  1. Why not use Cody vs Brodie to trigger Cody's rumored heel turn to join Tully & FTR? And like you said, Hangman's road to redemption could start by beating Brodie for the TNT title.
  2. Also, they're finally using the Thunderdome in a good way to progress a storyline too. Fully invested in this angle, especially after the dagger Alexa was shooting at Heyman & Roman when they came out.
  3. Jon Alba has been pretty reliable lately when it came to WWE stuff in the past few months....wasn't he one of the first who broke the Sonya Deville stalker story?
  4. Not a fan of that option, considering the uptick in infection in half of the United States. If they move to that amphitheater in Tampa, fine; they'll be outdoors just like AEW with Daily's Place and you won't run any more unnecessary risks of another outbreak like they're dealing right now at the PC.
  5. Is WWE really considering moving out of the Amway Center? Considering that the NBA & NHL aren't starting back until January, why don't you try to extend the deal with Orlando until the end of the year while giving you more time to find proper venues again?
  6. So, you're telling me that since I always eat my steak medium, I eat it wrong?
  7. We seem to know that the current WWE outbreak comes from a party that an NXT talent threw recently but I really wonder how this one happened for AEW.
  8. Yeah, I read that interview too this afternoon. Nice to see that even after 4 years of pitching that storyline to work together, Alexa & Bray have the chance to do it. I don't know if there's anyone on the current WWE/NXT roster that has had worst luck than Tegan Nox since she's signed with WWE. While I agree that right now is "a good time" to be injured, I'm still concerned that they'll never give her a proper run once she's cleared to return.
  9. I think it's very telling of the impact the Road Warriors had in the business when somebody like my dad, who never really liked or watched pro wrestling, knew who were the Road Warriors and was impressed by their look. That's how you know you're a draw.
  10. First hour was really rough to watch, until the TNT title match. Cody's dyed hair job looked like it had just been freshly done or something.
  11. Think I just read that Brian Cage isn't feeling well either.
  12. Both Aries & Low-Ki have considerably handicapped their success in the business because of their shitty attitude.
  13. Apparently, Robert Roode might be returning tonight.
  14. CAN-AM PRO LIVE AUGUST 18TH, ARÉNA ROBERT-GUERTIN, HULL, QC -Octagon & Marty Jannetty (w/Ted Dibiase) beat Mad Man Pondo & Axl Rotten in 18:30 -"The German Mercenary" Ulf Hermann & Crash Holly beat Badd Company in 26:20 -Hardcore Holly & Can-Am TV Champion Carl Ouellet beat The Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow & Chris Candido) in 39:56 after Ouellet pinned Bigelow with the Cannonball -"The Jersey Dragon" Dixie beat "The Prospect" Donovan Morgan in 14:03 -Bob Backlund beat Masato Tanaka in 9:22
  15. Yeah, I got some fun stuff in mind with Mikey down the road. And besides, people will always pay to see the Lariat beat up some people so that's easy booking for me lol
  16. CAN-AM PRO TV TAPING August 17th,(Airing September 5th) Toronto, ON -Genichiro Tenryu & Black Panther beat The Hollys in 17:41. Joey Styles mentioned on commentary this was Tenryu's last contractual obligation for Can-Am Pro and the crowd gave Tenryu a standing ovation after the match. -Mikey Whipwreck beat "Séduisant" Sylvain Grenier (w/Rick "The Model" Martel) in 15:18 with the Whippersnapper -Tommy Dreamer beat Axl Rotten in 11:59 with the Dreamer Driver -Christian York & Joey Matthews make their way to the ring and say that they're tired of being overlooked already. They wanna show their worth and they're the future of Can-Am Pro so they wanna be treated as such. They're looking for a fight and this is what they're getting when Stan "The Lariat" Hansen come out to a huge pop, with his cowbell and everything. Hansen marches his way to the ring and as he enters the ring, Joey Matthews shoves Christian York in front of him with Hansen clocking York with the cowbell! York then staggers back to his feet and Hansen hits a huge Lariat that sends York flipping upside down, to a massive crowd. The TV ends with Matthews pulling York outside as Hansen celebrates in the ring with the crowd.
  17. Put her on RAW. Asuka needs fresh challengers and that seems to be the direction they're going with Zelina Vega challenging her for Clash. Besides, we know that Bayley and Sasha will be hogging the Smackdown Women's title picture for a while again so that's the best option they can have for her.
  18. The lack of bringing in LuFisto in this discussion is absolutely repulsive and appalling. I'll never stress enough how it's a travesty that LuFisto never had the opportunity to work a major promotion.
  19. Learning this and still wondering how AEW can still reasonably hold that Rosa/Shida vs Ivelisse/Diamante match next week.
  20. I certainly like the incoming feud coming between DDP and Booker T and it makes you wonder if Jeff Jarrett will bring one of these two to the dark side. Not necessarily joining him but eventually getting enough under their skin to make it happen. Also liked that you made a big deal of the fact this was the first ever 6-Men Tag in Pacific Northwest; just added more to the main event vibe!
  21. I feel like Kota Ibushi is winning this one. I particularly loved Kota's match with Juice Robinson from the G1 a few years back and even though it's pretty unlikely, I wouldn't mind another showdown between the two in the finals!
  22. The Alliance at Survivor Series 2001.
  23. I would agree that putting Gail Kim with Misawa & Kobashi is a great way to make her feel important right off the bat, even if it's only as a valet to get started. Also feel you could do some great things with The Untouchables and looking forward to see how they'll develop.
  24. Curious for Dominik vs Rollins in the steel cage tonight.
  25. John Silver is like the Lodi of the Dark Order and I'm all for it because he's just freaking hilarious in that position. As for Evil Uno, I don't know if it's that he wants to "protect" Cabana, as you say, as much as to cover his ass from the recent shortcomings caused by Cabana. But that poses an interesting theory though; should Evil Uno and Stu Grayson turn babyface and step away from Dark Order, who becomes the second-in-command? Would Brodie try to groom Anna Jay in taking a bigger role in the group (granted she's still SO YOUNG but I could see her become Brodie's pet project in the stable)?
