  1. Sid targets another of Smith's in laws to send a message but it backfires as Smith slams him again. The Alliance looks to clear the board at the Clash. Why do I get the feeling that Rougeaou/Border Patrol vs Pillman/igante isn't quite the handicap match the heels think it is?
  2. Wow, Scotty's really got Stevie trained. The Thrillseekers win the trios tag titles ferda Brigande!
  3. There's a Tidal Wave coming to Champagne Slam. The Hangman could be looking at quite the harvest coming up soon. I was a little sarcastic last week but The Bunkhouse Boys challenging Garvin & Slater should be a fun brawl. All Norton's power couldn't keep Burke from advancing. Konnan survives battling a Tiger on his quest to bring the World title to Mexico. Great promo exchange between Morrow & Hogan to close out the show. 8. BPB receives, and blows, one final chance at the TV title. and the Cuban makes another attempt but Morton was prepared this time. Speaking of whom, Morton has a full plate ahead of him as the battle Royal next week crowns a new #1 contender while he finally faces Wild Dog on the 27th.
  9. The landscape is changed by the reveal that Hogan WILL be taking part in the tournament. While we now have a somewhat obvious pick for winner, i'm not looking past the Modern Day Warrior. Jackie's quick thinking has Iceman not only advancing in the tournament, but over the TV champ to boot. Gee I wonder who the tag champs are facing next? Canek would love nothing more than to take the AWA World title back to Mexico. Jumbo is another guy to keep an eye on.
  10. Things are steadily heating up between the Freebirds and the Express. Paule E with a nice callback in the threat to Nikita. DDP finally stepping into the ring but he gets the toughest draw possible with Sting. Davey Boy showing he can slam Sid gives a fans one hell of a hopespot.
  11. Originally airing 3/11/91 on HBO The Bolsheviks defeat High Energy in a match from last month's RAW tapings. Ware had Zhukov up for the "Ghostbuster" but Koloff swept the leg and Zhukov landed on top. Snuka & Andre beat Pete Sanchez & John Martin in a match from RAW. We see a Texas Outlaw interview from a recent taping. Funk says Fernandez and Bart settled their differences "the Outlaw way" at SNME and tells them to shake hands and he wants Bart to admit that Fernandez was the better man. Bart says what Fernandez did was a "dadgum disgrace" saying you don't use cheap tricks against your teammates. Fernandez fires back he won like any true Outlaw would have, by any means necessary. Funk is getting irritated and says he told them to settle this. Bart says the only thing that was settle is that Fernandez "ain't man enuff to be me straight up". Fernandez start shouting, then shoving then they start throwing punches! Funk gets pissed and intervenes....by nailing Bart with a clothesline! He and Fernandez stomp on Bart until Murdoch pulls Funk away and asks what he's doing. Fernandez goes to back up Funk but Funk tells him to cool it. Funk, Fernandez and eventually Murdoch walk away leaving Bart laying. Col Debeers plants some guy with his fact first Piledriver. The Berzerker gets one of his patented countout wins. Mean Gene's at Toys R Us with Tugboat. Dan Spivey damn near sends Disco Inferno through the mat with the Powerbomb. Feature Match Haku w/Sherri defeats Wahoo McDaniel with the "Tongan Death Grip"

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs Col Debeers ends in a double countout. The Ultimate Warrior defeats Jake "The Snake" Roberts by countering the DDT into a backbody drop and hitting his splash. Roberts jumps Warrior from behind and beats him down for a bit before trying the DDT again only to have warrior counter again this time lifting him up and dumping him over the top rope. 3/10/91 Hartford Civic Center Memorial Coliseum, Hartford, Connecticut Andre won a battle Royal to challenge for the WWF Championship in the Main Event. "Thrilling" Tom Brandi defeats "Canadian Roughneck" Kerry Brown with a sunset flip off the top rope. Bad News Brown defeats "Dangerous" Dan Spivey w/Slick by DQ when Slick was caught tripping Brown. Brown tried to get his hands on Slick but Spivey intercepted and the two brawled to the back. WWF Tag Team Championship. The Ronin defeat The Bolsheviks with "Sennpuku". WWF Championship Andre the Giant defeats Terry Funk(c) by DQ when Funk hit Andre with the branding iron out of desperation. Funk laid into Andre some more with the iron before Tito Santana ran down and the brawl that broke out allowed Andre time to recover and together the two faces drove Funk from the ring. With no other Outlaws in the building, Funk decided that desecration was the better part of valor and retreated leaving Santana & Andre to celebrate in the ring sending the crowd home happy.
  13. Pretty in Pink is reeling after some big losses but it seems Tasha wasted no time bringing in a New heavy hitter.
  14. I'm actually using the Nightmares. Also Damien Demento & Don Calis are on my roster and I don't know why.
  15. Rose finally issues an ultimatum to Scotty & Stevie, shape up or ship out. I wonder how long before he turns his attention to Candido? Guido has really turned the tide in his series of matches against Scorpio.
  16. So with Hogan on the shelf, I guess that means no one is getting a bye. On the bright side that means we get a full first round of action. Boss man throws the book at Chavo Classic. With the Horsemen seemingly broken up, Michaels decides to focus on himself and the world title. How sweet of Brenda to bring back the beauty shop just so her bestie could have a platform. Adnan shows how big a help having your second present can be. Muraco looks for a Magnificent moment at Champagne Slam.
  17. Love the Steamboat-Hennig through line for all three episodes. Paul E thought he'd found a loophole that would get the belt back but instead we get 30 minutes of uninterrupted wrestling featuring two of the best in the game. Davey Boy will be the next one to step to the man who rules the world. Can even his power pry the title from Sid's grasp? Doom is truly high on themselves if they're issuing an open challenge. In my experience these tend not to go well for the champions. Rocn n Roll is back in WCW and the Freebirds are already starting something.
  18. Originally airing 3/4/91 on HBO. In a match from a recent RAW taping, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake defeats Greg "The Hammer" Valentine with "A little off the top". Split screen promo sees Beefcake say the King's crown is the only thing that can make his strut look even better. Mean Gene's Update recaps the tournament from the recent WWF event in Boston in which Billy Jack Haynes won the right to challenge for the IC title at Mania. "Dangerous" Dan Spivey w/"The Doctor of Style" Slick defeat Disco Inferno with the powerbomb. Commentary mention that Slick's lawyers seem to be having no luck removing the stipulation from Spivey's match with Bad News Brown at Mania. Slick may have to step into the ring yet. The Nightmares squash from RAW is shown. The Bushwhackers whack a pair of nerds. Mean Gene gives the WrestleMania VII. He mentions that the Texas Outlaw camp has been unusually quiet after the events of SNME. A match from Wrestling Challenge sees Sensational Power manhandle two nobodies. The Nasty Boys promo from a recent taping is shown. They challenge The Fantastics to step into their world at Mania and meet them in a New York Street Fight. Jake Roberts plants some poor sap right on the top of his head. Split screen promo has Roberts say Warrior is the biggest game the WWF has to offer and at Mania his venom is bringing everybody's hero down. Feature Match. Dynamite Kid defeats "Canadian Roughneck" Kerry Brown w/"Le Commandant" Frenchy Martin after Martin's interference backfired.
  19. Sounds like a big card is coming to the armory next Friday. Wild Dog isn't letting go of the idea he's owed a title shot. Tasha continues to build her case. The ladies don't really get to show off but Morton brings home the win to keep the fans happy.

Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) w/"The Guiding Light" Capt Lou Albano defeat The Nightmares with the "Stinger". Finals Billy Jack Haynes defeats Chris Benoit. The Ultimate Warrior defeats Jake "The Snake" Roberts by DQ when Roberts slide out of a military press and hit Warrior with a low blow. Roberts grabbed a chair and went to hit Warrior who ducked and hit a flying shoulder block that sent Roberts into retreat.
  21. USWA takes things to the next level with the debut (return?) of TnT. And what a first episode. Who can the Steiners find to face Soul-less? Can the King tame Wild Bill? And what will happen when Wallstreet money meets Macho Madness?
  22. Things nearly boil over when Taktarov crosses a line. Maeda (hopefully) still manages to send the fans home happy.
  23. Okay, having to cut your TV short because Turner execs didn't realize the overlap with the PPV is classic WCW. As for WresttleWar.... Pillman's Giant equalizer allows him to hold onto the TV title. Hayes winning the elimination match without actually eliminating anyone cracked me up. R.I.P Bob Holly. The live crowd sees a good win for the Natural. Hall & Jannetty get their own showcases. Outside shenanigans between Dangerously & Dusty push Rude over the top against Koloff. I now Paul E was getting mega heat for cracking the Dream with that phone. Another successful defense for Doom puts Demolition at a crossroads. After another barnburner, Steamboat stands tall as the new US champion. Sting's Squadron wins Wargames but Sid puts Owen down to prove he still rules the world.
