Lots of injuries going on. Let's see if they are able to keep the pace going on RAW despite that.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

Royal Rumble entrant maybe? Would hope so. Also, Lashley is done with the company as well. -

As long as Master has another run in WWE, I am completely fine with that. -

Apparently, EC3 is done with the promotion. -
Awful in many levels. Not only was the injury freakish, on a relatively simple spot, but Paige was actually giving some nice depth to RAW's Women's Division. Not only that, but TONS of people are going to redirect their anger at Sasha, when in truth it was akin to Joe ending Kidd's career. Horrible fate.

Wow. That is SO fucked up. It's up there with Tyson Kidd's retirement-inducing injury.

He has quite a bad track record regaring his comments towards women. I remember him saying something about Nikki Bella and how it was hard to take her seriously with her attire, or something.

Honestly, I would actually like Undertaker as a manager. Make it full circle. Make him say silly shit like Paul Bearer used to and put over how much of a killer the wrestler he manages is. If Undertaker actively endorses someone, he must be incredible, etc.

"By no means do I actually think he believes in those words. There's no possible way. (...) I take absolutely zero offense in him saying it. Especially since it's quite clear that the fact of the matter is much, much different." When you look at it this way, he can come off as a bit conceited, kinda salty. Saying that Roman couldn't possibly think of himself as the best could easily be interpreted as "he wouldn't have the gall to think he's better than me". -
Pretty much this. Star ratings are now, more than ever, just something that people will mention in arguments on the internet. "Oh, but Roman has never had a 5 star match! Omega had two SIX STAR MATCHES gaaaaaah"

I get why people like Omega, but sometimes he just comes off as a huge crybaby https://www.iwnerd.com/kenny-omega-responds-roman-reigns-calling-best-performer-ring-world-right-now/ -
I was more adressing common points people make about Nakamura than you yourself. My bad for not specifying it. I would doubt Nakamura wouldn't turn it up for AJ, specially at a big stage like WM. He gave half a fuck for a lesser opponent in Roode for a lesser event, which is already more than he usually does. However, fair fucks to him, he manages to stay relatively over with minimum to no effort. God bless that theme song.

Paige also officially out of the Rumble. Fucking shame.

Not sure. Sometimes there are guys that the NXT crowd fucking LOATHES and that get over so damn well when they make the transition. Elias had ridiculous heat to the point people didn't want him to exist, and now he's slowly becoming a star. Some are just better used on a bigger stage (Joe, Alexa, and I'd argue Finn) Velveteen has enough charisma that can make things work for him. Different look, style, knows how to sell a match with facial expressions and his attire... it's not like he is 2013 Big E who was at that point just a good wrestler and took years until he actually had a good character. -

Also, do you think Velveteen Dream could reach the main event spot on the main roster in WWE? Become WWE Champ and all that? Or his ceiling is lower? -

I love how he had a wish list of indy talent he wanted to wrestle against and was one of the most protected guys at that time, never losing clean - if he lost. It's not that he is terrible (unless when it comes to portraying an actual character and not a caricature), but he is so... mediocre. He was ok in Arrow, tho. -
I'm pretty sure he didn't "become" a guy that coasts for most of the year and turns it up for like 2 or 3 big matches per year in WWE. Many made the same criticisms when he was in NJPW hiding 3/4 of the year in 6 man tags and only showing up for WK and some select G1 matches. WWE exposure made people have 2 wrong notions, often by two distinct camps of fans: His laziness is due to Vince's booking; He needs to be carried to good matches.

Rhodes ever since leaving WWE is like a poor man's Miz with a little bit of Jim Carey's Riddler thrown in. -
Not sure if I would enjoy Miz going for the Universal Title. I mean, he's spent not only like 4 years involved with the IC belt, but he elevated it to almost main event status in 2016. I think it would be pretty out of character for him to just abandon something that he gave newfound prestige and chase something else. The IC belt is pretty much his baby right now.
-
If Enzo's ankle injury was a work (and I've read that it was), props to him - the selling was unreal. As for the blood, I think it was hardway.
-
Miz getting his own show, being the best promo in the world, being top 5 IC champ ever (and by 2019 he's gonna be THE #1 IC champ), and somehow some people don't think he is a star. That man is a blessing.

Balor Club vs Rollins/Roman/JJ for the RAW main event. Finn vs Roman's got to be one of the top matchups in WWE right now.
-
Also, WWE posting Masters' debut makes me wish he would return for the rumble. He's still under contract with Impact right? I can dream.
-
NJPW wants to have a working relation with WWE. Also gotta love how they want to build new stars for the future, given how they've isolated Okada as the ace. http://www.pwmania.com/njpw-owner-says-he-wants-to-work-with-wwe

Didn't Roman already break the record for most eliminations in one Rumble match like 4 years ago? If he can go the Elimination Chamber route, I'll be all in for it. A lineup of Braun/JJ/Roman/Finn/Miz/Elias doesn't look half bad.
