I poked and prodded people to watch their rematch last week and got no traction for some reason. Meltzer loved it too but didn't seem to acknowledge that it was a one man show with Cesaro: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x14njuj_0...t?search_algo=2

Listened to the first four shows in work yesterday (I listen to podcasts on Downcast's triple speed feature). Had the standard prejudices about this time period for the promotion but I really did come away with really liking the overall vibe of the show.

Mike Johnson's Reddit AMA is worthwhile: http://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comm..._coproducer_of/

Tremendous news. Austin gave his cohost the Stone Cold Stunner: No mo forced banter. Elsewhere Lawler talking about the Kaufman angle was on of the podcast moments of the year.

You simply NEED to watch this video. The future of TV:

What a dull first hour.

Court Baurer shared the same anecdote about Dave on his Baurer & Pollock podcast this morning. Dave sent him his ballot in response to a years old email when Court was still in WWE. Court offered the pro-tip of bombarding Dave with (news tip) emails during this season if you want a decent chance in receiving a ballot. Each has their drawbacks as you well know. Alan's board is moderated but Dave never ever visits it - despite it being initially created for Dave and his Wrestling Observer only type subscribers when the WON-F4W merger happened. Classic Wrestling forum is largely dead. Dave visits Pro Wrestling but it is a trollfest.

Karl Stern on his last F4W podcast was openly asking for listeners to provide him with the case for Patera. Posted a link to the Wrestling Culture profile show and a link here. I will probably be back on the The Board early next week. Is it worth the trouble for me to drag over all of the Patera stuff to his forum or not? There's a two page ironic thread in the Pro Wrestling section. Start a thread in the Classic Wrestling section.

The Jim Ross Is A Grouchy Hateful Vile Human Being thread

Over/under on Jim Ross schilling Alphabrain? -
The PWTorch site has started uploading John Arezzi's old Pro Wrestling Wrestling Spotlight radio show: http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/VIP_Exc...ml#.Ui8MW9Iw3ow These old radio shows are a trip in general. There's a few things striking about this show and Wade's Minnesota based Pro Wrestling Focus show. The Pro Wrestling Focus callers spoke like they were out of the film Fargo weren't that sophisticated and were rather timid. The Spotlight callers from New Jersey on the other hand are all very forward Guido types and knowledge. Much like the modern day in New Jersey conventions are a big thing and there's a million indy shows while Minnesota maybe had one indy show a month worth talking about. "Hi I am Carmine and I would just like to ask about Evad Sullivan?"

I know point it out on this forum is like shooting ducks in a barrel. But it is amazing to see how much anticipation there is for Goldust's return in comparison to Edge for the level of star Edge is supposedly at even when you fact in the gulf in storyline support.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
rovert replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
The next taping in theory is the biggest of the year in kayfabe terms however they have only sold in the region of a 1,000 tickets. So they are running an old school food can drive to make up the attendance for production purposes: Poor old TNA have only sold about 1,000 tickets to their next TV taping. So they have decided to run this charity promotion: Queue the roster poverty jokes. -
Reading this: http://wrestlingclassics.com/.ubb/ultimate...ic;f=7;t=000546 Yohe's comment is very odd. I think Wade is removed from the Observer circle as anyone.

Will the show has been getting some really nice notices on the Observer board and Twitter. Looking forward to listening to part 2 tomorrow.

Yeah Dustin legit fighting for his job back and Cody's acting informed by just that AND his own career given a substantive purpose could really reap something special.

Ted DiBiase announced on Twitter that Cody can be booked film inquiries by e-mailing at [email protected]

Mookie has probably pulled up the stat before but AJ probably has 100s of ****+ matches in the Observer. If there is any justification for him to be argued it would be that. On an Observer mailbag radio segment Meltzer said he would consider putting Minoru Suzuki back on the ballot. Obviously that didn't happen.

I need to ask you Dylan did you think Swagger/Zayn was better than Cesaro/Zayn?
-
Nope. Bruce and Dave are simply friends.

TPI has been cancelled. Ian Rotten announced he has stomach cancer on Facebook. Sadly scepticism abounds online.
