For whatever it is worth if you watch back pre-pandemic AEW Dynamite episodes in Spring 2020 AEW was on the cusp of *SOMETHING*. Obviously, we will never know and hopefully, they might get back to that again. But in terms of a buzz and youthful energy, there hadn't been anything like that since the Attitude Era.

He's signing with his best friend and girlfriend to be fair NXT has Cal Boom too. Wayne Bloom of Beverly Brothers/Minnesota Wrecking Crew fame too.

One of the most uncomfortable TV moments in or outside of Pro Wrestling I've ever witnessed is Ric Flair's WWE Hall of Fame speech when Ric mentions Arn and the camera lingers on a very uncomfortable Arn for FOREVER.

RIP. Jocephus played Bruiser Brody in this music video as he did on the indies for a solid spell.

Anyway today I was told today it wasn't it is anything health or injury-related. Creative/Vince is most likely the issue Meltzer was referring to. Keith has been backstage very recently.

A higher incidence of hypertension, diabetes etc I believe. I am open to correction. People with diabetes have the same risk as people without diabetes of getting COVID-19 but if you get COVID-19, you are more at risk of serious illness.

Drew and Keith Lee wrestled on the January 4th Raw. Before the Drew COVID announcement on January 11th. And things have been been the same with Keith since although he has made one or two on-screen appearances since. Also, that is the match where he dumped Keith's spine on the corner of the announce desk. It could be one or both things. Keith in his WWE Network 24 documentary said he had lost a significant number of family and friends back home in Texas due to COVID. And as a big African American dude, he might have more lingering issues from COVID than some of his peers in WWE who had it also.

Arn's wife and Ric's wife were really close. When Ric and Beth divorced around 2006 after 23 years of marriage Arn was "forced" to take Beth's side. That and being friends with Ric has a wear-out factor.

A lot of people online believe that Bad Bunny will cost Miz the title at Fastlane (WWE's Peacock debut show). And that will set up Miz & Morrison vs Bad Bunny & Damian Priest. So going this route serves a lot of purposes.

WWE TV 02/01 - 02/07 PALMEIRAS IS THE LIBERTADORES DA AMERICA CHAMPION
rovert replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
NintendoLogic I've personally kept to Irish restrictions to a tee this last year. But Florida is basically "open", WWE wrestlers are independent contracts and the WWE hasn't laid out hard and fast rules. Them cutting Steve Culter is cruel and unfair. But he isn't the difference-maker Ricochet is to AEW. That's Wrestling. End of the day it is a star/rule by exception business. IF WWE had a union Cutler might have had an unfair dismissal case but it doesn't so he won't. Will blow over by the weekend. -

It was a recording stricken by grief that no one should draw conclusions from. But Cesaro didn't exactly have a Chris Hero-like recall and reverence for the indies on the Brodie Lee tribute episode the New Day podcast recorded. Cesaro's memories were spurred by his Twitter timeline and gifs more than actual recall. Also, he (likely) is operating under a US Visa and needs a WWE or "an office" to sponsor him also. Moving elsewhere promotionally would mean an indeterminate amount of months of moving back home and reapplying to the US on a fingers crossed basis Pre-COVID made that process slow/more difficult under the Trump regime. Various stages of COVID made it impossible after that. -
The consensus around him and his work everywhere says a lot about Butch. Also, all are things this forum, in particular, have stated endlessly due to the DVDR Mid South project in detail. This tribute by Nancy's sister is probably the hardest one to read.

They did not give up on him easily. He didn't/couldn't show up to work due to anxiety attacks. And they've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in therapy for him. -
He's amid an angle but yeah. Just one of those Pro Wrestling things.

Taya was pegged for NXT not WWE but plans can change. Trish, Lita and Beth are safer/obvious.
-
A solid shout. He'd be in NXT UK if it wasn't for COVID.

WWE TV 01/25 - 01/31 What's the pro wrestling equivalent of Mahomes vs Brady?
rovert replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Nah, Meiko was always pegged for NXT UK. She made a lot of friends in Wrestling over there from her tours in the UK over the last 5 years. Has been her second home largely. The person/woman on the throne in the Xia Li/Boa storyline is most likely Karen Q mainly of Mae Young Classic fame. Fits her build and Karen has been silent social media since the storyline started. -

That's so off base. They are like 98% right on things. -
Yes, it is. But recut to include a few minutes about him after he died. Tributes from Roman Reigns, The Rock, Bruce Prichard, a very upset and sad Vince McMahon and some others. It is a bit of a confusing hackjob. The whole thing prior to the 2021 inserts is about how he's gay but that didn't matter because he was a good wrestler. Was a really odd tone for 2015 the documentary was primarily made and odder now. A lot of it was looking back at his career and telling the story of his parents, promoters etc. But then there is Pat telling stories about Vince Sr, and Gerald Brisco saying similar things. They could have tidied it up a bit as it felt like watching a DVD documentary with the chapters set at random at times. It is still worth a watch and Pat is extremely warm and likeable.

I like Noam and his personality. But as you said the early press and the aspirations for him by his peers around a decade ago were so strong that everything subsequently kinda gets framed as not living up to his potential. At the time a lot of people thought he'd be the next Prince Devitt.
