July 5th is going to be one of my favorite Bash stops! Pretty fun seeing the Jayhawks on opposite sides of the ring. Jaggers and Owen could turn out to be a great pairing in the long run. Gama vs. TNT is going to be a great match!

Wow..a bit of an upset with the Stud Stable going over in Dibiase/Fernandez! Great win for Fatu over Leduc! Love the pairing of Owen/Candido, nice to see Owen still stretching the rules here in Canada. Bruce Hart makes for a great challenger for the National championship. Huge Main Event for both shows here! -
What an amazing show!! Olympia had a great showing but came up short...this challenge is an awesome way to build up Bundy! Snuka vs. BJM has been a great feud...loved the bullrope match! Love Orndorff as champion, Harley had a great run with the title which made Mr. Wonderful's win mean even more, so many great potential title matches to come for Orndorff. I really love Rude and Fernandez alligning with Dibiase...perhaps they may make a trip to Texas soon trying to collect the bounty on Dusty.

World Class Championship Wrestling TV Recorded at the Sportatorium in Dallas, TX on 5/15 Airing on Friday 5/23 on WTVT throughout Texas And various outlets across the Southwest. Hosted by Bill Mercer and Bruce Prichard Ring Announcer/Interviewer: Marc Lowrance Mercer and Prichard open the show and announce that the JWA Middleweight Champion Tiger Mask will be at the David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions to defend against Tim Horner. Also coming in from Japan, Riki Choshu, Rusher Kimura, and Tatsutoshi Goto will challenge for the NWA World Six Man Tag Team Championships and also just signed the Fabulous Ones will challenge the Road Warriors for the NWA World Tag Team Championships. MATCH #1: The Onyx Express (Brickhouse Brown/Koko Ware) defeated The MEXecutioners (Uno/Dos) when Ware pinned Mexecutioner Uno after a top rope dropkick. Post Match: 'Iceman' King Parsons came down and questioned Ware and Brown why they still haven't gotten their North American tag team title shot they earned when they won a #1 Contender's match two weeks ago? Brown said that tomorrow night they will face the Dirty White Boys for a shot at Garvin/Embry at Parade of Champions. Parsons replied that this exactly what he's been trying to warn them about….while they were getting beat last week by a couple 'dirty white boys', the REAL dirty white boys, the Von Erichs were getting the title shot they earned…..Parsons told them it's time to "wake up" and realize they'll never get a fair shot in WCCW unless they learn to trust him then he turned and left….as Brown and Ware seemed as though they were at least considering what he just said this time. COMMERCIALS VTR: VOICEOVER "The Following is a paid advertisement from 'the Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase" (Cut to Ted Dibiase in a limo with the NWA United States Championship over his shoulder) Dibiase: "Hello Peons….I understand this isn't something you're used to seeing here on 'Low Class Championship Wrestling' but you are looking at a true champion…your United States Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, Ted Dibiase…..the Million Dollar Man. Now ordinarily I wouldn't lower myself to appear on such a program as this but I find myself needing to deliver a message to the hero of all you 9 to 5'ers out there in Texas, of course I'm talking about the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. I find it ironic that a self professed 'common man'…an admitted 'son of a plumber' would have the audacity to call himself the 'American Dream'? Let's get real for minute, who is really living the American dream right now? The fat common man….who lives like you people do? I don't think so….it's a man like me….a man of means, a man who flies first class, rides in limos, eats at 5 star restaurants, is seen with the most beautiful women in the world and can literally have ANYTHING I want….that is the 'American Dream' not some fat slob who is proud to be a common run of the mill loser like everyone else from the God forsaken state of Texas. A guy who associates himself with a slimeball like Jim Duggan. Dusty Rhodes, you made the mistake of your life when you came to the Mid Atlantic and stuck your fat nose in my business, you will pay the price and pay dearly. Now, being the world class athlete and champion I am, I'm not going to lower myself to come to Texas seeking revenge because that's beneath me. Nope, I'm putting it out there right now, I'm putting a bounty on Dusty Rhodes' head of $150,000 to anyone who can injure Dusty Rhodes to the point he can no longer wrestle….and I don't care who it is….It could be my friend Stan Hansen the only decent human being to come out of Texas, it could be Abdullah the Butcher, or Mike Jackson…..it makes no difference to me, get the job done and you'll reap the reward! Watch your back Dusty, because that's a lot of money, and you never know when or where someone may try to collect it!" (Trademark Dibiase laugh to close) MATCH #2: The Missing Link pinned Randy Watson after a 'running headbutt' (Marc Lowrance welcomes Dusty Rhodes to ringside) Marc: "Dusty, I want to get your thoughts on the comments we heard earlier from the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase." Dusty: "My thoughts…baby….my thoughts are this….Ted Dibiase is a coward…..Ted Dibiase is a disgrace to the United States title and to my sport of professional rasslin' you understand. Money don't make the man….make no mistake about it baby….while I am a common man….while I do relate to everyone in this Sportatorium here tonight….the Dream is a money maker….the Dream can travel first class with the best of 'em you understand…..the difference between you and I, Dibiase is that I understand that money don't make the man….I understand that no matter how much money I ever make….I'm still just like these fine people here in Dallas, baby. You talkin' about Stan Hansen if ya will, he's already signed on to face me tomorrow night in Ft. Worth….and if he wants to try and collect that money, we can get funky like a monkey right there in Ft Worth cause……" (Before Dusty can finish he's attacked out of nowhere by the Missing Link, Link rams Dusty's head into the ring post, and starts dropping head butts on him on the floor until security come to his aid. COMMERCIALS (Bruce Prichard is in the dressing room with TV Champion Steve Doll) Bruce: "Steve, I understand you're still pretty banged up from the recent beatings that Iceman Parsons has put on you, however you've still accepted his challenge to defend the title against him here tonight….isn't that a little…..I don't know….stupid?" Doll: "Bruce Prichard, you can call it stupid, you can call it whatever you want but there's only so much a man can take and I've taken all I can from King Parsons and tonight I'm going to show him that Steve Doll is no pushover." (Scott Hall enters) Hall: "Look Steve, I get where you're coming from and I know why you feel the need to have this match, but come on man….give it another week or two…..let yourself heal up and then have the match. You don't have to do this here tonight." Doll: "Scott, I appreciate your concern….but yes, I do need to do this tonight. So please, just stay out of it and let me do what I have to do." Hall: "Your call brother." (as he steps back, Doll leaves the dressing room) Prichard: "Idiot" (Hall shoves Prichard as he turns to leave) MATCH #3: WCCW TV Title "Iceman" King Parsons defeated Steve Doll when the referee declared him unable to continue after Scott Hall ran down and threw in the towel to avoid further injury, Parsons is once again WCCW Television Champion (We cut to the dressing room where Marc Lowrance is with a bloody Dusty Rhodes who is getting his head bandaged up) Dusty: (yelling) "Missing Link…..you wanna collect that bounty? You wanna jump on the Dream…..well bring yo green headed a** down to the ring tonight and I can promise you one thing…..you won't collect no bounty, but yo a** gonna get paid one way or another….come get you some!" COMMERCIALS MATCH #4: Junk Yard Dog pinned "Singing Cowboy" Don Bass with the "THUMP" slam Post Match: JYD takes the mic and says a few weeks back Kamala injured his ribs and he's been out of action but he's back and tomorrow night in Ft. Worth he's going to THUMP Kamala….and he'll THUMP Gary Hart and Friday too if he gets half a chance! Commercial airs for the David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions next Saturday at Texas Stadium, get your tickets now!!! So many great angles going on here. Loving the Dibiase promos! The Memorial Day card looks awesome!
-
This is the definition of a supercard, well done...so many angles coming to a head and paying off. Ron Fuller turning on Armstrong had to happen and this was the perfect time and place! Magnum makes for an awesome champion, great win over Murdoch. I like the Rock & Roll Express as National Champions...looking foward to bringing them to Texas. Great buildup among UWF/Lutte/JWA to build to the title change...great finish to put heat on Kolloff but save face for Martel. It will be interesting to see how Ole and Magnum figure into this in the long haul.

I love this storyline that gives you the ability to have Hogan/Flair interact but justifies putting off the rematch for a whatever amount of time you choose...good stuff!

Wow what a great series of shows! I love the angle with Adrian, I would never imagined Adonis could be a sympathetic character but you pulled it off! I love the Nightmares showing up to feud with the Bees, they could very well pull off some "masked confusion" of their own if need be. Huge win for Tonga followed up by a huge win for my boy Kevin Von Erich, we'll be showing that footage on WCCW for sure! -
I love it, Owen does what he has to do to get the win over his brother. TNT is becoming a top star here, I look forward to seeing him compete for some of the top NWA titles soon! Bam Bam Bigelow with a huge win over his former partner, the match with Hercules Ayala should be a big draw for an already awesome card.

Damn so sorry to hear that bud, hope you feel better soon!

***World Class Championship Wrestling News*** Lots of changes have taken place since Dusty Rhodes has officially taken over booking WCCW. One of the first things is he has at least for now discontinued the Tuesday night Wild West Wrestling shows. These were set up by Eddie Gilbert and was his "baby", Gary Hart had taken over booking these shows since Gilbert got mad and walked out of the company going to the UWF but Dusty didn't like the way the money deal was set up with the bar, he tried to change it....the bar refused so Dusty pulled the show for the time being until another agreement can be reached. Big John Studd has been sitting at home after nearly quitting the company over being told to drop the North American Championship to Jerry Lawler in a Cage Match a couple of weeks ago. Studd flat out refused to drop the title to Lawler thus the whole big schmoz ending with the Funks entering the cage and it becoming a tag match. Right now Fritz is trying to get Studd to agree to work the Texas Stadium show against Kerry on May 31st. It's been said he's agreed to work the match but rumor has it he's already made a deal to leave World Class and Dusty is worried he's not going to do business on his way out and wanted to do a "phantom switch" before the Parade of Champions "just to be sure he doesn't leave with our belt." There's been much ado in the dirt sheets about some of the finishes that Dusty has booked in recent weeks. It's quite different than what fans in this area are used to and many feel he is "hot shotting" the territory and it may do long term damage. Many feel Dusty's booking is similar to Eddie Gilbert's which caused quite a stir in the dirt sheets and lead to him quitting in the midst of a big angle. Originally, the deal to bring Jerry Lawler to Texas was to work a feud with Gilbert but by the time Lawler arrived, Gilbert had walked out. There were several plans that had to be changed when Dusty was signed on to become booker with Bad News Brown, David Shultz, and Ronnie Garvin all abruptly leaving in the midst of big pushes to go to the WWF, UWF, and AWA respectively. Roger Smith had taken on the role of Dirty Rhodes before Dusty was signed from the AWA, many thought this was done on purpose but it was purely coincidence it worked out that way and the very first thing Dusty said when he got to Dallas was "the Dusty wannabe has got to go!" They decided to make an angle of it but now that "Dirty Rhodes" has lost a 'Loser leaves Town' match, look for Roger Smith to resume a familiar role under a hood teaming with Don Bass as 'Fire and Flame' within the next few weeks. Look for a big angle involving Dusty on this week's TV show that will carry on through the Summer and should be a big draw for the Great American Bash tour. Dusty is said to have an "Ace in the Hole" for the Bash, "the most dangerous and innovative match wrestling has ever seen" that he's going to debut at the Bash stop in Dallas on July 22nd. It remains to be seen how Fritz will deal with Dusty putting so much focus on himself and how much of the spotlight it will take off of his boys. Many predict this will be the downfall of the Dusty/Fritz relationship, much like the Fritz/Bill Watts relationship and the Fritz/Jerry Jarrett relationship.....when Watts and Jarrett wanted to push other stars over his sons, things went south pretty quickly....it will be interesting to see how this will play out with Dusty.

Can't wait for the Harts vs. Arn/Tully! Savage vs. Windham as a feud in '86 is a dream come true!
-
Man, nobody does a better job developing their mid card guys and undercard than you do. Rock Riddle and the Agency are quickly developing into stars and "must see" segments each week! Duggan has established himself as a top babyface here in short order and filled the spot of Magnum TA well. A really solid card from top to bottom but there's no way I'm not driving to Richmond to see the Roadies vs. Abby/Tiger...that should be wild for sure!!

Great job utilizing your roster, getting the most bang for your buck with some guys that needed to be off the sidelines and back in our game. Kansas Jayhawks and Timothy Flowers are great choices as champions. Love the Blassie turn! -

Was hoping for a long run for Kokina but intriqued to see how Snuka's reign goes! Lethal Lottery is a fun concept, loved the main event! -
As Gordi said, great job intertwining the storylines into the tournament. Magnum is on fire here in the UWF, the final against Murdoch should be great. Loving the Gilbert vs. Rich storyline which is seemingly coming to an end.
-
Wow, I never thought it was possible for Carlos to be a bigger babyface in WWC but this angle manages to do so...great work. Bruce is wise to Owen now, looking forward to see where this goes from here.
-
What a great card! Love the main event! What's fun about it is depending on where you have this match at the heels and babyfaces could be interchangeable.
