El Boricua
To confirm, this as of July 1 of 83, right?
goc
You have Luke Williams listed for Southwest but not Butch Miller. Â EDIT: Ok tried to do a little research on that and wikipedia had this to say: After the team left WWC, Butch decided that he wanted to return closer to home and went to Australia to wrestle. Luke remained in the United States determined to keep the "Sheepherders" name on everyone's lips by teaming up with "Lord" Jonathan Boyd (formerly of the Royal Kangaroos). In 1983, Boyd and Williams were working for Southwest Championship Wrestling when in June, Jonathan Boyd legitimately broke his leg in a car accident. While Boyd was out with the broken leg Butch returned from Australia to reunite with his old tag-team partner. But looking at the TV listings from the time it doesn't look like Butch is in by July 1st.
KrisZ
Yeah Boricua I don't have much WWC results from that era  Luke was teaming with Ali Bey some at that time

El Boricua
No worries Kris, it's frustrating the overall lack of results for WWC but we make do.  I'm not sure if they were still there in July, but around May-June we had the following wrestlers in WWC (not including those already listed in the WWC roster list above):  Ron Sexton Frank Dusek Jim Dillon Crazy Luke Graham Kendo Nagasaki (I actually think he was in WWC in July since he appears at Aniversario in September) Victor Jovica (semi-regular that pops in now and then as a wrestler) Angelo Rivera Chicky Starr El Monarca Javier Cruz (he's not there by September and probably should not be listed since he goes back to Mexico) Goro Tsurumi Barrabas Ox Baker  Gorilla Monsoon did some shots during this time with his last appearance being Aniversario 83 against Tamba. The Sheik did some shots in the first part of the year.  Don't think they were in WWC in July, but were there earlier in the year and do not see them on the list:  Gino De La Serra Pierre Martel/Frenchy Martin (think he was in Grand Prix at this time)  Others that I don't see: Jose Estrada (started as Medico 1 in July in WWC, tag partner was Johnny Rodz as Medico 2) Jose Luis Rivera Rick Valentine/Kerry Brown (think he was Grand Prix at the time) Bruiser Bedlam/Johnny K-9 Dick Steinborn (although he may be close to retirement at this point) Iranian Assassin (may be there under a different name) Gerry Morrow Bob De La Serra/Heffernan Sweet Daddy Siki  Perro Aguayo was the Junior heavyweight champion, but he would only pop in for increasingly sporadic appearances (he remains recognized as the Junior champion all the way to summer of 84). Enrique Vera, Scorpio and Mr. Tempest had already gone back to Mexico before May.  Bob Sweetan, Gypsy Joe, Gama Singh and Tamba start at some point in late summer/early fall (they are all there by Aniversario 83). Tim Tall Tree tags with Gypsy Joe a s the Infernos at Aniversario 83. Chief Thundercloud and Chuy come in at some point, but not sure if it was just for Aniversario or for how long.  Masa Fuchi and Masao Ito had stints earlier than July, but I don't think would qualify. JerryvonKramer
Kris, one thing you might do is go through my 1983 WWF booking thread to see if there are any guys you missed who were hireable in their database. Quite a few older guys I ran against Snuka, for example, aren't listed. The Sheik springs to mind. You can make a call as to whether or not they were realistically active in 83. Tor Kamata is another one. There are quite a few older older guys I used at some point or other who were in the database. Some of them like Waldo von Erich or Spiros Arion's were dragged out of retirement, but others seemed to be listed as active. Â Maybe Bruno under "retired"? Â Some guys, if you listed them and I've missed them apologies. I'm on my iPAd and can't figure out how to use "find" on the page. Â Doug Somers? Frankie Williams? Jose Luis riveria Mike Jackson Pedro Morales? Italian Stallion? George South? Â Â Also, I'm sure you know, but don't forget about Harley! Â Also what we doing with managers? I'd definitely want use of them in my booking.

Mike Jackson I forgot...he was bouncing around Georgia & Southeastern. Pedro Morales I listed in WWC Italian Stallion & George South weren't wrestling yet
El Boricua
Actually, Jose Luis Rivera was not in WWC at this time. I think he left in 1982. Jose Estrada and Johnny Rodz did start in July as the Medics though. If we're adding jobbers than I think Maravilla, Isaac Rosario, Tony Colon and Pedro Valdes would qualify. JerryvonKramer
Steven, following on from my post about WWA in the other thread, can you pull up the WWA roster on your TEW? Â I think I listed most of them, but there are some obscure cats lurking there. I want to say they had Bobo Brazil too.

JerryvonKramer
I wish I still had mine. I am not sure where to find the 1983 mod now. Â Before the draft, it might be worth cross-checking our list with the database to see if there's any we missed. We could do a skype call with Kris on the line to make a call on whether or not to include certain guys. Â Like Spiros Arion, I'd say leave out, but Tor Kamata should be in. Stuff like that
Grimmas
Assuming Beast takes Flair that leaves me to choose between: Â Jack & Jerry Brisco Wahoo McDanielRoddy PiperJake RobertsRicky Steamboat & Jay YoungbloodGreg Valentine As my guys to save. KrisZ
They are as of July 1, 1983 Â WWA had guys like Jerry Valiant, Great Wojo, Tiny Hampton, Max Blue, Gil Guerrero, and other winners like that
JerryvonKramer
Jerry Valiant is a pretty underrated worker. He's kind of like Bobby Heenan, big bumper. Â WWF were booking him in the mid-80s as a job guy because when they'd run Indianapolis, they hired his ring. He owned a ring you see.
Flyin' Brian
Grey Dog Software forums have a 1983 mod called War To Settle The Score, but I'm not sure if that would be a good one to use for cross checking.
dedhemingway
There's also a 1983 scenario for the freeware 2005 version of TEW, I believe it's called 'Death of the Territories'. Been a few years since I've played it, I mostly use 13 now.
Grimmas
WWA in TEW has  Bill Beach, Buddy Colt, Bobo Brazil, Brute Bernard, Chris Markoff, Dick the Bruiser, Greg Wojokowski, Igor Zatkoff, Mike Kelly, Moose Cholak, Pat Kelly, Paul Christy, Rick McGraw, Steve Regal, Terry Sullivan, The Sheik, TOm Jones, Troy Graham, Victor Rivera, Wilbur Snyder
