  1. Apparently, some are bouncing off ideas to take the briefcase away from him but I don't think Vince will go for it.
  2. Apparently, Taya Valkyrie was cast in Season 4 but I guess we'll never get to see it.
  3. That was Ridge Holland. Been moved from NXT UK to NXT recently
  4. I think most importantly, if you look at the praise that Roman Reigns is getting right now - and also Alexa Bliss for her current angle in The Fiend -, they both have something in common; they truly grasp what their character is all about. They fully understand the motivation behind their character's actions at a specific moment in a storyline and they're able to convey that naturally. I think the same could've been said for Becky Lynch when "The Man" was born as well. It's very easy to relate and get invested in a character when you can understand yourself from a psychological standpoint why they act the way they do and say the things they say. It was horrifying and yet compelling to hear Alexa explain her interactions with the Fiend, juggling between sheer terror and despair and enthrallment 5 seconds later. It was as easy to understand Roman's motivations behind the Tribal Chief thing, especially knowing everything the bloodline of the Anoa'i family. I can definitely share your sentiment about the Omega/Hangman split because it tells the same type of story that we can relate to; pretty much taking a friendship for granted and being negligent about it until it blows up in your face and you try to patch things up but realize down the road that it might be too late and you push somebody over the edge. It's in fact quite interesting that Hangman Page finds himself in the same situation that Nikki Cross finds herself in in the current Alexa/Fiend storyline; it was her actions of shoving Alexa in frustration after losing to Bayley that triggered a whole sequence of events that led to the alliance between them. If everything falls into place for the Draft, we might get to see that story of redemption for Nikki and Alexa. As you said, when WWE commits themselves to long-term storytelling and doing stuff outside their usual settings, they are capable of great stuff. They just need to be more consistent and fight the right performers to pull it off. On the Smackdown side, they sure have found them.
  5. It's Roman feeling disrespected by the fact that Jey didn't acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief like he wanted him to. Very likely that Jey's beatdown at Hell in a Cell will be that much bigger to make a point for Roman's next feud.
  6. Well, Paige seems to be the one that will take that route and she looks like she gives zero fucks at this point.
  7. Don't know if it's telling but Woods changed his Twitter handle to "AustinCreedWins" instead of "XavierWoodsPhD" tonight. Take it for what it's worth.
  8. This should be most interesting. And perhaps indicating that KO will be on Smackdown going forward.
  9. That was a common theme tonight. Lots of midcard talents who brought it: Darby, Starks, Kassidy, Butcher. All looked great in the process.
  10. Nice, gonna give it a watch tonight after Dynamite!
  11. To my knowledge, he has before he left the first time in the mid 2000's but if I remember correctly, a lot of his ideas was considered a bit over-the-top to creative's liking. Some made more sense though as he wanted the ECW relaunch to be an online show rather than being on TV, possibly to keep the essence of what the original brand was but that never happened.
  12. How long does Pillman Jr still has on his MLW contract? My best guess would be that this is the reason why he hasn't been featured more prominently other than the Dark appearances.
  13. At this point, I'm not even sure that the ROH working relationship would be the biggest hurdle in an NJPW/AEW working relationship but more the fact that NJPW has a working relationship with CMLL and AEW with AAA. ROH has lost so much steam ever since The Elite guys have left to create AEW that I don't know honestly if it's worth the hassle for NJPW to keep that going.
  14. Anywho, Murphy just appeared on RAW Talk and indicated it was pretty much a friendship storyline. Let's see if it's gonna stay that way
  15. I mean, I could've perceived the segment wrong but I was under the assumption that in the storyline, it was Aaliyah who messaged Murphy and not the other way around. So, I hardly see this as grooming as some people are ranting about on Twitter. Is that uncommon from girls Aaliyah's age to be attracted to older guys or am I completely overthinking this?
  16. I hope that at least, those showing outrage at Alexa's tweet are equally if not more outraged by the notion that Velveteen Dream is still getting air time on NXT and being employed by WWE. If not, then they should shut the fuck up.
  17. Nice! Looking forward to follow that!
  18. Didn't see the PPV but I saw a clip of the spot where Angel got injured and it's a miracle he didn't break his neck also in the process. Interesting you're mentioning the quad; I first read it was a hip injury but quad also makes sense.
  19. Did Charly spoil the result of the RAW Tag Title match before that Andrade & Garza promo?
  20. Hmm...so, it's either a preventive measure because one of the 4 got exposed. Who knows then...They're probably gonna book Bayley vs Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Women's title to keep the tie-in with the original matchup.
  21. What if it was Shayna? Don't forget that 2 of her roommates are NXT roster members. And if they attended that rumored party...
  22. Wait, BOTH? No replacements at all? Edit: Nevermind, just read that WWE has been planning for a replacement for Nikki for the past couple of days.
  23. There seems to be conflicting reports about Nikki Cross being pulled off tonight's show due to precautionary measures (NXT COVID-19 outbreak; her being married to Kilian Dain, might've been exposed) but haven't seen anything confirmed yet. Judging by WWE's Twitter account, that one seems to be still on.
  24. Tut, tut, it's the Tribal Chief for you, thank you very much.
