  1. I think Bruce is the last one, yes. Unless you consider Dick Ebersol as part of his inner circle during the SNME days.
  2. I know. Personally, I met Pat Patterson in 2001 for a meet & greet when they released tickets for the first Smackdown in Montreal. Lita was also a part of that but Pat was extremely popular. I remember when we got to talk to him and we mentioned that we drove 3 hours to go all the way to Montreal just to meet them, his immediate answer in French was "Ah ben, vous venez d'la campagne, câlisse!" (Which could be roughly translated as "Well, goddamn, people from the countryside!")....We had a blast and he couldn't have been nicer to everyone he met that day.
  3. You got no idea how many "pedophile" comments I've seen about Pat Patterson today on social media.
  4. Is it the Kamala figure with the reverse moon crescent or something?
  5. It's a miracle that burned hands is the only thing he has. Holy shit that was scary. Like Jos Verstappen scary
  6. I remember the first episodes of Main Event in 2012 featuring several main event guys. Randy Orton worked the very first episode of Main Event.
  7. That's the plan. Going for a revival of Lutte Internationale and I'm planning on setting up my roster this week.
  8. Honestly, sometimes it's not about the length of a segment but what you do in them. Just look at Billie Kay since the split of the IIconics. I'm laughing my ass off every time I see her on TV lately and she has about 30 seconds of air time each time. But it works because she maximizes her TV time by getting herself over with her comedic skills. I don't necessarily know if there's a correlation to be made between Sasha's screen time on TV lately and her Mandalorian episode but if you're talking about what she did in those segments in a positive light, that means it works. But I do agree that sometimes, some segments should be tailored to the feud and opponent of the moment. If it calls for longer segments and you know talents can pull it off, go ahead. But sometimes, short and to the point is what works.
  9. Want me to jump back in?
  10. A rivalry that started in WWE over the Intercontinental Championship that got carried all over to TNA when Christian made the jump to the promotion in 2005 and become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion in the process, rechristened as "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage. Booker T did follow suit a few years later and both continued what they started in WWE. This is the thread to talk everything Booker T vs Christian
  11. Apparently, we have our first COVID positive test at an Impact taping. Wrestler not identified but from what I read, Impact were just doing temp checks.
  12. Could've Maradona pulled a perfect Flair Flop though?
  13. Oh wow, thanks for the reminder. I didn't even remember that.
  14. I don't think we've seen one DQ finish in AEW since the start of the promotion.
  15. That's assuming that Taz would even be cleared to wrestle....Unless they put Taz's son Hook in there, which would not necessarily be a smart move if he's only been training recently. But then again, Cody & Dustin on the opposite side can be of some help for him
  16. Bob Ryder seemingly had been around the business like forever. I at least remember that he was working for WCW in their final years and 1wrestling.com was my go-to site in the early 2000s.
  17. It seems to have happened in he spot outside when he lifted Keith Lee and rammed him into the post. His head seems to have hit the post as well.
  18. Billie Kay could be Smackdown's R-Truth if they gave her the ball and run with it. Her comedic skills are very solid.
  19. All of the above mentioned picks would be solid additions to the AEW roster IMO. It might be a case of Cody and the gang trying to find their own "gems" and work with them rather than do a mix of those with established names like a Sami Callihan, like a Rhino or a Nick Aldis.
  20. I don't think that Brock returns until they can have big crowds in arenas again....which may only be 2022. But seems like the entire Bone Street Krew is in the house though....at least, the ones that are still alive.
  21. Fightful Select writes that the Taker Final Farewell isn't closing the PPV tonight. Which I find a bit weird, unless something bigger happens in the presumed main event between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns.
  22. I was very surprised that they didn't put Big E in that final Survivor Series spot. They actually didn't have Big E wrestle once since the split from Kofi & Woods and while I presume he'll get involved in the New Day vs Street Profits match tomorrow, that's not a really good sign in my book for Big E. As for Otis, clear as day that Gable turns on Otis in a matter of weeks.
  23. I mean, can you really blame the wrestlers for that? Some can't even tweet what they had for lunch without getting shit on by some fans.
  24. It is true that Billy seems taller than what's listed. I always thought myself he was 6'5"
  25. Billy Gunn is listed at 6'3" and Dustin at 6'6".
