BillThompson
Like I said, didn't want to jump the gun until all the facts had been ironed out. I'm happy they didn't remove anything though, because if they do start removing content then to me that means all the libraries WWE owns are essentially useless and the Network becomes a service I have no real interest in at a certain point. Indeed - I am happy to pay 10 bucks to access the specials, old content and other random stuff that they put in (I like stuff like Countdown). I haven't watched the last couple of PPV's or NXT or any other new shows, I just don't have a lot of time and I'm not interested in them. Hopefully the TNT/Primetime has had a good enough response that they see again some value in the old stuff as part of their package. They ran NWA Saturday Night and Mid Atlantic for a few years in Classics so I hope that stuff starts popping up soon.
bradhindsight
All the Nitros are still up, so I think that might be a false rumor. We were talking about this, looks like they may have added a bumper or something. They're all there.
Migs
It's amazing to me that some people would rather buy a PPV than get the Network for free. - Vince McMahon Added attribution.
MikeCampbell
It's amazing to me that some people would rather buy a PPV than get the Network for free. My buddy still buys the PPVs, even though he has the network. Because, they play like garbage on the network, with constant pauses and skipping. I think it's just he has shitty service, since my brother in law watches them on the network and says it's fine.

flyonthewall2983
The website hasn't been working at all today for me. Anyone else having trouble there?
fakeplastictrees
Nope. Its been working fine for me all day. Unfortunately the website doesn't load through my FF anymore which is weird as EVERYTHING is updated and it was working a few days ago. iamthedoctor
How is the Network getting on with classic episodes of Raw? Only info I could find is that they are somewhere in 1996 but they didnt show the first one from that year because of some Raw Bowl?
sek69
They are mid way through March 1996 on Raws, not sure why they skipped the Raw Bowl but my memory seems to recall that sucked so I'm not too upset.
pantherwagner
Lately they have been uploading 1999 and 2000 raws into this Xmas section. If you are a big DX and HHH fan then you'll be happy with the uploads. They are apparently going to upload some Heat episodes as well (Halftime Heat I guess?) You cant forget the best part of that show being Mabel getting squashed by Diesel in 5 seconds.
PeteF3
I suspect there may be music rights clearance issues with the Raw Bowl episode. They had a live marching band who were playing real songs (I recognized "You Can Call Me Al," and there were others).

PeteF3
I wonder if it's not trickier with live music than dubbing an entrance theme, though. The music is playing while Lawler and Vince are talking and it may not be on separate audio tracks.
fakeplastictrees
WWE GAB 07 is a pretty fun show. Just finished watching it. Bobby Lashley, Jeff Hardy, and Umaga were all so good around that time. The worse match on this card was NOT Candice Michelle vs. Melina. That honor goes to Kane/Batista/Khali. I feel like this is one of those matches Vince wanted to build to and no one had the balls to tell Vince its a terrible idea. This show has Hornswoggle winning the CW title to a massive pop, Dusty Rhodes cutting a classic American Dream promo as only he can, and Lashley/Cena making a strong case of being in the top 20 WWE matches of 2007. I wouldn't recommend anyone going completely out of his/her way to see this show, but if you have some time to kill on a Sunday (or in an airport on Christmas Day), check it out. Must Watch: Cena/Lashley Punk/Morrison Hardy/Umaga Dream's promo Honorable Mention: Orton/Dream in a Bull Rope match
iamthedoctor
I wish they had done a deal with Metallica because even when the DVD came out for ONS 2005 it didnt feel the same having a generic theme for Sandman when the crowd was singing. Unfortunately the website doesn't load through my FF anymore which is weird as EVERYTHING is updated and it was working a few days ago. The same thing happened to me. I cleared all WWE.com cookies, closed and reopened the browser, and logged back in. That fixed the problem.
BillThompson
If you're using Chrome it's been known to have issues with the Network from time to time. It usually works for me, but twice I've had to uninstall Chrome and remove all traces of Chrome from my laptop, then reinstall it for it to work again. C.S.
It was an FF issue for me and fakeplastictrees. Not sure about flyonthewall2983.
fakeplastictrees
Chrome has been smooth. Safari is interesting because I try to login (I click login) and I never get the sign to actually punch in my credentials, it keeps circling back to the login screen. Again, I find it interesting as my Safari, firmware, cpu, etc. is all updated and I cleared my cookies, history, etc. in Safari multiple times and restarted my computer. I'm a tech guy so I always make sure those bases are covered- next step will be to uninstall and re-install. I've been too lazy to do that (even thought it takes less than a minute), but will get around to it before the end-of-the-year.
iamthedoctor
When is it likely the UK will get the Network? Seems now SKY have put their prices up a extra fiver per PPV and have ditched NXT & Superstars and no more free PPVs on Sky Sports seems we wont ever get the network now as this is basically forcing people to fork out extra money that isnt needed. Lee
Wasn't Vince's quote on the Austin podcast "By the new year"? Meaning they've got three days to get it sorted or that's three start dates they've missed.
