I've given it a go a few times. He seems to know his stuff on 80s territories and whatnot, but his bumbling, meandering way of expressing himself can be grating. And I'm not overly interested in hearing about his shift patterns in the Georgia PD....

I tried back when I first subbed to the site, but now usually only listen if the description piques my interest. Lots of times it doesn't, especially if it's action figure talk or things like that.

I'm a really big fan of the show and send in questions from time to time. I like the way it's just free form and unscripted. It's primarily the reason I subscribe to the Observer site.

Listening to his July marathon - good when he gets going, but reading results from house shows gets very dry, very quickly.

I'm a big fan, probably my favorite show on the site, depending on how much MMA talk Bryan and Dave are doing.

I thought his history of wrestling series from a few years back was really very good. The main problem with the show is that he could kind of do with a co-host at times just to play off.

 

For example, Gary Cubeta brings almost nothing to those Talk57.com interviews with Matysik, but it helps break things up a bit so it's not just Larry rambling to himself, and I think Dragon Karl goes into that territory on occassion.

I really enjoyed his podcast when I first heard it way back in 2005 or 2006.

I definitely do give him props for the July marathon. And he does know his stuff with the deeper southern territories. Last one I listened to was reading Hogan house show opponents, gates, etc.

The Dr. Keith show is my favorite, but I understand that not everyone likes it.

I've heard Dr Keith a few times as sometimes its available for free. Definitely a good listen

Karl really needs a co-host. If he had a co-host, it could be ok.

Someone told me they liked a show he did recently that talked about Continental for the first 30 minutes. I'm not a podcast guy in the first place but I was not a fan. I only lasted 20 minutes because I was busy editing a list and just needed something to listen to.
