Each person should make a mission statement. Maybe I will change my vote.

I went with Paul Jones due to knowledge and the Flair situation.

I've seen the future where Flair becomes NWA Champion and the title is held hostage in the Carolinas. I do not like that future.

As solely an owner and not booker, that allows me to step outside focusing solely on JCP and work to ensure that every NWA member's territory continues to grow and make money. If Flair became champ, what would be the point of not sharing him with the rest of the group? JCP knows that if any shenanigans went down, it would completely devalue the title anyway. And again, I'm open to other champions, especially if that's the majority opinion.

I want to ensure that everything NWA-related goes down as fair and is transparent for all members. In worst case scenarios, I'm prepared to act as a mediator to settle tempers between territories that aren't getting along as it pertains to scheduling, booking, talent, etc...

While I know the inner workings of how the NWA was run especially regarding the booking of the champion plus again I have the national TV outlet to spotlight every major star of the NWA.

You don't need to be President to spotlight stars of the NWA. You should do that regardless as a proud NWA member.

How do you address the concerns that your cable TV may screw up potential long term goals of the territories by presenting local heroes as heels and local villains as babyfaces on the screen? Your attempt to showcase everyone from the NWA could be the downfall to all of the territories that thrive on local market television? Also, Mr. Crockett is presenting a supershow the likes that has never been seen before. He has already sent memos about this new endeavor called closed circuit television that will allow people to pay for the big show at the arena AND at home... progressive beyond measure.

In response, Georgia would refuse fans this....

No wonder Tommy Rich left the territory!!! You left money on the table!!!

Bob Geigel would like to remind the assembled that he guided the Alliance through a period of unprecedented growth, and the turbulent times of the dispersal draft. During that time, he has gained yet more national television time for the Alliance, and, as shown by Harley Race's unprecedented run of championships, has a track record of willingness to work for the best of the Alliance.

All I'm saying is that GCW needs to build the NWA up to Sam Muchnick levels after the signs of a potential downfall.......

One thing that has been talked about is a special NWA 35th Anniversary Show on September 4th, 1983 where each territory will be able to spotlight talent on the show which will be broadcast LIVE on

And in return I'd like to repeat that Jim Crockett Promotions has begun the preparations for a closed-circuit Thanksgiving show in which fans from all the over country will be able view their home territory's stars on a previously unheralded supercard. Currently five NWA promotions have thrown their hat into the ring to provide talent, but Crockett again welcomes all dues-paying members to join in as we kick open the door to the future.

As a Canadian promoter I have very little interest in my talent being really over in the States. I would like to know what the three candidates positions are on Canada and a possible Canadian subdivision where the Canadian title and possibly a Canadian tag team title of some kind tour around. This is not to say that talent out of Quebec is unavailable to promoters in the U.S., just that there is little interest in how said talent is viewed by the fans there. That being said, we want our talent to enjoy success wherever they may go after they are done working for the International Wrestling Association. We understand the same is true of other promoters and can promise that all talent we host will be treated as if the International Wrestling Association were their home promotion. We expect that any talent we send abroad will be treated the same.

I'm fine with the Canadian promotions having their own subdivision that is still part of the NWA. Whether this includes talent exchanges and exposure in the USA is up to each promoter, but I personally am open to whatever best suits each promotor's needs. MLW is already involved in Starrcade (name subject to change), but Misters Tomko, Hart, and Rougeau are also invited if they are so inclined. Jim Crockett is prepared to offer talent for the Canadian supercard being held on 11/26.

The goal is for every promotion to grow within its area, using the resources of the NWA as a whole. More importantly if any non-NWA affiliated promotion tried to infringe on our Canadian brethren, the NWA is there to supply talent and whatever else is necessary to win that war.

And assuming the board supports it, Mr. Crockett is a backer of Mr. Tunney being the NWA promotor of midget wrestling.
