WWE TV 05/16 - 05/22 I have jinxed the Phoenix Suns
Dale Wolfe replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
This is what im saying. It's so publicly absurd that it's hard to actually believe it. In terms of how does it draw, they've repeatedly proven that they struggle with that concept anyway. I dont really care about buying a clue etc, something just seems fake about it to me. Far too much coverage. The radio silence on socials from people involved is odd as well -

Deep Heat isn't great but it does have a bit of ramshackle charm in a way There is one thats honestly funny, maybe 3 or 4, but the rest are average -
They'd be fools to let the lad go. I'd be amazed if they don't come to an agreement but there are a lot of people on the roster

Maybe its time for one mad promotion with them all in -
That speech seems pretty sincere to me. Wonder if contract talks have broken down, less than a year left

I have only really cherry-picked the supposed big matches because of her notoriety but I thought she could really go I didnt realise she was only mid-twenties tbh, often think getting a lot of attention early can really send things south Anyway, sounds like shes done herself over regardless. Still think WWE should take a shot just so she can try and take liberties with Rousey & see what happens -

Tessa Blanchard is a fool but i do still love that 2019 Sami Callihan match & the Mercedes Martinez one at Rise Edited for initial hyperbole -
The Bobby Lashley ring break is mad, he was lucky to dodge one there

Danielson & Kingston in the G1 please Did they sign Cesaro yet?

Does he have long covid? That would explain a lot, his movement is very different than, say, pre-NXT

Re: Keith, he does seem to gas a lot quicker than he used to.

Thought the punk match was good, enjoying old man punk a lot, but this show feels pretty flat lately to me. They need a better booker

Some people just aren't cut out for the internet man -
They should have someone come in as an estate agent, instant heel heat Irwin R Slumlord

Haven't really paid attention to the card much till this weekend, why Omos v Lashley? I thought they were trying to protect Omos and build him up, surely Lashley going over makes him lose a bit of steam Or does Lashley take the hit? WWE booking is so weird sometimes

That Bianca v Becky match is going to be hard to top this weekend. Really surprised how good it was.

That grayson waller bump onto the ladder was one of the stupidest things I've seen in a while. Good on him

I really think bloodsport could benefit from a cage. The suplex spot on the outside in Moxley/Busick makes me think what's the point really? Even if they just did Pride rules in a normal ring I am nitpicking though it was a hell of a card. And the chop after the suplex is unbelievable to be fair I also hate "BLOODSPORT" CLAP CLAP "BLOODSPORT" CLAP CLAP but this is a bit old man shouts at a cloud, i know

The grand and pathetic journey of the Undertaker at WrestleMania
Dale Wolfe replied to El-P's topic in Pro Wrestling
I think the Batista one is probably the best Taker match ever, never mind just Wrestlemania The spectacle of the Mankind HITC is hard to top but in terms of execution the Batista one is hard to beat. Probably one of my favourite Wrestlemania matches ever, tbh, Bret/Austin the obvious winner- 206 replies

I do like the idea of Cesaro coming into Combat Club but I would much prefer a series vs Danielson

WWE TV 03/21 - 03/27 Omos is the true heir to Andre the Giant

Looked them up and they're not all terrible but 184 is horrific, I'll give you that one! -

Maybe liability is the wrong word, it could just be typical WWE spite, but they have quite obviously pushed Sasha down the card compared to her previous status, and considering she has the biggest profile outside of the fed. It's obvious what they're doing there, usual shit -

We can talk about Rousey as a massive PPV star but her last fight was what, 2016 now. Really her biggest shows were driven by the story anyway- Holly Holm was by far the biggest/stockiest she'd fought & the Nunes "comeback" card was really based on seeing if she still had it. Up against Charlotte Flair is dull and neither of them can talk really, at least v eachother. If she was heel against Becky I think it would been a much better direction. I know Sasha is viewed as a liability but isn't she in that massive Star Wars show? Mainstream appeal x2, however Ronda has waned. They just can't book for shit. I do wonder what would have happened with Ronda if she'd have managed to have the rematch with Holm early 2016. Nunes of course far better than both but she could have retained a bit of mystique if she'd got her win back from holly
