I called this numerous times as a kid and it was a complete ripoff. One question I remember was "Shawn Michaels once went by which name" and the "correct" answer was Sean Royal. Ugh.

 

My friend's grandpa won $1,000 on a scratch off around this time and he bought my friend a power glove. It sucked. The movie "the wizard" made it look cool. In reality, the AVGN pretty much summed up our experience with that piece of crap

I actually remember this commercial dimly. I wonder if Bruno and Lou had anything to do with it after filming the commercial; I can't imagine Bruno being too happy once he found out what a scam it was. Lou's sporting the Super Mario mustache here.

My friend's neighbor had a power glove and the thing didn't work, or we were too little and stupid to work it. I think it only worked with certain games maybe? We tried it with like Mario 2 or something and it didn't do anything. In The Wizard they used it with a racing game.
