Loss Posted November 18, 2012 Author Report Posted November 18, 2012 Last few minutes. The matches in this feud aren't particularly good. It's the storyline and the program that is the highlight. Great finish, as Tessa finally has enough and shakes the top rope as Tatum climbs to the top and costs him the match, kissing Dundee and leaving with him! Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 I praised Tatum for his shamelessness earlier but I think his problem as a worker is going too far in that direction. You can criticize Lawler for relying too much on stalling and cheating and foreign objects but he comes across like Vader by comparison to Tatum. It works even less when in with a guy like Dundee. Still a good finish that's finally a turning point in this storyline as Tessa turns on Tatum and crotches him on the top rope, leading to a Dundee win. Quote
soup23 Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 Tessa looked really good here and I loved the finish with her being fed up, getting a kiss from Dundee, and running off with him. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 John Morrison would have fit in USWA with having his hair blown around. Tessa ends up grabbing rope when Tatum climbs it to knock him off balance. Dundee gets the win, the belt and a kiss. Quote
Cox Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 "The makings of a beautiful love story," says Craig Johnson about the new Tessa/Bill Dundee romance. Sure, a beautiful love story that starts when Tessa is getting beaten up by John Tatum and when Bill Dundee forces himself on her a bunch of times. I've confused this one with Gone with the Wind a bunch of times. Quote
TravJ1979 Posted January 9, 2014 Report Posted January 9, 2014 I agree with soup, Tessa looked amazing. She was rocking the Missy Hyatt shiny pants which Tatum seems to be a sucker for, haha. Thankfully she ditched the crimped hair. Quote
garretta Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 I give the USWA credit for trying to spice up what would normally be a pedestrian series of bouts with some romantic intrigue, but no one did the "Beauty and the Beast" story better than Vince did with Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Still we get a satisfying payoff here, as Tessa has finally put up with enough of Tatum's abuse and costs him the Southern heavyweight title, then leaves with Dundee. Is it true romance for the Superstar and the lovely Tessa? Stay tuned! Quote
drew wardlaw Posted April 13, 2016 Report Posted April 13, 2016 Tatum is a soprano! Can't wait to see how Tatum responds to this. Quote
GSR Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 It looks like something has just gone on, as we join this as the commentators talk about Dundee coming to the defence of Tessa and she’s now in the opposite corner. Dundee unloads with some rights and with Tatum reeling he pushes him to the canvas. Tatum is on his knees begging for mercy, but when the ‘Superstar’ whips him into the ropes, Tatum holds on and Dundee dropkicks the air. Tatum slams Dundee but the ‘Superstar’s’ feet collide with referee Tony Falk knocking him down. Tatum goes to the top turnbuckle but Tessa starts shaking the ropes and he crotches himself. Dundee covers him and Falk comes back around in time to count the three. Tessa leaves with Dundee and the two of them share a kiss with Craig Johnson saying what a cute couple they make. Quote
dawho5 Posted February 25, 2017 Report Posted February 25, 2017 I can't see this working out well for Tessa or Dundee next time Tatum sees them. I still like the Tatum character, it fits whats going on in the angle to a T. Quote
