  1. I am only on the women's tag, but I will not be watching Kofi/Orton. Underwhelming show so far. Revival/New Day easily the best I've seen so far, but nothing great.
  2. I'm doing a Clash of the Champions blog (though it doesn't seem like many people are joining me). It appears like only the mother of the front row mother/son duo is in attendance, so even the crazy diehards are skipping out. https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/09/wwe-clash-of-champions-91519.html Edit: Saw my dude there after the cruiser match, all is fine

    WWE Summerslam 2019

I didn't get to start this show until WAY late in the day, so I haven't even read through everybody's thoughts (I don't actually know what any of the consensus thoughts are on this show, so I'm excited to skim through and see), but I thought it was top to bottom really really good! I did skip Owens/Shane and Orton/Kofi just because I wanted to finish it last night and had limited time, but I loved Gulak/Lorcan, loved Lesnar/Rollins, loved Styles/Ricochet, and at minimum had a good time with literally everything else. I always forget these shows practically as soon as they happen, but this felt like the best top to bottom show in a long time. https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/08/wwe-summerslam-81119-not-at-all-live.html
  4. I keep forgetting these damn things start at like 3 PM now, but I started a review blog for the show: https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/07/wwe-extreme-rules-71419-blog.html Excited for Gulak to crush Nese, Revival/Usos, and some other stuff that could surprise.
  5. Also, I'm doing a live blog of the Evolve 131 show on WWE Network, super excited for Gulak/Riddle, no idea where to post the link so I'll just put it here: https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/07/evolve-131-10th-anniversary-special.html
  6. NEW has quietly drawn some of the biggest American indy attendance numbers of the last decade. They have done some big shows and had some really great matches. Hardys/Young Bucks from 2014 is probably my favorite tag match of the decade. Lawler is a regular but they always bring in fairly big names and the cards have decent variety. I'd go.

    WWE Hidden Gems

As Matt covered, most of them are under the New Footage Fridays tag, but tags only go back the last 20 or so posts which is not ideal. Now that I know there is interest I can work on a New Footage Fridays Master List that will have every match in the series listed by year. But there's also unseen footage we've written about that wasn't under the NFF banner, so damn, so eventually I'll need to do a full site master list. But my god the scope of that.
  8. I skipped over the final two matches, and didn't like the two before that, but I had a blast with the first two hours of this show. Drew and Tozawa did a ton of cool things in the opener, I liked Lynch/Lacey, and really liked all of the Heavy Machinery. I've been really excited to see some Otis vs. Bryan, and they did not disappoint.
  9. I always seem to end up enjoying these PPV cards that look like totally underdeveloped or have no buzz. It gives them a good chance of overdelivering. I'm behind on my live blog as I had to finally set up my PS4 lol. They finally forced my hand by dropping WWE Network support for the PS3, though I bet my stream runs with less glitches now. This PPV rules out of the gate for making me genuinely happy with Gulak's title win. More Drew! https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/06/wwe-stomping-grounds-live-blog-62319.html
  10. Spent a day at my folks hearing my mom tell the same stories a dozen times with no break for breath, figured I would still try to write up as much of the TakeOver as possible before I zonk out. Pretty hot start with Riddle/Strong: https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/06/nxt-takeover-xxv-6119.html
  11. The Cesaro/Ricochet match had some absolute freak show athletic moments. They need to have a TV match that fun every week, and it wouldn't be hard.
  12. Kalisto's arc is pretty tough to beat, but I think the Andrade/Balor bump was crazier on both guys' ends
  13. Has there been a crazier WWE spot this decade than Andrade's powerbomb on Balor?
  14. I forgot the PPV was tonight! I thought it was next week. But I'm writing up the show now. Bryan/Rowan tag was disappointing! https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/05/i-forgot-wwe-money-in-bank-was-today.html

  16. Actually finished NXT (and really liked it), decided to do a Mania live blog: https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/04/wrestlemania-35-live-blog-4719.html I really liked the first few minutes of Buddy/Nese. Until they got too Riverdance.
  17. Starting writing up the show over at SC, and there are a ton of matches on this card that could deliver. That opening Rusev/Nakamura tag was definitely not one of them. I'm most excited for Mandy/Asuka, but this could be a strong in ring PPV. https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/03/wwe-fastlane-31019-live-adjacent-blog.html
  18. Alright WWE, how many Rey/Eddie house show matches do you have taped and in the can, and how many unseen Berzerker matches are there? SHOW ME YOUR CONTENT!
  19. I would have expected Golga to be picked up by deep cut indy fat guys the same way Doink was for the smaller set, but it never really did. Seemed like fat guy in brown mask wearing a South Park shirt could have still been getting good reactions in mid 2000s Arkansas.
  20. A cool kind of forgotten TV match I really loved was Big Show & Mark Henry vs. Harper & Rowan from a few years ago. I wish we had a series of those matches. https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2014/08/2014-ongoing-match-of-year-list_18.html
  21. Damn comparing a dude I like to Ziggler feels like the most hateful low blow. Couldn't you have just made a couple disparaging remarks about my mother?
  22. Yeah if there were a popular culture catch phrase like "Good Sell" or "Mr. Pinball" that comparison might make more sense. I think it's a pretty clever lucha pun made out of slang.
  23. Even if they didn't push him as a main eventer, they could have Hardy as a special attraction singles match that's totally separate from any AEW title picture, and he'd draw a good crowd in towns where nobody has heard of Kenny Omega. Hardy is bulletproof to a ton of fans, one of the most dedicated fanbases of my entire wrestling fandom. I honestly think he can coast on his fame for as long as he looks like Jeff Hardy. I think his popularity and style basically makes him the highest ceiling Sabu as a draw.
  24. Hardy has added a lot of ticket sales to indy shows. He might not be a standout draw on AEW's big shows, but he's definitely a big "small town" draw that would bring a totally different ticket buying class to AEW.
  25. I'm just now starting the pre-show match as we were watching our niece and nephew (and bummed they aren't more interested in watching professional wrestling), but I'm doing a blog asI watch: https://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2019/02/wwe-elimination-chamber-running-behind.html
