He has that great series with LA Park. I love him in Lucha Underground, especially the Ultima Lucha match. If he would to make his way onto the list, he needs some more. How is his Puerto Rico run and the rest of his lucha run?

Damn the commentary is just so bad. EVOLVE has a huge advantage in that respect. I do like Caprice Coleman on commentary. Nana isn't bad either. I don't know what the schedule or price of Michael Schiavello (who called Ultima Lucha) is but I would be courting him if I was any kind of wrestling company. What a great breath of fresh air he was on that one show he did. Even Striker and Vampiro are way better than Kelly/Corino. There has to be some kind of lowly MMA or amateur wrestling announcer out there that could make a transition. Gosh the state of the announce booth is pretty shitty.

Jobber Trade anyone??? I have been using these guys as jobbers and then have done a lot of jobs. I'm looking to get some fresh jobbers in. Straight up one jobber for one jobber (or multiples of that) are wanted. However, we can talk about anything else. On the trading block: Rick Patterson Bob Marcus Joe Marcus Gary Royal Paul Christy Nick DeCarlo

If there is justice in the world WM 36 should be headlined by something like Bayley-Sasha and Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns or something more along those lines. It should be new headliners. The WWF needs a "New Generation" or "Attitude Era" type of movement that gets rid of old stars and focuses on new ones. EDIT: Main guys should be more like Apollo Crews, Chad Gable, etc.. it's time to move on from the old.

Observer HOF prediction/ballot question thread

Probably the Young Bucks If the Young Bucks get in and it took the Rock 'n' Roll Express almost 20 years to get in, then I don't know what I will do, but I will be grumpy! -
Charlotte is a great athlete who is still new to the business. She has shown great potential to be carried and is more natural as a heel. Her working like Ric Flair has been a problem, but to say it's pure nepotism is bollocks. Too many good matches. She should still be in NXT working things out, but she could be really great in time.

Observer HOF prediction/ballot question thread

Let's be fair, there is a lot of people in the HOF should either not be in or went in way too early. Using the standard of who got in the past is an interesting topic. Ultimo Dragon is in, while Ken Patera got voted off the ballot. Looking at those two things, then I have no idea who anybody should vote for in the future. -

But you can't (allegedly) get into the WON HoF on work alone. And it's still entirely possible to judge draws. What else did Benoit get in on then? Also Bryan was a bigger draw than Benoit. -
Garvin and Hayes? Brandon are you going to nominate every team that every teamed?

http://placetobenation.com/super-extreme-vault-living-dangerously-99/ The Super Extreme Vault with Glenn, Marc and Steven head back into 1999 and look at Living Dangerously! Lots going on here as the FTW Title and the ECW World Heavyweight Title is unified in a match between Sabu and Taz. Who is the true baby face in this feud? It’s the debut of Steve Corino on pay-per-view! Is it the end of the beloved Full Blooded Italians? How does the Rob Van Dam vs Jerry Lynn feud hold up and what was up with the booking? We also get into match placement and how important it is, plus our end of the show awards. A fun packed extreme adventure! Don’t forget SID!!

How much does match order matter?
Grimmas replied to Cross Face Chicken Wing's topic in Pro Wrestling
I guess if you change all the rules around, neglect certain things, you can make the data support your point. -
So no botch can be awesome, everything has to go 100% to plan to be awesome? That sounds wrong to me.

It's not something they always do. In fact, statistically speaking, it's not something they usually do. Only three of the past ten Wrestlemanias put a break match before the last main event (always the Divas match, of course). And it hasn't happened at all on any PPV this year, unless you count the tag title match at Money in the Bank. The WWE tends to run at least two important matches back-to-back at the end of their big shows, more often than not. It's not something they always do. Only 26 and 24 actually have the last two matches being the most important. I guess if you discount the Hall of Fame as a buffer and somehow think the other title match is more important than the Taker match you could make the statement you did. -

WrestleMania X-8 a few months earlier had one as well and that seems to be the earliest case of co-main event, bathroom match, co-main event. Hogan-Rock seems to be the genesis of this stuff, which kind of makes sense. -

Talked about this on the Super Extreme Vault coming out today during the Living Dangerously '99 talk. They put their two junior high flying matches early and then did a bunch of brawls in a row leading to a brawling main event. Just makes the main event feel shitty. Spread this stuff out. They learn their lesson on later shows, but early ECW ppvs are hard to watch due to the match placement. -
Again I volunteer to take every open Minis date.

Martel above Steamboat, Parv? Last time we talked about this you said you had to put Steamboat higher.

Not me who nominated, just for the record. My 100 spot is going to be for a guy like a Sabu, Big Boss Man or Tenta. So yeah, he has a shot. One of the best fat guy wrestlers of all-time. He does all the little things perfectly. He flexes after a power move, even without muscles. All time great elbow drop and powerslam. He throws a dropkick. He is a master of wobbly selling. The great matches aren't there, but his performances are freaking great.
