    This looked like a pretty good match and the finish was really hot. I did like the way Hase/ Sasaki operated as a team in this match and this was probably Kensuke biggest win to date.

    Seems like most enjoyed this segment but I think it is getting undersold as on the spectrum of campy WWF fun and Hennan getting humiliated, I would put this on part with the "wet weasel" stuff. Bossmans mom whacking him with the purse got the biggest pop out of me in the yearbook so far and I loved the delight the crowd had.

    One of the weirdest segments in WWF history. Everything seems to be played ad lib style and its like a SNL sketch you cant believe you are witnessing. I really think this took a turn for the bizarre when Lord Al got wheeled out and they were talking about his penis.

    Glad shoe mentioned Steph because I noticed that to. This is my least favorite pick the brain as bobby didn't have as good a response and the questioners really fumbled. Highlight was Vince's outfit.

    I like the feud with Sting but this struck me as the first big example of what I expect to be many of 1991 WCW booking blunders. I have no idea why Larry is calling out Flair when he was so quick to come to his rescue and be in the Wargames match just a couple of weeks before.

    TOns of stuff going on in this one. Macho's promo seemed a little subtle in the fact that he wasn't as "Macho King" as we have seen before. No scepter and his outfit looked like something from the slim jim era. He gives another good promo here. I also liked seeing the celebrities actually look comfortable in doing their spots to promote the show. One thing about this show is that on paper Valentine vs. Quake and Bulldog vs. Warlord look like filler matches so to speak but really besides the Bravo vs. KVE match, everything on WM 7 has gotten a bit of hype and made sense making them more than filler matches in the bigger context. This has been one of my favorite builds to a WM and it is a shame that they hastily booked the Coliseum making this show forever seen as a financial disappointment.

    Nice set of matches. That Eaton vs. Flair match really is a match that resonates with me. I think it is not well known but I certainly think one of the 2-3 best tv matches in WWF/WCW between 1990 and the 1994 yearbook. It also is a great match of "what could have been" with Flair still looking like the quiessential man and Eaton showing he could have really been at the least a great upper mid card singles guy that should have had lots of chances to shine in 1991 after Lane/Cornette bolted. Interesting that you were lower on Kobashi/Hansen. I have seen that match around 10 times and still think it is utterly fantastic and at worst the 3rd match of 1993. I also figured it would work better for most on a rewatch style based on the type of match it was. Haven't seen Taue vs. Kobashi in a while but am looking forward to it when I get to 1996 considering I am really starting to contemplate Kobashi as the GOAT based on the stuff I have rewatched of him.

    I would say the short list would consist of: 1. Hansen 2. Bockwinkel 3. Savage 4. Steamboat 5. Rose I think after this you get a mixture of guys I could see a little case for including Tully, Dibiase, Martel, Backlund, Gordy, Martel, Valentine, and even Slaughter but I wouldn't put them above the top 5 I listed. Posted originally before Loss responded but Hogan crossed my mind to. I do believe if you include the Japan stuff the US wrestlers did Hansen is the definitive fourth with the Tenryu series in 1988, the Hansen/Tenryu tags in 1989, Jumbo match in 1986, the Baba series, Backlund Series, Hennig series, Colon series, and the classic Andre match in 1981.

    Bumping this because I finished commenting on all the matches. I love coming back to this yearbooks around 90 days after completion and reflecting back on the memories and matches. Also cool to see a few new commenters going through the set right now.

    Really liked the main event and lesnar's selling was damn great. Pretty good PPV overall.

    Cena vs. Ryback - certainly rybacks best match. Good dramatic spots and the finish leaves a lot that can be done.

    Orton vs. Show - A match I think some may think was too slow and plodding but it was great and made a ton of sense. I also thought for sure Orton was losing after the RKO so I loved that we got him bringing back the punt to put Show away.

    Shield vs. Hell NO - Fun match with a ton of action and a great nearfall and save with the spear. Shield's finisher looked pretty damn good and I am glad they have the gold.

    Del Rio vs. Swagger- Best match of the night so far and they were working pretty stiff. Finish was great and kept everyone strong then took a turn into Looney Tune territory.

    Sheamus vs. henry - some interesting strategy with the strap and I liked Sheamus walking on the outside. Not enough strap shots though and I don't like Sheamus winning. Pretty good match but a tad disappointing overall.

    Ambrose vs. Kofi - Kofi annoyed the hell out of me tonight with his jumpy offense but the booking went about as good as possible so no complaints here.

    Miz - Rhodes was pretty fun with some body control work from Cody. Not bad for 5 minutes. Jericho vs. Fandango was pretty good and I liked the finish with Johnny Curtis trying to overcompensate and getting caught.

    I guess I'm a Hulk apologists as I am right there with him on these promos. I thought this was neat to watch.

    Have no idea how to rank this but it was certainly a memorable spectacle with people flailing all over the place and I'm still unsure whether the "fans" were plants or not. Funk vs. Lawler have had two very memorable if not technically great matches in 1991 so far.

    I wish footage of that Omni show would have surfaced. If Wargames was any indication a cage match between Flair and Sting could have been good. I WANT DA BELT. Gigante does look huge as he dwarfs Windham. I thought this brawl was pretty fun.

    The reintroduction of nikita has been a lot better than I would have figured. Dusty definitely has his fingerprints on all of this.

    Pillman gives a pretty spirited promo against Sid.

    I liked this. Texas was too overconfident and underestimated Gilberts taste for revenge now overcoming his want for the gold. Gilbert as a bloody fired up babyface was great.

    Really interesting promo with Jarrett wanting revenge but both Lawler and Gilbert not wanting to give up their shot at the belt. I don't know really where this is going.
