Crews beat The Rock N' Roll RPMs in 9:12 -Billy Joe Travis upsets NWA Canadian International Tag Team Champion Kokina Maximus (w/Paul E. Dangerously) in 15:21 after interference from One Man Gang.
  2. That definitely was Carmella's best match of her career tonight. I've not been too keen on Carmella ever since she's joined the main roster but she killed it tonight.
  3. If I could be a bit nitpicky about the format, the promos are sometimes a bit hard to follow because it's all jumbled in one paragraph. I understand that it's because you wanna keep one segment to a specific paragraph but to me - only my 2 cents - it'd be easier to read if there was more space in promos. But other than that, as usual, you're doing a great job overall.

  5. Sorry to hear that but in the end, you gotta do what you gotta do. I just hope you'll chime in on various projects from time to time. See ya soon
  6. I must say that it feels so weird to see Honky Tonk Man in a Mid-Atlantic ring. Still, he can be an awesome heel for you to depend on at any time!
  7. Indeed, SNME is shaping up to be a classic. I'm curious to know how the Hart Foundation vs Demolition match will be booked, considering the stakes involved in that one!
  8. What a huge statement match for Arthur Crews. Even though if he came out on the short end of the stick, that was a big match for him. Only elevates the National title even further!
  9. I'm currently trying to get caught up on various styles and promotions. Planning on watching tonight AAA Guerra de Titanes from last year.
  10. Perfect for me
  11. Fresh faces draft is January 1st. And don't forget that on the UWF roster are the National Tag Team Champions, the Rock N' Roll Express. Therefore, I think we should proceed with that draft ASAP rather than wait at the same time than the Fresh Faces draft. Furthermore, there are many very good workers that could be helpful to all territories on that roster.
  12. NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling LIVE! August 23rd, 1986 Victoria, BC Quick and dirty results: -The show opens with new NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Champion "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin and Precious at the broadcast booth. Jimmy Garvin claims that finally he got rid of Eric Embry and he now is a champion that this territory can be proud of. Garvin says he's gonna be a fighting champion and he's ready to defend against anyone in the National Wrestling Alliance. That brings out Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Paul Orndorff who says he wants a piece of Jimmy Garvin. Then, Bull Gantner comes out and says he also wants a piece of Garvin too. Garvin says it's unfair as they're not in Lutte but Orndorff reminds Garvin that he said he'd be willing to defend against anyone from the NWA. Garvin then pitches a match between Paul Orndorff and Bull Gantner tonight with the loser being unable to challenge Garvin for the title while he has the belt. Both men accept and Gantner says the joke's on Garvin because no matter what, when one of them takes the title away from him, the other will get first crack at his title! -Doug Somers beat Bruce Hart in 7:13. Keith Hart was at commentary and made several derogatory remarks about his brother Bruce... -Mike Davis beat "Nightmare" Danny Davis (w/Floyd Creatchman) in 16:01 -Eric Embry beat MS-1 in 12:36 -In a special attraction match, Richard "Le Magnifique" Charland (w/Frenchy Martin) beat TNT in 11:50 -One Man Gang (w/Floyd Creatchman) beat Billy Joe Travis in 12:02. Postmatch, Gang says he and Floyd Creatchman won't rest until they get the tag team titles away from The Samoan SWAT Team. They don't care who wins it. Sooner or later, something will have to give as this territory is getting a bit too big for all of them. Floyd teases showing up at Battlebowl later this year to mess up with Paul E! -Gino Brito beat a local worker in 9:19. After the match, Gino asks what's the deal between him and Paul E. Dangerously. Gino says he wishes it didn't come to this but he'll have an explanation to give soon. -Keith Hart beat a local worker in 7:53 with the Sharpshooter. Bruce came out after the match to confront Keith and Keith slapped him. This time, Bruce responds with a right hand and leaves, with a shocked look on Keith's face! Loser Can't Challenge for Jimmy Garvin's Title until he loses it: Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Paul Orndorff beat Bull Gantner in 39:13 with the piledriver. Despite his deception, Gantner shook hands with Orndorff while Garvin - who was at commentary - gleefully rejoices that he has one less contender to worry about! À LA SEMAINE PROCHAINE SI DIEU LE VEUT!
  13. Beautiful Bobby is truly becoming a great champion in ECW and I couldn't be happier. One of the most underrated wrestlers ever!
  14. Really intrigued by that repackaging of Brickhouse Brown but if there's one thing you do better than anyone in this game, it's repackaging workers! I think I created a monster by booking Art Crews as the National Heavyweight Champion. Fantastic promo! And finally, we get James J. Dillon! :D
  15. Huge win for LeDuc in the main event with Carlitos Colon. Nice to see him get some great exposure on the island!

    NXT talk

Could very well be the case. IIRC, in the video of the attack, when Regal's told by a staff member about the attack, the first guy you see casually walking the other way is Johnny Gargano.
  17. Is it clear though if he still has a 90-day no-compete clause or if he's 100% free to take bookings?
  18. No problem.
  19. I think that's pretty much the good list.
  20. Well, I had to reshuffle some stuff but for the time being, it's getting the job done. :)
  21. That still doesn't excuse that it was in poor taste and they could've found another way to go the "this turf war has gone too far" route.
  22. They were doing so well and then, they pull off some good ol' fashion TNALOLZ stuff. Hell, I would've been fine if they had ran a driveby angle shooting Konnan rather than using a kid for a runover angle. I don't know what they were thinking but this is a major mistake by the new regime. Let's see how they'll bounce back.
  23. August 22nd, 1986 Saddledome, Calgary, AB -Andre The Giant & Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Paul Orndorff beat One Man Gang & Eric Embry (w/Floyd Creatchman) in 9:27 when Andre pinned the Gang -Richard "Le Magnifique" Charland (w/Frenchy Martin) beat Tracy Smothers in 12:01 -Doug Somers beat MS-1 in 12:41 -Joe Savoldi beat Jerry Ho in 5:09 NWA Canadian International Tag Team Championship: The Samoan SWAT Team (w/Paul E. Dangerously) beat Los Super Medicos in 21:07 to retain NWA Canadian International TV Championship: "Maniac" Matt Borne beat Rick Martel in 10:12 -"Nightmare" Danny Davis (w/Floyd Creatchman) beat Gilles "The Fish" Poisson in 11:12 NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Championship: "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin (w/Precious) beat Brian Adias in 22:20 to retain
  24. Lutte signs Jerry Ho & Steve Brinson
  25. Sounds good for me. @LowBlowPodcast The most updated roster I've found from World Class was on Page 6 of the roster database. Barring that Gene had made any trades before he left that were unannounced, you pretty much got it. I can also check in the Trades thread as well.
