(The Mid-South video slams on screen with quick clips of the top stars ending on a shot of the Mid-South North American Champion The Grappler. We then cut to ringside where Boyd Pierce and Floyd Creatchman are standing by) BP: Welcome everyone to Mid-South Wrestling coming as always from the Irish McNeil Boy's Club in Shreveport Louisiana. I'm Boyd Pierce and I'm joined once again by "Pretty Boy" Floyd Creatchman & Floyd we're only 24 hours away from the Superdome Extravaganza where we'll crown new Mid-South Tag Team Champions. FC: That tournament is just about all anyone's been talking about since I arrived in the territory it's finally upon us. But that's not all that's happening tomorrow is it Boyd Pierce? BP: Certainly not we've got 2 guaranteed title matches already as Don Diamond defends the Mississippi Championship against Percy Pringle the 3rd's monster Killer Khan. Also as a result of his victory in last weeks main event Bob Roop has been granted the Louisiana Championship match against "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin he & his manager Sir Oliver Humperdink have been requesting for weeks. But before we get to the Superdome we've got a incredible show for you today. The aforementioned Sir Oliver Humperdink will lead his Royal Kangaroos against the team of Thunderbolt Patterson & Tony Atlas know as Black Dynamite in the final Tag Team Titles tournament qualifier. Plowboy Frazier quickly becoming a fan favorite will be in action as will the always unpredictable Bugsy Mcgraw. And listen to this main event, Mr Wrestling 2 teams with Mr Olympia against the Super Destroyers. A victory by earns Mr Wrestling 2 one last chance to challenge The Grappler for the Mid-South North American Championship tomorrow night at the Superdome Extravaganza but a defeat means he can never challenge for the title again as long as The Grappler holds it. But before all that Ernie Ladd has arranged what he is calling a "tune up" for his Wild Samoans ahead of their participation in the tournament tomorrow night. FC: I've been waiting to see the Samoans tear someone apart since I got here! BP: Well Floyd you may get your wish right now. Let's head to the ring. (We cut to Reisor Bowden center ring) RB: Our opening contest is set for one fall with a 15 minute time limit. In the red corner from the Isle of Samoa with a combined weight of 645 lbs Ernie Ladd presents The Wild Samoans...And in the blue corner first from Treorchy Wales weighing 15 stone "UK Magician" Tony Charles...and his partner from Bradford England weighing 17 stone Scott McGee! The Wild Samoans w/"Big Cat" Ernie Ladd vs Scott McGee & "UK Magician" Tony Charles McGee & Charles try with all their might but are overwhelmed basically from the opening bell by the sheer savagery of the Samoans. Aside from the briefest of hope spots it's a one sided mauling that ends with a double headbutt to Charles. Ladd who was on commentary promises this is just the beginning as he's men will stack the bodies to the sky in route to the Mid-South Tag Team Championship & eventually the NWA World Tag Team Titles. In the red corner from Albuquerque New Mexico weighing 242 lbs Vinnie Romero...and in the blue corner from Pascagoula Mississippi weighing 468 lbs Plowboy Frazier! Vinnie Romero vs Plowboy Frazier Romero really irritates the crowd with his strutting around the ring & blowing kisses at the female fans. He keeps it up after the bell rings by stalling as much as possible & trying a hit-and-run strategy. Eventually however Frazier uses his size to corner Romero and really pounds on him to the delight of the crowd. After a few minutes of this Frazier finishes up with a leg drop which gets impressive height for a man his size during which he let's out a "yeeee" which the crowd joins in on. Humperdink swears it'll take more than "a couple of muscled up statues" to keep him men from the tag title tournament just as it'll take more than "that preening milksop" to keep Bob Roop from the Louisiana Championship. With that Hump leads his men to the ring) RB: This match is set for one fall with a 15 time limit and is a qualifing match for the Mid-South Tag Team Title tournament. In the red corner from Australia...representing the House of Humperdink...Sir Oliver Humperdink presents..."Lord" Jonathan Boyd & George Barnes...The Royal Kangaroos! And in the blue corner from Atlanta Georgia weighing 242 lbs Thunderbolt Patterson...and his partner from Roanoke Virginia weighing 275 lbs "Mr USA" Tony Atlas...They are Black Dynamite! The Royal Kangaroos w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs Black Dynamite. A hard hitting affair that threatens to break down several times. The momentum swings back and forth but it seems the deciding factor may be the presence of Sir Oliver Humperdink who as referee Dick Kroll is breaking up a brawl between Boyd & Atlas throws a pair of brass knuckles to Barnes. When Barnes goes for the K.O punch Patterson grabs his hand takes the knucks off puts them on his own hand & lays out Barnes. Bugsy Mcgraw vs Ric McCord A very physical display by Mcgraw who really works over McCord. Mcgraw looks extra aggressive tonight putting McCord away with the standing splash. I've beaten this fool all over the territory but he keeps coming back like a bad rash. Well tonight my men The Super Destroyers will rid me of this irritant once and for all allowing me to finally focus on taking my rightful place on top of the wrestling world. As we're coming up on the end of tv time The Super Ds pull the old switcheroo & SD2 nearly pins Olympia with a surprise inside cradle. He then sends Olympia into the ropes but as he ducks down for a back body drop MW2 blind tags in & hits the knee lift for the win. Pierce & Creatchman hype MW2's last chance to challenge for the Mid-South North American Championship. They hard sell the Superdome Extravaganza one more time as we head off the air. T&Z retain against Dark Journey's men. Magnum gathers steam ahead of Beach Brawl by pinning Duker in a big 6 man then becoming "King of the hill" On to Alabama. Surf's Up sounds like a perfect gimmick for these smaller shows. The Highwaymen make The Hangmen unnistan who they're dealing with. Steve Armstrong couldn't overcome the teamwork of Ron Bass & Miss Betsy.

Bugsy Mcgraw defeats "UK Magician" with a standing splash. "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd defeats "Timekeeper" Mike George with a big boot. Louisiana Championship "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin defeats Sika w/"Big Cat" Ernie Ladd by dq when Sika wouldn't stop attacking Garvin in the corner to answer the referee's 5 count. Magnum & Cooley win the First Blood tag match thanks to Buddy! That should put Wildcat's mind at ease. Aaaaannd Budro cheats in the main event. Is it instinct? Force of habit? Either that gets eclipsed by the batshit insane aftermath. Fujinami is out of the I.H.o.H & gets beat on before being saved by...The Dirty White Boys! Birmingham must've been going crazy.

He's able to blitz the big man for a bit but as soon as OMG lands the first big shot Funk's momentum crashes to a halt. So we were all glad to hear Western States announce its Labor Day Spectacular. It was announced that Commissioner Dusek was in negotiations to have every major NWA title defended & I'm proud to report that negotiations have proven successful. While Eric Embry is already contracted to Western States meaning there was never going to be a problem having the World Jr Heavyweight Championship defended. I can report that the NWA World Tag Team champions whomever they may be will be present as will the winner of the rematch between reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nikita Koloff & former champion Magnum T.A. Butch Reed says what we're all thinking regarding the "mysterious" Masked Yankee & promises to put Strong down as payback for his shenanigans. The North American title tournament gets two huge qualifing matches as Uncle Ivan takes on Bruiser Brody & Bad News takes on The Soul Man! Guess The Patriots & The Red Assassins couldn't wait till bell time. One of the most anticipated moments in the game has finally arrived, the debut of...Damian! Plus the Shiek seems to have found his final recruit. The Patriots end a chaotic episode on a high note as they earn a shot at the Masked Superstars Mid-South Tag Team Titles. Should be fun. T&Z get a much needed tune up before their four corners title defense. Birmingham is due a massive show! The Dream vs Blackjack in a Bunkhouse match. Beach Brawl is gonna be bloody! Budro being his usual funny self only this time fans feel free to laugh along. Then he brings Cooley out to apologize before "Mr Continental" ruins the moment by...making a compelling argument? And then he talks Buddy into giving Cooley a rematch BEFORE his own? WHAT!? Then Budro cheats in the main & Stubbs is the good samaritan trying to point it out? I can't tell what the fuck is going on but I can't wait to find out.

Vega off to a nice start. The Von Erichs arrive in Tennessee...and get boo'd outta the building! The not so subtle favoritism won't help. Mongolian Stomper vs Roy Lee Welch is the clear centerpiece of the Heavyweight title tournament. Madril continues to pick up steam. Still weird to see him as a face. J-Tex Corp looks like a proper army of bastards. Especially with the addition of Kabuki. Devastation Inc has a couple of Texas terrors in Brooks & Spoiler. Roop capitalizes by grabbing Snuka & ramming him shoulder first into the corner post then running him across the ring to ram him into the opposite corner post before synching in the Double Wristlock. Snuka holds on as best he can & ultimately it's referee Dick Kroll who calls for the bell to prevent permanent injury. I think Charland will find "Rugged" Ron to be suitable competition. Larry Z brings in Giant Haystacks! Yes! Granted they lose but they get their point across. Superstar vs The King on Labor Day. Mid-South Coluseam just sold out. Tiger Jeet Singh is back! If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself. Here's hoping they settle it before Colon goes completely insane! Soviet Steel spoils the debut of the Union but now they've gotta deal with the Olympians. Snuka absorbs the loaded headbutt! I don't blame Dream Machine & Paul Jones for bailing. Great job bringing Memphis chaos to AWA crowds.

Things get crazy on the first show of World Class & Fritz has to lay down the law. Gary has quite the intimidating trio already. I'm not familiar with Kimura but if he's with Hart he's not the kind of guy I want to mess with. Between Young & Brooks Akbar is off to a solid start himself. Rock Riddle is another name I'm not familiar with but he clearly doesn't tolerate failure. Kinda weird seeing Haku as a face. David with win in the main event making pops proud. World Class hitting the ground running!

First Alabama Clean sweep for I.H.o.H, I see gold in their future. Am I the only who considers it a testament to Dark Journey that neither of her men can win without her? Pretty good loop for the Armstrongs. Duker & Gaylord must've been a hard-hitting opening Great job connecting the semi & the main, speaking of what a huge win for Bass! On to Mississippi The Hangmen are good upper card heels on these smaller shows. Dark Journey cements her status as a good luck charm by helping her newest client Rip Oliver. She's getting quite the group together. Poor Johnny & Davey, Winning the Tag Titles would've gone a long way to earning that 100k. Oh well. Nice to see CCW running 2 shows again.

I can see the Mid-South fans being confused by The Rebel. I wonder how long George will be suspended for? Hopefully Tatum will serve as a warning to the other heels of Mid-South, Leave Precious alone! U.S Steel gets the crowd pleasing win in the anthem match. I gotta feeling that as bad a time Hayes had against Williams tonight, it STILL won't compare to what Gordy. Ladd & Allen are gonna have something to say about that finish for sure. Shiek gets a asswhooping to end all asswhoopings...but may have a lead on the missing piece in his Army. Let's call this a mixed bag. Mid-South with quite the homecoming!
