  1. Well, we know one guy who hasn't handed anything over to Vince yet and it's Adam Cole BAYBAY since he's currently streaming on Twitch.
  2. I'm really curious to see if that meeting with Vince will amount to anything, and especially if somebody will speak up and if it's the case, who. Would a locker room leader like Roman Reigns, who isn't affected directly by the Twitch ban, dare to take his co-workers' side on this?
  3. Several WWE stars are leaving Twitch, starting tonight. AJ Styles, Mia Yim, Cesaro, Zelina & Aleister Black, as well as Dio Maddin/MACE all announced the suspension of their Twitch activities. To think that if AJ hadn't opened his mouth one time too many, Vince wouldn't have ever given a fuck about Twitch.
  4. I don't know about Andre's WWE stint not being bullshit free on the HBO doc but considering that Pat Laprade was the field producer on that doc and he's extensively researched everything about Andre's personal life (he was still writing the bio with Bertrand Hébert that came out earlier this year), I doubt that this part was bullshit on any front but I guess that's besides the point. But with Vince being the subject of that doc, who knows.
  5. Speaking of Priestley, I assume she's still with STARDOM?
  6. Normally, the first thought that would've popped up in my mind when I saw Leyla Hirsch tonight would've been "Holy shit, is she short". But in reality, it was "Jesus Christ, I've seen tree stumps smaller than Leyla's calves". I bet she never missed one leg day at the gym. Totally sold on her after tonight.
  7. Not entirely true but it is indeed very rare. I read recently when they started the Fiend/Alexa angle that it was a storyline that Alexa pitched to WWE creative in 2016 when she came up to the main roster (the way I understood it, it wasn't exactly the same as it is now but the gist of it was similar) but they didn't go for it immediately. Also, wasn't there a pitched storyline involving Maxine from NXT Season 3 that was then given to the God-awful Aksana that led her to quit on the spot?
  8. Yeah, that Tessa buzz has fizzled out rather quickly.
  9. That's one gorgeous belt right there. Probably one of the best looking I've seen at the moment.
  10. I want the shooter to be somebody completely out of left field. Like Mortimer Plumtree or one of the Flying Elvises. If you wanna go bonkers (which I give total credit to Impact Wrestling for owning all of this mentality), just pull all the stops here.
  11. Considering the interview that Thunder Rosa gave recently about WWE only interested in signing her to be a referee, I seriously doubt she's gonna sign with WWE. They're gonna have to eat crow on this one as I fully expect Thunder Rosa to sign with AEW. Although Serena Deeb winning the NWA Women's World title tonight as a contracted AEW talent makes me believe that there's some sort of working relationship between AEW & NWA. Especially since Serena is defending the title already tomorrow on Dynamite.
  12. Given The Fiend's most recent attacks, other than Kevin Owens, he's pretty much attacked heels so that would make him the de facto babyface. But I see both Fiend & Alexa more like tweeners at the moment and I think they should be booked as such. Personally, I want Alexa to be the one to beat Asuka. I couldn't stomach Asuka doing another job to Charlotte Flair and quite frankly, I'm tired to constantly Charlotte with a title belt. When's the last good storyline that Charlotte was involved in that didn't revolve around a title?
  13. For many years, it was argued that this wasn't the feud that was meant to be; that it should've been David Von Erich's finest hour and spot. David was always considered to be the best of the Von Erichs but before he ever had the chance to wrestle Flair for the NWA World title, tragedy struck the Von Erichs like it never has struck any other family. As a result, Kerry Von Erich stepped in for a memorable match at the first David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions and the rest is history. However, the story between these two started a little bit before that....This is the thread to discuss everything Kerry Von Erich vs Ric Flair!
  14. It's safe to say that Kylie would probably have been indeed a key piece in the AEW Women's division but that was such a critical mistake on Cody's parts to even put that high of expectations on Kylie. He probably wasn't aware of Kylie's mental health issues and we can hardly blame him for that but that's something that he probably wish he wouldn't have said. I think everyone understood what he meant by that but in hindsight, not the best timing to say that. With that said, all that matters right now is that Kylie gets better.
  15. Does anybody actually expect The Miz to successfully cash-in?
  16. I guess that would make more sense with the hospitalization and "serious injury" parts. I agree with that assessment, although I think that the Brie/Liv and Tay/Abadon situations are slightly different; with Brie, it definitely was a case of ring rust as she had multiple incidents in that last run (as I remember, she also botched a tope about a week before knocking out Liv) while with Tay, it could indeed be a matter of still being green. Unless you're a seasoned veteran and absolutely know what you're doing, especially as a woman, I agree that the YES kick sequence should be left to the guys.
  17. Not necessarily the most important rivalry in JBL's career but one significant nonetheless since it's the rivalry that will lead to his retirement after Wrestlemania 25 by dropping the Intercontinental title to Rey Mysterio. This is the thread to discuss the Rey Mysterio vs JBL rivalry!
  18. Reports from the taping of next week's Dynamite suggest that Abadon suffered a serious injury in her match against Tay Conti that needed for her to be hospitalized. Don't know exactly what happened but from what I read, could be a torn ACL.
  19. Asuka totally stole the show in Law & Otis, if you ask me. Should've seen the end coming with Miz bribing JBL to rule in his favour. Those "Tribal Consequences" just add another layer to Roman's new persona. It definitely makes everything perfectly clear that Roman has established himself as the chosen one of the Anoa'i family and he wants to be treated as such, even by his cousins. Having Jimmy Uso come back to set up the blindside attack by Jey was a nice touch. We obviously all know the end result for Sunday but I really am looking forward to see the dynamic between Roman & the Usos after Hell in a Cell. Could make for an interesting build towards Survivor Series.
  20. It's mostly that he's a reliable hand that can get you what you want out of a match, a storyline or elevating another worker. And you can never have enough of those on a roster. Yes, EY should've had a way better run than he had on the WWE main roster. And I'm convinced this serves as extra motivation for him to prove his worth. I'm fully expecting EY and Rich Swann to tear the house down tomorrow night.
  21. Impact Wrestling has made their ENTIRE video library on Impact plus available for free for Bound for Glory weekend: https://impactwrestling.com/celebrating-our-incredible-fans/?fbclid=IwAR32pFpp3jKOmGUI1-QNU-103y2DHTM_1iwzcYRO-U2pWV66iDwtyxQIwus
  22. Apparently, Kairi Sane will be part of the Japanese broadcast team for Hell in a Cell this Sunday.
  23. It's one thing for fans to not notice it when you watch the match on TV (I didn't even know about this until I read about it on Twitter this morning) but it's another when the staff & wrestlers don't. At least, The Blade did something about it, although it wasn't optimal by any stretch. With that said, it is high time that Tony Khan, Cody & the rest of the staff get their shit together when it comes to some of their referees and make sure they know what they're doing because there are very few in the past year that can look themselves in the mirror and say "I think I did a pretty solid job in this first AEW year".
  24. They did start using the term "hospital" recently, as early as this summer. I think it was when they wrote off Elias at the Performance Center.
  25. So, basically if I understood correctly, Yang's plan is hoping that some talent in WWE is on "fuck it" mode and rats out Vince to the governement?
