DDP finds out that he won't get his title shot against The Giant for winning Battlebowl, because he was eliminated without the ref seeing it earlier in the match, which he wasn't at all. I'm reminded of how PWI used to always make fun of WCW's anonymous decision makers, because they were sometimes the "executive committee" and sometimes the "championship committee".

My brother and I were always highly amused by the WCW Executive Committee, which Hudson would talk about non-stop on WCWSN in late 1998/early 1999.

DDP was technically eliminated earlier in Battle Bowl, so they give his #1 contendership to...Lex Luger. Uh, shouldn't it go to the Barbarian, then? As surprising as DDP's win was, this was a pretty bullshit, modern-day-WWF style bait-and-switch.

Yeah, how does Luger get the spot here. We do get a GOOD GAWD From DDP which is nice to hear in 1996 and he calls Gene Snapperhead. Pretty awful promo that the crowd doesn't care much about.

WCW executive committee with yet another ridiculous, horrible decision.  Either way, it's good to see DDP and he is coming off of a pretty good match against Brad Armstrong.  I NEED more Brad Armstrong in my life.
