WWE TV 01/25 - 01/31 What's the pro wrestling equivalent of Mahomes vs Brady?
rovert replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Wrestlemania is on NBC for two nights this year. You have to expect WWE emphasising the old reliables and a couple of big celebrity tie ins. Personally expecting #30 to be Bray Wyatt in like a final boss role. #1 and #2 in the Women's Rumble to be Bianca and Bayley to further their storyline and so Bayley can carry most of the Rumble match. And that Alexa Bliss will enter three times utilising her recent alter egos. -
Part of the whole issue with Shanna were the tweets she Liked at the same time removed all doubt about where her thoughts laid.
-
It being Wrestlemania season and WWE being WWE I assume they will be fed to Drew like the League Of Nations were fed to Roman Reigns. They are a great group which is sad.
-
Expect Marty to land with IMPACT. There's no room at New Japan & AEW and WWE aren't interested. He's particularly persona non grata in WWE. He has very few options in general and he needs a work Visa to stay in the US. Also, he's "very heavy" currently.

Outside of Lee vs Drew Legends Raw was like a parody of a modern Raw.
-
His timing on the cane shot on national TV and under every other pressure was amazing too. Sadly a sizable amount of Brodie Jr. being taking in by the roster is that Amanda is simply devasted and exhausted by the last two months, unfortunately. Definitely keep her in your thoughts.

Nah he's super well-liked by his peers. Ricky Starks didn't have much time for Aldis either. Few do.

The holidays are a hard time for people in general. Plus COVID/lockdowns have given rise to issues like mental health and substance abuse. Also, retiring can make you lose your purpose in life. There have been red flags in Bruce's behaviour for about 2 years now also. Pat McNeil has been with Torch for about the same length as Bruce has: If Bruce needs help I hope accepts it. However, men and men of a certain age/generation are often too stubborn sadly. I hope he takes this weekend to clear his head and think about it.

2010 Bruce Mitchell would rake 2020 Bruce Mitchell over the coals so hard. Just so there's no confusion or ambiguity Cash is reposting Amanda Huber's (Brodie's wife) Instagram post.

You might need to compose yourself a bit after reading/listening but this is what Tony Schiavone said on this podcast:
-
Bruce is definitely not a WWE fan boy at all. Bruce's long-held position is that the entire Wrestling industry should have shutdown completely over COVID concerns.

WWE TV 12/21 - 12/27 Happy Holidays! Mario Odyssey is pretty fucking great!

His WWF name was Joe Bevins brought in for the October/November 1992 tapings He's a broadcaster to this day his Twitter is @joeaiellowpg. It was mostly a lark for him and is still a fan of Pro Wrestling and is tight with Don Callis. -
It is the whole unwritten book thing. Without COVID he was going to debut in New Japan in 2020 apparently as a Bruiser Brody inspired type act - like how Jon Moxley played off of Terry Funk. He really loved sports (baseball, football & hockey) and would phone into sports talk radio under his real name for years and years. Was friends with a lot of hosts. I've said in the past that post-WWE that I was expecting him to get into podcasting or traditional radio. He had already dabbled in film. Someone his size and look that could do stunts could always get "a role" in "a film" and get a SAG card. Even as just "Bodyguard #3" or being cast in a Batista, Cena or Rock blockbuster.

Again questions like this will be answered with time, patience and respect. Maybe it was a JUST a future storyline thread or a one scene BTE sight gag or Brodie knew something conscious or unconsciously?

I've never heard anyone publicly or privately bad mouth Stephanie. But Stephanie and Amanda largely just bounded over motherhood. I mostly know of Amanda via friends who would attend Florida Championship Wrestling events when Brodie Lee was in developmental. She would chat it up with fans endlessly and would bring snacks for everyone. A really, really person.
-
Stephanie and Brodie's wife Amanda are actually pretty close.
-
Yeah, the Mayo Clinic specialises in lung and lung cancer. It is the Sunday after Christmas, I'd imagine Florida's health service is pretty belaboured with COVID and that's before a general time-honoured process when it comes to the coroner and the autopsy obviously. Answers will likely take time and far longer that nonsense Bruce Mitchell article comprehends. Fans searching for answers picked up on in reflection how hard he was breathing in the last Being The Elite episode he shot (admittedly he was shouting and being generally active), also in that final episode he told Jon Silver he finally earned his respect it was like Brodie knew something and on his AEW Unrestricted podcast appearance on November 2nd he offhandedly remarked how difficult he found riding his Peloton bike suddenly was.

SirEdger I saw the news break and many hours on I am still struggling to process it. It reminds me of the impact Eddie Guerrero's passing had on me. Anyway, I haven't seen anyone disputing this or anything but still, I can't emphasise enough what a family man he was. Very much in the Owen Hart or Kevin Owens mold. His friends and peers aren't just being nice on that front because he passed here. A true tragedy. 2020 overall has been a true test of my and a lot of other people's fandom.

Flash has never wrestled for AEW. Dylan Bostic is a social media creation, not an actual wrestler.
-
I don't think being out of position a lot and being exhausted in matches is what he's going for.
-
Or he's a problem drinker and has aged greatly over the last year. On his recent appearance on a Shot of Brandi on Youtube, Chris said his wife recently banned him from drinking Vodka straight (his signature drink "Yeah Boy!" - Grey Goose on the rocks).
-
They are really confident on the mic for being 19 and 21 & not going through WWE developmental, running their mouth in front of (pre-COVID) live crowds 2-3 times a week for several years like MJF or Starks or anything like that.
-
I would have said the exact same thing until his recent match will Tom Lawlor on NJPW Strong. He really looked great in that.
-
I am honestly not entirely sure. He came up with Mavens, Jindraks and Lance Cades. He likely would have been fired for his personal problems without "a saviour" on the top of the card or in management pulling the strings.
