While we're at it....I know that we agreed to use fake jobbers on TV every once in a while but I was wondering if it'd be feasible to sign some free agents on some one-night deals to use on some shows like TV or other spot shows. There are some pretty good guys who could fill that role while remaining free agents. I think that this could be an interesting alternative to jobber packs (for those who have some) and it could also be pretty useful to build the guys like the Fresh Face draftees.

And now, I got 2 things to write about! :D

Has there ever been a better time to be a wrestling fan than right now?

I'm actually thinking myself about starting a new wrestling action figures but those I find online are ridiculously expensive for some. -
I'm definitely in. But before sending you something, I need for my shows to air this week. :)

First reports suggest that it's actually similar to how Dusty Rhodes died: he apparently fell and hit his head and succumbed from his injuries. I don't know if it's official yet but that's what I've read. This one hurts a bit because my uncle and I were huge Hart Foundation fans. Jim Neidhart was his favorite wrestler ever. I told him the news and he was as sad as I was. RIP Anvil.

Anybody can have a great match with Ricky Steamboat and while Tom Zenk isn't a shabby worker by any means, no doubt that it exceeded expectations. Loved Piper & Orton vs Black Irish. Solid card overall!

I echo the love for the Mike Sharpe mini-push!

How fitting that Dory Funk Jr had another NWA World Heavyweight title shot in Amarillo. No doubt it had to be a fantastic match. I just love how you book Muta as well; so thrilled to see him and Gary Hart together here just like IRL! -
Interesting pairing here with JJ Dillon and Tony St. Clair....I think JJ will do wonders with him. Loved the angle with the Caspian Empire and Bull Gantner! Was about time that the Caspian Empire did something dastardly!

Loved seeing Jos LeDuc in the semi-main event here!

Are we talking about a possible career-ending injury here?

BREAKING NEWS: JIMMY GARVIN GETS WHAT HE WANTS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT IN MONTREAL!!! After 2 sneak attacks on TV Champion Matt Borne at the behest of NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Champion Don "The Pride of" Kernodle, it looks like "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin will finally get what he wanted; a title shot against the champ himself. Kernodle has informed Lutte promoter Frank Valois and NWA Enforcer Bruno Sammartino that he will accept to put his title on the line this Friday night at Jarry Park in Montreal in Lutte's annual summer stop at the historic stadium. Garvin and Kernodle will wrestle in the main event and it will be interesting to see what role if any Eric Embry will play in the match, given the less than complimentary comments made by Garvin about him recently. The card goes as follows: MAIN EVENT NWA CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin (w/Precious) vs Don "The Pride of" Kernodle (c) Black Bart vs Jacques Rougeau Bruce Hart vs Armand Rougeau JWA Trios Champion Lance Von Erich vs Joe Savoldi Hillbilly Jim & Cousin Elmer vs Los Infernales Tatsutoshi Goto (w/Paul E. Dangerously) vs Gilles "The Fish" Poisson -
Solid show overall and although it feels a bit weird to have a Luger vs Sid showdown in an ECW ring, given it's 1993 and ECW was still a traditional promotion in the sense of the word, it still works.

Interesting main event and totally unexpected challenger, which I like a lot. Also a big fan of Harley Race being Buddy Rose's surprise partner here!

I'd like to be a fly on the wall when Vince learns that New Japan will be doing a thing that he hasn't done with WWE in ages.

That had to be heartbreaking for her. Seriously, how much bad luck can one person have?

I can't tell you enough how much I love your WWC shows. I'm living wrestling in Porto Rico like if I was in there for real. Biggest cap in the feather of a writer :)

Providing that I run a show in Portland eventually, maybe. Or if miz wants to run BC. -
Big fan of the Bundy/Akbar pairing. It's not a far stretch for me to consider King Kong Bundy eventually the top heel in the UWF - and I think he should as he still has serious value at this stage of the game and his career.

I don't think this will be a problem. I use to do it in my early days in the project by using football players as guest referees in Canada.
-
It could become a problem for some territories here. I know that for instance, me in Canada, dawho in PR and both gordi & Grimmas in Japan, this won't be a problem because we don't plan a full-fledged expansion - at least not me. But it's conceivable for the US promotions here that this could become one. So, it will all be about fairplay and communication.
-
At one point, it's one discussion we'll have to have altogether when we'll want to expose the visibility of our territories in North America. It's only a normal step at one point for everyone to want to expand. And we'll have to do it in a way that will satisfy everybody.
