    AEW TV Megathread

All In should have been the complete end of Deathriders stuff, or at least take a full month or two off. Not into keeping it going immediately after. Let Mox finally take that vacation he's been talking about since 2022. Neither Hanger or Mox should be in the ring the next show after that match. Some of the stuff teased going forward is interesting, though: Bucks in the Don Callis Family, Swerve vs Okada
  2. Evolution was def the best WWE PPV of the year by far. They might have to do these quarterly just to bring up the PPV quality for the rest of the year. Or they might go another 7 years for showing up the men so much, who knows. HHH did start the post show with again repeating he didn't think there was a need to do another show because the women regularly headline shows. Which is a fucking crazy thing to say after how hot and good the show was. "Do we really need to do another thing like this that people asked for for 7 years and had a crazy hot crowd and best show of the year? Idk, guys. I mean the first one was also probably the best show of the year and had a crazy hot crowd. Idk tho."

    AEW All In 2025

All timer good vibes PPV. Can't even think of one that felt the same. AEW is delightful and thank goodness it exists.
  4. All I saw was Goldberg's entrance with Doug and The Cat and that man looked miserable and very injured just walking. Luckily sounds like no one got hurt in the match.

TK, I know you lurk here you fuck. Get the rights to My Sacrifice and air a Hanger Desire vid on the go home Dynamite.
  6. WWE would absolutely love to have her pop up in the crowd in NXT unnamed, then rename her and do nothing with her for months just to do it because they seem to think it is somehow really sticking it to AEW or something. Tony fumbled chants looking real funny in the light when Starks has been in NXT feuding with fellow AEW guy Page for 3 months and any and all hype over him has completely evaporated.
  7. I could have sworn there was a Britt Baker come back promo or vignette not long ago and nothing came from it.

A year or two from now Jungle Jack's contract is going to expire, WWE is going to hire him, and HHH is going to force a Punk/Jack storyline if Punk hasn't been injured and gone by them.

Fun as hell show. Hope it is a yearly event.
  10. WWE should have had Bruno in a match, be it singles or tag or battle royale, once Bruno/WWE reunion happened, and at the time Bruno was doing old man body building shit and somehow shredded at like 75.
  11. What kind of fucking psycho would come back after watching a Corgan NWA show
  12. Why the fuck would Roku be interested in uploading any Corgan NWA either tho
  13. Most of it it was fine. I was pleased to see Gable/Vikingo doing more lucha grapple/submission fuckery instead of more head scissors and arm drags lucha. I also popped they randomly did an Awesome/Tanaka spot near the end of lucha vs sports entertainment match. Felt much more like a WWE show than a AAA show, but AAA has also been dogshit for like 20 years. Really could have used lucha party crowd lighting, though. Actually the one talent that stood out the most to me was Je'Von Evans. Once he puts on some bulk, that young man is going to be big match heavyweight Ospreay tier fast.

They already have ads on the tables on PPVs. It's gonna get real gross corpo real fast under TKO. Just cut corners every quarter to get the numbers to look better on paper with no care or pride in the product being produced, which is pretty much how every company in America works. But post TKO merger they've really been speedrunnning it. I would imagine a bunch of office and crew people are going to be cut soon like with what happened to UFC a couple years back.

HHH picked Truth and Carlito because they had to cut some money....and then they immediately pulled Truth's top selling shirt from the merch store. Not even just let it sell out of stock. Just pulled it. He's not even gone from the company yet! I guess the 25 people cut 2 months ago didn't make the numbers look good enough.

I don't think it was unprofessional, just looked like an accident that surprisingly doesn't happen more often with that move.
  17. TK giving an extended shout out to DVDVR and even mentioning DEAN~!!!!!! shows in the post show scrum. Pleasant.
  18. I was sports entertained. I think the only thing that was iffy was FTR vs DC/Nigel tag and that seemed mostly because Nigel was either gassed or rocked or both about half way through the match making the back half seem real awkward. Undisputed vs Callis Fam probably could have been cut just to make the show a little shorter, but also there needed to be some kind of buffer match between Anarchy and the main. One of my favorite tropes in modern wrestling is hitting moves of your heated rivals as last gasp hail mary shots. All In gonna be fucking loaded with Toni/Mercedes, Hanger/Mox, presumably Omega/Okada.
  19. It's fucking disgusting that they're trying to portray getting a guy all fucked up to work a match that no doubt contributed to his death as a good thing and letting him go out on his shield shit. You thought it was unbelievable to have someone as carny or more in 2025, yet here we are.
  20. Weird considering they kept all Benoit stuff across ECW/WCW/WWE for the entire run of actual WWE Network and into Peacock era when it was all much fresher in the consciousness.
  21. Decent show really. I have questions about things like Jeff Cobb being immediately inserted into Bloodline 3.0 storyline despite being one of two guys from that region of the globe not related to this family. And why Gunther goes from the 600+ day NXT UK title run to 600+ day IC run to Summerslam to WM world title run to the follow up being a competitive match with an announcer. Not that it wasn't a pretty solid match and I think Pat actually does get it more than Logan Paul, but just....Gunther specifically as the talent he is and how he's been pushed to do an announcer match seems strange to me. Could have easily and probably could use a 3 month break and then come back for another start of a dominant run. Somehow Cena/Orton wasn't the absolute dogshit I was expecting and was better than Cody/Cena by a lot despite being 80% one or both hitting RKOs and AAs.

Also, Excalibur dropping a Gus Macker reference popped me on a core level I could never have expected.

Tbh, when AEW is at its best, it is probably the best weekly show to ever exist. It's the best of Memphis, of WCCW, of Mid South, of ECW, of Attitude Era, of JCP, of pre Russo WCW, with puro and lucha. Of ROH and IWA MS. TK is a real sicko who has seen and gets what makes good wrasslin tv from many generations all in once show. Delightful that it exists. I hope he lurks here as if it were DVDVR or CZW Fans. Big dawg gets it.
  24. I love being able to easily watch Takeshita on weekly TV basis with little issue legal or not, but NJ really would benefit a lot more than AEW with Takeshita as a top guy for the rest of the year. He's maybe the best guy in the world right now and for the past year or so, but NJ is in real dark age shit again and Takeshita being great in NJ main events is going to do more for NJ than having great TV matches on American TV.
  25. There's also Which I gather is Vince took a lower offer from Endeavor than what Saudi offered because it would allow him to stay on the board.
