I think it is time for them to pull the trigger on Kurt Angle and put him in a limited Jericho role. After brainstorming with JT about who will appear at Mania, he is the only past wrestler I think would pop the crowd and be able to work the hard style.

I don't know what to think about Mania this year. Not excited that Cesaro is injured. I have mixed feelings about Bryan returning. I actually dont mind Cena and Orton being injured. I am actually looking forward to the Taker match after the little Brock renaissance this past fall. If they go Roman vs HHH then that would be unbelievably sad for me and the money I spent for tickets.

But he wasn't too small 2, 3, 4, 5 years ago. Punk and Bryan's success changed everything. Anyway, listening to Meltzer, he said that AJ is not working anymore ROH dates. Gallows and Anderson are going to work some dates. Nakamura is staying in NJ for the time being.

The reality is... it doesn't matter if he wins or loses. The WWE has proven that nothing matters. They can take a year of horrible booking and change it around in 2 nights (Roman Reigns). They can take great moments (Punk's MITB, Bryan's path to the title) and turn it into shit. If they want Cena-Taker to work, it will work. As a match, it is the only Taker match that remotely appeals to me, win or lose.

Hey, if the Spurs take the title away from the Warriors this year, I can love with being called the Kevin Nash of basketball. Multiple time champion, low ratings. Whoa whoa whoa. NO! The Spurs have played beautiful basketball for years and years. Theyve done it with guys in their prime, super young uproven guys, older washed up players, etc. They've done it offensively. They've done it defensively. Theyve done it by playing down low in the paint. They've decimated teams with small ball 3 ball lineups. If you wanted to say they're like Buddy Rose with each Ring representing one of the year's Buddy was the best in the world I could get down with that. The low ratings could even be compared to Buddy working in a smaller territory or people just not paying attention because they were distracted by shinier lesser objects elsewhere. I mean, how are the Spurs ratings in San Antonio? I bet people there are watching just not the rest of the country. The run in New Japan is the loss to the Heat and the run in WWWF the win against the heat (higher profile situations, NJ run not a big success, WWWF run a big success relative = 26million viewers in the finals). So that's a wrestling comp I'd be happy with. Fuck all this Kevin Nash shit. Buddy Rose was never world champ. You can call Buddy Rose 7 seconds or less Phoenix Suns.

On the last DA show, we were talking about who could appear at Mania and somebody brought up that Kurt Angle has wrestled his last match for TNA. I could see WWE allowing Angle to come back for a match against Sheamus or Del Rio as the American who has to take on the foreign legion and then give him a Jericho deal where he works house shows or something.

Corbin doesn't have the star power or presence to face Taker. I like the sentiment but it wouldn't work... at all.

I think Sarge is locked in. While I enjoy Sarge's matches, I am not in love with Sarge as a worker. If Phil Schneider calls me up and says lets watch this Sarge match, I'll watch it but I don't go out of my way looking for his matches. He just isn't one of my guys. With that siad, he kept rising on my final list. Andre is in and I have him pretty high. DDP is out. I think HBK is in. Dusty is not in even though i look forward to Dusty more than i look forward to HBK matches.
