What are the very valid criticisms that can be applied to Rey working in the WWE?

What was happening in wrestling when you first started dating?
Grimmas replied to Sidebottom's topic in Pro Wrestling
The only change is watching wrestling more when my wife is busy (or out or at work) as opposed to every night. -
I'm too OLD to go with that philosophy. I think I am going to sit down and come up with a 2015 viewing schedule/gameplan.

It's what 3 1 minute ads and a backstage promo. The Hogan match stinks because of booking for No Holds Barred, but it would had stunk regardless due to the people involved. The rest of the show more than makes up for it.

Welcome Word Hoard, also nice to see another Torontion and Spider-Man fan!

I finally figured out what I hate about this 15 year rule, and it's not the 15 years that is the problem. It's the early eligibility. If you get put on at 30 and don't get in, you are thrown off at 45. 45 seems way too young to be taken off the ballot forever.

I heard a rumour that you don't have 1989 as a top two show? Well, on a future Rewind we looked at 1989 and had it in the top two, if not number one!

Thanks Chad, I think it was one of the strongest episodes in a long time. Here is a question for everyone, is there any other variations on another group or other variations you would like to hear?
-
Some would call that strategic though, I think that is Dylan's point. Strategic in a way that you don't like the style and are opposed to it, so Volk Han is not getting your vote.

Wouldn't it had been smart for Goldberg to squash jobbers and lower card guys, a few main eventers all year and go undefeated and then face Taker at Mania and lose? He could had been like 75-0 or something against the streak. Keep him away from the title and Hunter and just have him beat up the Rosey's, Hurricanes and Sylvain Grenier's of the world.

Dave clearly doesn't think reflection is important for the hall of fame. The way I see it is, that people should be post prime before they are on the ballot, or even later. What the heck is the rush to vote for Tanahashi while he is still a main eventer? Danielson/CM Punk, etc.. why can't we wait 5-10 years and see how they fit into history. At the minimum the criteria should be like the rock and roll hall of fame of 25 years after their first match.

That's the thing about Murdoch, he's talked about a lot, but has anyone actually done the research on him as a draw?

I praise your dedication to this project. My issue with wrestling is that I become so unfocussed. I start with a 80's set, then I want to watch minis, then current day stuff, then all ppvs in order, then all ppvs from 95 instead, then just Muraco matches. It makes the complete narrative of wrestling really confusing to say the least. I kind of want to pick something and go through it, for sure, but whether that's 80's, 90's an entire promotion, that is too hard to choose, so I just flip around things in the mean time.
-
It completely depends on how you define strategic. You can go as broad as I don't like lucha, so I won't watch any, therefore I won't vote for any. That is a strategic vote in a sense, and things like that will happen with most people from World of Sport, Shoot Style, Memphis to lucha.

More minis. Mascarita Dorada/El Torito seems like a lock at this point. Mascarita Sagrada I need to see more, but has a chance. Espectricito is the same as Sagrada. There are tons more though that need further evaluation, but look awesome in the bits I have seen including: Mini Abismo Negro and Demus 3:16.

I hope the point Parv was trying to make is that people on this site are more willing to watch the footage then to either go by memory or from what considered norms. The amount of times I see that Luger stinks or Michaels is easy number one of all-time on other sites is quite sad. Watch the footage, those things are not true.

That's the thing about this place, you can have any opinion you want, just back it up. If you think Kane is great, that is fine, just explain why and make a case. People attack this board, because they have an opinion that is unpopular here and get mad when others don't have that opinion. Often times they don't try to back it up or see another side, they are just mad that people don't agree with Meltzer.

My list with maybe Bret sneaking into the top 10 and Negro Casas, Satanico, El HIjo del Santo as potentials.

If you define rookie as a newcomer in a regular promotion, than he is a rookie. I am all for voting the way it's listed, as opposed to intended. Maybe it will make him change the rules in the future.

As a Mod I just want to point out that if you are warned numerous times to stop doing one thing and you continue to do it over and over again, then you run the risk of being banned. How many warnings do you think are fair, because whatever number you come up with, Rovert had more warnings than that.
