I really liked the show tbh but Jericho needs to sober up For all the failings I like how some tv shows are occasionally like In Your House

WWE TV 05/03 - 05/09 Big Roman made little Bryan humble.

Sounds like he thinks Bryan has talked himself into a corner with his world tour hyperbole -

Just give him his own little company on the network, he's a booker at heart -
Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

Can't pretend I know loads about Sexy Star bar the Triplemania incident etc, but she got absolutely destroyed in Combate last night Poor refereeing maybe but a bit of karma there perhaps -
The Thread Killer Talks Too Much: The Recaps
Dale Wolfe replied to The Thread Killer's topic in Pro Wrestling
Fingers crossed for your health sir. Have enjoyed reading the thread. As for the hard drive, you should be able to take it out of laptop and mount it in an external hard drive caddy, probably the easiest way. The hard drive is likely salvageable even if your cpu is fried. Happy to help if you want any advice -
I watched the episode on brawl for all and still think it was a rib on Ross & Cornette for buying into the Dr Death tough guy act Russo tried to take the credit but that smells of McMahon to me. Midcard bully could probably have worked but he didn't have the right kind of charisma to be top of the card in that era in WWF

Yeah great observation. When there was an indie scene it was a pretty strong move to come out of WWE having been "cheated" by the system and value was massively inflated by that, whether justified or not.

Chavo Romero on bloodsport how did I not know about that Just echoing Mox v Barnett praise, really really good. I really do love bloodsport style even if it doesn't always work.

Just waiting for bellator to start properly. Did Logan Paul sign on for a couple of fights or is this just a slightly surreal Pipers Pit? Haven't saw Smackdown in a while Seth Rollins' tie-dye suit was strange

I wouldn't quite say drunk that's a bit much ha. It is Friday tho I would put it this way regards making sense - unless it's a hugely involved storyline I should be able to throw a wrestling show on and understand the motivations of most characters & context should be easy enough. Dynamite doesn't really do that! Its messy and a bit scattergun and the commentary doesn't help. I thought Miro was a face! Anyway bellator is on now, so I am lurching from one rough show to another Have a good night gentlemen

Ha! i stand by my opinion Its not a bad show but none of it really makes any sense. Yes the matches are longer but it doesn't mean the context is any different Pretty extreme reactions lads. Calm down

No need for the ageism either please kid, we are all just temporary vessels upon a rock in space. age is transient

As for it not being crash TV I will put this comparison out to you. The semi-main was a women's tag team match with 10+ people on the outside, one of whom is Matt Hardy in a suit. There is a spot where one woman does a frogsplash and knocks down 5 men. The match is won after a Steve Blackman kendo stick spot. The main event is a ring surrounded by arcade machines and there are at least 3 spots involving a whack a mole machine. A returning woman arrives via a claw machine-was she in it the whole time? The finish derives from some lad being driven in a white SUV by his mother- is this a Judy Bagwell reference intentionally or not. At one point Miro picked up a mame cabinet and tried to throw it at that cowboy looking lad whose mum drove him to the show. Earlier Chris Jericho had thrown MJF through some garden furniture that's indoors for some reason and flushed his head down a toilet before throwing him through the sugar glass door to a pepsi fridge. It was a good laugh tbh but if you describe these spots without sentiment then it these angles are Russo-era crash TV at best. Embrace it

I don't think anyone is a breakout star here tbh except maybe Darby allin or mjf
-
Just my opinion fella don't take it personal

That's the most I've watched of dynamite in probably six months without turning it over. It's really not a good product but to be fair it is almost approaching crash TV at times and it did keep my attention Miro is clearly the star. Program him against moxley and drop omega and all those bums to the mid card

Good bump through the air hockey table

There is nothing worse than going to advert break with one character on top and then coming back to see that same person getting the shit kicked out of him so badly that they can stack ring barricades on top of him. Makes zero sense
-
I'm not sure if there's any background to why there are dozens of arcade machines around the ring in the main but if there is the commentary hasn't really explained it. Why is there a whack a mole machine? Miro/Rusev easily the most credible offence I've saw so far, by a country mile. I don't watch this show often but it is pretty confusing even if I have had a drink I do not believe cassidy could get anywhere near Miro in real life and I'm glad he is just getting the shit kicked out of him so far
-
Probably more of a general comment than anything to do with this show but it's surprising how few people have taped wrists or elbow pads now & I think it's often to their detriment
-
Of course Kenny Omega got the pin Hope moxley stiffs him
-
There are a few things that I find curious really. why is the sound compression on the MJF/Jericho segment 8 or 9 times worse than that of the Team Taz one directly before it, why is everything garden furniture, is JR commentating from a different location to everyone else? Or did they just give him a shit headset The polish isn't there is it. Main event pretty cool though love the lucha bros Edit- not the main event

The reason the QT / Cody angle lost so many viewers is because it is one of the worst beatdowns I've saw on any wrestling show since the lockdown. Cody has too much heart to fight his friend, oh look a deeply week right hook knocks out Arn Anderson somehow. Arn. Then the fight after it, is there a single blow that looks like it would hurt at all? Really poor execution on that one. Anyway I am still watching for now
-
None of them are cool man Kenny Omega is one of the worst "characters" I've ever saw on TV, even if his matches do tend to deliver.
