    AEW TV Megathread

They can't do No Limit Soldiers without Brad Armstrong but surely Tony Khan can pull together a Swoll cameo for the older crowd
  2. Heyman's double slow motion low blow turn was comical. Not the best first night
  3. Shithouse new day is a good little career move for them
  4. I always watch Bloodsport mainly because of the Barnet connection but Regals kid beating Shinya Aoki was certainly an odd choice. The fella has tapped John Lineker and was fighting in One only last month while Dempsey is to my eyes nothing much at all. The card was full of things like that
  5. Okay that hogan speech is even worse than i thought it'd be. Trumpomania
  6. Haven't actually watched the bulk of the card yet but the fact that they got it looking so good in the Apex of all places really does draw further light on how bad UFC have been at presenting the product over the last two years I can't believe the difference. If i hadn't have known it was the same venue I'd never have guessed
  7. Its just forward planning for the five hour epic survivor series
  8. Interesting to watch it play out on twitter, though. Almost immediate terrible feedback
  9. Terrible decision, this Feels a bit like mid-South running videos of Bundy/JYD etc losing after they jumped to WWF. Borderline fake Diesel territory
  10. No chance I'm watching both nights. Outside of yesterday's main any recommendations other than Gunther/Sami? I will probably watch Bayley win the belt as well
  11. Shayna Baszler at Bloodsport was a good laugh
  12. I was watching early 90s WWF recently & I really do miss Heenan
  13. I think he's more likely to buy a brothel
  14. Slightly intimidated by Jaida Parker but in a good way
  15. Great performance from Cody at this press conference thing, got to say. Think i have judged him unfairly before
  16. It's not too late to get Sami and Jey involved and bring it all back to last year
  17. Big Bill is perfect in it's simplicity
  18. Looks like Johnny Ace is flipping to witness to me
  19. The idea of the Rock coming back and embracing the Corporate Champion heel role by accident is actually a lot more interesting than whatever he intended Not that it will persuade me to start watching Raw in full again, mind
  20. I'd imagine they'll just bring someone over from UFC like Mark Ratner to run it day to day and you'll end up with a booking committee, a bit like the matchmaking one in UFC structure
  21. 200,000 dislikes is absolutely hilarious let's be honest They may have to make an angle out of this
  22. I have a feeling this juiced to the gills incarnation of the Rock will tear a muscle early and the match becomes a car crash. Just posting that for posterity
  23. I think realistically unless someone is going to slap them about then it's a pointless exercise I know it's a different context but if you look at e.g Austin getting into some shit with Stu Hart at Canadian Stampede, there can be uses for the nostalgia figure, but I'd be perfectly happy to never see either on TV again
  24. Very odd behaviour; I guess they decided the "ignorance is bliss" approach was best, but it seems to have failed quite badly That said UFC have retained the dickhead at the top, maybe it's the TKO approach. Triple H the scapegoat
