Loss
Embry's return on the 05/11 MSC show! We get about 10 seconds of an 8 minute match where all the Moondogs run in. Then, we cut to the Lawler/Jarrett vs Moondogs match. A few minutes of great action, where Embry helps clear the ring of the heels. I wish we could see more of these matches. Tim Evans
Eddie Marlin is WALKING TALL.
shoe
I wish we could get some of this in full.
Kevin Ridge
Needed to see more of Embry in action. Was enjoying watching Richard Lee on the outside during the second match. He's running away and Marlin flings a chair at him and gets him in the leg. Good throw.
Zero
Memphis is the highlight of the year for me. I don't think there has been one Memphis thing on here that's not been great.
WingedEagle
The Moondogs interfere in Embry's match, everyone eventually is out and Lee bumps well for Eddie Marlin and Jarrett. Highlights continue with tons of chairshots and blood. Then the dogs attack again, spike piledriving Jarrett before Embry is out to to clean house. As noted above, this feud has been one of the true highlights of the year.
PeteF3
Two hot matches, two run-in DQ finishes, two great performances (from what we see) by Richard Lee. I so want to see Marlin vs. Lee in an actual match.
MikeCampbell
The Moondogs angle continues to bring the awesomeness. Richard Lee's drunken selling when he got popped by Marlin was almost as awesome. Why didn't Eddie Gilbert try to bring the Moondogs into ECW when he first started with them? If they were anything like they had been in Memphis, they'd have gotten over like a million bucks.
garretta
We didn't see much of Embry/Spotty except for the run-in, but the tag match was good as always. The highlight performances come from Marlin and Lee outside the ring. It had to feel so good for Eddie to finally get a piece of Lee after all the trouble Lee and the Dogs have given him over the past few months. For his part, Lee can sure take a beating. If he calms down promo-wise just a tad, he's got a nice future in the business. Interesting that Lee made a virtue out of necessity before this card, promoting Spotty as a technical genius who could outwrestle Embry. Of course, that's because Spike and Cujo were defending the tag titles and Spotty was the only one left.
dawho5
Lee took a lot of punishment for sure and I liked his staggering sell. Embry making the save is good booking. I want to point out again that the amount of weapon shots, etc. is ridiculous. Made moreso by the fact that piledrivers somehow are MORE dangerous than a 15 minute match filled with chairs and metal poles. Oh, and the point about "too violent and bloody for kids on TV" has to be brought up. I mean, what percent of this audience was kids?
