What is the end game with those Bryan/Shane segments? What is all of that supposed to accomplish? What a huge waste of time.

My God. This promo by the Usos.

It doesn't take much to realize he's always been and always will be a trooper. Poor booking doesn't stop him from trying his damnest with his KO/Zayn feud. Anyone else in his position would make an already poor feud that much worse. While not putting constantly good matches like Roman, for instance, he always tries to make his opponent look like a million bucks and naturally shines throughout the match, even if it is not really good.

I legit think a Cena/Braun program could reach the heights of that Umaga feud. It doesn't have an unbeaten streak or the WWE belt on the line, but Braun is insanely over right now and is easily becoming one of the best giants in wrestling history.

No joke, this match actually made me a Sony DeVille fan, even with the weird finish.

She still has to go through Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille. Those two are the final bosses. Also, my God they are making some incredible and hilarious storytelling with Jason Jordan.

Saw this on twitter and couldn't believe how cool it is: Dr. Wagner Jr. carries his belt in a guitar case. My God. -
This was the best match Bray had since HiaC 2015. Guess who was his opponent.

Kicking off RAW with Bray Wyatt vs the only guy he manages to have good matches with aka Roman Reigns.

It's a shame that Mascarita Dorada was mostly relegated as a comic relief mascot in WWE, because he is incredible -
Those few next NXT tapings are WILD.

How long has it been since all crowds of wrestling fans reached some sort of consensus? Not that Dave's ratings are any gospel, but I don't remember any other match having EVERYONE go "yeah that's a full five if I ever rated matches"
-
Are these mirror matches ever any good (or at least memorable)? I suppose Demolition vs. Powers of Pain (around Survivor Series 88), Road Warriors vs. Demolition (after Summerslam 90) and Road Warriors vs. Powers of Pain all happened, but I don't remember anyone talking about that. Heavy Machinery vs Authors of Pain was a good, overlooked little match that never had another chance to shine. Considering how those two teams are similar, and how War Machine have a similar vibe... could see it working. Hoss tag teams are underrated as shit.

What killed Perro Aguayo wasn't even the 619, dude. It was actually the dropkick he does to setup the move, which makes it the freakiest of freak accidents.

You can still find lots of resistance to the idea that Rey is not one of the best wrestlers ever - as in, top 5 ever. There are still much more people ready to rank HBK or Bret as #1 without even considering Rey in the discussion.
-
How fucking awesome would it be to get a War Machine vs Heavy Machinery feud?
-
Rey vs ____ is a match that I want. There just isn't anyone in the current roster that he couldn't have at least a solid match with. INCLUDING useless garbage like Bray Wyatt.

JB sharing the announce table with Mauro somehow seems like a downgrade when compared to the time he shared with Josh Matthews. If he works mostly on production/writing, that's great. Some of the people there need more colorful material.

What a hoot. Not only we had delightful dynamics in-ring with Zayn being heelish towards the crowd and being a cunning coward against Braun, but also he was supportive of Becky sing "Happy Birthday" to her. Lynch and Bliss wer much more comfortable here than in many of their matches, which is good, and Strowman is no stranger to Zayn. Alexa and Braun are unbelievable. Their dynamic is great and it went into play in the finish. The post-match is HYSTERICAL. What a fun match.

It's quite sad that this thread is from late-2016 and nothing has changed.

Imagine if Jericho and his list didn't take over the act. RAW was AWFUL during that era, with Reigns being on an island but only doing so much while KO, Jericho and Rollins were taking a massive shit in-ring and having even worse storylines. Rusev was kinda there, too. While Zayn at least has good chemistry with AJ, he's clearly #2 to KO - and as usual Owens gets put in a prominent position in the show he is in and does squat.
-
It most certainly is. Some keywords like "30 other women" and "making history" give this away - not that it isn't and interesting storyline.

Apparently there is going to be something cooking between the Women's Division and Ronda Rousey, from what twitter indicates. They are mad because she is getting all the headlines while the wrestlers in the Rumble get zero recognition. Could be a good story.

The quickness in which Asuka reversed the Bank Statement into the Chickenwing (and a very tight one at that) is scary. This match fucking rocked. Asuka needed a performance like that to cement her place as this dominant force. Loved the urgency and overall dangerousness of the 2nd half.

amazing episode but my god imagine not paying attention to balor/cena
