welcome to the first major prime time event of the year! We have a jammed packed schedule so let’s get right to the ring for our first bout. MEMPHIS STREET FIGHT: The Memphis Bruise Brothers (Porkchop Cash & Dream Machine) VS The Tennessee Stud Stable (Tommy “Wildfire” Rich & “Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert) A nice 10 minute brawl here that has a lot of back and forth action. Eddie Gilbert was trapped in the wrong corner here for a few minutes but after making the tag, Wildfire came in like a house afire and went wild on both Cash and Dream Machine. Gilbert recovered enough to make this a chaotic scene with all four men in the ring. Gilbert and Cash spilled out on to the floor as Rich took off his cowboy boot and beat Dream pretty good. Rich followed this up with a Lou Thesz Press for the three count. __________________________________________________________________________ USWA WORLD TV TITLE MATCH: BILLY JACK HAYNES VS SHEIK HERCULES HERNANDEZ w SKANDAR AKBAR (If Haynes wins, he gets 5 minutes alone with Akbar) A typical power vs power match here as both men connected with some huge moves. It looked like it was over after Akbar got involved and tripped up Billy Jack. This gave the momentum back to Hercules who lifted Jack up into a backbreaker rack. Billy Jack almost submitted but was somehow able to wiggle out. As the war waged on, Jack got Hercules in his signature finisher, The Oregonian Full Nelson, and that was it as Hercules was forced to submit. Jim Ross announced that there will be a three minute break before Akbar must get in the ring alone with Billy Jack. All of a sudden two huge men with Arab headdresses rushed to the ring. Jim Ross was in shock. Jim Ross: Bah Gawd…. Its Ken Patera and Crusher Jerry Blackwell. What are they doing here? Blackwell and Patera really beat down Billy Jack two on one for the next three minutes before they are forced out of the ring. Akbar enters the ring for his 5 minutes alone with Billy Jack. Akbar just kicks and punches Haynes for the entire 5 minutes as he is completely out of it. After 5 minutes, Billy Jack is a mess and Akbar and his collection of Sheiks leave all giddy! __________________________________________________________________________ BOOTCAMP MATCH: Jimmy Snuka with Gary Hart vs Sgt. Slaughter A good old fashion brawl here with both men having their turns with the momentum. Sarge stomped a Mud Hole in Snuka with his combat boots and Snuka used his athleticism to connect with some leaping headbutts and cross body blocks. The action spilled outside the ring on a few occasions where nothing was safe including the ring bell. After Snuka rammed Sarge into the steel barricade, he did the unthinkable and climbed to top ropes and came leaping off with a Snuka Death Leap ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. Snuka lifted Sarge up by the hair and rolled him into the ring for the three count. __________________________________________________________________________ USWA World Tag Team Title Match The Perfect Alliance (Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton) with Baby Doll VS The Fabulous Ones in a Loser Leave Town Title Match A bit a chain match in the beginning here with lots of quick moves and tags on both sides. A few momentum changes and then we get the typical match where Stan Lane becomes trapped in the corner until making a daring escape. Keirn comes in like a house afire. A bit of Bonzo Gonzo follows with all 4 men in the ring. In the end, Anderson made a sneaky little tag to Eaton just before Keirn connected with a swinging neckbreaker. As Keirn covers Anderson, he thinks he is about to regain the World Title. Instead we get an Alabama Jam from Eaton onto the back of the head of Keirn. A quick drop kick by Eaton to Lane knocks Lane to the floor and Eaton scampers to cover Keirn. 1… 2… 3. Jim Ross: I can’t believe it. The Perfect Alliance has survived and are still the World Tag Team Champions. I don’t know what else to say but that the USWA will not be the same without the Fabulous Ones. Baby Doll gloats with the titles in here hands as the Fab Ones spend a few minutes thanking the fans of the USWA as they will now be forced to leave the USWA. _________________________________________________________________________ KERRY VON ERICH VS STAN HANSEN #1 CONTENDERS MATCH Unsure if this match could have been any better. Von Erich used his combination of speed and power to try and keep Hansen at bay but there is no way to keep Hansen off his game for an entire match. He is like a Bull in a china closet and just has moments when he is unstoppable. In the end, Kerry ducked under a Big Lariat from Hansen and came off the ropes and caught Hansen with a tornado punch for the surprisingly quick three count. Ernie Ladd is ranting about how that was the fastest count he has ever seen and Ross is all hyped up about how Kerry will now get the title shot he so deserves. __________________________________________________________________________ USWA WORLD 6 MAN TITLE Match: The Miracle Violence Committee (Gordy, Williams and Fernandez) VS The Monsters of the Midway (Yamamoto, Kamata and Mr. Pogo) A Barbed Wire Massacre Match Just a bloody brawl from beginning to end. As if the barbed wire wasn’t enough, there were weapons tangled inside the barbed wire for the wrestlers to use. In fact, Mr. Pogo nearly won the title as he clobbered Manny Fernandez with a bat that was wrapped it its own steel mesh covering. This match was so bloody that WTBS cut away for numerous commercial breaks and the end was actually shown by replay. With all 6 man engaged in what appeared to be Mortal Combat, Steve “Dr. Death” Williams took out Tojo Yamamoto with the Oklahoma Stampede and the Miracle Violence Committee retained their titles. This match was so violent and the Monsters of the Midway were so ruthless that even Ernie Ladd was glad it was over and hoped that this team returns to their native Japan. Just before we break away to commercial, Terry Gordy’s mouth drops and it appears that he has seen a ghost. The camera pans to the back were we see the back of the head of a blonde haired man heading behind the curtain. __________________________________________________________________________ USWA North American Title Match Sheik Hacksaw Butch Reed with Skandar Akbar VS Hacksaw Duggan Steel Cage Football Helmet Match This is an innovative match by Cowboy Watts in which it is a cage match but there is also a football helmet attached to a ten foot pole in one of the corners. Whoever gets that helmet first can use it as a weapon. Now these are two big guys just beating the Hell out of each. Both men used the cage to their advantage numerous times. Reed raked the face of Duggan across the mesh of the cage and Duggan vaulted Reed head first into it. Even with the violence, neither man is able to keep the other down long enough to climb up the pole to capture the football helmet. Reed finally connects with a big football tackle on Duggan and he now sees his chance to get to the football helmet. As Reed starts to climb the pole, Duggan is slowly getting up. Just as Reed gets the helmet, Duggan rises to his feet. He motions to the gate keeper to unlock the door. Reed rushes at Duggan and takes a mighty swing with the helmet. CRACK! Reed hits Duggan right across the temple and Hacksaw is busted wide open and he is out on his feet. As Duggan falls backwards towards the ropes, he crashes right through the open door of the cage and out onto the floor. Jim Ross: Bah Gawd, I can’t believe what I have just seen. Reed knocked Duggan out cold but right through the cage door. Hacksaw Duggan is the winner and NEW North American Title Holder! Reed is beside himself and goes out to the floor and cracks Duggan over and over again before spiking the football helmet and storming off. Akbar is beside himself but there is nothing he can do. __________________________________________________________________________ USWA World Title Match: TED DIBIASE VS THE AMERICAN DREAM DUSTY RHODES (If Dibiase wins, the American Dream will not receive another title shot this YEAR! Just as you would expect, Dibiase plays the frightened heel in the beginning and Rhodes gets off to a good start until Dibiase rakes the eyes. A nice 50/50 match ensues until Rhodes simply goes off and takes complete control. Rhodes connects with 3 or 4 Bionic Elbows but Dibiase kicks out at 2 ½ each time. As Rhodes picks up Dibiase, the champ shoves the American Dream into ref Pee Wee Anderson and Anderson goes through the ropes and hits the floor really hard. Rhodes just continues with the beating of Dibiase and it culminates in a nasty piledriver. Rhodes is on top of Dibiase which is obviously for more than a three count but with no ref, nothing happens. The crowd explodes as all of a sudden, the King of Memphis, Jerry Lawler rushes to the ring in a referee shirt and slides into the ring. Rhodes again covers Dibiase and Lawler begins the count. 1… 2… WHAM… Lawler has dropped an elbow across the head of the American Dream. Quickly, he scampers up to the middle rope and comes off with a fist drop. He picks up Rhodes and delivers his own Royal Piledriver. He then drags Dibiase on top of Rhodes and Lawler slips out the other side just as Pee Wee Anderson is back. 1… 2… 3. Jim Ross: Oh my God! What has Jerry Lawler done? I can’t believe what I have just seen. Ted Dibiase, with the help of Jerry Lawler, is still the USWA World Champion and the American Dream can’t receive another USWA World Heavyweight Title Match until 1986! So long from Memphis!
  6. Enjoyed catching up with the AWA. I like how you use your middle guys and the match I thought was best was the Henig-Roop match. You got a lot out of Roop there and it was cool to see him used as a real wrestler like he was in Georgia rather then the Miyah Singh thing in Florida.
  7. No problem at all. Remember this is for fun and do what you need to take care of first.
  8. Great first tag team festival and glad some USWA teams were able to compete. One trip to Japan and what has become of my Freebirds. This is going to be fun going forward to see what happens. Last year in Canada the Freebirds fell apart when Gordi won the tournament and that's when Garvin came in and now Hayes and Garvin having trouble coexisting.
  9. Great show as always. Loved the description of the Rock n Roll match.
  10. I enjoyed that your wonderful tag team division is being brought to the forefront of Lutte. You have a lot of great teams who were big in 1985 and you have created some others and I am looking forward as to who emerges as the Rougues #1 contenders,
  11. USWA is moving Igor Volkolf to the retirement list as he doesn't wrestle at all from 1895-1989 when he has 6 last matches. To repace him in the jobber pact, USWA will add King Cobra

  18. 2/23/1985: WTBS 9:05-10:05 Dallas, Texas “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from the Four States Arena in Texarkana, Arkansas. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd. All eyes are on Memphis, Tennessee and the Mid-South Coliseum where in just two weeks the USWA will present its first Super Card of the year. This is the full card. USWA World Title Match: Ted Dibiase vs Dusty Rhodes. If Dibiase wins, the American Dream will not receive another title shot this YEAR! USWA World Tag Team Title Match: The Perfect Alliance (Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton) with Baby Doll vs The Fabulous Ones in a Loser Leave Town Title Match USWA WORLD 6 MAN TITLE Match: The Miracle Violence Committee (Gordy, Williams and Fernandez) VS The Monsters of the Midway (Yamamoto, Kamata and Mr. Pogo) in A Barbed Wire Massacre Match. If one of the Monsters of the Midway loses, he will be forced to return to Japan to continue his career. USWA NORTH American Title Match: Sheik Hacksaw Butch Reed with Skandar Akbar vs Hacksaw Duggan in a Steel Cage Football Helmet Match USWA WORLD TV TITLE MATCH: BILLY JACK HAYNES VS SHEIK HERCULES HERNANDEZ with SKANDAR AKBAR BOOTCAMP MATCH: Jimmy Snuka with Gary Hart vs Sgt. Slaughter MEMPHIS STREET FIGHT: The Tennessee Stud Stable (Rich & Gilbert) vs The Memphis Bruise Brothers JIM ROSS: Wow, what an event that is going to be but let’s first hear from the World Champ! Ted Dibiase: Last night, Dusty Rhodes felt the power of the Rat Pack and its never ending resources. We left you a bloody mess. Abdullah the Butcher and his fork. Stan Hansen and his bull whip! Oh the pain you two must have felt. Get used to it! You and that loser Kerry Von Erich were left lying flat on your backs with blood all over your face. That is exactly what will happen if either of you show up in Memphis. MATCH: THE MIRACLE VIOLENECE COMMITTEE VS DAN SPIVEY, BIG BUBBA ROGERS & CHRIS BENOIT A nice showcase here for the 6 man champs even though the youngsters, who were a little stiff, were given a bit of shine. In the end, Terry Gordy hit a big power slam on Chris Benoit for the victory. The Violence Committee expressed a lot of concern for their Barbed Wire Massacre Match vs Tojo, Mr. Pogo and Tor Kamata. Concern for the health of the opponents that is. All three took turns smiling about the nastiness of this match and they couldn’t wait to get even for every sneak attack those Japs have ever done on American soil. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- The segment begins with some stern words from Fritz Von Erich who is getting sick and tired off the sneak attack tactics by Stan Hansen on his sons. This brings out Hansen who gives it to Fritz pretty straight by saying it was Fritz who cost him the USWA title the last time he was in town and until he is given another shot, he is going to take it out on his family. Fritz is fuming when all of a sudden Cowboy Bill Watts comes out and says he understands both sides here and beliefs he has a solution. Watts goes on to explain that if and only if, Stan Hansen behaves over the next week and doesn’t interfere in any matches in the USWA, he will face Kerry Von Erich in the Mid-South Coliseum with the winner becoming the new #1 contender for the USWA World Title. Hansen seems to be just fine with this but Von Erich just looks at his partner in disbelief. He puts up a bit of an argument almost breaking kayfabe here and wondering what in the world Watts is doing. He beliefs that Kerry should be the #1 contender no matter what after Memphis but Watts just says we will have to wait and see. Jim Ross and Ernie Ladd both hype up the fact that there seems to be some problems in paradise between Watts and Von Erich. MATCH: SGT. SLAUGHTER & FT. BRAGG BROTHERHOOD VS JIMMY SNUKA, THE GREAT KABUKI & ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER w/ GARY HART A wild brawl that leaves the fans in horror. While Slaughter held his own against Snuka, this turned into one of the most violent TV wrestling matches in a long time. Both Kernodle and Kirchner were beaten pretty badly here which left this pretty much a three on one attack on Sarge. He gave a good fight but in the end the numbers game got to him. Abdullah followed up a nasty thrust kick by Kabuki with a huge running elbow drop. This would have been enough but Snuka was tagged in and connected with three massive headbutts before climbing the top rope for a huge Superfly Death Leap for the cover. Gary Hart hit the interview desk with just a few simple words…. SGT. SLAUGHTER, WE HAVE ISSUED OUR LAST WARNING. DO NOT SHOW UP IN MEMPHIS! ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- KEVIN VON ERICH & ICEMAN PARSONS VS NORVELL AUSTIN & RON STARR Von Erich and Iceman are quickly becoming the most popular team in the USWA and tonight they had the crowd popping. They were just more skilled then their heel opponents who had a little offense but never really got going. This match also ended with a top rope leap. This time from Kevin Von Erich who followed up a Big Butt Bump on Rotten Ron Starr. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- USWA WORLD CHAMPION TED DIBIASE VS MIKE VON ERICH A typical beat down here where Mike Von Erich is just outclassed. The beating continues after a few big moves including two vertical suplexes. Each time it appeared the match was over and the ref was going to complete the 3 count, Dibiase pulled up his opponent and beat him some more. Jim Ross: Enough is enough. Will somebody stop the match? Dibiase is going to rot in Hell for what he is doing here tonight. Dibiase clamps on the Figure 4 and Von Erich is submitting but Dibiase keeps pouring on the pressure. Ross is concerned that Von Erichs leg is going to snap. Finally the crowd explodes as the American Dream hits the ring. Dibiase simple rolls out the other side and with a smug smirk on his face just laughs at Rhodes. Rhodes implores him to come back and fight but nothing doing. Dibiase is loving all the mind games he has played with Rhodes of late and simple heads to the locker room. Ross is hoping for sweet revenge for Rhodes at the Mid-South Coliseum while Ernie Ladd is ecstatic about the rough night the Von Erich family has had. Jim Ross: Sorry folks we are out of time. So long from Dallas, Texas. Don’t forget to join us next week from the Four States Arena in Texarkana, Arkansas.
  19. Again, just love the structure here in NJPW. Waiting to enjoy the end of the tag tournament and the Young Lions Cup
  20. 2/21/1985: WTBS 9:05-10:05 Baton Rouge, Louisiana “Hello again everybody. Welcome to USWA WRESTLING from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the Riverside Centroplex. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd. What a card we have for you tonight but first a rundown of the big show coming up this week in the great city of Memphis and the Mid-South Coliseum. This Thursday, Feb 28th, the USWA will host its first Supercard of the Year and it will all be live for you right here on WTBS. Matches already signed include USWA World Title Match: Ted Dibiase vs Dusty Rhodes. Pogo) in A Barbed Wire Massacre Match USWA NORTH American Title Match: Sheik Hacksaw Butch Reed with Skandar Akbar vs Hacksaw Duggan in a Steel Cage Football Helmet Match BOOTCAMP MATCH: Jimmy Snuka with Gary Hart vs Sgt. Slaughter MEMPHIS STREET FIGHT: The Memphis Bruise Brothers (Porkchop Cash & Dream Machine) vs The Tennessee Stud Stable (Tommy “Wildfire” Rich & “Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert. MATCH: THE FABULOUS ONES VS THE ASSASSINS A fun match here as the Fab Ones show that they are just more skilled and quicker than their heel opponents. The Assassins showed a little offense here but just got bogged down by the Fab Ones. The end came when Steve Keirn hit a Swinging Neckbreaker on Assassin #1. In a quick post-match interview, both Keirn and Lane were confident that they would beat the Perfect Alliance in their upcoming loser-leave-town title match and that they had no plans of leaving the USWA anytime soon. MATCH: MIKE VON ERICH VS BRETT WAYNE SAWYER A baby face vs baby face bout here where Mike got the best of Sawyer and caused a submission with the Iron Claw. As the fans cheered for Mike all Hell broke loose as Stan “The Man” Hansen rushed the ring and put a real beating on Mike. This included a devastating Lariat that nearly took Von Erich’s head of. This lead to a big “BAH GAWD” from Jim Ross as Ernie Ladd just seemed to be enjoying seeing another Von Erich get a beating from Hansen. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- BILLY JACK HAYNES & KEVIN VON ERICH & HACKSAW DUGGAN VS SHEIK HERCULES HERNANDEZ, THE IRON SHEIK & SHEIK HACKSAW BUTCH REED with SKANDAR AKBAR Another tag match that hyped up some of the major feuds and upcoming matches for the Mid-South Coliseum. The end came with a bit of a bonzo gonza chaotic scene as all 6 men were in the ring beating each other. As Sheik Hacksaw Reed had Billy Jack up and dropped him with a Gorilla Press Slam, Kevin Von Erich came off the top rope and caught Reed with a Top Rope Splash. As Reed struggled to get to his feet, Hacksaw Duggan caught him with a football tackle for the win. This did nothing to slow down the action as the brawled with each other right up to the commercial break. Jim Ross hyped up the fact that this is the second win a row for Duggan over Reed and maybe it is a sign of things to come and that Duggan just might be the next USWA North American Champion. Ernie Ladd laughed at this crazy idea. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MATCH: THE TENNESSEE STUD STABLE (TOMMY RICH & EDDIE GILBERT) VS THE RED ASSASSINS (FIDEL SIERRA & IGOR VOLKOLFF) The Red Assassins really get some heat on them after waving their countries flags and yelling at all the fans on their way to the ring. This really makes it easier for Rich & Gilbert to get some love and they don’t disappoint. The win came after Gilbert hit Sierra with a Hot Shot for the victory. Again, Rich and Gilbert go to the interview desk where they are all over the Memphis Bruise Brothers and wondering where those cowards disappeared to after they took a whoopin last night. All of a sudden, Porkchop Cash and Dream Machine Pearl Harbor Gilbert and Rich and give them a pretty good beating for a minute or two before break. With Gilbert and Rich laid out, Porkchop Cash grabs the microphone and asks what the fans think of their “Stud Stable” right now. He also goes on the challenge Rich and Gilbert to a Memphis Street Fight” at the event in the Mid-South Coliseum ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- Before the main event, Gilbert and Rich are joined by Kerry Von Erich and Dusty Rhodes at the interview desk. Gilbert and Rich are all “FIRED UP” and accept the Memphis Street fight with the Bruise Brothers. Kerry Von Erich is getting sick and tired of Stan Hansen while Dusty is jiving about how Dibiase has tried week in and week out to make sure he doesn’t show up in Memphis. Rhodes not only guarantees that he is going to show up but that he is going to walk away with the USWA WORLD TITLE for the 2nd time. MAIN EVENT: DUSTY RHODES & KERRY VON ERICH VS DIRTY DICK SLATER & ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER This is a violent brawl throughout as you would expect. Again, this match is used to hype up the fact that Ted Dibiase and his Rat Pack will do anything to make sure Rhodes doesn’t make it to the middle coliseum. When it appears the Babyfaces are on the forge of winning after Kerry connected with a Tornado Punch on Slater and then tagged in Rhodes who finished him off with a big Texas style Piledriver, the crowd erupted and we hear Jim Ross saying, “Bah Gawd, its Dibiase and Hansen.” These two hit the ring and along with Abdullah and his fork, they make a bloody mess of Rhodes and Kerry. It is so bad we see a big X across the screen as censored it. This is where the show ends as Jim Ross is really becoming worried that Rhodes won’t make it to Memphis and Ernie Ladd seems happy that he is unsure if Rhodes and Kerry will even make it to the locker room. Jim Ross: So long from Lafayette, Louisiana. Don’t forget to join us next week from Alexandria and the Rapides Parrish Coliseum.
  21. USWA would like Jerry Lawler and the Rock n Roll Express for 3/1,3/8,3/15,3,22 and 3/29.
  22. Sorry put the March dates in the wrong thread. Just Lawler for 2/28 would be great.
  23. USWA would like Jerry Lawler for 2/28, 3/1,3/8,3/15,3,22 and 3/29 and the RnR Express for 3/1,3/8,3/15, 3/22 and 3/29

Slaughter JIM ROSS: Wow, what an event that is going to be but let’s first hear from the World Champ! Ted Dibiase: Ok American Nightmare Dusty Rhodes! I am getting sick and tired of you getting in my way. Yesterday you found out how extensive my connections are after Abdullah the Butcher followed my orders and attacked you after your match with Dick Slater. You went to Cowboy Bill Watts are cried and complained about how you wanted a chance to get even. ARE YOU STUPID! Well you got what you asked for. Abdullah the Butcher will end your career tonight! You will be lucky to survive, never mind face me in the Mid-South Coliseum. MATCH: STEVE DR. DEATH WILLIAMS VS MR. POGO A violent match that ends when Mr. Pogo went outside the ring and grabbed a chair and brought it to the ring prompting ref Pee Wee Anderson to call for the bell. After a violent swing and miss by Pogo, Dr. Death came scooped up Mr. Pogo and connected with a big Oklahoma Stampede. Both Ernie Ladd and Jim Ross hyped up the fact that when the Miracle Violence Committee and the Monsters of the Midway meet for the 6 Man Titles, that chair will be legal along with other weapons that will be tied into the barbed wire. Dr. Death is joined by Terry Gordy and Manny Fernandez at the interview desk where they are fuming about the Monsters of the Midway! WHAM! Tor Kamata and Tojo Yamamoto hit the scene and are joined by Mr. Pogo. These two teams are all over the studio going at it. Finally order is restored when wrestlers and officials pour out from the back. ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- MATCH: JIMMY SNUKA & THE GREAT KABUKI with GARY HART VS THE FORT BRAGG BROTHERHOOD (PVT. DON KERNODLE & CPL. KIRCHNER) Snuka and Kabuki just beat the hell out the Brotherhood here. Pvt. Kernodle is busted open but that is only the beginning as Snuka climbs the top rope and adds in a Superfly Death Leap just for the hell of it. Snuka makes the pin but then he and Kabuki go after Cpl. Kirchner. Finally the crowd roars as Sgt. Slaughter rushes to the ring and takes care of both Snuka and Kabuki all by himself. Jim Ross hypes up the fact that this is the first time Slaughter has got the best of Snuka and that he can’t wait for the Mid-South Coliseum and the Bootcamp Match! When it is all over, Gary Hart and his team head to the interview desk where Gary Hart gives Sgt. Slaughter a stern warning to not interfere again in Snuka’s business or else he is going to get seriously hurt. He adds that he can only do so much to control the monster known as Jimmy Snuka and if Slaughter doesn’t get out of the way, Snuka is not only going to end his career but maybe get permanently injured. Before the commercial break we get a taped interview from none other than Stan “The Man” Hansen who laughs about how he attacked Kerry Von Erich last night. He says he is back in the USWA for one reason and one reason only…. To get even with Fritz Von Erich. Hansen goes on to blame Fritz for costing him the USWA title the last time he was in town. He goes on to say the best way to get even with Fritz is to take out his sons. VON ERICHS BEWARE! LAST NIGHT WAS KERRY! WE WILL JUST WAIT AND FIND OUT WHO IS NEXT! ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- The segment starts with the Memphis Bruise Brothers at the interview desk where both Porkchop Cash and The Dram Machine are heated about recent comments by Wildfire Tommy Rich and Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert. Porkchop Cash: “We heard those two dirty hicks from the sticks of Tennessee have been calling us out over the past two weeks claiming they are the best team from Tennessee. The only reason they were doing that is that they knew we were in Japan in the greatest tag team tournament around. One I must add that they were not invited to. Dream Machine: And now we are here and the two rednecks calling themselves the Tennessee Stud stable are nowhere to be found. They know if they were to show up we would pound them into the ground right here right now. The crowd erupts as Wildfire and Hot Stuff strut out and head right to the ring obviously accepting the challenge from the Bruise Brothers. The Bruise Brothers are caught between a rock and a hard place. If they walk away they will be the laughing stock of the USWA but do they dare get in the ring? Jim Ross: YES! The Bruise Brothers are headed to the ring and we have a huge unscheduled bout. IMPROPTU MATCH MATCH: THE MEMPHIS BRUISE BROTHERS (DREAM MACHINE & PORKCHOP CASH) VS THE TENNESSEE STUD STABLE TOMMY “WILDFIRE” RICH & “HOT STUFF” EDDIE GILBERT The action starts before the bell and is just a wild brawl from beginning to end. With Rich and Cash fighting on the outside of the ring, Gilbert blocked a big slam from Dream Machine and reversed it into a Hotshot for the victory! Jim Ross guarantees us that this is not the end of this one as this feud is getting white HOT! ------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMOS----------------- With Dusty Rhodes already in the ring Ted Dibiase, struts over to the interview desk and takes over. Ted Dibiase: “The MADMAN FROM THE SUDAN”, “MY HIRED ASSASSIN FOR THE EVENING,” ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER MATCH: THE AMERICAN DREAM DUSTY RHODES VS ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER Well everyone knows what the Butcher is all about and this is no different. Dusty does a good job of selling the attack here and the Butcher is going wild here. Fork and all, it is a monster attack which leaves Dusty a bloody mess. Abdullah goes for a running elbow drop but Rhodes slips out in the nick of time and now it is all Dream. The end comes when Dusty followed up a Bionic Elbow with a big Texas sized Piledriver. Just as the refs hand counted 3, Dibiase and Dick Slater hit the ring and went on the attack. Jim Ross was fuming as he was told earlier that Slater was not in the building.
