Loss
In a classic line, Dusty says with Sapphire, he has "a place to stick it".
soup23
Not much you can do with this but shake your head. Can't believe the amount of innuendos thrown around that I never caught as a kid.
Kevin Ridge
Oh to be naive again so I wouldn't notice things like this being said about Dusty and Sapphire.
Cox
Good for Dusty, you know?
JerryvonKramer
Got to give it do Big Dust, he rolled with this and went 110% on it. I'm surprised they never did an angle during the Goldust stuff years later where Dusty comes out loud and proud. Â If you just had the audio here, you'd assume that Dusty was the big black woman and Sapphire was the man.
Laney
Goofy promo. Dusty says that the 90's will be the decade of the common man and he throws some innuendo in there as well. Short and entertaining.
garretta
Typical short SNME promo. These were scripted moreso than the average syndicated show stuff was, according to some of the wrestlers, and you can tell it's true, especially with Okerlund, whose questions are more cleverly phrased than usual (in general, not necessarily in this particular promo). Â Dusty-Rude would have been in interesting program if they'd chosen to go with it, although Sapphire wouldn't seem to be Rude's type. drew wardlaw
I honestly did catch a lot of the innuendo until I read this thread and re-watched the clip.
dawho5
Good promo from Dusty, but no surprise there. Somewhere to stick it is some kind of way to end a promo. Especially after the whole "year of the woman, Rick Rude has been treating women bad" stuff.
Stiva
A promo that builds to a great punchline.
