I'm still amazed that a wrestling company can have an entire crowd chanted to fire somebody who doesn't even appear on screen and just brush it off. The whole crowd wanted Russo gone, yet they kept with him. Now, if he was great and you did that maybe... but it was Vince Russo.

WCW did quite well with more titles than the WWE currently has. It's not about reducing or increasing the belts, it's about booking then well.

Those damn shambles. If he didn't do them I could still be watching WCW Worldwide from Disney/MGM. Which in its early days before Nitro was quite entertaining. What are you talking about? Those shows were awesome after Nitro debuted. Random luchadores and other guys. So much fun.

Russo would had never booked that finish, because it was logical and entertaining and emotional. If he booked it there would had been nods to the booker and to it being fake and it would had killed NXT. Fuck him.

The casual television viewing audience would absolutely scoff at this show. And, I don’t care it you give it SEVEN MILLION stars—it would never draw on a national level and that’s all that matters. And, if these young kids aren’t going to draw HERE—they certainly aren’t going to draw THERE. Personally, I don’t care how the finish of the match was booked because I simply don’t care enough. Whoever is in charge hasn’t made me care enough. Today [the finish] will be all right because it was NXT. Many will even try to make sense out of actually STOPPING a fight that wasn’t REAL to begin with. It’s called “the spin”? How you chose to make something look either “good”, or “bad” depending on your preference, or opinion. Well, here’s my spin on the finish of last night’s man event match between Sammy Zayn and Kevin Owens. Ready? Good. IT SUCKED. Vince Russo is the worst. He knows nothing about wrestling at all. Everything he booked is shit. Every opinion he has is shit. I fucking hate him. He ruined me watching the WWF. He ruined WCW. He ruined TNA and he ruins everything he touches. Fuck him.

I was really enjoying booking the WWE at the start of the year, but I hated how shitty the WWE was doing! I got so annoyed at their booking of the Rumble, that I quit. It was fun though, so I wanted a new project. I really enjoyed lots of parts of WCW from the beginning of Nitro till it's closing date. However there was a LOT of issues. What I am going to do here is do my spin of WCW. A lot of the main stuff will stay in place with maybe a slight twist. There will be some major changes though, as I see fit. However nWo, Sting-Hogan at Starrcade will remain in tact. I'm not changing everything, just having some fun in a realistic manner.

Roman Reigns was always going to bomb on the live crowd. He is nowhere near ready for the main event scene. Im not a Reigns hater but if he the supposed god saviour of WWE for the next decade pushing him now to the main event scene is the wrong thing to do. Some of the decisions WWE come up with is crazy considering the fans are the ones who make a wrestler. Maybe in the future they do a voting system. Let the fans vote for who should win the Rumble. We all know its pre determined well us adults do so there be no harm in us voting for who we want to win. Please stop posting while drunk. Whats wrong with a voting system? Least then the fans get what they want. Ive seen plenty of fans crap on a match because their favourite didnt win. This place doesn't need gimmick posters. Grow up or go away. I really dont see how my comment is in need of growing up or going away. There are plenty of sulky fans at the moment just because their fav didnt win. Dont really see how you can warrant a post like that. What is so wrong with a voting system because at the end of the day the fans would get what they want. A voting system?????? Could you imagine watching a movie and we vote whether the good guy wins in the end or not? NO? BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING MORONIC!

This one is close. What is funny about this whole thing is that there is like 25-50 guys that you could argue are better than Arn. I named twenty, but I could had named a lot more. Parv is just being silly. As for Tully vs Arn, I could be swayed either way. I prefer Arn due to like the role he played better than the role Tully played most of their careers. Arn is more serious, while Tully is more silly.

Thanks for the feedback, it's always fun to get together with Marc & Glenn. We have talked and after N2R '98 we will add in the year in review type shows that Parv & Chad do. 1998 will follow N2R and then the other previous years will be mixed in as we go along.

Can he retire already?

Edge always seemed like a guy who could have great feuds with anyone except the Matt Hardy angle when that spat happened. I loved all the matches these two had but after he whole Lita/Edge thing when they battled on Raw something just wasent there. Yeah, that Kane feud was freaking great, eh? I can't even think of one great Edge feud, let alone all of his feuds being great.

Well based off that gif it didn't exactly look like Hunter had more than a split second to react. Not enough time to say, "Hey, a bad wig!" Why not just hire Jeff Farmer to play a bogus Sting on TV? If Steve Borden is limited due to his contract just do some fake Stings from a distance to keep the character on TV. "As of late 2010, Farmer is project manager of a research program known as GEAR (Genetics, Exercise, and Research) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The program aims to identify how "people's genetic background influences their response to physical activity" Also using fake Stings to pretend Sting is there is silly. Fake Stings work as a tease, not as a substitute.

http://placetobenation.com/pro-wrestling-super-show-ecw-heat-wave-98/ Host: Steven Graham Guests: Marc Clair (Lions of Liberty) & Glenn Butler (Wednesday Walk Around the Web) The ECW crew is back going through all of the pay-per-views. We stop on the very famous Heat Wave ’98 this week. Does it live up to the hype?

Shit the more I watch the more difficult this will be. The top heap is still Funk, Hansen, Flair, Lawler, Jumbo & Kawada with Santo, Bret and Rey Jr. pushing up there. Maybe even El Dandy and Satanico the more I watch. Fuchi is now on my list, thanks to the 90's stuff. More minis will be added as well as some ECW guys. Scorpio and Tajiri are locks, but Bigelow, Sabu and Bubba Ray are guys I'd consider. My question remains, how high can I put Dustin Rhodes. I think I will be the high voter on him, but how high can I go?

I'm not going to go with Arn, but definitely the Regal match. As for Kid, off the top of my head for singles matches: vs Jerry Lynn (PWA, 5/17/91) vs Wellington Wilkins Jr. (PWA, 6/10/91) vs Sabu (NWA, 4/17/93) vs Bret Hart (WWF Raw, 7/11/94) and probably another Lynn match, but there is too many to chose from. I think those matches are as good as the best Arn singles matches, probably even better.

See the thread for the latest WTBBP. My argument for Waltman is that he is the greatest wrestler ever at timing high spots. His selling was absolutely top notch. Had an amazing move set and was great in a variety or roles. Arn is great, but was more steady while Waltman brings the variety. It's not a blow away win for Watlman, but I think it's damn close. Also he was pretty awesome from 1990 to 2002. That's not that short.

The problem is that Vince was so stupid that he didn't want to go with Bryan after what happened last year and had to cave again. Everybody knew Bryan was the right choice in the beginning.
